The group yelped as they traveled through a tunnel of pink.
"This is fun!!" Prism squealed.
"No it's not!!" Blake cried, feeling as if he would throw up any moment.
"Hang on, everyone! We're coming in for a landing!" Blaze cried out.
They screamed as they came to the end of the tunnel. They landed on the ground with a thud.
"Is everyone okay?" AJ asked.
"I think so..." Ashley fluttered her wings. "But is this the place?"
"I think so," Blaze glanced at the sign, which said 'Welcome to Misty Willow'.
"Everyone, stay together. We don't know what's in here or WHO is in here." Stripes told them.
They gathered up together as they traveled through the place. The sky was surprisingly pink while the trees were either blue or purple, with white glowing butterflies flying all over.
"Wow... it's so pretty here!" Prism grinned.
"So... where do we need to go to find the seer?" AJ asked while Blaze looked at the diary.
"Seer?"
A sheep came towards them in curiosity.
"Uh, yes-- we came looking for the Seer of Misty Willows. Do you know where we can find him?" Blaze wondered.
"I do!" the sheep nodded and smiled. "What are your names?"
"I'm Blaze, and these are my friends. Who are you?"
"Dave," the sheep spoke with a bow. "Greetings, newcomers. Is there a reason as to why you need to see the great vampire seer?"
"We're having some trouble with two vampire sisters who wanna kill King Beejay's son, Crusher," Watts explained. "We read about him from the diary belonging to Beejay's dad, and thought the seer could help."
"Do you think you could lead us to him?" Gabby asked.
"Yes, of course! Follow me!"
Dave headed forward to lead them. They soon made it to a group of trees kept together protectively. Dave closed his eyes, and the group gasped as he shifted into an aquamarine truck with a strange swirl symbol on his side.
"Whoa... how did you do that?" Isis asked.
"I am a shapeshifter," Dave smiled. "I shift into forms to guard the Misty Willows from dangerous beings,"
"Well, you have no worries about us-- we're really friendly," AJ assured. "But uh... isn't this just a bunch of trees grouped together."
"Yes, it is to protect us from dangerous beings, for a Seer's power can be used for the greater good or for the great evil," Dave's expression darkened. "Same as it is for the abilities of the shapeshifter,"
"Yeesh... that's dark. So... will the Seer help us?" Scarlet asked.
"We will see,"
Dave's eyes glowed yellow. Suddenly, the trees glowed as well, forming an entrance.
"Whoa-ho-ho! I so gotta learn to do that once I get my magic!" Yza giggled.
"Come with me."
Dave offered a tire. They all held onto it before they entered.
They soon appeared in the middle of a forest, where the trees where of different colors while birds and butterflies sang around in harmony.
"Wow... it's beautiful!" Blaze gasped.
"Mama!!"
They turned to see a young male dark green truck with red eyes zoom towards them. Dave opened his tires out, meeting the boy's own tires before picking him up.
"Hey, River," he spoke. "Look, we have guests,"
"Guests?!" Little River squealed. "Yay!"
"Aww, who's this sweetheart?" Starla smiled.
"I'm River!" the boy giggled. "I'm Vampire Shapeshifter Seer!"
"In training, in all of it," Dave chuckled.
"Nice to meet you, River," Blaze smiled.
"Good to meet new friends!" River laughed. "Mama, should I tell Papa we have guests?!"
"Yes, they're actually here to see him,"
"Okay, Mama!"
With that, the little boy turned into a bat and flew off, towards the nearby house.
"How old is he?" AJ asked as they followed after him.
"190 years, barely 2 centuries old," Dave spoke with a chuckle. "That's as young as 7 year old in mortal years,"
"Whoa... didn't expect that," Darington said, wide eyed. "But, that's really neat! So, um... just wanna ask for our protection-- is this seer... nice?"
"Depends on his mood," Dave laughed. "No, no, just kidding. He is. Can be moody, but he's nice. Sarcastic but nice,"
"Phew... what a relief..."
"Papa!! We have guests!!" River called.
"Send them in, please, son."
"Okay!" River nodded and turned. "Papa say you can come in!"
"Thanks, River," Stripes smiled.
