April 2020: Well it has certainly been a hell of a month. This crazy pandemic has really changed my life and I have found myself at home for weeks on end with not much to do. Writing has become a central focus in that time. The Castlevania story that I started has grown a lot, and I have been having a blast working on it. I still refuse to make any promises about how long it will be or when it might be finished, but I've been moving at a pretty breakneck pace and as long as I'm having fun I hope to keep it up. We are approaching 90k words - I can't believe I have written so much in such a short time! Thanks to everyone who has followed, reviewed and favourited. Hopefully everyone is staying safe and staying inside.

March 2020: Hello friends, as usual its been a very long time since I posted new content. I am stuck at home like so many others thanks to the pandemic and I have really been enjoying the Castlevania series on Netflix. I am inspired to try my hand at a bit of writing after so long, so I've been busy at the computer.

I make absolutely no promises as to completion or frequency of updates, but hopefully some of you enjoy this new content. I have purposely kept things light so that I don't take on a giant long novel and never finish it, which is my my M.O. I've also kept things light because the world is going through some crazy stuff and I would very much like to pretend its not real. Join me in escapism fellow readers!

August 2018: So a slight wait while I took that extended detour, but I finally got around to posting the rewritten version of The Dark Side! Much of what was changed has been locked up in my computer for the better part of two years. Stagnant, but not forgotten. I recently went on a vacation where I was totally disconnected from internet, phones and people, and this got me to pull up the story, reread it, and when I ran out of story to read I wrote more. I've had the damned thing in the back of my mind for so long - it felt great to finally add to it!

I don't want to make any lofty promises about frequent updates or completion, but this thing has become like a passenger in my head that picks my brain from time to time. Truthfully I get so sidetracked reading other people's stories that I tend to forget about my own O.o

I do have the next chapter ready to go and I will release it in a week or two. I would really love to hear what people think of things so far! Thanks to those who've reviewed and read already, your responses always put a smile on my face.

April 2017:

Still alive! wow I can't really say anything about how long I've gone since last update. Have not abandoned this story, life has simply taken me on a very extended detour.

August 2016: I'm Alive!

I just wanted to pop in and say that I haven't forgotten 'The Dark Side!' It has been on my mind since my last update, and I have been plagued by the need to go back and do a major rewrite of some parts, especially the beginning. I have been working on the first several chapters for a few days, and have made some awesome progress. I don't want to release the new content until I get more of it finished, and some new chapters as well.

So anyway, I don't know if anyone reads these things or is even thinking about 'The Dark Side' anymore, but I'm here and that's what going on.

Nov 2015: Things have been going well so far with the new story! Many thanks to everyone who has reviewed, faved, followed, etc etc. Its really nice to be writing again! I know the story has been pretty dark so far - I guess my muse is a bit twisted, and keeps trying to make me torture Zero! I just love that angst that is so ingrained into his personality, so I can't help poking at it at every opportunity.

I'm working on the story in my spare time, so more should be on its way soon.

Oct 2015 Update: Heya, I'm trying my hand at Some Vampire Knight fanfiction! Its been awhile since I wrote anything but I've been reading so many Zero/Kaname stories lately and this idea just wouldn't go away!

November 2012: Hello everyone, I hope you enjoy my fics!

At the moment I am on a 'Vampire Diaries' kick, so that is what I will be submitting. I used to write on this site under another penname, doing Gundam Wing and Dragonball Z fics, but that was many years ago, and I feel my writing has evolved to something deserving of a new penname. The old one was 'Lady Angelfiren'

My fics generally contain a mix of romance, angst, action, supernatural, drama, and naughtiness. I try to make my writing as readable and enjoyable as possible, and I hope to have readers at the edge of thier seats biting thier nails here and there, or blushing and peeking around to see if anyone can see them reading.

I do tend to write longer stories with many chapters, and at times it does take me awhile to update, so please be patient with me! I work a lot, have 2 dogs, and I also breed ball pythons, which is a time consuming, but very rewarding hobby. I write when I have the time and the urge.

All in all, I hope everyone enjoys my first crack at TVD fanfiction with a Delena theme!
