AT UA INFIRMARY

Recovery Girl had never seen, but has read medical journals about these types injuries, and complex was no where near accurate. Their nerves were strained to the point where they probably could not feel anything right now. More precisely their pain receptors were stimulated to the point that their spinal cords that were carrying said signals have gone numb right before they reach to brain. Fortunately it was only temporary, meaning they would be able to walk shorty after they wake up. When they wake up… well she frankly had no idea as to when that would be exactly, but a few days was her best estimate.

Aizawa was currently holding Himiko hand, the last time he got up to eat or go to the bathroom was yesterday afternoon. Mic and Midnight had tried to get him to go home, but he just shrugged them off, Nezu refused to say anything. Wether it was because he decided Aizawa would not leave until the two students woke up, or because he also felt responsible for this. Tokoyami parents were a tad infuriated, if tad meant greatly, however they knew the risks he was taking trying to be a hero so they calmed down quickly. Cheri would try to drag Aizawa back home, but she had to focus on her son as he was screaming his little head off shortly before they left. The last time she saw him like this was when Oboro died and it took him quite a long time to get over his death. Fortunately in four days they had awoken and Aizawa cried tears of joy, the other teachers were completely shocked by his never before seen joy.

Himiko had awoken to see her half asleep father holding her hand and her fellow student Tokoyami who was looking at her from the corner of his half open eyes. Before she could say anything to him her father noticed she was awake and hugged her tightly, slightly tearing up in what she assumed was joy. After Recovery girl chased him out due to the noise he was now making yelling in celebration, she gave her a check up. Apparently she was told it would take another day or two before she could walk, same went for Tokoyami. When the next day came however, she approached Recovery Girl about the topic outside of the nurses office. "Is there a place where I could talk with Tokoyami in private?" She asked getting a look from the old women.

"Here is the key to the girls locker room at the gym, it will be empty for the next three hours." She said handing her the key. She bowed her head and thanked the old women for her help going to grab Tokoyami while they had time. After about twenty minutes or so they had finally made it to the locker room, this would normally take five minutes, but their injuries slowed them down.

Fumikage Tokoyami was unsure as to why Himiko Aizawa had gone outside the room with Recovery Girl for some reason. Now that they were both fully awake and had left them in peace, he began thinking on what happened. Though he could not see any physical cuts on him, he knows for a fact that what he experienced in that strange space was indeed real to some extent. That other girl who looked nearly similar to her in appearance seemed… like she was a part of her, but was also a unique entity at the same time. This made him think about his own quirk Dark Shadow, like those two him and his quirk were connected but still had separate minds, as well as personalities. The main difference he could tell was that those two seemed to be at odds with each other, both wanting to be in control all the time.

It was true that Dark Shadow wanted to take control, but it was mainly when fights occur, as such he was able to satisfy Dark Shadow. He did not have a particularly strong desire to fight others, as he was more for research and the like, though he did want to be of use to society in some way. As such the arrangement of him becoming a hero allowed the two to coexist within his body in a somewhat peaceful way, with this they shared a unified purpose. He was trying to think of why her and her quirk was at such an imbalance, granted the same would happen when Dark Shadow was allowed out when it was dark. Her trigger seemed to have been something that were not as obvious as his, in fact it almost seemed there was no trigger at all. It was completely random as far as he could tell, well not completely random, it seems that her quirk had to wear down her mental state first.

Himiko Aizawa had come back in with Recovery before he could contemplate any further though pulling him to a new location. When they got the gym, she opened the door to the girls locker room and locked it sitting them down on a bench. They were silent for a few minutes before he spoke up getting a conflicted look in response from her as a result. "Why did you bring me here to talk?" He asked having an idea of some sort as to what she wanted to talk about.

