{insert OP 1: ADAMAS}
Memories of the original KH timeline start flashing forward until it ends with Sora and Kairi sitting on a tree.
A brief flash shows the silhouettes of six kids before it changes to them running, now clearly being shown as young versions of Sora, Kairi, Riku, Anne, Sasha, and Marcy before the camera pans up to the sky showing the title card.
"AMPHIBIAN HEARTS"
The next clip shows a place called "Scala" being built before it switches to pictures of Sasha and Riku beside it; It then does the same thing but with pictures of Sora and Anne, finally it ends with pictures of Kairi and Marcy with all the pictures now side by side with each other.
The five other pictures disappear leaving Sora who turns and runs but trips. When he lifts his head, he covers his eye and he sees visions of himself passing through his mind. Alongside them he sees people and locations he knows which ends when a blonde girl with her hair in a small ponytail looks up and the scene switches to a castle where at the top a girl in pink and black clothes removes her hood revealing herself to be an older Kairi with her hair now cut shorter as she looks over the horizon.
It then switches to a large crowned amphibious silhouette walking with strange eyes on the walls before showing two other silhouettes, one slim and one large looking behind them.
The scene changes again to a place where there was only a semi-cloudy sky and aqueous soil where a young figure in red and black clothes with his hood up, looks forward before it continually switches from a picture of the six kids, to a giant lab, a brunette woman hugging a spikey-haired brunette man, a computer with a question mark next to Sora's face, two twin girls with brown hair in small side ponytails opposite of each other sleeping together, a scientist with silverish blue hair sleeping, a thai woman with her hands to her heart, an older Riku looking behind him, and finally ending with a 13 year old Anne with her hand out and smiling.
The scene then changes to Sora twirling a key weapon before going into a battle stance with an image of the hooded figure next to him doing the same. They launch consecutive attacks on a shadow figure before they each do a slash in the opposite direction causing an explosion.
We then see the same people from earlier summoning those same weapons with the blue haired one looking forward before it switches to another castle where a small figure with big ears looks back then walks forward.
It changes again to Sora in a graveyard with millions of keys that get plunged into the barren ground.
Then, Sora and Anne do a handshake which ends with them doing a Baymax fist bump before walking down a road with their backpacks on them as the camera pans up to the sky where the sun brightens.
It then shows a castle in an unknown location where inside on the walls are images of a box in the ruler's hands with fire and destruction surrounding him with the same eyes from before.
Finally it ends with Sora dismissing his weapon and Anne putting her racket in her bag as they walk away from a scene of them as kids having fun with their friends under a tree.
THE DOMINO EFFECT
Near the Plantar home
In one part of the forest, Sprig was rolling a watermelon to a small hill while Anne was preparing to hit it with a scythe with Sora as the umpire.
"Hey batter batter, batter, batter, batter." she said while holding the scythe up like a bat.
Sprig finally made it to the top of the hill with the melon, then held it up, and threw it at Anne who tried to swing but missed causing the scythe to go flying.
"ah, whiffed it." Anne said.
"SSSTTTRRIKE!" Sora shouted.
"*gasp* Sprig!" Anne shouted
The scythe she threw was heading in Sprig's direction and though he was confused at first he had enough time to react by ducking down allowing the scythe to go farther into the woods. However it did slice his hat allowing his hair to be seen by the two.
"Wanna go again?" he asked the two.
"Yeah-ah!"
"Oh yeah! Also you have hair?" Sora said, noticing the red hair he had.
They then went into the woods to find the scythe.
"Hey there it is." Sora said.
The scythe was stuck in a tree with light shining down on it, as if it was ancient.
"I'm batting this time!" Sora said as he ran to it.
"Yeah right!" Anne said while doing the same.
They both grabbed the scythe but before they pulled it out, they heard meowing in the distance.
"Is that…?"
"Hey you guys found-"
"Shh! Do you hear something?" Anne questioned.
They listened close and heard the meowing get louder.
"A cry for help." Sora said.
"Something's in trouble." Anne said.
The three then ran to where the meowing was and found a black caterpillar under attack by giant bees while it was stuck in sap. The bees stuck their stingers in the ground as it continued meowing.
"Oh no!" Sora said.
"We have to save her." Anne said.
"Right behind ya." Sprig said while pulling out his slingshot.
"Me and Sprig will distract them, go." Sora said.
Anne nodded and went for the caterpillar. She managed to grab her and pull her out of the sap just as the stingers came down around her.
"Gotta go!" Anne said.
Before the bees gave chase, Sprig shot rocks at them while Sora tried to scare them with fire.
"Take that buzz brains! Go sting someone your own size!" Sprig said.
"What he said!"
"Let's go!" Anne said with the creature in hand.
Sprig jumped back into the bushes while Sora ran ahead with Anne. They got to the tree where the scythe was allowing them to catch their breath.
"That was close." Sora said.
"You're safe now little fella." Anne said while holding the caterpillar up.
However the second they saw her, Anne squealed while Sora widened his eyes.
"Oh. My-"
"What's wrong, is Anne stung? We'll have to amputate!" Sprig said while readying the scythe.
"No." Sora said while stopping him.
"It's the caterpillar. She looks just like my cat Domino from back home. " Anne said while using her phone to show Sprig a picture to do a comparison.
"I love my cat more than anything in the world. She was irreplaceable, but now I found a replacement." Anne said.
"I would never replace Sumo if given the chance. I mean he was the last gift I got from…." Sora said before stopping himself.
