A FEW DAYS AFTER MEI TEST
(HIMIKO 14 YEARS OLD)
Ever since Power Loader had opened his big mouth Aizawa has been getting questioned about this particular subject by everyone. Apparently they were all shocked and assumed he hid his wedding as well as marital status from them. This caused a waterfall of rumours he was now getting bugged by both the hero students and teachers. Needless to say he wanted to strangle Power Loader but the short man went into hiding as soon as the rumours started. Apparently he asked Nezu if he could move his scheduled vacation from later in the year to now, something the rodent probably took pleasure in doing.
While trying to avoid the others teachers, mainly Mic and Midnight as they were the most persistent in terms of questions. He somehow ran into the big three and knew that Nejire Hado would spread rumours no matter what he said. So long as he made it past these three he would be fine as soon as he can lock himself in his classroom for the day. That was when she turned around after taking a few steps past him to ask him… can anything go right today for him?
Nijire Hado was known for being straightforward to a fault, something she never understood. What was wrong with being direct? It was a lot quicker for getting to know what you wanted from someone. Though her way of talking and doing things always worked on most people, was a different story. He was able to avoid any social situation through sheer willpower as well as his general attitude of not caring about others opinions.
Then a few days ago she heard a wild rumour that he apparently has a daughter and son, the daughter was fourteen, while the son was five. She could not for the life of her picture what kind of women his wife was, little lone what their kids were like. That was when she spotted him as she and her two friends walked past him. She spun on her heels and called out to him with glee, hoping to confirm the crazy rumours she has heard about him lately.
"Hey mister Aizawa! Hows your kid doin?" She greeted then asked him a quick question, skipping any context whatsoever. Her friends just looked to her and shrugged before taking a few steps back to try and get out of scarf range. She received a glare from him and was responded with, 'what are you talking?' from him before she quickly walked back in front of him as he turned around on her. "I heard the rumours, as well as asked Midnight-sensei about where she heard it from." Nijire said getting a sigh and groan from him. Even with her declaration he still used his scarf and quirk to place her beside her friends telling them to keep an eye on her before retreating somewhere. She tried to follow him but was stopped by them and dragged away by her two traitorous friends towards their next class.
As they did so they ended up bumping into a blond girl who was younger than them running down the hallway. She apologized and asked where was, since she was not wearing the school uniform, Nijire assumed she was a first year who came to school late today. They knew first hand that Aizawa would not be happy to see her right now, she felt bad now for irritating him before with her questions. Now he may not have any patience to spare the poor girl, but oh well, he would have scolded her any ways.
They pointed her to the direction he walked in a few minutes prior before she told them her name and ran after him. She said her name was Himiko Aizawa… AIZAWA! That girl was the one she was trying to ask him about earlier, the others noticed and let go in shock before she dashed after the girl. Them following closely behind her, there was no way she was going to miss the chance that even Midnight-sensei had not gotten yet.
Himiko was told by her mother… she was getting use to the idea of a mother again, but liked her new one. Even though Eraserhead does not speak his emotions outlaid that often, he was still a great dad, strict but at least he accepted her quirk. Unlike her old parents who hated her and her power, these two tried to make her, as well as Izuku embrace their powers. But yeah to be told to bring him his lunch cause he forgot it was a surprise, he was always meticulous with how he did things. Still she was happy to bring her dad his lunch, Principal Nezu even told her where the teachers lounge was to find him.
However she heard some of the teachers talk about how he left them after they started asking him questions. So she decided to just look around the school, trying to find the first year classrooms, but UA was large. As a result it was also very maze like where one wrong turn will get you lost if you are not careful. As she ran to the first year classrooms after asking a student about where they were she bumped into a group of three people. Most likely third years since they were wearing slightly different uniforms from the second and first years she has already seen on her way to her father.
She asked them were was as she knew they would not know who she meant if she asked for her dad. They pointed her towards the direction they came from and she thanked them before giving them her name. "Sorry about the late introductions, my name is Himiko Aizawa." Himiko said waving them off before running after her dad. That was the third time she introduced herself that day to someone at UA, she forgot to a few times so far.
Midnight and Mic were enjoying some coffee while trying to get some more info from their friend Shota Aizawa. However he did not want to talk about it, and Power Loader ran away on the excuse of vacation to avoid Aizawa wrath. For some reason he has been hiding a secret love child, two in fact however that was not why they were upset. They were upset because he did not invite them to his wedding! He left saying he had papers to grade but he had no homeroom class to teach this year as he had expelled them.
A little bit of time passed since he left when a young girl with blond hair and yellow cat like eyes knocked on the door to the teacher lounge. She asked them if was here but they had to tell the poor girl he was not here. It looked as though she was not wearing the school uniform, was she a general ed student he was scouting that had to tell him something before going to an appointment outside of school?
