CHAPTER 6

AT AIZAWA FAMILY APARTMENT

Yesterday he told Cheri to make a small feast to celebrate her successful first day of school. Despite her awkward start to it, most of her classmates ended up loving her, the Momo girl especially seemed to be eager to make friends. However he noticed how Himiko was being weary of her, he wanted to ask his daughter but she clearly did not wish to talk about it. So he decided to let her be, though he did make a mental note to see Hound Dog about it later today.

That morning the first for him to see besides Cheri, who insisted he starts eating a proper breakfast, was Izuku. He was always so cheery and energetic in the mornings, despite how hard a time he had sleeping by himself. Despite it being a three room apartment Izuku and Himiko almost always slept together due to both of their occasional nightmares. Then came in Himiko who always woke up after Izuku as she had a habit of falling asleep only after he did.

Cheri was quite happy to see that Aizawa was getting use to eating with everyone in the mornings. Izuku and Himiko were also having less night terrors as of late, so she was happy to hear the new she heard yesterday. She was worried that Himiko would not be able to handle herself in front of so many people, she was quite happy. Also to find out that her classmates were excited about her was great news, she needs more than two friends, even if they are amazing friends. Izuku came before her as he always did, after they ate breakfast, Aizawa and Himiko went to school in a hurry. A few hours later that is when she noticed how they had forgotten the special lunches she made for them to eat together in the teacher lounge. Lunch Rush was a tad upset by this idea, but after she glared at him he had back down not wishing to incur the wrath of an angry wife/mother.

AT UA

Himiko had just walked into class when she was approached by half the girls of the class. This included Mina, Toru, Ochaco, and finally Momo who just listened to her response to the other girls questions. The classes went by relatively fast, then it came close to time to start the hero training course that All Might was going to be teaching today. As we were all discussing todays hero training class, as well as the rumour of All Might, the man himself came running through the door. He laughed heartily as he declared that we would be grabbing our hero costumes for training today.

Her hero costume was a black v-neck t-shirt with her belly button and bellow exposed so as to maximize movement. Then on one sleeve it goes just past her shoulder, the other sleeve going up to her wrist. On the arm where the sleeve that went just barely past her shoulder, she was wearing a finger less glove that went just past the past the elbow. For her lower half she wore knee length kilt that was black and green, along the bottom was multiple layers of purple capture tape that can be peeled off. Her foot wear was black boots with blue coloured steel plating from the tip of the boot going over the entire top of her foot. From the fabric of her clothes, to the leather of her boots, they have all been treated in order to be resistant to fire, acid, electricity. Also they are able to absorb the shockwaves from physical attacks as to minimize damage from punches, kicks, tackles and other such melee attacks. To top off her appearance was a green cat beret with yellow eyes that Izuku designed for her, it was made as the same treated cloth as the rest of her hero costume. Mei and her worked quite hard on it for the past year to perfect it, thanks to their hard work and practice she could hide up to thirty-five knives on her.

When they got down there All Might announced the teams for a two on two fight, the scenario was a bomb. The group being villains had to protect the bomb from the hero duo for until the time runs out, or they capture the hero students, which ever comes first. Hero team had to touch the bomb or capture all the villains, which ever they decided to do. Momo wanted to fight together with her, but she simply could not forget the maid that betrayed and how similar she looked like Momo. So she decided to fight one of them on her own saying it was better to divide and conquer considering their time limit.

All Might had told the other students to calm down as they noticed how Himiko seemed afraid of Momo. They were right, this behaviour was indeed odd to say, though he doubted Nezu or Aizawa would tell him if he asked. They seemed to be keeping something a big secret about her, just as he was thinking what it could be, Nezu entered along Sweep Queen and a green haired boy.

"Apologies but Himiko Aizawa mother and little brother brought a special lunch her mother made for her as well as her father to share today." Nezu said as all the students started getting loud. He asked the principal why he brought them here, but was told that her little brother simply wanted to see her train. Something that All Might fully believed as true, but it still made him wonder why Nezu seemed worried for half a second when he looked at the screen. All he could do now was hope that brief look Nezu had, is not a bad omen for things to come. The little boy seemed excited to watch his sister fight and the girls were crowding around him patting his head or hugging him. All Might now understood how Young Himiko looked very little like Aizawa, as she seemed to look more like her mother. They boy however looked kinda similar to Aizawa but not quite, well he could ask about that another day, for now he had training to focus on.