"From what?" Anne asked.
"I-it's nothing. Nevermind." he said.
"Well, come on. Let's take it home with us!" Anne said.
"Eh, I don't know Anne. That's a wild animal. I'm not sure bringing it home is a good idea." Sprig said.
"Sprig has a point. We don't know where it came from. It could be dangerous." Sora said.
"Pshh, that's ridiculous. My cat back home was a stray before I adopted her. All it takes is love and patience, and...love." Anne said.
Sora/Sprig: "you said love twice."
She then put the cat near them and it licked their faces.
"Sold!" Sprig said.
"Alright I'm in." Sora said.
"It's settled." Anne said as she put the critter on the ground.
"I hereby dub thee, "Domino 2." Anne said while using the scythe in a knighting motion.
"Welp, now we have a new pet." Sora said.
"Come on girl, let's go home." Anne said as they started walking.
However, the caterpillar had yet to move an inch and fell to the side.
"Why do I find that cute?" Sora said.
"Is it broken?" Sprig asked.
"Hold on, I got an idea." Anne said.
She went into her backpack and pulled out a mouse chew toy.
"This worked on Domino 1 without fail." she said.
Domino 2 looked at the toy then widened her eyes and started crawling.
"That's it girl, you can do it!" Anne said.
"Come on, let's go girl!" Sora said.
"I want it. Give it to meeee." Sprig said hypnotically as they all started walking back home.
Back home
Hop Pop was chopping an insect when Sora and Anne came into the room.
"Hey Hop Pop, old buddy, old pal, old friend." Sora said.
"What do you want kids?" he asked.
"Oh nothing. Nothing at all." Sora asked.
"Well we just thought...doesn't this house feel empty to you?" Anne asked.
The elder frog turned around and saw the piles of dishes behind him as reference.
"Not especially." he said.
"Wouldn't it be nice to have a sweet, fuzzy, loving critter around?" Anne asked.
"Someone you could call a companion?" Sora asked.
"A pet?!" Hop Pop exclaimed.
"Great idea Hop Pop!" Sora said.
"No pets! Everytime we get one, Sprig and Polly swear they're gonna take care of it! Like this one spider we had, Charlie Bigbottom, I mean SURE they were there for all the cuddlin' and the snugglin, but who gets stuck doing all the work? Good ol' Hop Pop that's who!" Hop Pop ranted.
"I swear to frog, whoever brings a critter into this house, will be on dung duty for a month! He said while slamming the cleaver down, scaring the two.
Sora and Anne left the house as he kept ranting.
"Ok Plan B. We're gonna have to sneak D2 inside." Sora said.
"D2?" Anne questioned.
"It's short for Domino 2." Sora said.
"Should we be concerned about this?" Sprig questioned as he lifted his leg showing Domino 2 biting it.
"That is called play biting. Isn't it cute?" Anne said as Domino 2 started licking Sprig's leg.
"It kinda looks like she's tasting me." Sprig said.
"That's ridiculous. Trust me, I know cats." Anne said.
"But this caterpillar isn't a cat, Anne." Sora said while pulling Domino 2 off Sprig.
"It acts like one." Anne said.
"That's not the point." Sora said.
"Look, just trust me on this, ok?" Anne said as she took the caterpillar.
She and the critter then made puppy dog eyes which made Sora close his eyes and grunt into his arm before letting out an exasperated sigh.
"Fine, you win." Sora said.
"Yes! Works every time." Anne said.
"You and your dang puppy dog eyes." Sora said.
Sprig slowly opened the door and saw that Hop Pop was still ranting while walking around the kitchen.
This gave them the perfect cover to sneak in as Sprig opened the door to the basement while Anne and Sora walked in with Domino 2 quietly.
However, the caterpillar sneezed, making them gasp and Hop Pop turn around.
"What's that?" he said.
He looked around and saw no one was there except Sprig.
"Hey Hop Pop, what's the worst thing Charlie Bigbottom ever did, since we're talking about Charlie Bigbottom?" Sprig said.
"How can I even choose? Jumping out in front of Bessie and turning the wagon. Getting Tarantula hair everywhere…"
While he was ranting Sora and Anne hid by the side of the couch then snuck over to the basement entrance while Sprig distracted him and went inside.
"Mission accomplished." Sora said.
The Next day
Sprig entered the basement to check on the two.
"Anne, Sora, you guys awake?" he asked.
"Guys?" he asked again.
He then touched a green mushroom to light up the area and saw webs all over the place with claw marks on certain areas, making him gasp in horror.
"Anne! Sora!" he shouted in worry as he searched the place.
He pushed two boxes apart and lifted up a sack of grains while calling their names until he removed the blanket from their beds. Domino 2 was sleeping soundly on Anne while Sora begrudgingly woke up.
As he sat up, he looked around and saw everything.
"Woah." he said.
"Hey wake up, wake up!" Sprig shouted while pulling her hair.
"Huh?" Anne said tiredly.
"Dude are you okay?" Sora asked.
"Yeah totally. Domino 2 just had a bit of a rough first night indoors." she said.
She turned over to go back to sleep and when she did, they saw claw marks on the side of her head, alarming them.
"Eesh. Hop Pop is definitely gonna notice something." Sprig said.
"Yeah he is." Sora said.
"Oh, this is nothing. We just have to keep an eye on her while she's adjusting." Anne said while using the chew toy on her.
"Isn't that right Domino 2?" she said to the critter.