In any case as she was leaving she introduced herself as Himiko Aizawa quickly trying to run after him. Poor girl, they hope he manages to pull her into the hero course, he has told them all how illogical the robot test is. As there was many useful quirks for heroes that did not rely on raw power to function, therefore failed the test. After what was apparently ten minutes or so of talking with each other again they brought up the student. Only for it to dawn on them that her last name was Aizawa and Power Loader said their friend kid was a blond girl. It took them a whole ten seconds before they spat out their coffee and chased after her, only now realizing they turned away the girl they wanted to meet.
Nezu was enjoying some early morning tea when the security guard had told him the he lost his mind. Apparently there was a young girl with blond hair at the gate claiming to be the daughter of Aizawa something he could not believe. Nezu knew better and was not too surprised he did not know, as he was the morning shift guard. The one that met her last time was the afternoon guard and he was not told of her last name so he too was in the dark.
He had the guard tell her to wait so he could come down and greet her himself thinking of something entertaining. When he met her down there he sent her in the direction of the teacher she was looking for. AKA her dad, the sleep deprived, scarf loving, most likely sadist if his scarf choking technique was anything to go by, her new dad. Nezu told her to go to the teacher lounge knowing she would run into Midnight and Mic as soon as she arrived.
Nezu later found out how much it snowballed out of his expectations later when he shoved his face into a security camera video. Where Himiko was mumbling red in the face, with tears in the corner of her eyes from Mic, Midnight, and Nijire Hado of the big three cuddling her too much. Apparently she had developed a bit of stage fright while she was spending the last year hiding with Izuku, so much so, that being the centre of that much attention made her cry. Fortunately for her Mirio Togata saved her from the grip of the other three, while his friend Tamaki Amajiki helped to calm her. Though his issue with attention was less severe, he still understood how much socializing that closely was straining her nerves. So he was able to eventually calm her down while the leader of the big three helped Aizawa too 'calm' everyone down. Normally I would try to get retribution against Aizawa for this, but this is one of the few times where I am able to admit I deserved his rough treatment of me, despite me being his boss.
Hound Dog had just finished talking with Himiko and Izuku while Nezu and Izuku were now patting the back of the crying girl. Eraser and Sweep Queen were not here due to the fact that Hound Dog figured they would get angry at him for making her cry. Once it looked like Nezu and Izuku were just about done calming her down, he picked up his phone and dialled the number of that group therapist.
"Who are you to be calling me at-" Hound Dog did not let him finish as he began barking, snarling, and growling at the man. From what Toga had told him, he was one of those idiots who, not only denied quirk evolution/growth. But he also placed a persons value solely on their quirk, something that can damage a Childs future to say the least. After what he later found out was about five minutes of him making animal like noises at the failure of a human being on the other end Nezu took the phone.
The man on the end of the phone told Nezu that he should train his rabid mongrel better, and that he would regret bothering him when the mouse cracked his tail like a whip. Causing the other man to go silent before Nezu began his malevolent lecture to the piece of filth. "Listen here you fool of a so called professional. As low as my expectations for humans are, you managed to exceed them in the most disgusting way possible. One of your former patients is currently the child of a UA staff member, as well as going to be one of my future students. I'm an educator for the sole purpose of ensuring that filth such as yourself don't destroy the future of innocent children with your incompetence. The so called mongrel you heard before was the school guidance councillor the pro hero Hound Dog who was so angry no words could describe what he wanted to do to you. You have apparently been spending years telling children they are worthless, and preaching that fossilized idea that quirks are some sort of mystic power you cannot train to grow stronger. Ignorant people such as yourselves are what I despise the most, not just because of your stupidity but also because you poison the next generation with it. Personally I find it both amusing and deeply disappointing that I'm not even human and can still nurture the young of your species better than many others. Unfortunately for your sorry hide, I do not take disappoint in such important matters very well at all. Now watch as I tear your reputation, your business, and your family apart leaving you surrounded by the cold lifeless ashes of what was once you life." Nezu said hanging up the phone chuckling at what he assumed were torture thoughts for the man.
A few days later a group of parents who were apparently previous clients of his threw homemade fire bombs through his office windows. When the police came they arrested him along with them, with Nezu paying their lawyer fees on the condition they join him in a class action lawsuit. With his office burnt down, his wife divorcing, then his house being sold to pay his lawyer fees he barely had the clothes on his back. Their goal was to destroy his reputation nation wide and force his family to disown him. He avoided prison time, but only because Nezu wanted him to try living off the street, for it to not last long. A week later he was found half naked and practically frozen to death as he had only the clothes on his back. Apparently he was mugged for his 'nice' clothes and fancy watch/rings, he really should have valued his life more than his status symbols.