Katsuki Bakugo felt it was waste of time to fight either weakling so he decided to watch the bomb and wait for them to come. His partner however insisted he will cut off one of them to make the fight easier for the future number one hero, he was annoyed that his partner thought he actually needed help to deal with the both of them. But decided to let the extra screw up on his own, any cries for backup would fall on deaf ears as far as he was concerned. That being said, if he got the chance, he would gladly wipe the floor with high class if she dared to look down on him thinking she could win.

Momo had noticed how much Himiko was fidgeting, probably worried about her first real fight with someone else. She did not have much experience either, but she has read up on proper fighting technique and combat stances. With her creation quirk she could easily make them any weapons they needed, considering their opponents she could make what was needed.

"So then considering their quirks it would be safest to take down one of them first before we go after the other." Momo suggested before her partner ran off at the sound of the buzzer. Deciding she would try to follow her Momo ran after her, only to realize she ran much farther ahead. This was when it hit her, the physical difference between the two that was shown during the quirk assessment test. It seemed they will have to split up and hope that the enemy does the same thing, with this she decided to go straight for the bomb.

Himiko was getting worried as she was trying not to imagine Aiko every time they talked, but it was no good. To make things even worse for her, Doppel-chan was making unnecessary noise by trying to take over the fight from her. While running away from her team mate to fight solo for her team mate own safety, she also was suppressing Doppel-chan. After a minute of running she found Tokoyami at the other end of the corridor, realizing she had to fight now she threw a few knives to distract him. At the midway point of the corridor was a smaller side corridor that connected this one to the one on her left.

It was just out of his view, as such she decided to duck behind it while his dark shadow covered his vision to block the knives. Just narrowly getting to it in time she now pulled out a combat knife getting ready to ambush him as he would be unable to see it until the last moment.

Tokoyami had just got to the corner of the corridor to see Himiko Aizawa on the other side looking exhausted despite the fighting yet to start. She threw three small knives at him, leaving him no choice but to use dark shadow to block them, along with his view. After the knives fell to the ground he called back dark shadow to see she was gone, confused he tried to decide what to do. On one hand rejoining Bakugo and waiting out the timer was probably the safest bet. The downside was if she escapes him, there is a chance she can join Momo and the two can tag team Bakugo to overwhelm him before he makes his way back. On the other hand if he chases after her and catches her in time, he can join Bakugo at the bomb to overwhelm Momo.

Considering these two options only for a brief moment, he decided to go with the second as this one seemed more to his team advantage. He ran down the corridor to chase after her, she most likely went to the left to get past him, back to her team mate. Her exhaustion was a concern, but the worst her health momentarily was the better his chances were to defeat her. Running towards her as she was trying to escape him, she came out of no where from his right side with a combat knife. Using his dark shadow he blocked her attack, mostly blocked it, it seemed she was aiming for his lower ribs. Fortunately cause he barely managed in time she only nicked his ribs, if she had struck her intended blow, he would be on the ground unable to fight for a while, little lone move.

Normally heroes did not use things like knives or swords, except those who did knew where to strike to cripple without killing their opponents. It appears this was her fighting style of choice, and in these close quarters they give her an advantage over me. He recalled dark shadow only to see her run down a corridor that was in between where the two were standing before. Realizing she was waiting to ambush him, he decided that in order to win he needed to lure her to an open space where he had the advantage.

All Might was impressed but worried about her using a knife in combat as her quirk did not require it to work. "Nezu, are you sure you thought this through?" All Might asked the principal of UA who responded with a chuckle. It seemed though he would have to wait to see, as the match continued he was amazed by Young Aizawa tactics against her shadow wielding opponent.

Himiko continued to run forward as Tokoyami continued to smash through the walls while chasing her. Unfortunately for her she ran into a dead end, she had run into a large empty room with open space. It was the ideal place for her opponent to fight, however she could not let this decide the fights outcome. However he ran in before she could get out, guarding the entrance he attacked, launching dark shadow at her. Throwing a few knives at him she jumped to the side to avoid the attack as he also dodged her attack.