As it was playing with the toy, it soon eyed Sprig and looked at him tantalizingly, making him nervous. Then it shot a web at him, knocking him down.
"That's just how she says "I love you"" Anne said as she kissed her.
Sora looked at the situation with a little concern. Though the situation did remind him of when he first got Sumo, things this time around, weren't gonna be easy.
(I have a weird feeling about this) he thought.
{Montage}
Anne and Sora set up a new home for Domino 2. She pops in and out of every hole and they expect her to pop out of the next one, but then they turn and see her exiting the basement. Up top, Hop Pop is making a sandwich and while adding the ingredients Domino 2 crawls into the kitchen and eats it. Luckily, Sprig get's her away in time and takes the missing sandwhich's place, frightening Hop Pop.
Later, Anne and Sora walk down into the basement and see a dead bug on Anne's bed making them grossed out. When Domino 2 turns and meows, Anne believes that it was for her, much like how a normal animal (Sumo) would bring back something for their owner..
Later again Domino 2 rappels down to the couch and tries to eat Polly, but Sora grabs her before she could.
When they go back in the basement again, they see Domino 2 has brought a bunch of bugs on Anne's bed..
Despite all this, Anne still loved her which was shown when she swung her around the room while laughing.
Finally, while reading her magazine, Domino 2 eats it which makes Anne laugh and pet her.
{Montage ends}
We then see the three friends sitting on the ground with D2 on the bed flaying with a fly.
"Whew! Hope there isn't a Domino 3." Sprig joked.
"Yep." Sora said.
Domino 2 ate the fly, then like a cat she patted her bedding, then lied down on her back and wrapped herself in webbing before falling asleep.
"It's all worth it when you get to see your adorable looking boo take a nap." Anne said.
"Yeah, I will admit, this is pretty worth it." Sora said.
"She is pretty darn cute." Sprig said.
She then wrapped her arms around the two.
"Welcome brothers, to the church of cute." she said while pulling them close.
"Is this a cult thing?" Sprig asked.
"No, it's just a her thing." Sora explained.
"Gotcha." Sprig said in understanding.
They then heard his stomach growl.
"Looks like D2 isn't the only thing purring." Sora said.
"Come on, let's go grab some grub." Anne said.
"Ooh I love grubs." Sprig said.
"Me too." Sora said.
Before Anne left the basement, she took one last look at the sleeping critter.
"Sleep tight my precious baby angel." Anne said.
After she left, the webbing covering Domino 2's lower half then covered her face like a cocoon.
Upstairs, the three were eating food as if they hadn't eaten in days until Hop Pop came in.
"Woah, woah there! Hungry much?" he said.
"We've been running around all day. We're starving." Sprig said with his mouth full.
"Running around? Doin' what?" Hop Pop asked.
This made the three look at each other in worry for a moment, before swallowing their food.
"Oh nothing." Anne said.
"Just hanging out." Sora said.
"Who can say, really?" Sprig said.
Suddenly a thud was heard.
"What was that?" Hop Pop asked while narrowing his eyes.
"Uh...basement ghost?" Sora said.
"Don't be ridiculous. Basement ghosts don't sound anything like that." Hop Pop said.
They went back down into the basement and saw the cocoon housing Domino 2 was empty and spouting green fumes.
"What the heck is that?" Sora asked.
"Domino 2, where are you? Baby precious!" Anne said frantically while searching.
"Wait, baby precious? That's a pet name, for a pet! Y'all sneak a pet in here?" Hop Pop asked.
Sora/Sprig: "No."
Hop Pop then narrowed his eyes making the two concede.
"Okay fine, yes! We did!" Sora said.
"What'd I tell you about pets?" Hop Pop said to Sprig.
"Uh, I'm sorry. It's just that the caterpillar looked just like Anne's pet from back home." Sprig said.
"It was small, cute with black and white spots, and-" Sora explained.
"Wait. a black caterpillar with white spots?" Hop Pop asked.
"Yes. sensing something is wrong." Sprig said.
"Hop Pop, what's going on?" Sora asked.
"That's a Coastal Kill-a-pillar! They're dangerous amphibivores, and they only get white spots right before they're about to-"
Hop Pop was cut off when they heard something scurrying on the ceiling with a shriek. They all looked around for the source when they heard something plop down behind them, then they turned and saw a six-armed, cat/butterfly hybrid with red eyes roaring, causing them to scream.
"Domino 2? Is that you?" Anne questioned.
"Shh! These monsters respond to sound. Let's back away slowly and quietly." Hop Pop said as they backed away before-
"HEY FAMILY! WHAT'S HAPPENING IN HERE?" Polly shouted.
{insert song: The Deep End KH 1.5}
The beast then roared, making her scream as it flapped its wings causing everything in the basement to go flying while they ran to the exit.
"Run kids!" Hop Pop shouted.
"I don't want to die in a basement!" Sprig shouted.
With Sora at the foot of the exit, he saw Anne turn back at the creature.
"Anne! Come on!" Sora shouted.
Anne started walking forward towards it as Sora followed behind
"Domino 2? It's me, Anne." she said.
Her words seemed to be getting through to the creature as it flew down to her level; however Sora was still on his guard.
"We bonded. I gave you treats. You gave me dead things." she continued.
"Don't you remember?" she asked her.
She then reached out her hand to pet Domino 2, but once she made contact, the beast roared again and knocked her down.
"Anne!" Sora shouted.
Before he could even summon his key, the beast grabbed him and took him upstairs.
"No wait! Come back!" Anne shouted while going after her.
