Here we go, a rather short chapter in between the Final and Final 7 challenge. A general check in with everyone and some set up for the next chapter. So without further ado, enjoy. Also from now on no more POV it is going to be pure narration.

Chapter 36: Izzy's Jungle Story

The previous elimination going to 4am in the morning left everyone tired that was still in the game. Luckily Chris decided that no challenge for today or tomorrow. For everyone they slept through until the following morning.

Killer Bass Girls Cabin

Sadie was sitting by herself waking up. She was happy it wasn't a challenge day but as she laid in bed she thought of how long it'd been since she saw Katie. Sadie could only hope Katie was proud of her, she was so close to the money and didn't want anyone to stand in her way. Sadie had unknowingly to even herself began to cry just thinking of how far she was in the game

Confessional- Sadie

"I think sleeping for a whole day made me realize how far I made it. I hope Katie is proud of how far I made it. I have a one in like 7 shot of winning this game. I did what I had to do to make it this far.

Screaming Gopher Boys Cabin

Cody woke up still in shock from the fact that he and Bridgette were now dating. He then looked at the cabin and it truly settled in for him how alone he was in the cabin. He was so happy to have Bridgette by his side and he was gonna commit to her no matter what for the game and in life. But then his mind went to the four guys who he roomed with and now out of the game. He didn't think much of Justin since he had to leave to keep Noah but it sucks that his time was cut short. But he missed Owen, Trent, and especially Noah who he knew would be thrilled to see his best friend dating someone like Bridgette.

Confessional- Cody

"So Bridgette is now my girlfriend. Kind of nuts, I never had a girlfriend but being alone in the cabin really made me feel so empty. I was fine losing Justin since I didn't get to know him but man this game it gets more difficult every time to say goodbye to people. It was hard to say goodbye to Owen, Trent. But since the merge I am telling you every week it's like groundhog's day for me. I wake up-'' Cody then had an exaggerated sarcastic happy tone "Hey Cody guess what one of the people you are close to is going home. Yay! And Sadie continues to be a domineering bitch! Awesome! It just keeps happening. Losing Harold wasn't as emotional for me as it was to lose Noah but man it still hurts as I thought the deeper in the game it got the easier it would be to say goodbye to people. But it just gets harder.

Killer Bass Boys Cabin

The air was tense in the Killer Bass Boys cabin. Neither Duncan nor Tyler liked each other and after Tyler stunned Duncan in the previous challenge only for Duncan to get rid of Harold, one of Tyler's closest allies, neither guy had nice words for each other. Duncan was beginning to leave when Tyler told Duncan in a mocking tone "Going to 'strategize' with Sadie?"

"Yeah, what's it to you?" Duncan turned his head glaring at the jock. "Aw, is little Tyler sad that I sent Harold home? Be thankful it wasn't you, if it was up to me you would have been out of here by now because Harold was useless. Well you are too but Harold is especially useless. At least Harold can get a girlfriend."

"You shut your fucking mouth" Tyler yelled out clearly still angry losing another ally and dealing with Duncan's unexpected hostile behavior.

"Aw man Tyler. Another one of your male attractions leaves in Harold how sad, it's a shame that all the guys here have girlfriends for the most part and are taken. Maybe Zeke will take you up on a date." Duncan said until Tyler straight up punched him in the face and knocked him out cold before walking away.

Confessional- Duncan

"Look before anyone gets at me for what I am saying to Tyler I know he's bisexual and bluntly I don't care, that's his business and good for him. Right now Sadie and I have a plan and it's called 'Bait Tyler'. Right now everyone knows it is 3 against 3, with Lindsay in the middle. Sadie and I agreed Tyler is the next to go as Cody isn't that threatening and we both have a bond with Bridgette, but we need Lindsay's vote to secure the deal. So we, as in me, are trying to get Tyler so upset he shows his true colors to Lindsay and she votes him out while Sadie coaxes Lindsay to vote his ass out of here. I have to survive in this game and if it means showing Tyler's less than bright side then so be it."

Confessional- Tyler

"Duncan is an asshole and I am not going to let that prick walk all over me. Harold is right that I need to be honest with Lindsay. I don't even think she realizes that she is the deciding vote for this next elimination. I know that with Lindsay she still wants me or at least I am an important person to her and I want her to realize that she loves me. If she doesn't love me I can live with that, but my gut instinct tells me otherwise. As for who I want to target next? Well let's see here I hate Duncan, I hate Sadie and since she is aligned with them I don't care for Izzy so I am not gonna pick one above the other, all 3 can go for all I care.

Screaming Gopher Girls Cabin

Each of the three girls woke up very late. Bridgette was about to head out for the day when Izzy woke up and stopped her "Bridgette, Lindsay I have a crazy story to tell you guys."

Bridgette sighed "Sure Izzy what's the story?"

"Well it's about the last challenge I didn't see anyone and I am sure you want to hear about Izzy's escapades"

"Esca what" Lindsay asked

"Adventures Lindsay. Sure Izzy, let's hear it." Bridgette told both girls as she took a seat on the ground.