A large hole was opened up in the wall where she once stood letting in light, this gave her an idea. She began throwing knives, just nearly missing him with each strike, unfortunately for him, he was not actually dodging. After going through most of her small knives she got into the cat stance, a fighting stance where she stood on the tip of her toes focusing on her balance. This would allow her to nimbly dodge his next attack not matter how wide spread it was, as she predicted he charged at her with dark shadow.

"You fell for it, behold 'Knife Room: Light Censor Beams' my new attack." She said stepping out of the way of the hole she had been blocking. Light began pouring into the room, bouncing off the knives the room filled with white beams of light, like the one used to censor anime sometimes. They pierced her opponent dark shadow quirk, forcing it to retreat back to within the user as the room became unbearable for it to be in. It let out a sort of death cry before it faded though, making her wince at the close proximity to such a horrific noise. "I may not be able to erase my opponents quirk like my father, but I know how to disable yours!" Himiko said trying to keep her breathing steady. With her left arm straightened pointing at him, she was on the toes of her feet, sporting a small grin, and finally with her right arm her right hand was resting against the back of her head with her head looking slightly upward as if to look down on him. Though in actuality she was looking down at Doppel-chan for saying she needed her help to win this fight.

Holding that pose for only the briefest of seconds, barely one second in all actuality, she started to run towards him. Trying to use her capture tape she hoped to now tie him up and leave him here so she could take down Bakugo. However he recovered quickly and tried to trip her, only for her to land on her hand and push herself back towards him, attempting to kick him in the back of his head. However he spun around and caught her feet, quickly she spread her legs open, using the steel coated tips of her shoes to flash him point blank with light. Loosening his grip she slammed her feet down onto the ground out of his grip, before unleashing a right hook. This sent her opponent flying into the wall behind her passing out, as she approached him to tie him up in the capture tape she was knocked back by an explosion.

Katsuki Bakugo was wondering what was taking the extra he was paired up so long to return. When suddenly a flash grenade was dropped into the room going off, the rich girl ran in with a shot gun only for him to blow her away. "Why were you able to still see after I used my flashed grenade?" She asked him as she was passing out from his point blank explosion.

She wanted to know why he was not affected by her silly little toy? "Idiot, my explosion quirk makes me highly resistance to heat, shockwaves, loud noise, and bright lights." He said sneering as he stepped on her stomach for good measure knocking her out, deciding to drag her with him. He went down to see this girls team mate without the combat quirk take down bird boy, it looks like she may not be half bad for an extra after all. Still he had to win, dropping her friend he blew her away knocking her against the wall, going now to see if she was unconscious.

However she suddenly sprung to life pulling out two combat knives, holding them so they were sideways. The sharp side facing him, she ran forward, using his gauntlets to block what would have been a fatal wound otherwise. She sported a cheshire cat grin before letting out a cross between a low feral growl and pleasant purr you expect to hear from a house cat when you pet them under their chin. "The name is Doppel-chan, can I cut you up cutey?" She asked him before launching into an array of deadly attacks. When he tries to counter attack however she purposely aimed for his gauntlet to aim his hands at his own face just as he let off an explosion, everything went dark after.

One moment she was about to capture Tokoyami, the next she was hit by an explosion, now she was here again. Back in the same space where she met Doppel-chan before, however unlike last time she was bound in her own capture tape, currently being watched by Doppel-chan as she snickered at her. "Looks like it is my turn to play after all?" She said as though she were asking a question. However Himiko knew it was not an actual question, just as she was about to cry for help, they swooped down to help her.

Tokoyami had woken up to see that his teammate looked as though he had taken a point blank explosion in the face. That can only mean that Himiko Aizawa had managed to deflect one of his own explosion back at him somehow. In fact when he looked at her now, she looked much better than she did before, physical health wise, mental health she had appeared, to have snapped. She had a smile that was completely different than the one she had from before, also her eyes looked less human now, and more like a starved beast.

It looked as though she was going to go too far with Bakugo as she was licked her knives walking up to his unconscious state. Fortunately his explosion quirk cause the ceiling to collapse, blocking the hole and retuning the light levels to normal in the room. Unleashing his dark shadow he grabbed her from behind hoping she would calm down soon. However what happened next was something he could not have predicted, she bit his dark shadow with a mad giggle.

He now found himself in an empty, darkened room with two copies of her, one looking like his opponent from earlier. She was bound in what appeared to be her own capture tape, while the second one looked like her now crazed self. "Please run away, she will kill you!" The bound one said as the other began to laugh maniacally.