When she got upstairs, she saw D2 playing with Sora and the Plantars like chew toys by throwing them up in the air.
"Anne, get us out of this!" Sora shouted.
"Oh! She's gonna bite their heads off as soon as she's done toying with them." she said.
"Toying with them. Wait a second." she said in realization.
D2 then put them against the wall and got ready to eat them.
"Hey, Domino 2!" Anne shouted, getting her attention.
"Over here!" she said while waving the mouse chew toy.
This got the critter's attention causing it to run towards Anne.
"Oh crud." she said.
She then ran outta the house with Domino 2 close behind.
"I'm going after her!" Sora said while getting up.
"Wait, Sora!" Hop Pop shouted as the teen ran out the doorway.
Back with Anne, she was still being chased by Domino 2 until she made it to the edge of a cliff. Domino 2 finally caught up to her and landed then slowly walked to her.
{Insert song change: Missing you Kh 2.5}
"Oh Domino 2, I thought I could change you. But I guess I was wrong." Anne said.
"I'm sorry I couldn't make it work." she continued.
She then thought back to the great times the two of them had which made her tear up.
"It's time to go!" she said.
She then threw the chew toy far away off the cliff as Domino 2 went after it, never to be seen again. Anne then sat on her knees with her hands close to her chest.
"Sayonara, Domino 2." Anne said.
{song ends}
"Anne." Sora said.
She turned around to look at him upon hearing his voice. He walked over to her and sat down on his knees beside her.
"I saw what happened. I'm sorry." he said.
"Me too." she said.
Sora then grabbed her into a hug.
"I know you loved her very much." he said.
"I did. I really did." Anne said.
"It'll be ok." Sora said.
Meanwhile back home
Hop Pop was taking the webbing off of Sprig and Polly.
"And look who's cleaning up after the pet, Hop Pop! That's who!" Hop Pop ranted.
Sora and Anne then entered.
Sora/Anne: "Hey"
"You guys are okay!" Sprig said.
"Tell me that thing is gone!" Polly said.
"Yeah it's gone. *sigh* I'm so sorry you guys. I had no right to put you all in danger, no matter how much I miss my cat." Anne said.
"I probably would've done the same thing if I were in your position, but again, I would never replace Sumo." Sora said.
"Well, either way, I hope you guys understand." she said.
"Understand?" Hop Pop said while walking towards them.
"UNDERSTAND?!" he then shouted.
"I miss Charlie Bigbottom with all my heart and soul!" Hop Pop sobbed.
He then started crying waterfalls before hugging Anne who patted him on the back awkwardly.
"Uh, can we please fix the GIANT HOLE IN THE HOUSE?!" Polly shouted.
The next day
Sora and Anne were sweeping the basement as Sprig came in with two things.
"Y'know, I will admit, I miss having her around." Sora said.
"*sigh* well it just goes to show ya, you can't take some wild animal you found in the woods, have it live in your basement and think everything's gonna be okay." Anne said.
"I don't know. Sometimes it works out." Sprig said.
The teens looked back at their sleeping areas.
"Ooh, you're talking about us right?" Anne questioned.
"Hey uh, got you a little something." Sprig said while holding up a stuffed doll of Domino 2.
"I used Domino 2's hairballs as the fur." Sprig said.
He then gave it to Anne.
"Here you go….you hate it don't ya?" he asked.
"It's too ugly, isn't it?" he asked again.
"Y'know what? Give it back to me-"
"I LOVE IT!" Anne shouted.
He then turned to Sora and gave him his.
"I had some left over to make one for you." Sprig said.
Sora looked at the doll and saw it looked exactly like his dog Sumo. Unbeknownst to him, but to the other two, he started crying.
"Sora? Are you okay?" Anne asked.
"huh? y-yeah. Just give me a minute." he said while walking away.
The two looked at each other then back at him.
Outside, Sora sat on the steps and pulled out his phone. He searched through his photos before finding one particular photo. This caused him to think back to something very important.

A young version of himself alongside his sister who had short hair at the time were sitting in front of a box with holes and a note on it in it with two toddlers next to their mother.
"What's it say?" the mother asked.
Sora opened the letter and read it.
"Kids, Elaine, I'm sorry I can't be there for you. You all still need something, someone to love, so start with this. I love you guys, and I hope the twins grow up to be brave young girls. I know we weren't expecting this at all, but that's just life sometimes. I found peace in my final moments, and I hope you guys find yours well after I'm gone.
-until that day, your best friend and loving father, Soren."
Tears fell onto the note as Sora cried as well as Katie and their mother after the note ended.
"*sniff* O-Open the box sweetie. *sniff*" Elaine said.
The kids heard whimpering inside said box and then opened it to find a yellow Labrador Retriever puppy inside, making them gasp.
The pup looked at them and put his paws on the edge of a box before Sora grabbed him and pulled him out. The two kids rubbed the pup's fur as it licked their faces, effectively licking away their tears making them laugh a little.
Sora checked his collar and saw the tag said "Sumo"
"Sumo. I like that name." he said.
"Me too." Katie said.
And from that day forth, a new member of the Hikari family was added.
End
In the present, Sora was looking at a picture of him holding puppy Sumo in his hands which made him smile and look to the sky.
"Sumo…I miss you buddy." he said.
Back on earth
In a small suburban household, Sumo was laying on the ground in front of a couch with a small girl that had brown hair in a side ponytail held up by a yellow scrunchie next to him, rubbing his fur.
