A normal day in the future, of course, Leo was practicing, with Cody and Master Splinter, Don was working on getting a robot to work better with Mikey, all with Sterling comparing about it. I chose to do something that we're really important to me. Sitting cross legs, in front of what Cody called a chemistry set. Pulling my hair up into a messy bun, working on getting health potions and other potions. That I would need, Cody had been nice and get it for me, much to Sterling's dismay, thinking that I would blow up the apartment. As well as finding a shop that sells everything I need for this. Watching as the potion began to glow a bright blue which meant it was working correctly. Smiling brightly that is the fact it working. I knew I need to work on getting more of my charms and potions. Looking over at my grimoire that Cody happily gave to me.
I already told Cody that I will happily show him some magic and teach him a few things, to which Cody happily said yes. Sterling was not having it as well, which made me just laugh at him.
(Tabs P.O.V)
"Come at me, Ava," I said sniping the weighted end. "Come on Ava."
"But I don't want to hurt you," Ava said gripping her short sword.
"Ava comes on," I said. "You need to get this training done."
Ava took a breath and ran at me, short sword at the ready. Easily used the chain, pulled it out of her hand.
"Yet again you beat me," Ava said.
"You just more practice." I reasoned handing over the sword. "Do you want to try with the fan?"
"No," She muttered. "Why it is so hard?"
"Like Master Splinter, Patience precedes genius young one," I said.
"When my patience is wearing thin," She said. "Why can I just get it?"
"It takes time, patience, and practice," I said.
"It sucks that what it is." Ava groaned and muttered a few choice words.
"Ava?" I questioned.
"Don't talk to me right now," She said. "I need to cool off." She then walks away.
"Give her time she will get used to it," Don said.
"Where do you think she is going?" I asked.
"Possible going to ask Alex something," Mikey suggested.
"Probably," I muttered.
(Ava P.O.V)
Why was this hard, it looks easy for Alex, Tabs, and the Guys but I feel like I can't do anything right? I know that Master Splinter told me that it would take time and patience but I wanted to be good at this now. Hoping that Alex might have a quick way of getting good at this. Walking into the room to find Alex with her back to me working at her chemistry set, which she instantly call a potion kit.
"Ah, Alex?" I asked.
She held her hand up to silent me, being quiet.
She then turned to face me.
"Yes Ava," She said with a smile. "What's up?"
"Uh, I was wondering," I started. "I was wondering if there is a spell or potion that will help me to get better at training."
"Let me guess practice with Tabs didn't go so well." She said.
"Yeah, and I need something that will make me better at fighting," I said.
"Unfortunately you have to practice and train to get better Ava." She replied.
"What you don't have a magic spell or potion for it?" I questioned.
"I'm sorry Ava but I got nothing for you." She muttered.
"Are you serious?" I questioned.
Tabs walked in and knock making both of us look at her.
"Yes, what do you need or want?" Alex asked.
"Cody wants to show us something awesome." She said.
"Got ya," Alex said hopping up and turning to face us. "Come along Ava. We are right behind you Tabs,"
Tabs turned away walked away. "Like I said before Ava you just need to practice and train."
Alex gave a smile and walk away, not believing what Alex wouldn't offer me help.
(Tabs P.O.V)
Causing of what Alex and Ava were talking about, but I could tell that Ava was not happy about it.
"So what is this awesome thing?" Alex asked appearing next to me.
"Something about training and practice," I reasoned. "Can I ask what did you and Ava were talking about?"
"You have to ask Ava about that, not me." She said walking past me to get to the others.
"So Cody what's the big surprise?" Raph asked.
"Does it include munchies," Mikey said. "I'm on empty."
"Really Mikey?" I asked. "You have been eating all the time."
Cody just offered a smile and open the door to show a large and massive building that look much like a turtle shell.
"What do you think?" Cody asked. "It's a new dojo for you guys to train in. Sterling helped build it."
As we walked closer the door slipped open to show Master Splinter and Leo waiting with a smile.
"It's a hollow simulator with pre-programmed battle scenarios," He pulled out his remote and click which made the simulator change to be like a dark alleyway.
"And 523 high-res background modes," Leo added.
Cody tap the remote and the room changed to a winter mountain.
"Kicking graphics," Mikey said.
Cody did it again and it became like the old west.
"It's like dojorama extreme," Mikey said as dust weed rolled off. "Sweet."
"Forget it just give me a wooden post and a practice dummy," Raph said.