"It was about what happened during our fight when we had hero training." She said putting her hands on her lap taking a deep breath. It was clear that this was something she felt bothered talking about, even so he respected her for doing it. Rather than running from her darkness she is trying to confront it, choosing to not let it consume her as it does most criminals. "I want to explain to you about my quirk, Doppel-chan, I believe you met her, she was the one you had to stab by stabbing yourself?" Himiko Aizawa said as a fact, but came out as more of a question.

"Yes, I believe it would be more difficult not to remember what happened." He said remembering the phantom pain he felt in his mid section. It was no easy feat to take her other self down last time, if asked to do it again he was unsure if he could endure that pain again. "Your quirk is similar to mine, it has a conciseness correct?" Fumikage Tokoyami asked her already sure of the answer.

"Your partly right, my quirk does have a conciseness, but unlike yours she does not get along with me." Himiko Aizawa said with bitter acceptance. His quirk may have been violent, but at least it understood they had to work together in order to live. "All she wants is to see people bleed, to be crying out in pain." She said shivering slightly at some unknown memory he could scarcely guess at.

Reaching out he grabbed her hands in his, as he looked at her with the most empathy he ever felt for someone else as he understood her situation perfectly. "I have fought with my own quirk plenty over the years…" he said pausing trying to think of how to phrase the next part. "…any harm your quirk has ever caused others was never your fault, you are not, and never will be, a monster." Tokoyami said deciding to go with what his mother told him once when he was little. The next thing he knew she began to cry a river of tears as she leaned forward into his chest. Normally he would push her away as he was not too good with emotional stuff like this, but this time he endured as he was the only she could lean on at this moment.

At some point she began sobbing into his chest before she could give him her full explanation that she wanted to give him. After some time had passed finally stopping herself, Himiko Aizawa had gathered herself enough to continue talking. "Despite figuring out I hurt, even killed people because of my quirk, your not afraid?" She asked him getting a sideways nod with what she assumed was a smile. His bird like head made it difficult to tell wether he smiled or was making some other facial expression.

"I can only guess how horrific it was when you killed someone, or rather when your quirk did." He said to her making her tremble slightly. When most people hear you murdered someone they never bother asking why you did it. On a news report she saw a month or so after she killed Aiko, there was a man who killed his wife in self defence. She was a pro hero and he was a support gear engineer, she had apparently tried to force him to shut down his workshop. The idea of him making support gear for heroes besides her was 'apparently' inappropriate, so much so it 'apparently' gave her a reason to abuse him for months.

Logically speaking he made more money than her, as a result they relied on his pay checks from his private customers. One day she nearly killed him, but he fortunately fought back, only to end up killing her by accident. Right now he was rotting in a prison cell because no one cared that his life was in danger when the altercation happened, and he had a normal quirk! If someone like her with a blood quirk was brought to trial she would be given the death sentence for sure, assuming they could ever catch her. "My real name is actually ***** Toga" she said seeing his shocked expression hurt by the look he gave her.

"You are the girl who narrowly avoided being raped by her families maid?" He asked her picking up his fallen jaw. She was just about to turn away when he suddenly said something that made her choke up in joy upon hearing. "It will be a dark and unsure path to control Doppel-chan, but I will be there to walk through this darkness alongside you." Tokoyami said staring her in the eyes.

"Thank you, I will gladly accept your help with training." She said hugging him, despite the awkward look in his eyes. Afterwards she began telling him about how she met her little brother, the rest of their classmates met before. Though his liking to the occult was something she would have preferred Izuku to not learn from him, he agreed to help train Izuku with her. Even if his bloodlust was a simple side effect of his quirk, with the right training it could become easier for him to handle it when it comes out.

That was when suddenly the door to the locker room was unlocked and opened, with it opening came a group of girls. It appeared they were all third years, but that did not make any sense, Recovery Girl said they had… three hours? When she looked at the clock she realized that three hours had indeed passed by, now they were facing a crowd of blushing and smirking girls who were their seniors. Among them there was a familiar girl with blue hair who ran out from among them to pull her into a hug, nearly suffocating her with her chest.