She wore a small white long sleeve, a small yellow skirt with leggings that had white spots, and small white boots.
The dog made a sad sound just as an older girl with her hair tied up in a ponytail showed up. This girl wore summer clothing that consisted of a loose fitting shirt with denim shorts and sandals.
"Sumo's been like this for a while. What's wrong with him Katie?" the small girl asked.
"He's...he's just missing a friend Lisa." Katie said while crouching down next to her.
She then started rubbing his fur as well.
"Don't worry, when he comes back Sumo will be his old self again."
Upon saying this though, she became downcast.
(Sora...where are you?)
TAKING CHARGE
Once again, Sora was outside training hoping to learn something new. He learned how to be faster with his movements when attacking, but he really wanted to learn something different other than fire.
"Last time I learned a spell it was when we were fighting that weird tree bug thing. I wonder though, can I only learn spells while fighting? There must be some other way I can learn magic. Maybe through the environment?" he said to himself.
His train of thought was cut off when he heard Anne screaming.
"The heck?!" he exclaimed.
He then ran into the house and saw Anne out of the basement with her phone in hand.
"What's wrong? Are we under attack, is it heartless?!" he questioned worriedly.
"No dude. Check this out." Anne said while showing him her phone.
On it was an image of an island with the title, "Suspicion Island."
"Suspicion Island. It's like my favorite show. I got the new season and didn't even know it. It must've auto-downloaded before we got here." Anne explained.
"Really Anne? You got me worried over a tv show?" Sora said, a little agitated.
"It's not just a tv show, it's my favorite tv show." Anne said.
"By the way, who's Otto?" Sprig asked.
"And how did you download him?" Polly asked.
"Just watch." Anne said.
"Previously on Suspicion Island."
Four people were walking through a forest.
"I've got a bad feeling about this place."
"Look! More Annes and Soras!" Sprig said.
"Ha Ha! They have noses." Polly said.
"I feel like everyone on this island is suspicious, Peruvia, except you!"
"But Randy, I think you're suspicious!"
"NOOO!" *BOOM*
"Suspicion Island. If you don't stay suspicious, you won't stay alive." *explosion sounds*
"What is this demonic nonsense?" Hop Pop questioned.
"Hop Pop, this show's got beautiful people doing dumb things while stuff explodes!" Anne said.
"It's almost like this one show we all used to watch about this twin who gets killed and his friends try to figure out who did it. You know, before it got bad." Sora said while looking at the reader after that last part.
(note: you know what I'm talking about.)
"However, this one is literally perfect." she finished.
"Awesome!" Sprig shouted.
"Let's do it!" Polly shouted.
"Now hold on. instead of that garbage, how bout I treat you to some real entertainment?" Hop Pop said.
Polly/Sprig: "oh no."
"A scene from The Shallow Pond." Hop Pop said as he unraveled a piece of paper.
"Sadness. The world is sadness. But look. There. A pond! Is it deep or shallow?" Hop Pop read.
There was only a brief moment of silence as Hop Pop waited for an applause from them. However, what he got instead was…
"Suspicion Island! Suspicion Island! Suspicion Island!" as they all crowded him.
"Okay! Fine!" Hop Pop said in frustration.
"But just one." he continued.
HOURS LATER
It was nighttime and the gang were still watching the show on Anne's phone with the kids having red eyes and Hop Pop watching with disinterest.
"It can't be, Vivica. These pterodactyls are clones of...my dead brother!"
"*gasp* no way!" Anne said in disbelief.
"I knew it!" Sora said.
"Hmm." Hop Pop muttered while rolling his eyes.
Vivica then gets taken away by Pterodactyls as the guy screamed, "NOOOO!"
"Will these beautiful teens ever make it off the island? Find out next time on-"
Before the announcer could finish, Anne paused it.
"And that's enough for tonight." she said.
"Aw, come on!" Sprig said.
"This is torture!" Polly said.
"It's called building hype. If you watch all the episodes at once it kills the excitement of wanting to watch it again." Sora said.
"He's right. You gotta pace yourselves with this stuff." Anne said.
"Alright you two grubs, off to bed." Hop Pop said.
The two frogs groaned and begrudgingly started walking.
"How am I supposed to sleep without knowing what happened to Vivica and Chad?" Sprig questioned.
"Stupid sleep! I wanna watch it right now!" Polly said.
Soon after it was just Hop Pop, Anne, and Sora. Anne smirked and nudged Hop Pop's shoulder.
"So? What do you think, Hop Pop? Better than that boring stuff you read to us, right?"
"Yeah, you have to admit it's pretty good. I was hesitant, but I like it more than the boring stuff." Sora said.
"That "boring stuff" is called literature kids, and maybe, if y'all had an ounce of culture, you wouldn't reject it in favor of your substandard, puerile garbage show!" Hop Pop said as he slammed the door to his room.
"Sheesh! Tell me how you really feel."
"He's just being extra. I'm sure he'll come around eventually." Sora said.
The two then yawned and while Anne went to the basement she saw Sora going outside.
"What're you doing?" she asked.
"I was thinking of doing nighttime training." Sora said.
"Ok. just don't stay up too late." she said.
"Yes mom." Sora joked.
While both friends left, they left Anne's phone on the table. Later in the night, a mysterious figure snuck in and started watching Suspicion Island.
The next day
Anne got some popcorn ready for the next montage just as Sora came in and plopped down next to her on the couch.
"Come on guys! It's time to get suspicious." Anne said.
"Wa Ka! Karate sound." Sora said while doing a kick.
