"Dad! Papa!"

Crusher hugged them tightly, tears streaking down his cheeks.

"Are you guys okay? Do you need anything? Where are Mika and Ara? I'm so sorry... I should have stayed behind!"

"No! No, no…" Beejay hissed, wincing. "It's good that you didn't. Things… went pretty bad,"

"Your highness, can you heal them?" asked Blaze, who reverted to his normal self upon landing.

"I can attempt to," Jamie spoke, her tires swirling as green magic came out.

The magic swirled around, clearing away most of the blood. It left scars, but they were pretty healed up.

Xander sighed in relief and turned. "Thank you, Jamie,"

"Ugh…" Beejay fell on his tires. "We… have good news and bad news!"

"Good news first, please, sire," Darington gulped.

"Good news! Ara is dead!"

"Awesome!" AJ high tired Blaze.

"Wait... what about Mika?" Stripes wondered.

"Mika dead too?" Zeg asked.

"That's where the bad news comes in," Beejay hissed. "She's not dead, and she's actually angrier now that he'd sister's dead,"

"So... what do we do now?" Watts asked.

"Yeah! We can't let her take over your kingdom!" Darington protested.

"She isn't, but she left a mess in the kingdom, difficult to clean without energy," Beejay sighed. "And I… I'm drained from the fight…"

"You stay here and rest, Dad," Crusher said. "I'm sure the fairies will look after you."

"What are we gonna do?" AJ asked.

"We need to find a way to access all my vampire powers," Crusher said. "The more power I use, the better off I think we might be."

"Xander, is there any way we could do that?" Blaze asked.

"Yes, there is, but… it might overwhelm you, Crusher," Xander frowned.

"Whatever it is, I'll do it," Crusher stood firm. "As future king, it's my duty to protect my subjects, no matter what the cost. And besides, I have all my friends/honorary family to help me. So... I'll do it."

"If that… is what you want…" Xander hissed and nodded. "Come, we need a private place to do that,"

"Uhh okay…"

Crusher nodded and followed after Xander, heading out to the garden as Beejay laid down on the floor, tired.

"You rest, your majesty," Blaze said. "Is there anything we can do for you?"

"Just… watch over and help Crusher while I rest…" Beejay told them.

"We will. Come on, AJ. Let's follow them."

The duo headed off to follow. They soon reached the garden, where Xander held out a wand and a knife in his tires.

"A wand? And a knife? What is Xander doing?" AJ wondered.

"Papa?" Crusher asked.

"Your magic comes from your blood, so to unlock your magic by force, we're going need to cut," Xander hissed. "Let me show you,"

He leaned the knife towards his skin and sliced a bit. Blood soon seeped out, and Xander didn't waste time to wave his wand over it. The blood glowed a bright neon green, and Xander began to glow, eyes pure white as he floated. His wings expanded, looking spikier and more demonic as he flew above Crusher.

Crusher's eyes widened, gasping. "P-Papa...?"

"What's happening...?" AJ asked in a whisper.

"I don't know..." Blaze hissed, watching as Xander fly down towards Crusher.

"AJ, you better not look."

AJ gulped and held his hands over his eyes as Xander's mouth opened to reveal blood coming out from within. Crusher jumped back, shaking.

"P-Papa?!"

Xander held himself back, shaking his head as he reverted his form back to his normal form.

"W-W-What are you doing...?" Crusher gulped.

"I... ugh..." Xander's eyes returned to normal as his wings retracted. "Sorry, the... the ultimate form that you want... it's difficult to control it..."

"Ultimate form?"

"The form you need to stop Mika," Xander sighed. "You will need to use your ultimate form,"

"It... it won't make me hurt you, or Dad or my friends... will it?"

"No promises..." Xander sighed.

"But... you and Dad can help me control it... right?"

"We can try," Xander offered a smile.

"Okay..."

"Xander...?"

Blaze and AJ came out of hiding, looking rather worried and unsure.

"Oh, Blaze, AJ," Xander smiled. "What are you doing here?"

"Beejay wanted us to help Crusher as much as we could. Uh... what would this ultimate form consist of?"

"His full vampire self, for starters," Xander replied.

"Is there any way we can help?" AJ asked. "Maybe we can take some power ourselves, so Crusher wouldn't be as wild."

"Or maybe there's a spell or something to give us other kinds of powers," Blaze said. "We know what Crusher said before, it being his duty as future king and all, but over the course of the last week or so, we've grown closer. Like brothers. And family always stick up for one another. If there's any way we can help, we have to try."