"How interesting, through your quirk as an intermediary, you managed to enter her mind when I bit your dark shadow." The crazed one said as she paced back in fourth slowly while still holding both knives. She looked at him as though he was nothing but a mouse, and she was a cat deciding how much longer he can entertain her for. "Unfortunately for you, you won't cut my play time short, Doppel-chan is the name by the way!" The crazed one said just before she lunged at me. I stood there taking her slashes one after another trying to avoid letting her hit my vitals.

All Might and the others were scared when Himiko looked like she was trying to purposely land fatal blow to Bakugo however what scared them most other than this. It was not her extreme switch in personality no it was, it was Tokoyami screaming in pain as his body constantly jerked around as though he was being stabbed. Even though he was actually being physically attacked, except for the fact that his dark shadow was being chewed on by her. Her brother was screaming about her calming down, and saying something about someone named Doppel-chan. Before I could go, or the timer ran out, which was in a few seconds, they both collapsed after they let out screams resembling those of damned souls. Young Yaoyorozu being the only one conscious in the end, however she had a look of terror on her face. Needless to say Young Aizawa mother pushed past him to run to the scene, he quickly followed her as he was their teacher.

The wounds were adding up, soon he would lose the ability to stand, wherever the hell they were. But by the looks of it, this dark spirit who called herself Doppel-chan was taking over Himiko body. It seemed the only way to save her was to hold it off long enough for her to get free… no. He had to do more than simply run the clock, he had to show this damned spirit that she was not welcomed her, or anywhere near her classmate.

As she tried to slash both sides of his ribs at the same time again, instead of stepping back like he has been with each attack he ran forward. This caught the dark spirit off guard, giving him the chance to grab her hands, redirecting the knives into his back. By press his body against hers the knives ran through them both, causing her to wail in agony as he clenched his jaw silently staying strong.

Moving his hands under her arms to hook her torso in a tighter grip, he grabbed her end of her hair. Pulling it back slightly as to prevent her from biting him, causing her to glare at him with unbridled rage. While she was busy with him his true opponent Himiko Aizawa had managed to tear herself free, this dark spirit noticed it as well. That was when he found them back in the physical world, his body was filled with all the pain he experienced from that other world. Fortunately that was without the physical injuries as he had suspected, even so he was moments away from blacking out due to the pain.

Using what was the last of his strength he pulled his opponent towards him, recalling dark shadow in the process. Before she passed out however, he heard her just faintly say "Thank you" before she herself succumb to the pain as he did.

Ochaco had been bothered ever since she found out that Himiko real last name was Aizawa. Why did she lie to her that day? It is possible she really wanted to make sure her dad never found out about the clothes thing. Considering how strict he seemed, she probably would have preferred to be scolded for playing hookey with her little brother than to admit she ruined some of his clothes. If knew about the clothes thing there was a chance he would have suspended her allowance, at least that is what seems possible.

Later that day they met her mother during the hero training exercises only to be taken aback by her beauty. It was clear which of the two parents she took after the most, she also questioned how her grumpy, exhausted father managed to get a wife like this. There was too many things going on that was making her head spin when it came to her classmate. Still she was slightly offended that her friend hid it all from her by giving a fake name, but she was still a good person.

Her fight was amazing, her skills with those knives seemed so natural it was spine chilling to imagine her as your enemy. Not to mention all the knives she kept on her under her hero outfit, how did she manage to hide that many while moving so agilely? Her specialty seemed to be stealth attacks as she managed to ambush her opponent with what seemed like relative ease. When he tried to lead her into an open space room where he should have been at a significant advantage, she turned it into a trap against him.

However after she took an initial blast from Bakugo she seemed to suddenly change personalities. As her attacks were clearly now aimed with lethal intent compare to before, then at one point her brother started panicking. He shouted something about someone named Doppel-chan, was it her alternate personality? Then she bit Tokoyami dark shadow, only for a something horrific to ensue.

He looked as though he was feeling some sort of phantom pain of repeatedly being cut deeply. He body was violently jerking around and he was screaming in pain until finally both of them roared their lungs out with one final banshee like scream. Passing out from pain All Might did not even have the chance to declare the match over before him and her mother were running towards them. Was her friend going to be ok after this?