Sora noticed his phone was on the table instead of his pocket, but instead of questioning it he put it back in his pocket and assumed he left it on the table last night
As Anne turned on her phone to continue watching, the phone then showed her battery power was extremely low.
"Wait, WHAT?!" she exclaimed.
"Oh no!" Sora said.
Just then the Plantars came in upon hearing their cries.
"What's wrong Anne?" Sprig asked.
"What's all the ruckus?" Hop Pop asked.
"Why y'all screaming?" Polly asked.
"My battery is low." Anne said.
"That doesn't make sense, it was fine when you turned it off." Sora said.
As they scrolled through the episodes, they saw that they were all completed.
"Huh? "Watched"? Who watched all these episodes and used up all the-"
Before she could finish the phone started beeping the low battery symbol again.
"No, no, no, no, no, no!" Anne said frantically while tapping the screen.
This was in vain however as her phone made a dead face and turned off completely.
"It's gone." she whispered.
"What's gone?" Sprig asked.
"Everything! My pictures, my texts, videos of my cat! Now all my memories from home are gone!" Anne said as she started hyperventilating.
"Um, there, there?" Sprig said cautiously while trying to pat her before getting swatted away.
"Was it you?!" Anne asked while pointing at him.
"What? No! I didn't watch anything. It must have been Polly." Sprig said.
"What?" Polly exclaimed.
"I even heard her get up in the night. Very suspicious." Sprig said.
"I needed to pee! Plus, if you heard me, you were awake too. You're the suspicious one!" Polly said.
"Don't change the subject." Sprig said.
"Wait, wait, wait, wait. What about...spikes?" Polly said while turning their attention to Sora.
"What?! Why me?" Sora questioned.
"I heard the front door open last night. You could've just plopped down and watched the episodes all by yourself." Polly said.
"I was doing nighttime training. Anne can vouch for me, she saw me leave." Sora said.
"He's right. He did tell me he was outside training." Anne said.
"Plus, I was so tired from it that I could barely see straight, let alone sit down and watch a tv show. That's why I was face down on my bed." Sora said.
"...fair point. Then what about...Hop Pop?" Polly said.
"Heh, me? In case you forgot, I despise that garbage." he said.
"Exactly! Maybe you ran down the phone so we would have to listen to your boring play!" Polly said.
"That's good." Sprig said with a hand to his chin.
"That's preposterous!" Hop Pop said.
"Enough! Look, let's make this easier and use my phone." Sora said while pulling it out.
"Oh yeah." Sprig said.
"Why didn't we think of that?" Polly said.
"Alright let me just get it starting up and-"
His sentence was cut off before he saw his phone was also on low battery.
"WHAT?! NO! No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!" Sora exclaimed.
This was also in vain as his phone turned off as well. Upon this happening his eye started twitching.
"Uh, Sora?" Sprig said cautiously.
Sora then started laughing which distrubed them until he grabbed Sprig and held him up again.
"WAS IT YOU?!" Sora asked.
"No!" Sprig said.
"Then who was it?!" Sora demanded.
"It had to be Polly!" Sprig said.
"No way! It was Hop Pop!"
"How dare you! Accusing your own flesh and blood?!" Hop Pop exclaimed.
As they argued amongst themselves, Anne, not having any of it shouted, "ENOUGH!" making them all stop in place.
"If none of you are going to admit to it, the least you could do is help us fix our phones." Anne said.
Sora then sighed and put Sprig down.
"She's right. There's no point in going around in circles if no one is going to confess, so let's just get our phones fixed." Sora said.
"Fair enough. How do we bring this thing back to life? Magic? Live sacrifice? I know a guy in town-"
"We need power." Anne said.
"Electricity." Sora said.
Sprig/Polly/Hop Pop: "huh?"
"You know, zap zap?" Anne said.
"Wait a minute, what if I use a thunder spell to bring them back to life?" Sora said.
"Are you sure? All you've been able to do is fire and I don't want to burn our phones." Anne said.
"I gotta at least try." Sora said.
"...ok." she said.
With the phones on the table Sora summoned his weapon and aimed it at them. He concentrated hard to summon lightning, but the tip of his weapon started to get redder giving them massive warning signs.
"Oh crap." he said.
"Move it away!" Anne shouted.
Sora moved it in another direction just as it fired, sending it flying around the house as everyone ducked to avoid it. Luckily, it went out the window but set some poor frog's house aflame.
"AAAH! MY HOUSE!"
"Uh...Sorry about that!" Sora said nervously.
"Ok, so let's fix these phones before I get arrested for arson. Zap zap, kchh kchh, do you know what we're talking about?" Sora asked.
"Hmm. oh, I think I do know what you're talking about. Quickly! To my study!" Hop Pop said.
In the study
Hop Pop pulled out a book titled, Beasts of Amphibia.
"I've heard talk of a creature called the zapapede that lives deep in the Misty Peaks. It zaps its prey with a small spark of lightning. Yeah, it's pretty cool actually." Hop Pop explained.
"Sounds like it's worth a shot." Sora said.
"How far away is this bug, HP?" Anne asked.
"Don't call me HP. It's half a day's travel but that should be no trouble for this gang." Hop Pop said.
"Oh yeah? Well that's just what Chad Vanderblad said...Right before he was stabbed in the back by a backstabber on Suspicion Island!" Sprig said while pointing at Hop Pop.
"Watch where you're pointing that finger!" Hop Pop said.