"Well... taking some of his power won't be an option, lest you want to weaken him," Xander spoke. "As for the powers... hmm..." He sighed. "It won't be easy,"

"But... there's a way for the rest of them to get powers too?" Crusher wondered.

"Yes," Xander nodded.

"W-What is it?" Blaze asked.

"Magic transfer through blood. Risky but the most effective," Xander sighed. "We don't know how safe it is,"

"We have to try something," Blaze said firmly.

"Oh..." Crusher frowned, turning to Blaze. "You... would you risk that much...?"

"Of course," Blaze smiled. "You may cheat in races and everything, but we still care. You're as much of a sibling to us as the rest of the gang is."

"Then this'll be a difficult procedure," Xander told him. "We need to gather everyone,"

"AJ, you go get them, and I'll stay here. But... keep the foals and fillies with Beejay, Joy and the queen. We... we can't let them see."

"Okay!" AJ nodded and ran inside.

"Blaze, I... I can't believe you would still risk all your accomplishments and the rest of your life for me..." Crusher said quietly, turning to the red truck. "What if we can't undo the magic once this is all over?"

"Then so be it," Blaze smiled.

Crusher couldn't help but smile and embrace the red truck tight.

"Thanks, buddy. This means a lot."

A few moments later, everyone (except the fairies, the foals and fillies and Beejay) were gathered.

"Now, Blaze and AJ, are you sure you want to do this?" Starla asked.

"Crusher may have been a jerk to us before, but that's all in the past, Starla," Blaze told her firmly. "AJ and I will do anything to help him. He's our family as much as you guys are."

The others looked at each other before realizing they were right.

He was like family.

And family always stood by one another.

"Okay... if you're sure," Darington said. "But... magic or not, you'll still be my one true B."

"Thanks, Darry," Blaze smiled, kissing his lover.

"We're ready, Xander," AJ took a breath. "Tell us what we need to do."

Xander held out a knife. "Start with a little cut,"

"Uh... okay..."

Blaze took the knife and slowly cut his skin, causing him to wince. AJ did the same, blood sipping out.

"Well done." Xander held out his tires, swirling it around as green and red magic appeared. "Now hold still…"

"You got this, guys..." Pickle said softly with a smile.

"We believe in you..." Darington agreed as Watts nodded.

Blaze and AJ took a deep breath as the magic surrounded them, closing their eyes as it sipped through their cuts. A burning sensation came, causing them to yelp.

"Oh man, that burns!" AJ hissed.

"But we have to keep strong," Blaze groaned. "For Crusher, Beejay and Xander."

They closed their eyes and tried their hardest to bare the pain. The magic seeped inside of each of them as Blaze's skin flashed different colors.

"Uh... is that supposed to happen?"

"Yes," Xander nodded as he concentrated.

The magic made AJ's glow the same colour as they were lifted into the sky.

"Oh... on second thought, Zeg no wanna watch!" the dino truck whimpered, covering his eyes.

The magic then pierced inside of them, doubling the pain.

"Come on, AJ, we have to keep going!" Blaze strained through the pain.

The pain was burning but the duo kept going, hissing as the glow got brighter.

"Come on, guys! You can do it!" Crusher encouraged.

The glow was super bright now. Xander used up the last of his magic before he fainted.

"Papa!" Crusher gasped, rushing over to him.

"The… spell…" Xander panted. "It's… done…" he spoke before losing consciousness.

"Stripes, Zeg, take him back to the castle. We'll check on Blaze and AJ."

Stripes and Zeg nodded and helped Xander to the palace. Crusher hissed and stared up to see Blaze and AJ floating down on the grass, unconscious as they landed.

"Blaze? AJ?"

"Ugh…" Blaze hissed as he forced himself up. "What happened...? Did the spell work?"

Crusher was unsure until Blaze opened his eyes, which was no longer ocean blue. Instead they were purple, a bright silky purple with black slits.

"Well, considering that your eyes are purple now, I guess they did."

"They are?"

"Hmm?" AJ opened his own eyes to reveal gold eyes. "Woah, Blaze your eyes are purple!"

"And your eyes are gold! W-What kinds of powers did that spell give us?"

"Maybe you should test it tomorrow," Crusher suggested. "You look tired,"

"Way tired..." AJ yawned, but when he tried to get up, he was so weak, he couldn't stand.