"Sure," Cody said and changed the place to look like the old lair, making everyone look in shock and awe.
"That's not what I meant," Raph growled which make Cody look sad and made the dojo look normal again.
"Raph," Alex muttered.
"Raphael," Master Splinter said. "A true warrior must always adapt to any new situation or surrounding besides young Cody-san has worked hard to provide you this space to sharpen your ninja skill. You should be grateful."
"Yeah I know," Raph said and shoulder smashed Cody. "Thanks, kid."
"This is awesome Cody," Alex said.
"As a reward for your boundless generosity Cody-san, Leonardo has my blessings to start you on your own ninja training."
"Really?" Cody asked happily as can be. "All right where do we start hidden tiger attack," He started to pretend to attack. "Five finger phoenix death blow."
Both Raph and Leo stop him and both Leo and he sat down ready to mediate.
"We start at the beginning," Leo said. "Meditating on the connection between the body and the mind."
Both of them shut their eyes and meditate well Leo easily meditate while it was hard for Cody.
"Ah this is not what I had in mind," Cody muttered.
Right as the dojo shook and flashed on and off.
Mikey reached down and lifted the remote and pushed a few buttons.
"Hey, Cody the controls don't work," Mikey said.
"Probably just a power surge," Cody said. "I'll have to reboot the system."
"Ah you should boot the whole thing," Raph growled.
"You guys hang tight," Don said. "We'll go get Cody's pocket tab and have the dojo back online in a jiffy," Don said.
Giving everyone a nod of the head and raced after Cody and Don.
Looking at the screen, trying to figure out what was going with the power surge.
"Weird I've never seen anything this like," Cody said typing on the hover keys showing a blueprint of the penthouse with a red surging line causing through it. "Something spiking through the wiring like a power surge but it's registering as a program by the system software. A huge program bigger than anything I've ever seen."
"Why would there be a computer program moving through your building's power line?" Don asked.
"It wouldn't," Sterling said walking over holding a mop. "Yet another example of the fallibility of organics allow me to access the penthouse grid."
As soon as he did, a bright red power surge through and into Sterling, who started to attack us, hitting Don with the mop.
"Sterling!" Cody yelled rushing to stop him only to get thrown into the wall.
"Sterling stop this," I ordered reaching for the access core. He slammed his metal arm into my chest, sending me flying into the wall-winded. Looking up to see Don was still fighting Sterling and the mop.
"It's not me sir." Sterling cried out. "I've lost control of my motor functions."
"You're enjoying this," Don said pulling his bow staff out. "Aren't you?"
"Believe me I've been tempted to bludgeon you more than once but this, not my doing," Sterling said.
Don landed a kick which unplug Sterling, Don rolled over to us. Sterling stop moving before turning to face us with red eyes.
"I think we've got a big problem," Don said.
"You think?" I asked as we rushed to stay up.
(Alex P.O.V.)
The rest of us were waiting for the others to show back up, which was caused Raph to get grumpy.
"What's taking them so long?" Raph asked.
"Patience Raphael." Master Splinter said.
"Yeah not my strong suit," Raph said. "I'm out of here," As he walked to the door, which shut before him.
"Hey."
A red light appeared in the wall, moving around like a snake.
"This can't be good," Mikey said.
The red light moved to the center where a red light static face appeared with a yellow face and mouth.
"You're not going anywhere," A female voice said through the face and started to laugh.
Looking unsure of the face, instantly got ready to fight if needed.
"What the shell is that?" Raph asked.
The face laughed and disappeared.
"Why do I get the feeling she's laughing at us," Mikey said. "Not with us."
A few panels on the walls opened, when ninja stars started to fly at us. Leo started to slash the ninja stars away.
"I knew this Robo-dojo was a bad idea," Raph growled jumped out of the way of spinning saw, Master Splinter narrowly avoided only to be shocked by a taster and fell back
"Master Splinter!" Leo yelled catching him.
"Perhaps it would be wise to sit this one out." Master Splinter muttered.
Narrowly avoided the taster and saw blade, glancing over to see Ava was avoiding the ninja stars.
(Tabs P.O.V)
Narrowly avoiding being attacked by Sterling as we rushed to the dojo to try to break the others out. Cody try to use his remote to open the door which of course it didn't work. Hearing the footsteps turning to see Sterling was in the doorway.
"Guys open up!" Don yelled banging on the door. "We've got trouble out here."
"Tell me about it!" I heard Leo yell.