Nejire Hado was given the key to the locker room by the teacher, expecting just another hero class where she would be the last to leave for the day. However that was when she walked in on a boy and girl sitting across from each other with her sporting a huge smile. She was about to tease the girl before the others in her class could when she noticed who the girl was… it was Himiko-chan!

Running up to her Nejire pulled her into the biggest hug she could manage asking her about her new boyfriend. "So who is the cute bird boy you brought here for privacy?" She asked her getting a panic response from her. It was always enjoyable to say the least, to tease her juniors about an interrupted romantic rendezvous. Though she was just happy to see that Himiko was finally awake after the incident that put her into a brief coma. When she heard a hero training exercise went horribly wrong she was fearing the worst of it when Himiko was apparently involved. The fact that she was here canoodling with a boy was a good sign that her health had improved dramatically. However it must have been awkward for her as her boyfriend here was the other individual who was out cold in the nurses office with her… well they at least seemed to have made up after the incident.

"He is just I friend I wanted to explain something to…" Himiko fell silent as she looked at her fellow classmates behind her. Deciding that she was telling the truth, disappointingly enough as she would have loved to discuss romance with her. Nejire excused the two and got her classmates to focus on getting ready for their hero course lesson, still though she is happy that her junior is opening up. Compared to when they first met, she is handling herself much better now when it comes to being the centre of attention. Something she was worried about for her as a hero was usually in the spotlight one way or another, her father is an underground yet even he gets talked about fairly often on the news.

Momo Yaoyorozu was still unsure of what she saw a few days ago during their class with All Might. The hungry, almost animalistic look in her eyes were something that seemed as though it was someone else looking through her eyes instead of her. This sent shivers down the spine of Momo, who up till now had never experienced such fear before. That look was the complete opposite however of the one she held before the two separated. How Himiko could go from scared, almost sickly even, to a wild beast craving violence and blood like some starved predator who has been months, even years without decent prey.

She was walking through the halls when suddenly she saw Himiko and Tokoyami who was her opponent walking towards the main school building. Running up to them she noticed how despite her puffy eyes, Himiko Aizawa was received, happy even. "Excuse me but… can we talk Himiko Aizawa?" Momo asked her worried she would refuse. Passing the key Himiko had in her pocket to Tokoyami the two of them made sure he got into the building before heading off to behind the school.

"So what was it you wanted to talk about?" Himiko Aizawa asked her while she was resting with, back against the wall the wall of the school. Despite the fact she was walking around with only a little bit of help, it was clear she was still in a bit of pain. "I wanted to ask what that was… that happened with you during the hero exercise." Momo in a hesitant manner not wanting to push the girl further away. After some time, her explanation about her past came to an end, the same one she gave to Tokoyami earlier, which explained why she appeared to be so happy despite also having clearly cried her eyes out. He had accepted her despite her past, and despite how dangerous it would be, offered to train her so she would not have to fear ever losing control again.

Having felt relieved at the fact that she did not make any sort of love confession to him, put her heart at ease. Though she had never told her parents, she was never really interested in boys at all, she always felt herself drawn towards cute girls. Himiko resembled something like a perfectly crafted doll, but obviously made of flesh and bone not porcelain. Her blond hair that she had grown out to midway down her back flowed beautifully in the wind, like a curtain of gold. Golden cat like eyes that made you feel like wanting to lay back in peace and stroke her head while you held her in your arms as soon as you looked into them. A smile that was playful and overflowing with warmth, so much so that it could melt away even the most frozen of hearts. All these things combined made her want to protect the girl even more, however it was not the main reasons she fell for her.