Dave helped them inside. The house looked small and humble as they entered to find a truck laying down on the sofa. Dave shook his head and drove forward.
"Get up, lazy," he chuckled.
"Nooo, I'm sleepyyyy…" the truck groaned, rolling off the sofa. "Predicting the future is tiring…"
"I know, I know, but THEY might need your help," Dave motioned to the group.
"Um... excuse me, are you the vampire seer of Misty Willows?" Blaze asked.
"Yes, I am," the truck sighed. "Please, just call me Christiano," he picked himself up from the ground. "I know I look like a mess, but eh, I'm about 1967 years old, so meh, age catches up to me,"
"Oh, okay... Christiano," Stripes cleared his throat. "We need your help with a problem."
"What is it?" Christiano asked.
"Well, the vampire sisters Mika and Ara are attacking King Beejay's castle in hopes of killing his half-vampire son and our friend, Crusher," Watts explained.
"We're trying to help them as best we can," Darington said. "The king even gave us a little vampire magic, but not enough to make us vampires fully."
"Ah, no wonder you smell of vampire despite being mortals," Christiano chuckled.
"But, we have no idea what the sisters' weaknesses are, and when Blaze and these darlin' foals and fillies found the king's dad's diary, we thought we would come to you for help," Starla went on.
"You found King Antreus's Diary?" Christiano. "Ah, I remember Antreus quite well, grew up with him even. I see his son got the destiny I knew he would get, though what of the mortal mother, might I ask?"
"She was... killed by the mortals of Transylvania when Crusher was a baby," Blaze sighed sadly.
"We really wanna help stop the sisters," Ashley said, "but we don't know how. Can you... can you help us? Please?"
"I'll see what I can do," Christiano chuckled, patting Ashley's head. "but as I remember from my past visions, only the almighty vampire can stop rouge vampires,"
"Almighty… vampire?" Blaze repeated.
"I mean, the hybrid. Your friend," Christiano spoke. "Oh boy, um… River, be a dear and fetch my crystal please,"
"Yes, Papa!"
River zoomed off and came back with a crystal ball. Christiano got it and set it down on the table.
"W-What's this for, mister?" Moondust asked, fluttering over.
"To see the past, the present, the future, the hidden and the revealed," Christiano smiled.
"Wait wait, back up," Darington said. "I'm confused. Crusher? An almighty vampire? But... isn't he only HALF a vampire?"
"A being with both mortal and vampire abilities is considered powerful, explaining his ability to create inventions," Christiano spoke. "And he has so much more abilities that he either doesn't share or he doesn't know,"
"Like what?"
"We will see,"
Christiano hovered his hands over the crystal ball. It soon showed kid Crusher driving around the forest, playing with some animals.
"Aww, is that Crusher when he was little?" Blaze smiled.
"He's so cute!" Pickle cooed.
"Cute but alone, living with nothing but the forest and animals himself," Christiano sighed. "I tried to warn King Antreus his grandchild's future… but he didn't listen,"
"He must have gotten really lonely..." AJ hissed.
"Yes…" Christiano sighed once more. "That's why I stopped watching him through this. It was too painful to watch,"
"So... what happened after the whole burning of the first castle thing?" Stripes asked.
"Crusher was set left in the woods. Dave and I wanted to get him, but some mortals found him before we could," Christiano snarled. "They place him in an orphanage then threw him out after a few days,"
"Why would they do that?!" Skydance gasped.
"Found out his DNA and threw him out towards some kind of prison, somewhere in the forest, where we couldn't get to him," Dave shuddered.
"Oh... poor Crusher..." Yza whimpered, ears flattening. "I'm sorta scared to ask... w-w-what happened next?"
"After a while, we lost sight of him, but we managed to catch some of the abilities he did," Christiano turned to the crystal ball. "Did you know that he could bring animals back from the dead? Only animals, though,"
"Really? How?" Stripes exclaimed.
"I don't know," Christiano let out a chuckle. "That is what I meant by unexplainable abilities of the almighty vampire,"
"When did you finally get sight of him again?" AJ asked.
"At his 18th birthday," Christiano sighed. "He died that night."
"Oh... that explains why he started acting so strange the day afterwards!" Starla realized.
