Meanwhile...

"Where did those pesky vampires go?!" Mika roared out, flying out and about. She tried her hardest to track their scents but to no avail. "Nothing... where would they go if they wanted to evade me? I've tried everywhere else!"

She snarled and glanced around more. She soon noticed the waterfall and smirked. "Aha! Thought you could escape from be, Beejay darling? Think again!"

She flew into the waterfall, quick and steady. She found the tunnel and headed through, only to be met by a sparkled gate.

"What?!" she snarled.

"You may not enter!" A fairy guard cried, coming out from the shadows to face her.

"I don't believe you know who I am," Mika chuckled. "I am a princess! Now, if you let me in, I'll see about not drinking YOUR blood!"

"We fear you not!" Another guard came, holding out a cross with garlic on it. "Begone, demon!"

"Ack!" Mika hissed.

The smell of the revolting garlic was strong, but Mika knew she had to be stronger to claim her prize. She released a roar, breaking the cross. One guard threw holy water at her, causing her to sizzle and yelp. But, she knew she had to be stronger than anything these guards threw at her, so... she would have to use all of her power against them. Her eyes glowed red before she attacked one of the guards. The other gasped and ran back to the palace to get help.

"Your majesty! Your majesty!"

"What is the matter?" Jamie stood up in alarm.

"It's Mika! Somehow she has found her way here!"

"MIKA?!?" In came Crusher, who dashed as quickly as he could.

"Wake the mortals, Beejay and Xander," the queen instructed. "We must get the prince, the mortals and foals and fillies to safety."

"No..." Crusher said, stopping the guard. "She wants me. Take care of my friends and family. I'll deal with her."

"Are you sure, Prince Crusher?" Jamie asked worriedly.

"I've been causing so much pain since I got here. Xander got stabbed because of me, they both got injured because of me... it's only right that I take on Mika and get it over with. The vampire kingdom doesn't need me. They need my father. Tell Blaze and AJ to use their powers to protect the foals and fillies. Just... leave Mika to me."

"..." Jamie didn't know what to say as Crusher turned and headed off to face Mika.

But, before Crusher could get to where Mika was, he used what his father taught him, and placed a forcefield around the palace to protect everyone and keep them inside.

From inside, Pickle saw the force field and gasped. "Oh no... EVERYONE!! WAKE UP!!! HURRY!!!"

They all were alarmed and ran out. Beejay and Xander also woke up and gasped at the force field.

"Where did that come from?" Beejay hissed.

"Crusher made it!" Pickle exclaimed. "He must be going to take on Mika alone!"

"Can either one of y'all get rid of it?" Starla asked.

"Unfortunately not. When a vampire forcefield is made, no other vampire can get rid of it," Xander explained.

"But could there be a weak spot?" Stripes asked.

"My guard did a flight around it-- no weak spot in sight," Jamie sighed as she approached. "Crusher must have made it extra strong to protect those he loves from harm."

"What do we do now?" Pickle whimpered.

"Crusher said to wake Blaze and AJ, and have them protect the young pegasi and unicorns while the rest of you hide in other areas of the palace."

"I guess we could do that," Darington gulped up at the force field.

But, unbeknowest to them, from the room Blaze and AJ were staying in, Starcatcher heard everything, and her ears flattened.

Crusher was going to face the princess on his own?

And there was nothing they could do to stop him?

He was the first to show her any kindness, and now she was gonna lose him?

That broke her heart.

Pickle and Stripes were heading to Blaze and AJ's room when they heard cries from within. They opened to see Starcatcher near the door.

"Starcatcher, what's the matter?"

"Is... Is it true...?" she whimpered. "Is Crusher going to face Mika...?"

"Y-Yes, sweetie, but he's doing it to save all of us," Stripes hesitantly answered.

"But... he'll get hurt! I know he will! And there's nothing we can do to save him!"

"I'm sure he'll be fine," Pickle forced a grin as he petted her.

"But... I know Mika too well... he's gonna die, isn't he...?"

At this, Pickle and Stripes honestly didn't know how to respond.

She already expierienced the death of her mother... how could she deal with the death of one of the first people to ever show her kindness?

"Well, uh…" Stripes gulped before whispering. "Uhh Pickle, what to say?"