Even though she had said she was the daughter of a pro hero, it was clear that she had come from a similar high society as her. The main reason she fell so hard for her, as quickly as she did, was because she felt she could understand her struggle. Trying to fit into society despite their quirk, for Momo most thought it was easy to get close to people due to her quirk. But in reality it made it difficult as most she met, only wanted to use her as a tool for their own selfish gain. Deciding now was the time to make her move, she moved forward slamming one hand beside the girls head, with one of her legs spaced between hers. Using her other hand she tilted Himiko face upwards as she leaned hers down, taking in her blush and slight tremble. Closing her eyes as she brought their lips together in a gentle touch, surprised by the pleasant feeling of Himiko leaning into the by getting her tip toes. Taking this as a sign that she liked it, Momo brought her arm around and behind Himiko back, as a sort of cushion between it and the wall, before pulling the blond girl closer to her.

Himiko was surprised to say the least when Momo Yaoyorozu had suddenly kissed her, but like how much more gentle it was compared to when Aiko did it. Suddenly the image of Aiko who always came to her mind when she looked at the black haired girl began melt, leaving the actual image of her classmate all that was left. Deciding to trust her she responded to the kiss, by getting up on her tip toes, leaning into the kiss. As she did this Momo had begun pull her closer with the arm she had wrapped around her just seconds before. She could hear the other girls heartbeat for what felt like hours, but in reality was only a few minutes when she noticed the time after they had pulled apart.

"Will you go out with me?!" Momo exclaimed as she asked her a question she was quite happy to hear.

"As soon as I am let out of the school infirmary." Himiko responded smiling, a genuine smile she had only ever shown around her true family and her few friends.

After exchanging contact information Momo brought her to the infirmary, making sure to leave before she opened the door. Recovery girl had asked her if something had happened, after a brief conversation was finished a message was sent. Momo and her agreed to take her out on their date the day after tomorrow, though to her surprise her mother helped her prepared for it before she had a chance to tell her. Though she had no idea where Momo was going to take her, they agreed to meet at a bus stop just a few minutes away from UA.

Recovery Girl was exhausted when Himiko Aizawa had finally returned to the nurses office, at least she would have been if she was not grinning ear to ear. When Tokoyami returned but she did not something felt off to her, he was currently asleep due to some pain killers she had given him. If she was supporting him on the way here he would have been fine, but thanks to him returning by himself, the strain he put himself through walking back caused significant pain. Right now however, she was overwhelming curious as to the grin, or rather the reason behind it. "So did anything significant happen I am unaware of?" She asked her getting a telling response.

"I am going on my first date as soon as you discharge us." She said quietly as she was giggling with a slight blush as she shuffled her feet together in one place. Between her words and the way she was moving her body right now, it led to quite the surprising reveal as to why her other patient was reluctant to answer her before. He had asked her how to talk to girls, but when she asked him elaborate as to why he asked, he went silent refusing to give her an answer to her question. Thinking back to what she said to Nezu a week ago she decided to tilt things in the young mans favour, by letting them go early by giving them some weaker pain killers.

"In that case, so long as you can put up with a little bit of pain I will discharge you two tomorrow, and give you two some… slightly less effective pain killers." She said pointing to the passed out patient. Needless to say the girl was quite happy, so much so that she was squealing with joy for a moment before wincing in a bit of pain. After doing a quick check on her she gave her the pain killers with some food and put her to sleep in the bed alongside the boy. She said that her date would be the day after then, this made sense as he needed time to go home and get ready for it as did she. Once she was sure the young girl was fast asleep, she dialled Nezu from her office finally deciding to take part. "Nezu, I have changed my mind, put me down for thirty-thousand Yen on Fumikage Tokoyami." Recovery Girl said hearing a shocked gasp at the other end. Once she was told that she was added to the list of the people who was betting on the young girls first love, she called the mother of the girl. Making sure she knew that Sunday was when the day that her daughter needed to be ready, after agreeing to a few things she left for the night happily.

AT UA NEZU OFFICE

He had been shuffling some paper work when suddenly he got a call from Recovery Girl saying she wanted to place a bet. Wondering who it was she deemed a suitable partner for the young lady that had captured the hearts of the staff as a whole. When she had said it was Fumikage Tokoyami, it worried him that she had finally gone insane suggesting that occult obsessed young man. Saying she was betting thirty-thousand Yen on him, but he knew better than to question her judgment without good reason as he remembered the hardness of her cane.

