A bit about my writing before you decide to read the rest of my profile:

I think there are only several things that people may be uncomfortable about in my stories

1. Incest (I don't write much of it, but, as I have stated on my tumblr somewhere, I find this an effective plot device, and also find that it makes relationships infinitely more interesting.
2. Violence (None of my fanfiction should have gore, but I do write certain original pieces in school that make my friends queasy, so I apologise if it slips through. Mostly those that appear here focus on the psychological effects on both the perpetrator and the victim. Please also read the next one for more further elaboration.)
3. Mild insanity (and accompanying thoughts)

Queen's Thief Series

This is a rather obscure fandom, which consists of four books and three short stories. As of now, I only have one multi-chapter fic. There are many political schemes in these books, as well military strategies, so when reading this, on must keep a very clear head so as not to get mixed up. It isn't dry though, because they are interspersed with interpersonal relationships and witty dialogue that are really entertaining. Example:
'"Can I ask for something?"
The king appeared to think. "You can ask," he said. "I'm king, Costis, not a genie. I don't grant wishes."'
The narration for the first and fourth books are really funny too, because they are written in first person, and both narrators have become particularly sarcastic in their adolescence.

Spirited Away

This fandom's canon is really good, but it is really hard to write fanfic about it because it is so good. And because their ages make it slightly squicky to me, even if no one else seems to care. I mean, okay, maybe ten year old girls can crush on their twelve year old heroes, but isn't it kind of weird to read them actually paired together? Especially because in canon they are so innocent, but then the fan theories about allegories in this story comes in, and the bathhouse is suddenly not the ideal place to vacation in, with all the yunas... (*coughprostitutioncough*)
But it also makes me thing more about humans' interaction with nature, and how carelessly, as well as unnecessarily we have harmed our environment. I mean, after you think Haku is cool and brave and all, yet chained to his mistress because of his lack of his name and memories, one cannot help but pity him, right? Then you figure out exactly why he is stuck in that position...

Sleeping Beauty (Any rendition of the fairy tale, including the Disney version)

Aurora is sweet and cheeky, and modelled after one of my favourite actresses, Audrey Hepburn. Plus, Mary Costa has a brilliant voice. What's not to like? Besides Maleficent is one of the coolest villains in the franchise. Jokes aside, I liked the show because of both the characters and the technical stuff. Looking at the animation, it seems like such an old classic when we watch it nowadays, and I have to say that it is one of the only Disney movies that make me feel like it is actually magical, using the lighting and the colouring. As for the characters themselves, I find that Aurora and Maleficent are very similar; almost like two sides of the same coin. Aurora may seem sweet, naive, pretty, and virtuous while Maleficent is wicked, spiteful, vicious, and beautiful in an odd, twisted way. Yet, if we combine their various qualities to form one persona, the end result seems very human to me.
The ballet is brilliant, and I admire the skill of the ballerina playing Aurora because the altitude turns are very, very hard, particularly on pointe shoes.
As for the one thing all the versions have in common, it seems to me that the leading lady actually has the least screen time amongst all of the characters. And this presents the perfect gold mine of ideas; what must the Sleeping Beauty be thinking when she is cursed for no good reason, and then left to the mercy of anyone who passes by to save her? Worse, what if she wasn't actually sleeping, but trapped and perfectly aware of her surroundings?

Greek Mythology

My favourite character is Cassandra of Troy, because I think that her mind must be very interesting to write about. Imagine a god falling in lust with you, and giving you a gift to woo you, and when you reject his advances as a proper princess and priestess, he turns it on you? She must have been a very strong woman to have dealt with that. Even if she was half-mad. To have your own family ridicule you when trying to save them must have been the worst sort of betrayal.
I also find the fate of the rest of the unfortunate victims of the gods' lust rather sad, and of course, very interesting to write about.

Monster Inc.

Nothing much about this, only that I am interested in the impact of Boo's venture into that world. In fact, I find the parallels between her and Chihiro rather interesting; they were both rather young when they entered another world, and when they leave, they would likely not remember anything. Yet the impact of their experience will last for a very, very long time. The worst thing will probably be the strange, unexplained memories...

Harry Potter

This is a rather new fandom for me, and I generally write about the Most Ancient and Noble House of Black, because after all, in the words of Leo Tolstoy, 'Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.' Certainly, between a disowned firstborn male wrongly imprisoned for more than a decade, another child dead before eighteen, a third who happens to be having fun torturing people before rotting in Azkaban, the fourth married to the sort of people her family sought to exterminate before her husband, daughter, and son-in-law died, leaving behind an orphan. The last one is married to a known Death Eater, and by the end of the war, is no longer loyal to the sort of nonsense she subscribed to, and her husband in Azkaban and her son terrified of the idiot he is forced to serve. They are really the jolly sort, aren't they? And it is only one generation.
I find pureblood politics very interesting, because well, cloak and dagger politics never fail to entertain me. It's like playing a game, except the stakes get higher and higher.
It is also my guilty pleasure, because incest is so prevalent in that family in the name of breeding pureblooded children, and they even have a term coined for it; blackcest. I mean, they are all supposed to be really good looking, and more importantly, they all look the same...

I generally do one-shots because my life is highly unpredictable, and there is no way for me to know if I am able to complete a multi-chapter work. Nonetheless, I have started some against my better judgement, and I will strive to complete those.

Queen's Thief

Parts of the body
This story deals with the comparison of Irene, Helen, Sophos and Gen, with the aid of different organs and how they function for these people. The thing about this story is that though it is multi-chaptered, each chapter is independent from the next, and they only share a theme, so it doesn't really matter how many chapters in ends up having; you can still read it because each chapter has its own sort of 'conclusion'.

Harry Potter

Sealed with a loving kiss
Harry gets adopted by quite a number of people in fanfiction, so to put a new spin on an old tale, I have chosen a particular Black (who is not Sirius) to adopt the poor child. As of now, her identity (i.e. her parentage, which is the only important thing in pureblooded society) has yet to be revealed. Even her surname might not be particularly reliable. Don't worry, this story has yet to be abandoned, and the next two chapters are almost ready to be posted already; I just have to polish certain things and smoothen the transition.

Dear me, dead me
In this story, Sirius finds a kin 'beyond' the grave, and learns that you can take a Black out of the House, but not the House of a Black. As of now, Sirius and friends already know who it is, but the two have yet to reconcile, because it's been seventeen years, and besides, I can't quite get the third chapter to listen to me, so you might have to wait a little while more to see the next installment. I hope the idea isn't overused, and remember that the body they find isn't dead, just asleep.
(It might amuse you to know that this story started off as Sirius finding that mysterious person as a ghost!child in the beginning, but I decided that that crossed the line even in such an old and twisted family.)

Spirited Away

High school is a dangerous thing
Starting this particular one had been very, very, very bad judgement, and I am sorry I did, but here's to pressing on! Anyway, I do think that interaction between them will be interesting, but Chihiro is awkward, and so is Haku, and so am I, so I am not sure when exactly will you ever see the next chapter of this again. But it isn't a deadfic either, and I promise I will try to work the kinks out of this one since the break has started.