"I would never stab Chad in the back, but one of you two would." Polly said while pointing as well.
"Hey! Every time you point, two fingers point back!" Sprig said while wiggling two of his fingers.
"That doesn't make any sense!" Polly said.
Sora/Anne: "hey! Hey, hey, hey, hey!"
"You're all suspicious. Just look at you." Anne said.
All three frogs did indeed look suspicious as they looked to the sides.
"Now come on guys. Let's get going. The quicker we move, the quicker we get back our memories." Sora said as he and Anne went out of the study.
The frogs however kept darting two fingers at each other showing they're watching them for suspicion while walking out the study. Sprig went back however and did the same thing to the clock.
Misty Peaks
As the gang were walking through the mountain path, Sprig sang a song about them distrusting each other while playing a violin until they made it to a bridge.
"Quiet boy. Look! There's one now!" Hop Pop said while pointing towards a rock.
Upon it was a centipede-like critter with lightning coming from it's antennas; however, it looked a little darker and the lightning was purple, and it had a heart symbol on it's back.
"A zapapede!" Hop Pop said.
"Wow, looks pretty cute." Anne said.
"Hold on, there's something off with it though. Look, I think it's a heartless." Sora said.
The gang got a better look and saw that it was the same symbol from before while fighting the lampreys.
"He's right. Let's be careful while getting to it." Anne said.
Sprig stepped onto the bridge causing it to creak.
"Step lightly, everyone. This thing doesn't look like it can take much weight." Hop Pop said.
Everyone then walked on the bridge, SLOWLY and cautiously. While walking Sprig yawned, making Hop Pop "hmph" suspiciously.
"What's up HP?" Sora asked.
"Sprig sure looks tired doesn't he? Awfully suspicious. And don't call me HP." Hop Pop said.
"The old man's a lying snake, but he does have a point." Polly said.
Sprig then stopped in place.
"You guys talkin' scum?" he said while turning to point at them.
"What? No, no. No, no, no." Hop Pop said while Polly whistled.
"See what your show has done to them? Now they don't trust each other and we might not get to fix our phones." Sora whispered to Anne.
"It's not my fault." Anne whispered back.
"Yes it is. You turned this into an Among Them situation." Sora said.
"Psst, Sora, Anne." Sprig whispered to get their attention.
The two then moved from Hop Pop and Polly to Sprig and crouched down to hear what he had to say.
"I want to find out who's guilty just as much as you two do. Let me help you." Sprig said.
"Oh no, you don't! You were trying to Chad them into trusting you!" Polly said.
"And you're trying to Vivica them into not trusting me!" Sprig said.
"Oh, and look at Hop Pop trying to Randy his way out of this." Polly said.
"I don't even know what that means!" Hop Pop said.
"Guys, cut it out. You're gonna-"
Before Anne could finish her sentence the bridge and they all fell as the heartless woke and looked at them perplexed. The gang had managed to land (somewhat) safely on a cliff with parts of the bridge destroyed.
"Rope bridge? More like nope bridge." Anne said.
With Hop Pop face down near the ledge he looked down and gasped.
"Look! Down there! More zapapedes!" he said.
They all got up and looked down seeing a chasm of zapapedes.
"They're pretty far down." Hop Pop said.
"Hmm. oh, what if we link our arms and lower someone down there, like in episode 8." Sora said.
"Ha! So that Polly can drop us to cover tracks, just like Vivica did in the very same episode?" Sprig said.
"Oh my gosh." Sora said, annoyed.
"You callin' me a Vivica?" Polly asked, angrily.
"Maybe…" Sprig said before Polly attacked him.
"Kids, no! Stop fighting!" Hop Pop said.
"Knock it off!" Sora said while trying to pry them apart only to get hit.
"Oh that's it!" he shouted as he joined in the fighting.
"Hey! Cut it out you guys! Seriously-ow!" Anne said as she was kicked in the face by Sora.
"Sorry Anne! Are you okay?" he asked.
Anne said nothing and moved his foot out of her face then rolled up her sleeve and got involved in the fighting as well with Hop Pop looking on in worry.
"Kids! no! Stop fighting!" Hop Pop said.
The kids were now pulling on Sprig as Hop Pop then started sweating nervously.
"Eh no. uh...oh. No." he panickinlingly said.
"I-IT WAS ME!" he shouted as it echoed through the mountains.
Sora/Anne/Sprig/Polly: "huh?"
"You mean-"
"That's right Anne. I watched all the episodes. Every single one!" Hop Pop admitted.
"But you hated Suspicion Island." Sora said.
"Hated it? HATED it? I LOVED it!" he said.
(flashback to last night)
Hop Pop was tossin and turnin in his bed.
"Ever since that last episode, I couldn't sleep. I fell in love with those crazy kids on their crazy island. I couldn't get enough!"
He removed his blanket then ran out of the room.
So I did the only thing I could, I snuck out to the living room to watch another episode."
As Polly went into the bathroom, Hop Pop behind the door until it closed allowing him to run towards the living room. He then hid under a table to avoid Sprig who was drinking water.
Eventually he made it to the living room and grabbed Anne's phone. Just then the door opened making him jump and in walked Sora who was extremely tired to the point where he fell on his knees and fell flat on his face.
"The only problem was I got so addicted that I had to watch the first season as well. So when Sora came in all tired I took his phone and dragged him to bed."
He shook Sora but when he didn't wake up, he carefully removed his phone from his pocket, then he opened the basement door and carried him to his bed, laying him face down gently before leaving.
