Hey...So I know this is the last thing you guys want to see but I think I need to address something regarding the story, and here it is.
...Season 1 of Amphibia is just okay. Everyone knows this, but season one was slow going. I wanted to save this for when we got to part 2 but it needs to be said right now considering what's going on.
As we all know, Season 3 premiered and they just released the trailer for it, and it was amazing. As I was writing episode 4's script, I started feeling bored, well not bored, but I started feeling a little...eh, which is something I don't want to happen with this story.
The main problem is I don't want to write chapters where Sora feels like a side character. I want him and the others to go through character arcs like our main heroines. I know the whole point of Season 1 was for Anne to grow and become better while also fleshing out some of the background characters and giving them all distinct personalities, but again, it was slow going and didn't do anything for the plot, for the most part.
I keep thinking about all the stuff for Part 2, because that's when things in this story get heated, and True Colors...you will not believe what I have planned for that. I still want to do episodes from season 1, but only certain ones where Sora can get a new power and learn more about the Keyblade as a result.
I'm not doing that thing in anime where the studio cuts out important stuff, but I do want to focus on certain episodes where it focuses on the main plot or developing certain characters, keyword being "CERTAIN" (obviously, episodes 10 and 20 are excluded).
I'm still doing episode 4 because that's where Sora gets a new magic ability and where we get a look on how things are going back home with Sora's family, but you guys know what I'm talking about.
I might do a Reincarnated as a Slime thing and make a side story where the characters talk about their many escapades with the villagers as like a slice of life ordeal. The name could be, "KH: The Amphibia Chronicles" or something like that.
I really hope you guys understand this and I hope you can tell me what episodes and parts of episodes to focus on so that way I won't bore you guys and keep the story moving forward.
SN: I'm making OP's for the story and I already have an idea for the 1st half and 2nd half of season 1, and the first half of season 2. They're: ADAMAS, Dreamin' On, and Storyteller. If you guys have any ideas for OP's for season 2's second half and season 3 let me know.