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
Himiko has spent the last year getting ready for this day, with the help of everyone she had met after running away. Her new mother, who was every bit as kind as she was energetic, as well as her new father who despite his grumpy exterior, was a caring person. Then there is Principal Nezu and Power Loader-sensei who gave her a safe place to learn, as well as encourage her to follow her dream. Hound Dog-sensei helped her and Izuku to get past their trauma and cope with what each of them had done so far. Present Mic, and Midnight who helped her to get use to socializing again, well not in large groups any ways, she was used to one on one thanks to Mei and Yuga. Mei had supported her as well, going as far as making her hero costume for her, after becoming Himiko first true friend. Yuga Aoyama, her mothers disciple taught her about things like fashion and how to stand out, something she disliked for a long while. Finally was her three senpai Nijire Hado, Tamaki Amajiki, and last of them was Mirio Togata who together are called The Big Three. They helped her to catch up in terms of academics and physical training as she was well behind other children her age.
She had found her way to the 1-A classroom when she had found herself unable to open the door. 'You can do this Himiko, Hound Dog assured you were ready to be around large groups of people' she told herself to psyche herself up. It was as she was thinking such thoughts to herself she spaced out, getting a tap on her shoulder, causing her to jump in fright.
"Sorry about that you seemed nervous." Ochaco Uraraka apologized as the muttering girl before her jumped. It seemed she was lost in thought as she was looking at the door, Ochaco understands the feeling herself. "Lets go in together, my name is Ochaco Uraraka." She said pulling the blond hair girl with her through the door into their classroom.
When they entered they saw a boy with a close crop haircut was giving some sort of lecture to a boy with spiky blond hair. The boy he was yelling at seemed to not be paying any attention, that was when the lecturer noticed them and walked over. "Greetings my name is Tenya Ida, it is a pleasure to meet you fellow classmates!" he said extending his hand for a handshake.
"My name is Ochaco Uraraka, same thing back at you!" She replied cheerfully only for her and the boy to see the girl beside her. She seemed to be stuttering trying to utter out her name only to fail and make a sort of choked squeezing sound. "Are you okay!" She asked her in a bit of a panic getting a small head nod before they heard a voice below them.
"Stop wasting time talking and get to your seats already." Aizawa said getting up and out of his sleeping bag. The brown haired girl was saying there was something wrong with Himiko, but I ignored it and glared sending them to their seats. 'Come on Himiko you can do it, you have been preparing for this' he thought to himself as his daughter quietly went to her seat. After looking around the classroom to see everyone was there he began the first day of class, but with one improvise. "First off, the name you will all call me by is or Aizawa-sensei." He said getting a few smile around him before moving on. "All right I want everyone to give your names starting from the first seat of each row starting with the far left row." Aizawa said knowing this would force his daughter to interact with the other students a little. Still though he was relieved to see the gravity girl taking a liking to her already, she was a friend he easily proves of.
Himiko was struggling to answer the brown haired girl whose name was Ochaco Uraraka. As she led them into the classroom Himiko noticed what she would describe as a high class kid lecturing a fellow student. She remembered him from the video as he was so focused on fighting robots he ignored others calls for help. Her dad pointed that out as someone who 'lacks the conviction to put others first' as he put it. Yet this girl beside her missed out on a lot of opportunities to get points due to her saving people. Something her dad and thirteen pointed out as someone who will be instrumental as a future rescue hero.
The boy who was being lectured got the second most points during the exam, all of them being villian points. His total was eighty-four points, the highest villian point in UA history was dwarfed by Ochaco Uraraka who got ninety points. She got fifty-five rescue points and thirty-five villian points to pass, the fifty-five points may have been her doing. She pointed while watching with the teachers how she did not hesitate to pull those three students out of the way of the zero pointer. Something Midnight and Mic was happy to side with her, her father, and the space hero Thirteen on in this instance. They were about to argue when Midnight suggested a lot of points, then Nezu spoke up saying how he agreed with them.
After he introduced himself she was hesitant to respond, despite all of her practice she was messing it up. As the brown haired girl asked her if she was ok, her father told them to go to their seats right away. She was grateful to him, until he told everyone to introduce themselves, something she knew he did because of her. "H-Hello, my name is Hi-Hi-Himiko Aizawa." She said quickly sitting down again. Everything was silent for a moment before shouts broke out all over the classroom about her and the teacher.
Aizawa had seen this coming and blasted an air horn he hid under his desk just for this moment. "All right before you all waste anymore time, I will answer your question now, yes she is my daughter." He said sighing as they got noisy again. He fired the air horn again.
