That night, Stitch followed the four up a stairway to a hammock. A mother duck walked by and quacked to her ducklings as they all walked by. Including little Quacker as he showed up.
"I don't think we've ever met before." He said as he saw Stitch. "You haven't seen my pal Jerry have you?"
Stitch pointed to the hammock he was seen with Tom and Lilo and Nani.
"I'm sorry." Said Nani. "It's just too much."
"Don't worry." Said Jerry. "You're as nice as we've all seen."
"True. Someday you'll find an even better job than your last one." Said Tom.
Quacker and Stitch watched as Nani sang to them. Except for Quacker, Stitch was really take by that song. They then watched as Nani and Lilo held onto the flowers on their heads before sending the off in the wind.
"I wonder how Jerry managed to get along with that pussy cat." Quacker said to himself.
Stitch shook his head. It was clear he didn't want to explain about how it happened.
(!)
In Lilo's room, Tom and Jerry and Stitch looked at the photo kept under her pellow. It showed her and Nani and two other people.
"Are these your parents?" Jerry asked.
"They were." Lilo answered. "It was a rainy day and they went for a drive to the store until they died in an accident. What happened to your families?"
"Except my nephew Nibbles and Tom's nephew who's afraid of mice, we've never know much about our families." Jarry answered.
"Jerry and I once lived in a farm house and Kanses." Said Tom. "We never got to know everything about both of our families. We've been enemies for years until I chased him and a duckling here which was days before the night we got ran over."
"What about you Stitch?" Jerry asked. "Where's your family? I know that's why you reck things and why you threw us on Cobru. Do you miss them?"
"My family is little now." Said Lilo. "And we don't have many toys. If you three want. You can be part of it."
"Of course we are." Said Tom. "After you bought us at the shelter, me and Jerry seamed to get to know each other a bit more."
"And by the looks of it, we're getting along very well." Said Jerry. "Truth and friends Tom?"
"Truth and friends."
Stitch looked at the ugly ducking book before walking to the window.
"Ohama means family." Said Tom.
"Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten." Said Jerry.
"If you wanna leave and find your family Stitch, we won't stop you." Said Lilo.
"You were there when all of us got ran over by those trucks." Said Tom.
"We will never forget you Stitch." Said Jerry.
"As I will always remember everyone else." Said Lilo.
With that said, the light was turned off and the three went to sleep. Stitch took one last look before climbing down the window and left.
He walked past Jumba and Pleakley's base camp and then into the woods. Until he stopped and looked at the ugly duckling book. He looked at the picture of him with his family. And then turned to the one where he was sad and crying as he read the speach bubble that said I'm lost.
"L...L...Lost." Stitch whispered.
He sat down as he looked at the book for a while. Until he turned to the sky.
"I'm lost." He said before he dropped down to sleep. Hoping his family will find him in the morning.