"Okay, we know what happened to him, but that doesn't give any guidance on how we can stop the sisters," Watts said.
"Mika and Ara are powerful princesses of the vampire world, stopping them can only be done by a vampire more powerful than them," Christiano answered.
"And... that's Crusher, right?" Pickle guessed.
"Exactly." Dave nodded.
"So... all we need to do is get him to master those unidentified powers, and he'll defeat the sisters no sweat?" Blake guessed.
"Ha! That sounds easy!" Camille grinned.
"Do you think you could help him, Mr. Christiano, sir?" Skydance asked.
"I am old, too old to leave the Misty Willows," Christiano spoke.
"Too old and lazy, idiot," Dave kissed his cheek. But also, it's not safe for a seer to be out in the open. Mortals might know,"
"But... what if we bring Crusher here?" Blaze asked.
"That could work," Dave nodded.
"Yeah! And his dad too! They could be protected!" Yza agreed.
"Pickle, think you can use your wand to teleport them here?" asked Watts.
"I can try-"
"Wait." Dave drove forward to stop the green truck. "I appreciate the enthusiasm but how about this; what if the sisters find out about this place?"
"Ooh... good point... the sisters would be attacking this place if they found out!" Stripes agreed.
"So... what can we do?" Blaze asked.
"Hmm…" Christiano glanced at them. "Since each of you have the power of vampires, I assume one of you can be a seer as well,"
"Really?" Zeg looked surprised.
"Yes," Christiano nodded and raised his tire. "Crystal ball, to you would you go? Choose your next wielder!"
The crystal ball hovered over the group, glancing at each and every one of them. It soon rested above Darington's head, swirling over him.
"Wait... me?!"
"It seems the crystal ball has chosen you, indeed," Christiano nodded with a chuckle.
"Darry, that's incredible!" Blaze exclaimed.
"I-I-I-I guess, but... what if I'm not cut out for the SEER type?"
"What makes you say that?" Christiano asked.
"Well... I don't always land on all four tires-- what if I mess up?"
"You may, you may not, but the crystal ball sees your future, and it knows that you will be able to be the future seer, and it's future wielder," Christiano smiled.
"Well... okay. I guess I can try."
"And AJ and I will help you out!" Blaze smiled, wrapping a tire around his boyfriend.
"If that's okay with you," AJ smiled.
"More than okay, yes!" Darington smiled in relief. "So... what do I have to do to be a seer exactly?"
"Practice," Christiano chuckled before getting smacked by his husband. "GAH!"
"Idiot, you're no help," Dave huffed before smiling. "You need to first learn how to hold the ball properly. When you get used to it, the power of the seer will come to you naturally,"
"Well... okay... how do I hold it again?" Darington got the ball with his tires. "Like this…?"
"Yes, yes," Christiano nodded. "Now don't drop it."
"Uh, okay..."
"So, what do we do in the meantime?" Camille asked. "I mean, Darington is gonna be a seer, Crusher is a vampire prince... what about the rest of us?"
"Yeah! I wanna have a special job too!" Scarlet said, sighing before laying on the floor.
"Well, every palace has two shapeshifting guards," Dave recalled. "It's to protect the future king when necessary,"
"Ooh-ooh! I wanna do that!" Skydance said, and jumped trying to pounce on Blake, but AJ caught her. "Huh?"
"Sorry, Skydance, but I think you and the foals are a liiiitle too young to do that job," AJ giggled.
"But... who would be fit for that kind of job?"
Dave's eyes flashed gold before he released two magical bursts of magic. They hovered in the air and over their heads. The magic soon showered over Blaze and Stripes.
"It chose us!" Blaze smiled and high-tired Stripes excitedly.
"So, what do we have to do to control these new powers?" Stripes asked.
"Practice, patience and help," Dave spoke. "Return to the castle and share what you have learned,"
"You got it!" Blaze smiled. "Pickle, mind doing the honors of transporting us back to the palace?"
"Wouldn't mind at all!"
"Bye!" Yza waved to their new friends. "Thanks for your help!"
"Hope we see you again soon!" Scarlet called.
And with a wave and a poof, they arrived back at the castle.
