"Good idea, Blaze," AJ agreed.

"Come on, let's go," Crusher nodded.

They went forward, more cautious than ever as they drove straight. They soon made it to the palace gates, where the winged wolf guards stood on guard.

"How will we get past the guards?" Darington asked.

"Freeze!" one of them growled.

"Well, we tried-- time to make a break, guys!" Pickle screamed, trying to bolt.

But, before any one of the gang could make a move, a bunch of wolves had already wrapped chains around them and were taking them to the palace.

"Come on, guys! Be reasonable here!" Darington tried to wiggle free. "It's the prince of the kingdom you're arresting for crying out loud!"

"They only listen to what Cosmos has to say," Nichi sighed. "They are very stubborn otherwise. We will have to persuade them when we meet Cosmos himself."

"That was to be expected..." Crusher growled.

They were soon forced into the throne room, with the winged wolf knocking on the door.

"Your highness, we found some intruders, one claiming to be your nephew!"

"Bring them in!"

The wolves forced them into the room, and Cosmos turned around with a growl.

"Well, well... if it isn't Ina-sora, my rotten cowardly nephew..."

"Uncle Cosmos…" Crusher glared up at the other.

"Come back to bow before the TRUE king, I see?" Cosmos grinned.

"HE is the true king! Compared to you!" Nichi hissed.

"SILENCE, OR I WILL CLIP YOUR WINGS!!"

"DON'T YOU DARE!!" Crusher roared out.

"Surrender now, Cosmos, or we'll have to do things the hard way!" Blaze snarled. "Trust me, you won't like it the hard way!"

"And who are you tell that to ME, mortal boy?!" Cosmo snarled.

"Protectors of Axle City, and Crusher's best friends!" Pickle cried.

"Silence! Because you will be the first to watch your friend die!"

Cosmos grabbed Crusher tightly with magic, and his eyes glowed deep red.

"CRUSHER!" the group cried.

"AGH!!!" Crusher screamed as he felt the magic being drained from his body. "I'm so sorry, guys... you're all in danger and it's my fault! I couldn't save my mom, and now I won't be able to save you!"

"Crusher, you have to fight him!" Glacia cried. "We know it was hard for you, with loosing your mom and all, but you have a chance to take revenge on this jerk for her! You have to try!"

"I…" Crusher hissed and nodded. "I… I'll try…"

"We'll give you an energy boost!" Nichi nodded.

Nichi and Glacia pointed their horns at him, blasting their magic to help oppose to Cosmos's.

"Uncle Cosmos..." Crusher snarled, eyes beginning to glow, "this ends NOW!!"

His leftover magic unified with the alicorns before he opposed his uncle's magic. Cosmos snarled and fought to keep his magic in dominance, but their magic was strong, too strong, and they were getting closer and closer to him, causing him to hiss.

"Noo... nonononono! NO!!"

The blast soon reached him, and he screamed as he was thrown back and knocked down, powerless.

"NO!!!" he snarled. "How dare you?! You will pay for this!!"

"No... YOU'LL PAY FOR ALL YOU'VE DONE!!" Crusher snarled, glaring down at his uncle. "You killed Mom, you threw me away from this kingdom, MY kingdom! You will pay, and I'll make sure of it!"

He raised his hands up, and a portal opened up behind his uncle. Cosmos screamed as he was pulled into the portal.

"NOOOOO!!!"

And just like that... the former king of the Sky Kingdom was gone.

Seeing this, Crusher sighed and fell on his knees, tears beginning to flow down his cheeks. At this, Blaze and Pickle approached him.

"Crusher... are you okay? Why are you crying?"

"T-These... these are happy tears, Blaze," Crusher smiled through the tears. "All these years, I thought Mom died because I was too much of a coward to save her. But... it wasn't like that at all. Thanks to all of you, I was able to come home... and defeat my uncle. I... I don't know how to thank any of you."

"It was our pleasure, Crusher," Blaze smiled and hugged him, along with Pickle.

"Well... I guess since Cosmos is gone, you need to take the throne." Pickle spoke.

"That is right!" Nichi agreed with a bow to Crusher.

"Blaze... AJ... Pickle... I'd really like it if you stood by my side in the ceremony."

Really?" AJ's eyes widened.

"We'd be honoured, Crusher," Blaze smiled and gave a bow.

"Glacia, spread the word," Nichi said. "The ceremony will take place in an hour."

"Understood!" Glacia nodded and took off.

"Come on, your highness, we must get you changed," Nichi said, helping Crusher onto your back. "And the rest of you, as well."
