I’m into a bunch of different fandoms. For writing, I’m currently obsessed with Arrow, and I also love Marvel/ The Avengers. I’m coming off a huge Naruto mania, and I like Totally Spies. As far as books go, I’m not terribly picky. The Percy Jackson series (or pretty much anything Rick Riordan), The Mortal Instruments, the Maximum Ride books, the Alex Rider series… Pretty much anything with a good plot and interesting characters. Not a huge fan of Twilight, not gonna lie (please don’t kill me!). I’ve recently discovered this amazing TV show called Lie to Me, and I can’t get enough of it. I also love Sherlock, NCIS, Psych, Leverage, and the Flash. Once I’m caught up on/ through with those, I’ve been told I really need to check out Supernatural and Once Upon a Time.

As you can see, I have no life outside of books and Netflix.

Some more general info about me…

As far as my music tastes go – Well, you probably don’t have the time or patience for that list. Suffice it to say that for the most part, I at least like anything that isn’t the super hardcore scary screamo stuff. Hot funk, cool punk, even if it's old junk… I like it. (That was Billy Joel, by the way.)

I’m in my second semester of college and on track to get my BSN by 2019. Plans after that? I might continue on to my Master’s, I might enter the work field, and I might do some mission work/ travel nursing. Who knows? I certainly don’t.

I’m the oldest of three girls, and therefore rather protective and motherly. It’s funny – even our dog and cat are girls. The guinea pig and bird we used to have? Also girls. My poor dad.

I love soccer. I used to play, but then I got sick (more on that below) and couldn’t, so I coached younger kids until I went to college. I don’t have a favorite professional team, because I don’t get ESPN or anything that actually broadcasts games, but I love to watch a good match no matter who’s playing. I also love watching football, and can watch baseball too, though I find it more entertaining when I’m there in person. I’m one of those people that reacts to everything the players do, talks to myself during a game, and yells at the screen as if the people on the field can actually hear me. (Honestly, it’s quite possible that they do. I’ve been told I can get pretty loud.)

I have recently discovered the wonder of coloring books. I’ve always been a pretty crafty person, upcycling things and making cards instead of buying them, but beyond kids’ coloring books while babysitting, I had pretty much left that behind me. Now I love it so much. I got two adult coloring books for Christmas, and I’m steadily working my way through them. So. Much. Fun.

2/7/2016 – The first two chapters of this are up, but given that I haven’t touched it in almost three years, I don’t know what’s going to happen with it. I might go back and rewrite it, since I’ve grown and matured in my writing style since then, or I might scrap it. I’ll keep you posted on what I decide.

2/7/2016 – When I originally posted this, I said I might do a companion piece from Kakashi’s POV. That document has been sitting on my computer for a while now, so I’m going to clean it up and post it.

Tangled Arrows: Felicity has grown up believing everything her father, Ivo, tells her about her magic hair, the world outside her tower, and the people in it. But when a vigilante in green leather stumbles upon her while on the run from palace soldiers, all of that will change. My spin on Tangled, Arrow-style! (Arrow. Olicity. AU.)

2/7/2016 – Remember this one? Yeah… To be honest, this had mostly slipped my mind until I was going back through and looking at all of my old stuff. Like Home on the Range, I’m not positive what I’m going to do with this one. I still love the idea, and I’ve got a few chapters outlined on my computer. Again, I’ll keep you posted on my decision.

Untitled (rough summary): Felicity Smoak doesn’t know what to expect when she begs the Arrow for protection for herself and her young brother, but the friendship and sense of security that he and his team provide is definitely not it. Oliver Queen wasn’t expecting the desperate blonde that randomly appears in his life, but even more surprising is his growing willingness to be drawn back into a world he’d done his best to leave behind in order to help her. (Arow. Olicity. Not quite a Bratva AU, but pretty darn close.)

2/7/2016 – This is a new one. The idea came to me recently, and honestly is what got me back on the horse for writing. I have the first chapter of this complete and ready to upload, and rough sketch for the next two. I’ll post the first chapter once those are more fleshed out and I have a little more ready for the public.

2/7/2016 -- Update on where the heck I’ve been for the past few years

Feel free to ignore this, but I feel pretty bad for going AWOL for so long with no apparent reason, so if you want to know what’s been going on, here it is.

My family’s been through a lot of crap in the past few years. We lost my grandfather and aunt to cancer after long uphill battles, and that really took a toll on us because they were integral parts of our family. Cancer is some awful shit, guys; it’s hard to watch people you love waste away in pain and not be able to do anything about it. Then my nana got pneumonia, and for a bit it looked like she would be next.

Not too long after that, I got mono (yes, the kissing disease, though I hadn’t been kissing anybody). Before that could even be diagnosed I caught the flu from my mom, and together those two caused a disease called ‘Deconditioning Syndrome.’ It’s extremely rare in people my age, usually only affecting the elderly and disabled, so diagnosing and treating that was buckets of fun, and for a while I was scared that I would be next. I missed a whole semester of school and couldn’t do anything besides sit around and sleep.

Once I recovered form that, my best friend’s mom, who is pretty much a second mother to me, got breast cancer, and I was walking side by side with them through that fight. That was rough, especially after my own experiences with the disease. Thankfully, she survived, and has been cancer free ever since.

After that it was my senior year, and I’ll just tell you all that at least for me, yes it is as crazy and hectic as they say it is.

Now, however, things have died down, I’m settled into college and absolutely loving it. The nursing program is rough, and I’ve heard that the last two to three years of college are going to be hell, but I really miss writing. I might not be the fastest at updating, but I intend to keep writing and posting for as long as I can. Hang in there with me, guys.

So, I’m new to this. Not just fanfiction, but writing for other people in general. I’m the only one that’s ever read my stuff before, so I’m a little nervous to see what people think about my writing. I’m not asking you to be gentle and lie to me if (WHEN) you review, because I won’t learn and grow that way, but I do ask that you aren’t unnecessarily rude and harsh. Tell me what you really think, but if you don’t like it tell me why. Disparaging remarks and derogatory criticism don’t help me improve. And above all, that’s what I want: To become a better writer.
