"Harry, was it really a good idea to take Teddy in? He's adorable, but you're pretty young to be a parent. Tonks' mother is perfectly capable of taking care of him,"
"For the last time, she asked me to babysit him. It's only going to be for tonight,"
"Har-ee!"
The two-year-old dashed into the room holding Hogwarts, A History.
"What's this?"
"I've been looking for that everywhere!" Hermione made to grab the book out of Teddy's hands, but Harry stopped him.
"That's a book, Teddy. Book,"
"Buh-kooh,"
"Close enough. Good job,"
He ruffled his godson's turquoise hair, which immediately turned into a deep shade of magenta, and his eyes went from grey to charcoal.
And thirty minutes later, Andromeda found Harry lying on the floor next to Teddy, teaching him to read.
Two weeks later…
"Buh-kooh!" Teddy said, pointing to Flourish and Blotts.
They were at Diagon Alley; Andromeda had come for a couple errands, and decided to bring Teddy along and give him a scoop of mint chocolate chip ice cream. They were on their way back, but Teddy had stopped them with an abrupt distraction.
His grandmother grinned. "Learned a new word at Harry's, didn't you?" she said as she pushed open the door. Teddy dashed to the nearest shelf and grabbed One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi. It was practically half his height, but he refused to put it back on the shelf.
Twenty minutes later, Teddy came back with what seemed like thirty other books from the children's section.
"That's a lot, Teddy, this ought to cost about forty galleons! Are you sure you want it?"
"Buh-kooh!" Teddy insisted, with a stern look on his chubby face.
Andromeda signed and smiled. "That's my daughter's son,"

Every empty space in Teddy's bedroom soon had a bookshelf on it. By the end of his first year at Hogwarts, he had read everything in the library- twice.
Even after fifteen years, the memory of holding Hogwarts, A History up to his godfather was still fresh in his mind.