"I don't know..."

"Guys?"

Stripes and Pickle looked up to see Blaze slowly getting up, his purple eyes fluttering open.

"Oh hey Blaze!" Pickle greeted.

"W-What's going on? And where's Xander? I was hoping he could teach me and AJ to use our powers."

"He… uh…" Pickle gulped. "Mika's here,"

"Wait, what?!" Blaze gasped, getting up. "Where's Crusher? We need to get out of here!"

"He went to go fight Mika!" Starcatcher blurt out.

"And he placed a force field around the palace too," Stripes sighed.

"W-What is he doing? He's gonna get himself killed!" AJ exclaimed, being woken up by Blaze's cry.

"I don't think he cares if he did," Pickle whimpered.

"All he said for you two to do was use your new powers to protect everyone," Stripes said.

"We might as well go to Xander and figure out how to do that..." AJ said, touching Blaze's shoulder.

They all got up to find Beejay and Xander in panic. Well, Beejay almost in complete panic.

"Beejay, we heard what was going on. What can we do?" AJ asked.

"Save my baby boy!" Beejay hissed.

"You know they can't." Xander hissed, holding him. "The Force Field is too strong!"

"My son…" Beejay whimpered.

"Beejay, I promise, we'll do whatever we can," Blaze said, rubbing the vampire king's shoulder. "But we need Xander to teach me and AJ how to use our powers to do that."

"Alright," Xander pushed the other off of him. "He'll teach later when he calms,"

"I hope Crusher knows what he's doing..." AJ gulped.

Crusher hissed as he drove towards where Mika was. He could smell her scent nearby, so he had to be wary.

"Mika? Can you come here? I don't wanna fight you, I... just wanna talk."

Mika's blood red eyes pierced from the shadows. She scowled.

"The prince..." She walked forward, eyes gleaming as she snarled. "What do you want?"

"To talk." Crusher repeated. "My father wasn't happy with you, and you know that. And I know you were angry that he got together with my mother instead of you."

"Yes, then he got together with XANDER!!" Mika snarled. "I mean, yes, it would've made more sense if they got together first, but the fact that he is MINE! He is MINE!! And your mother took him away from me!!"

"But, let me ask something-- did you even ask my father what HE wanted?"

"Does it even matter?" Mika huffed.

"Well, for a relationship to work, you both need to be happy. If one of you isn't happy, it'll lead to a rocky relationship."

"The woman is always right!" Mika yelled. "So if I'm happy, so would he!"

"But, it wasn't what he wanted. How would you feel if you were forced into a relationship YOU didn't want?"

"Oh, that can't be," Mika smirked. "Anyone who tries to not do what I say dies too quickly to even breathe."

"But... why did you keep trying to get to my dad even when you knew he didn't love you anymore? Doesn't... anyone love you?"

"My sister did, but look where she is now thanks to your father." Mika snarled.

"And I'm really sorry about that," Crusher said. "But... you may have done awful things to me, my dad and Xander, but I don't hate you."

"Well, you should." Mika snarled, towering over him.

"Maybe... if you apologize for hurting us, maybe my dad will forgive you."

"NO! BEEJAY HURT ME FIRST!!" Mika roared out. "I was supposed to be QUEEN!! DADDY PROMISED ME THE THRONE! I WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET IT!!"

"Just think about it-- you're already queen of your domain. Isn't that enough?"

"NO! I'M A DUCHESS!!" Mika roared out. "I'm still inferior to Beejay and Xander!! And that… that other father of yours doesn't deserve to marry Beejay!"

"You're wrong. He does. But, you can't seem to get that it takes more than power to be the queen."

"And I suppose YOU know what does?" Mika huffed. "He's not even a real Vampire! He's turned!"

"It doesn't matter. What matters is that they're in love. Something you don't seem to understand."

"Of course I don't. Vampires don't 'love'." Mika snarled. "We're vicious and cruel. Never love."

"Then you're the wrong kind of vampire, Mika. Maybe I coud teach you HOW."

Mika held out a blade. "I don't need to be taught by some hybrid freak!"

She attacked, already sick of the conversation as she tried to stab him. Crusher hissed and jumped back from the blade.

"Mika, I can help you! So can my father! But you have to stop ruling with abuse!"