The Past Challenge

Izzy was narrating what happened to her with occasional quips from Bridgette and Lindsay during her story as it showed Izzy in a part of the woods.

Izzy was shown walking and jumping like crazy like a ninja "So the challenge starts and Izzy decides to go into ninja Izzy. I couldn't climb trees but I jumped from bush to bush like a ninja." The scene then translates to show Izzy with a bear nearby.

"Do you guys remember the bear Cody stabbed and the one that mauled Trent?" Izzy asked.

"Wait? They were the same bear? How could you tell?" Bridgette asked.

"Bears have a smell and this had the smell of Trent. Everyone here has a definitive smell. It's how I always know when someone is gonna attack me or approach me. Like for example Bridgette you always have a smell of the ocean and Lindsay smells like lipstick."

"Fascinating" was the voice as Duncan soon approached the girls cabin with a blakc eye. "What's my smell Izzy?

"Spray paint."

"Sounds about right," Duncan proudly said.

"Shush Duncan, let me get back to the story" Izzy yelled. "So I met the bear and I began speaking to it. I speak bear, camel, and rabid goat, which is different from normal goat. Anyways, the bear is at first all raw, raw, but quickly we become fast friends."

"You became friends with a bear?" Duncan asked as the narration showed Izzy riding the bear.

"Of course, nature is amazing and deadly which makes it great for someone like Izzy. So anyways Izzy rides the bear into a beaver dam and there she meets Billy the beaver. Now Billy is a little ferocious and not helping is the great beaver and the bears are having a feud. Luckily I Izzy being the animal expert she is, tried to calm things down."

"Since when are you an animal expert?" Lindsay asked.

"Well Izzy has this girl she met on the street protesting against animal cruelty a year ago in my hometown named Laurie and she showed Izzy how to bond with animals." Izzy explained. "Anyways, so the bears and beavers got in a fight. I ran away from them, and that's when I ran into a wall. Turns out part of the Island is fake or something as I began climbing the wall and saw civilization and Chef paid me money to keep my trap shut."

"I don't believe you," Duncan said.

"No it did happen , I swear!" Izzy yelled.

"Sure" Duncan said walking away.

"Anything else to the story Izzy?" Bridgette asked.

"Nah" Izzy said before jumping out the window freaking both Bridgette and Lindsay out.

Confessional- Izzy

"Meanie Duncan thinks I am lying, he has no idea of my wide variety of skills, but eh Izzy will still work with him."

Confessional- Duncan

"Izzy is a nutcase. Besides horror movies we have nothing in common but Sadie insists that she is loyal to us so we have to keep her but man she is insane. Sticking with Sadie is such a double edged sword, on the one hand besides her and I guess Bridgette I have no relationship with anyone left. Lindsay and I don't talk, Izzy is insane, Cody and I had a deal until he betrayed me as things are awkward now. As for Tyler well he's Tyler he's Sadie and I's next target. But I know Sadie will take me to the end"

Confessional- Bridgette

"Izzy is a unique person. I didn't expect her to tell such a wild tale but it was intriguing that's for sure. I was gonna spend the day with Cody. Unfortunately by the time Izzy's story was done, Cody was nowhere in the Boys cabin, so I went looking for him."

Dock Of Shame

Cody was staring out at the water, for him coming to the dock was when he wanted to relax or get away from everyone else as the sun was now setting. He didn't notice Bridgette soon approaching him.

"Cody. You weren't in the Cabins? Is something wrong" Bridgette asked.

"Oh hey Bridgette. I just, waking up this morning in the cabins made me truly realize how alone I am in this game. Yeah we're going out now and I am ecstatic, hell I have had to pinch myself but I am just scared to lose you in this game and waking up alone reinforced how scared I am."

"Look, Cody as someone who has been alone all her life it takes a while to get used to and I will tell you this as long as we're together. We're in this together." Bridgette said before sighing. "Look if you want for just tonight I will sleep in the cabin with you. Different beds and bunks but I don't mind letting Lindsay and Izzy talk their ears off and have fun.

"You would do that for me?" Cody asked.

"Well since you're my boyfriend it makes sense I do something nice for you." Bridgette simply told him. Unknowingly to both of them Sadie overheard them and had a thinking look on her face.

Confessional- Sadie

"Plans are always changing, and if Bridgette wants to shack it up with Cody, who is a loser by the way, then she is gonna go sooner than later. Maybe not next time but she is getting to be very expandable like real soon."

That's it for the chapter. Next chapter is the Final 7 elimination. Like canon it is gonna be the animal capture challenge and what not, but it won't be just solely a reward challenge.

So there is nothing shocking, how the challenge works I will tell you guys in advance how this goes. First one will get the reward but they also get immunity like how it should have been in canon, now comes the fun part. The last two to bring the animal in will be the only ones eligible for a vote, the one who survives stays in the game and washes the bathroom while the loser is eliminated.

Now I am not gonna reveal who this bottom 2 will be as that will be a surprise for everyone reading this, but I want to leave the readers with some anticipation as we reach this endgame.