"Come on, I'll use my wand to lift you both to bed," Pickle offered.

He lifted the duo up before heading back to the palace where the fillies and foals waited for them with Joy.

"You're back! We missed you!" Ashley said.

"Is everything okay?" Blake asked.

"We're fine, guys," Blaze said, trying to smile.

"They're just tired," Gabby told them.

"W-Why do your eyes look so different?" Skydance asked.

"Uhh…"

"We'll explain in the morning," Crusher told them. "For now, they really just need their rest,"

"Yes, Crusher..." the foals and fillies said obediently.

And so, Pickle carried the duo back to their rooms.

"See you guys in the morning!" Pickle called before the door closed.

Crusher smiled. He kissed Pickle on the forehead.

"I… I'm gonna take a flight out, okay?"

"Okay, but be careful."

"I will," Crusher turned into a bat and took off into the skies.

Pickle watched him before he rejoined the others that waited in the throne room.

"Wow... that was some magic Xander did on the boys," Watts said. "I hope the spell isn't gonna hurt them."

"I hope Mr. Xander is okay himself," Starla hissed.

"He went out on a night flight," Pickle assured them.

"Alone? What if Mika finds where we are?!" Darington asked.

"I, uh, I'm sure he'll be careful," Pickle gulped.

"Maybe someone should keep an eye on him," Stripes said.

"But who else can either turn into a bat or… wait, Stripes, you're a shapeshifter! You can do it!" Pickle huffed. "Also, you're supposed to be bodyguard too,"

"Right... okay, here goes!"

Stripes shifted his form and turned into a bat with purple stripes all over.

"Hurry, Stripes!" Yza urged.

Stripes flew off, balancing himself first to fly and find Crusher.

"Come on, Crusher... where are you...?"

He soon found him at some trees nearby.

"Crusher, there you are!"

"Stripes?" Crusher turned to see the other land beside him.

"You shouldn't go on night flights without someone, buddy-- Mika could find you."

"I… I know," Crusher sighed. "I just… needed some peace for a while,"

"Wanna talk about it?"

"I… It's just that…" Crusher sighed. "Dad and Papa are down. Blaze and AJ need rest. And I… I'm the one who's supposed to stop Mika. It's all too much,"

"You won't be alone. We'll all help."

"I know, but… what if Mika hurts you all too?!"

"She won't."

"We don't know that." Crusher hissed. "She could! She might…"

"Hey, we need to focus on positives too," Stripes said, holding him. "We'll get all the wisdom and guidance we need from Beejay and Xander, and we'll be fine."

"That's another thing…" Crusher began to tear. "What if Mika gets to the too…?"

"I'm sure they'll be fine," Stripes assured him. "Stop thinking negative, please, Crusher,"

"I... I'll try..." Crusher sighed and nodded.

"Now come on, let's head back,"

"Good idea-- it's almost day time."

"Race you back?" Stripes smirked.

"Oh-ho, it's on!"

The two lifted themselves up and flew back to the palace at top speed. Meanwhile, the group were playing with the bored fillies and foals. back at the palace.

"When are Blaze and AJ gonna wake up?" Starcatcher asked.

"Maybe tomorrow," Starla offered an answer. "We just need ta let 'em rest,"

"But... I miss them..." Starcatcher laid her head down at her hooves.

"I know you do, but don't worry, they'll be alright and back to playing with you soon," Watts patted her head gently.

"Maybe we should take a snooze too, sis," Parker suggested.

"I guess..."

"Good idea," Darington yawned. "Maybe we should all turn in for the night,"

"Good night, guys," Ashley yawned, and they all headed off to their rooms.

They all headed to their rooms just as Crusher and Stripes arrived.

"Wanna head in for the night?" Stripes asked they both turned back to normal.

"You go ahead, I... I don't feel like sleeping," Crusher told him.

"Okay... just don't stay up too late."

With that, Stripes headed to his room. Crusher sighed and headed around the halls to explore. He went through the halls, driving around. He found the room Beejay was staying in and peeked inside to see Xander and Beejay on the bed.

"Dad... Papa..."

Crusher drove towards them. They looked so peaceful. A little weakened but still peaceful.

With a heavy sigh, he left the room and headed through the halls once more.

"What if I'm not strong enough to battle her...?" he hissed, shutting his eyes as he made it to the balcony. He glanced up at the moon and sighed. "Mom... I'm so sorry... I'm letting everyone down..."