Taking out his betting book, he went to the page with this particular bet and added her name to the list. All Might had refused to participate as he said it was an inappropriate example to set for his students if they had found out. Hound Dog chastised them for taking such a young girls feelings so lightly, especially one as damaged as her. However both men decided to stay neutral not saying anything to Aizawa as they said the others would pay in the end. Power Loader stayed out of it saying he had an unfair advantage, Nezu however did not hesitate to use it. Nezu decided to bet on her placing one hundred-thousand Yen on her, as he had both his observations and Hound Dog previous opinion to back his decision.

First was Midnight who despite being a sexual deviant ninety-five percent of the time, she had incredibly keen eyes. She placed fifty-thousand Yen on Momo Yaoyorozu who was a strong rival for Mei Hatsume if her looks he noticed her giving Himiko were anything to go by. Present Mic was next as her loyal friend trusted her instincts on this subject but bet on Ochaco Uraraka after he found out the two met before. Ironically he bet twenty-thousand Yen either as an homage to her financial situation, or because he felt his female friend was more accurate than him. Third was Vlad King who said that most likely she would fall for a bold young man like Ejiro Kirishima. He bet fifty-thousand yen on him saying that only a real man like him could pull that shy girl out of her shell, though he understood the simple logic, it was still a bit off from the girls actual taste in suitors.

Fourth on the list was Cementoss who bet that a quiet simple young man would suit that gentle girl best. As such he bet the young man named Mezo Shouji would be most likely to make the most success with her as she also seemed like a simple girl herself. Due to his deductions he bet thirty-thousand Yen on him, like Recovery Girl he also was not one to make any large bets. Thirteen was next, she had placed her bets on Ochaco Uraraka as well, more so as the girl wanted to a rescue like her, naming thirteen her favourite hero in her application. However unlike Present Mic she bet forty-thousand Yen saying her adorable charms were sure to win the heart of anyone her age, be them male or female.

Lunch Rush was sixth as he placed his bets on the boy named Rikido Sato, who was apparently a skilled baker. Due to his quirk requiring him to ingest sugar he became quite skilled at baking as store bought sweets were expensive. It is said the best way to win a girl over is through sweets, following this logic, Lunch Rush decided place his bets on the muscle bound baker with a humble forty-thousand Yen bet. Finally was Snipe who founding out they were best friends due to my comment at the entrance exam, assumed they were childhood friends. Assuming that the cliche of the childhood friend confessing to her first, he bet sixty-thousand Yen on Yuga Aoyama. Normally due to his quirk he is known for being the most accurate, but now with this mistake, Nezu would forever poke at him with his metaphoric stick, especially when he ever bragged about his quirk.

AT TOKOYAMI HOUSEHOLD

was in the middle of preparing dinner for her husband when out of the blue she got a warm feeling in her chest despite not having any reason to. "Why do I suddenly feel as though I am going tp be meeting somebody soon?" She asked herself out loud as she tried to place this feeling. That was when it occurred to her a few moments later, this was the same feeling she got before she was introduced to her husband by their mothers who were friends.

AT AIZAWA RESIDENCE

Izuku was sleeping soundly after his tantrum earlier when he was told he could not see Himiko yet as she was still recovering. Shota was asleep in their room right now, as he was getting even less sleep than he use to before now. She was preparing dinner for when they woke up when she got a feeling that she would soon meet someone who would make her happy. Later that night while she was setting up the dinner table she got a call from Recovery Girl saying tomorrow her daughter would be released, and that she apparently had plans with a special someone. Needless to say she decided to prepare some clothes and makeup to bring to UA tomorrow and asked Recovery girl to keep her their in the infirmary till the special day, which was apparently Sunday now thanks to her.