"I vowed only to watch one episode from both, but Suspicion Island had its hooks in me! And before I realized what happened, I'd finished both seasons!"
The sun rose and he saw everyone was starting to wake up.
"With dawn approaching, I covered my tracks and made my escape."
He left the phones on the table just as Anne and Sora came in as he leapt to the ceiling.
(present)
The gang were in awe of Hop Pop's confession.
"Unbelievable!" Anne said.
"What a twist!" Sprig said.
"Whoa!" Polly said
"So you were the imposter the whole time. Impressive." Sora said.
"But now, I'm gonna make things right." Hop Pop said while taking their phones.
"I WILL REDEEM MYSELF!" he shouted as he jumped off in the chasm below causing them to scream.
Anne/Sora: "Hop Pop!"
"I'm okay!" he said.
They all looked over and saw he had landed onto the zapapede nest.
"You know it's actually kinda relaxing." he said before being electrocuted.
As he tried to move away, the zapapedes kept electrocuting him.
"He won't last much longer!" Sprig said.
"We have to work together!" Polly said.
Sprig launched his tongue and wrapped it around a stump while Polly wrapped her arms around Anne's legs. They then jumped down while Sora stayed topside.
"Grab Hop Pop! I'll stay here."
"Why?" Anne asked.
"I think someone just came back to play." Sora said as he summoned his weapon.
As if on cue, the zapapede heartless crawled down the rock wall to Sora who stood on guard. As the beast attacked it knocked Sora into the stump dislodging it, causing him to grab Sprig's tongue with one hand while trying to fight with the other.
"Hurry up guys! I can't hold him off for much longer!" Sora said.
"Almost. Nearly there." Anne said while she reached for Hop Pop's foot which she managed to grab.
"Got him! Oh, wait a second-*scream*"
The zapapede electricity went through Anne, to Polly, to Sprig, and then to Sora who screamed in pain before pointing his keyblade at the heartless and shouting…
"THUNDER!"
Which caused a massive lightning strike to hit the heartless, causing an explosion launching Sora and the gang away back to where they started at the bottom of the mountain.
They all groaned in pain with Sora coughing up smoke while both phones battery life were shown to be at 10,000 percent of power.
"Holy smokes. That's a lot of percents." Hop Pop said.
"So, you love Suspicion Island huh?" Anne said.
"yeah…*sigh* I'm sorry I lied to y'all and drained your memory boxes. Can you ever forgive this old, silly frog?" he asked.
"Dude, you risked your life to recharge our phones. As far as I'm concerned, we're square." Sora said, making him smile.
"Aww." Sprig said.
"Really glad I didn't push you off a cliff like I was planning." Polly said.
"Me too Polly. Me too." Sprig said.
"Oh by the way, check this out guys." Sora said.
They all turned their attention to him as he resummoned his weapon. He then held it up in the air and suddenly thunder struck the ground, surprising them.
"A new spell?!" Anne exclaimed.
"Yep. Now our phones will be charged forever." Sora said.
"Alright, enough fiddle-faddling. We gotta get home so you guys can finish the season. If I don't talk about it soon, I'm gonna explode!" Hop Pop said.
"I mean, that part where the island itself is revealed to actually be-"
"Whoa!" Sora said.
"No!" Polly screamed.
"Oh come on!" Sprig said.
"Dude, spoilers!" Anne shouted.
Meanwhile elsewhere
{insert song: villains of a sort}
Three cloaked figures were walking on the road with the one in the back lagging a little bit. The one in front was tall and masculine, the one in the middle was feminine and average height, the one in the back was slightly taller than her, but not the same height the one in front was
"How much longer til we get there Morris?" he complained to the one in the front called Morris.
"We'll get there when we get there, stop complaining Shou." Morris said to the one called Shou.
"But we've been walking FOREVER, I wanna do something fun." Shou said.
"What's your definition of fun? Going around harassing people?" Morris questioned.
"That was one time." Shou said.
"Honestly, you two are the same as ever. Hey look." the feminine one said while walking ahead of them.
"What is it Cere?" Morris said.
The one known as Cere stopped and pointed far ahead, causing the other two to walk up next to her. When they did, they happened upon their destination which was a large castle area with ruins in front of it.
"This is the place huh? Newtopia?" Shou questioned.
"Yes. This is the place." Morris said.
"Now what?" Cere asked.
"Now, we make an audience with the king on her behalf, with an offer he just simply can't refuse." Morris said as he smiled
"Sounds like fun." Cere said.
"Yeah, it does." Shou said.
The three mysterious figures then started walking to the castle with their mission in tow.

An: I dare someone to make an animatic of the OP. I think ADAMAS worked best as an Op for this story so I hope you enjoy it (even though I probably didn't plan it well).
Anyways, I'm glad I got this chapter done. The next chapter is just gonna be the first part of episode 5, not the full one.
Those three characters at the end are original characters for the story and will have a big role to play in the third season. Right now I'm just setting them up, but you can obviously tell who they work for. I want to give them a similar feel to the Zogratis siblings from Black Clover with Shou being somewhat like Vanica, Cere being like Zenon, and Morris like Dante. Their origin story is going to blow your mind but for right now I'll keep it inconspicuous so as not to spoil the surprise.
Also I've already got people to voice them for the most part.

Morris: Kaiji Tang or Ricco Fajardo
They're gonna make a reappearance in the Marcy/Kairi chapter.
I also know how to approach this story now and it might help in the long run, so stay tuned for more stuff.