Only for the one student, Katsuki Bakugo who was immune to it to scoff then give shit eating grin. "I see, you got this cowardly extra in." He said making him want to choke his new student for saying such a thing. That was when Aoyama spoke up from his formerly calm face to one of annoyance, something Aizawa had never seen before. "You have no idea how much more skilled she is than some ignorant brute like you." He said as the two boys glared at each other. With that he told everyone to put on the track suits he placed on the desk here and go change before meeting him outside.
Himiko was bombarded with questions in the locker room while getting dressed for the test. They kept on asking her things like how it is like to be raised by a pro hero, or what their teacher was like at home. Fortunately they let her off with vague answers as she reminded them he hated to be left waiting for other people. Though she was freaking out a bit on the inside, but managed to keep herself in check when she saw a girl who looked just like Aiko. With her black hair and onyx coloured eyes, she was a striking, younger image of the maid that betrayed her. She did her best to avoid her as she tried to approach her numerous times throughout the change room and test.
Momo was quite surprised to find out one of her classmates was the daughter of their teacher a pro hero. What surprised her more was how she looked nothing like her father, though it was not that odd for a child to look like one parent than the others. She was curious and tried to approach her in the locker room only for Himiko to rush out to the field. She said it was due to her father disliking his students being tardy, but she felt it was more than just that, it was as if she was avoiding her for some reason.
Judging by she behaved so skittish in class, Momo assumed she was just nervous with socializing. She tried to get close to her again during the test, despite their teachers bad joke when he said he was going to expel whoever came in last. Himiko manages to throw the ball for four-hundred meters, something that usually required a minor strength quirk. However when asked that she said to them that her quirk allowed her to copy the appearance of others, so her quirk was more suited for stealth missions than combat. When Momo tried to compliment her, she just shrugged it off mumbling how it was expected of a hero to be strong.
A part of her had a momentary suspicion that her father was cruel to her because of that response and her skittish behaviour. But them seeing how Aoyama joked with him and was talking to Himiko who was apparently her friend for a long time she dismissed such thoughts.
When the test was over a boy with purple balls for his quirk was crying saying how he was going to be expelled. "What do you mean, it was just a joke?" She said only to be given empty, glazed over eyes by Himiko and Aoyama. According to them he was being serious and only let him stay because he thought the kid had least a small amount of potential. "You two are just joking right?" Momo asked them only get a response that he had kicked out his entire class last year during this test. Apparently Momo was not as smart as she thought, it appears she has a long way to go before becoming a true top student. The rest of the class however were able to tell right away he was telling the truth, now she felt bad for not taking the test like them. It appears there would have been a chance of failure if she took it instead of accepting the instant admittance.
Aizawa was now questioning if Nezu made a mistake letting Momo Yaoyorozu in the class without any sort of test. Yes her quirk is powerful and versatile, but the girl herself was a bit on the air headed side to not realize he was serious. Unlike all her classmates she along with Shoto Todoroki were not fazed by what he said and did not give their all like the others. This was what he hated about modern heroes, shown in his students that he taught, which is why he expelled last years class.
Most heroes nowadays think a powerful quirk is all that you need to be a hero, that it allowed you to get away with any actions. However the students who fell into this category this year were on two different ends of the scale. One was born with a powerful and versatile explosion quirk that made him think he could talk shit to all those around him. His cocky attitude drew the heroes ire, however he was skilled enough with his quirk for Aizawa to understand his ego. Most likely his school had let him get away with any violence in the past due to his exceptional quirk, boosting his ego to this disgusting extent.
The other two were nonchalant one thinking it was a mere joke, though she still gave it considerable effort. But her lacking that sense of danger compare to her classmates made him worry she thought her guaranteed admittance from Nezu meant she was safe from expulsion. While the other was only using half of his power for some unknown reason, but Aizawa simply did not care for the reason. A hero who does not use his full power will only hinder his comrades putting civilians in danger by doing so.
A true hero is someone who could overcome any situation through physical strength alone if need be. That and they also made sure to prioritize the lives of civilians over their personal glory. This was something he did not like the Ida boy for, but like the Uraraka girl for as she made an effort to save other students during the test. He also questioned where the boy got the audacity to lecture others despite him ignoring the number one rule a hero needs to follow. The other teachers told him that they are just kids and to take it easy on them, but he could not. As heroes they had the lives of others in their hands on a daily basis, him and Nezu wanted to avoid creating anymore Endeavours as much as possible.
The rest of the class however understood immediately they were in danger of being kicked out anytime they slipped up. Something he appreciated as that meant he would not have to worry about them letting their guard down like Oboro once did. In any case his daughter managed to score the seventh spot on physical ability alone, something that made him call Cheri and tell her to go all out on dinner tonight for her.