"How do you think our family rules?" Mik grinned.

Crusher was in an inner conflict, trying to figure out what he should say next.

What was the use? Mika showed no sign of backing down.

Mika repeatedly tried stabbing and attacking as the other dodged. So... Crusher decided there was only one thing left to do.

"F-Fine... kill me. But you have to leave them all alone."

"No promises, dear," Mika cackled.

"Well, Mom... I-I'm coming to join you..." Crusher closed his eyes as he felt the knife being raised…

Meanwhile, Xander had thought Blaze on how to fly with powers without shifting.

"Whoa! This is cool!" Blaze giggled as he flipped multiple times.

"This too!' AJ laughed as he teleported from here and there.

"You're both really learning quickly," Xander smiled, pleased.

"I just hope we can help Crusher before it's too late," AJ sighed.

"Me too..." Blaze agreed with a heavy heart.

"I'm sure we'll be able to get to him, right…?"

"Perhaps…" Xander muttered, even he was unsure.

"Xander... if we don't get to him in time... will we be blamed?"

"I… no, of course not," Xander assured them.

"But... Beejay will blame us..."

"He won't." Xander was firm this time. "He will blame himself first… then… everyone around him…"

"He won't blame you," AJ said, touching his shoulder. "He would never."

"Oh you don't know with him," Xander chuckled bitterly. "You can never predict his next actions,"

"We have to get to Crusher." Blaze hissed.

"Is there a way for us to get through the Force Field, though?" AJ asked.

"Wait... AJ, you can teleport now! You can teleport me and you outside, and defend Crusher before it's too late!"

"Okay! Let's try!"

AJ held onto Blaze's tire before their surroundings sizzled and blurred. When it cleared, they were outside of the palace.

"We made it!"

"Now, where are they...?" Blaze asked, looking around.

"SAY GOODBYE, LITTLE PRINCE!" Mika's voice echoed from nearby.

"Come on!"

They zoomed over to find Mika towering over Crusher with the blade. The duo gasped.

"Blaze, what do we do?!" AJ cried.

"We have to get Crusher away from her!" Blaze declared.

"How?" AJ hissed.

"I... uh..." Blaze gulped and glanced around. What could they do?

He took a deep breath and hovered up, flying over before dashing to attack Mika.

"Get away from him!"

"B-Blaze...?" Crusher's eyes widened as the red truck came between them.

"You really thought I would stand by when one of my brothers was sacrificing his life for us?"

"But it's dangerous!" Crusher cried.

"So? It's never stopped us before!" AJ exclaimed.

"Mika, we're giving you ONE chance to leave us all alone, or you won't like what comes next," Blaze growled.

"Go ahead, I'd like a little BLOODSHED!!" Mika laughed, taking out another blade.

She went over and tried to attack, blades blazing. Crusher stared wide eyed at the fact Blaze and AJ were putting themselves in danger for him. He hissed and took out his own blade, blocking to defend them from Mika.

"Guys, please! Go!"

"We're not leaving you with her!" Blaze cried.

"If we're leaving then so will you!"

AJ grabbed both of their tires before they all teleported away from her and to another part of the forest.

"You both shouldn't have come for me," Crusher sighed.

"You're welcome for rescuing you," Blaze chuckled.

"I was trying to see if I could get through to Mika, but... I couldn't... this is all my fault..."

"No it's not," AJ patted his back.

"Yeah," Blaze agreed. "You tried. She didn't. It's not your fault,"

"But if I had never came to Transylvania, none of you would be in danger..."

"If you didn't come then so many things wouldn't have happened, like Xander and your Dad," Blaze said.

"What are we gonna do now? She's impossible to beat!" Crusher sighed.

"We'll find a way, promise," AJ assured him.

"Everything we've already tried hasn't worked! I've put all of you in danger just cause I was too scared to activate my full power..."

"Then we'll help you activate it," AJ offered.

"Really?"

"Sure. But first, let's get you to your dad. He's been really worried about you."

"I didn't mean for him to worry…" Crusher sighed.

"Come on," Blaze smiled and held out his tire. "Hold on to me and AJ and I will fly you back."

Crusher nodded and held onto their tires and hand. Their surroundings glitched before they found themselves inside the palace.
