![]() Author has written 4 stories for Harry Potter, StarTrek: Voyager, Stargate: Universe, and Lord of the Rings. Hello Fan Fiction fans! I would like to get some input on potential stories I could write, with my take on things, and just have some general feedback if possible. I have two stories that I’m working on, slowly, as the ideas are in my head, and the next chapters are gradually being fleshed out by my imagination, and, eventually, I whip up a chapter, and post it here. I’m doing this in the hope that someone or a group of people who have appreciated my work can continue to do so, knowing that my brain and writing style are quite odd. Feel free to PM me or, if you want to leave it as a review on one of my stories, that would also work, provided you are logged in. I’m not certain about how the guest review works on this site. So! The Ideas! NOTE: These are subject to change, and there is no guarantee that I’ll put in the time to fully flesh out each concept. I’m, as of October 27th 2021, committed to Merlin’s Great Need, and Q Junior’s Hyperspanner. I intend to make them both at least 100k words, it just takes me a while to get the ideas from my head to my word processor, and then on to Fan Fiction. (My next planned type fest once I have it firmly settled is going to be Q Jr. and his shenanigans.) Crossover of Harry Potter and Battlestar Galactica refresh series (2003, EJO, Tricia Helfer…) Key Concept: Harry Potter gets bored with the world of Magic, and asks the Room of Requirement for a new adventure, where he doesn’t have to be part of a prophecy. Room sends him to take the place of an officer on Galactica, just after the Cylons attack the colonies. Magic comes along with him, but he is by himself. No other character from the works of JKR comes with him, nor can he go back. One-way move 2nd Major Part: Harry Potter has to fall in love with Starbuck, and he will be close to her age when he goes to Hogwarts to ask for a place to go where he won’t be part of a prophecy, or around others who want to hero-worship him and something he had no part of, ie the part where his Mother activated ancient magic Voldemort never knew or understood. Crossover of Smallville and Star Trek: Voyager Key Concept: Clark Kent with all his powers, gets warped to the Caretaker Array when the Caretaker abducts Voyager and the Maquis ship. He doesn’t have the power to just drag the combined crew back to earth, and call it done. Also, romance with 7 of 9, once she arrives. This idea doesn’t have much more in my head at the time I’m typing this for my Author Profile. Crossover of Chuck and Eureka Key Concept: Chuck and Zoe become friends, and their worlds are the same. Chuck has a moment of inspiration from the big government download he got, and finds Eureka, and somehow gets pulled into the orbit of helping Jack Carter. Crossover of the entire Dark Knight Trilogy and some Baking/Cooking Show Competition Key Concept: Joker and Batman have to judge the food, in their full personas, though no violence. May just be a one off single chapter story, if I can get the dialogue close enough to make it seem true to the fandom and the cooking/baking show For now, there are several more crazy ideas in my head for interesting Fan Fiction, though I will let them stew for a while. For the above 4, I fully and completely lay NO claim to exclusive rights or anything, as this entire website is for the fans. I know that some genres/fandoms may be considered off limits by the admins of the site, so I'm doing this to just try and improve my writing. I recall in High School and even when I was younger that I would take a few sentences of a concept for writing something, and within a few days I'd have a small novella and go on for days making it cool and awesome, to me at least. I've had some reviews saying my writing is not great, or ideas I have are 'out of context' for the given character. I have to be blunt here: I don't care if I portray a character that doesn't match 100% what their original creators had in mind. By very definition of the name of this website, all the works posted here are meant to be a FICTION. Alternate Universe and all that, to me, is implied when someone like me writes something using characters from a Book, TV Show, or Movie. I, like many others on this site, write for their own amusement, and, if a single person who reads something I or another author writes, and they have a laugh, or their day is brightened even a small bit, then what does it matter if speech of a certain character feels too stiff, or out of context. Also, if anyone is TRULY interested in becoming a Beta for my work, please let me know. I don’t know if I’ll become as prolific as some authors on this website. I just know that I could use someone to bounce ideas off of, and to genuinely provide constructive criticism so I can improve my fiction writing. |
