"Mama! Mama! Look! Look!" he giggled as he took off into the sky. "Me can fly! Me can fly!"
"That's amazing, sweetheart!" she giggled as she helped him not to overbalance him. "Come on, just a little closer to me!"
"WHEEEE!!" he laughed. "This is so much fun!"
"Alright!" She grinned and flew up herself. "Now, wanna go and fly with me to the villages, dear?"
"Yay! Let's go!"She smiled as he flew off ahead of her as she called out his name."
Crusher…"
"Crusher…"
"Crusher!"
"Huh?"
Crusher turned to see Blaze staring over at him worriedly.
"Are you okay? And why are your eyes glowing white?"
"Wh-What...?" Crusher glanced at him in confusion as his eyes turned back to normal.
"Well... they were a minute ago... we were talking about cloud shapes in the sky, and you kinda zoned out."
"Is everything okay?" Watts asked.
"I… Yeah, I'm fine… just…" Crusher sighed.
"Just what?" Pickle asked, gently touching his tire.
"I... I thought I saw... my Mom..." Crusher hissed.
"Your mom?" Stripes asked.
"Yeah... she..."
"Friends, look!" Zeg gasped, pointing at the sky. "Something coming from sky!"
They all glanced up and gasped to see the clouds parting and something flying down. Something white and orange flapping it's wings and heading down towards them. What it was turned out to be a beautiful alicorn, with purple eyes and colors like the sunset. Her smile seemed to warm them instantly as she landed before them.
Crusher, being the scaredy truck he was, hid behind Darington and Zeg while everyone else gasped in shock.
"Woah!" Blaze's eyes widened.
"She looks beautiful!" AJ let out a gasp.
"Thank you," the alicorn smiled as she walked toward them, small flowers rising from each hoofstep she took. "Who are all of you?"
"My name is Blaze, and these are my friends," the red truck introduced. "Who are you? And where did you come from?"
"I am Nichi," she introduced herself.
Crusher's eyes widened before he could even think, and he drove a little closer.
He did more than recognize her.
He knew her.
And Crusher wasn't a fool to think he wouldn't recognize his first best friend after all this time.
"Nice to meet'cha, Nichi," Starla tipped her hat.
"Where did you come from?" Gabby asked.
"And what are you doing here?" Darington added.
"I am from another world, and I am looking for this world's prince, Ina-sora. Have any of you seen him?"
"Ina-who?" Gabby repeated, tilted her head. "Sorry, but I don't think we know any... Ina-Sora,"
"Oh... I see..." Nichi sighed, ears flattening. "Well, thank you dears for your time, but... I must be going,"
"Wait! Don't leave yet!" Crusher blurted out, rushing forward. "Nichi... it's me..."
Nichi tilted her head before her horn glowed gold and her eyes glowed white. In her vision, Crusher's form changed and flashed into a boy with blue and orange hair with skin as white as the clouds. She gasped.
"Ina-sora! It's you!"
"Yeah..." Crusher smiled.
"Wha...? I'm so confused right now," Darington stated, blinking at them.
"I... Nichi, could you tell them...? You know when I tell the story it brings back memories." Crusher pleaded with a sigh. "Memories that I... I don't think I can look back at..."
"Of course," Nichi smiled and nodded. She then turned to the others.
"You see... your friend here is actually the Lost Prince of the Sky Kingdom, where anyone can fly-- with wings or without."
"WHAT?!" the group's jaws dropped.
"Indeed. He and I were the best of friends growing up... until his evil uncle Cosmos killed his mother, Queen Stellara and banished him to this world. It took me years to find him. And now that I have... Crusher must come back with me and defeat his uncle."
"Your... UNCLE killed your MOM?!" Darington screeched.
"Yeah... he did," Crusher grimaced at the memory as Nichi patted his back with her wings. "But Nichi, I... I can't go back... I... I'm afraid to go back..."
"Ina-sora... I know life back then was rough. I remember searching all throughout the world for ages to find you. And now, your kingdom needs a king. The true king."
"And we'll go with you!" Blaze offered.
Crusher seemed a little unsure, but eventually sighed. "Okay... okay... I guess I'll give it my best shot,"
"Great! But... how do we get there?" Pickle asked.
"Simple. We must ride a magic rainbow up into the clouds. Allow me."
Nichi led them towards an edge of the cliff. Immediately, the clouds parted to create a rainbow bridge down to them.
"Whoa... we get to ride a real rainbow!" AJ gasped.
"Let us hurry!"
They all drove and rode up the rainbow. Nichi led the way to the sky.