"Something's controlling Sterling and the dojo but how," Cody said.
We turned to see that Sterling was closer, pulling my bow out. Pulling an energy arrow at the ready.
From Sterling red energy floated up forming a red light static face appeared with a yellow face and mouth.
"Subject Cody O'Neil," A female voice sounded. "Interfacing, I am Viral a quantity platform digital over the construct of infinite subtlety and power."
"Modest isn't she?" Don asked.
"I have uploaded here to extract from O'Neill tech mainframe," Viral said.
"O'Neill tech what do you want with theā¦" Cody started.
"The O'Neill tech building is off the power grid," Viral said pulling up a map showing the penthouse. "So I've come here to your penthouse, the only remote location in the city with a hard-wired direct connection into O'Neill tech's central banks." A picture of O'Neill tech appeared. The map shut down.
"Yeah with about a gazillion firewalls and exponentially encrypted security can we say unbreakable?" Cody said.
"Indeed," Viral said getting in Cody's face. "Unless you give me the password."
"And why would I do that?" Cody asked.
"Because if you don't I will destroy your little pets that I've trapped in the dojo," Viral said.
"Cody, Tabs run!" Don yelled.
Grabbing Cody and dragging him away, Don attacked Sterling and ran after us.
"Run all you want but your friends can't." I heard Viral say.
(Alex P.O.V.)
The red face reappeared.
"I need the password to O'Neill tech mainframe and toying with you is going to get it for me." She said.
"Bring it, lady!" Raph yelled. "We're giving you a good old-fashioned turtle smackdown!"
"Vertebrates such slow learners." She said.
The dojo transformed into an old-time saloon with humanoid animals in old west gear.
"We've been transported into some sort of battle scenario," Leo said.
"That or a Saturday morning cartoon," Mikey said.
The music stop and they all looked at us. "Huh-uh, howdy partners."
One of the barkeeps a cat-like creature head transforms into a red thing with long hair sticking up.
"Make it loud boys." The female voice ordered, causing the humanoid animals to advance. Causing a fight at once.
"I love cow punching!" Raph yelled.
Finding myself back to back with Ava.
"Ready?" I asked.
"You know it," Ava replied.
The two of us took out two of the villains, as we retreated only to end up back to back again.
"Hold on," I said, grabbing Ava's arms.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"Hold on to my hands and use your legs," I ordered.
Feeling her hands grip, causing me to spin her around using her feet, kicking the villains left and right taking out some of the villains.
Having taken out all of the villains.
The woman reappeared. "Most impressive," She said. "But now let's see how you handle level two,"
Turning to see that we were getting surrounded by the villains again.
"I'll leave these drones to take care of your time to pay little Cody another visit."
She disappeared and the cat's face reappeared.
(Tabs P.O.V.)
"Must regain control," I heard Sterling argue. "I refuse to let this digital jezebel dominate my system again."
"It's not polite to refuse a lady," Viral said and walked past our hiding place.
"I think we have a few minutes," Don whispered looking out. "Before she comes around again."
Cody opens up the remote showing the blueprint, showing the red energy of viral.
"She's a massive program," Cody said. "She's infected most of the subset codes but maybe we can quarantine."
He tap something, which made a beep, Don's face told us not well. The ceiling ripped up showing us Sterling, we took running away from them.
"Naughty things," Viral said. "I possess every segment of circuitry in this building you can't simply double click and drag me to the trash."
Don and I pulled our weapons at the ready.
"You better get out of here Cody," Don said. "We'll hold her off."
Right as Viral hit Don sending him flying back.
"Sorry about this Sterling!" I yelled shooting arrows. Sterling swipe them away, he threw a punch into my chest sending me flying into the wall.
"You'll do no such thing just give me the code and I will spare your lives," Viral said lifting up the cook robot. "There's nowhere to go."
"Wanna bet?" Don asked as we stood next to him.
Don used his bo staff and broke through the window, grabbing both of us and running us through the window.
"Hold on!" He yelled.
As we flew down, screaming our heads off.
"Maia!" I yelled with my wings appeared slowing our falls.
Don slammed his bo staff into the wall, bringing us to a sudden stop.
"Relax Cody I think we're safe," Don said.
"You call this safe," Cody cried.
"Trust us," Don said. "This looks like our floor."
He kicked the vent open and slipped Cody in first, hovering down and crawling in.
"Maia," I said.
Don followed up the rear. Crawling through the vents until we reached somewhere safe.
"We need to get into the system again," Don said.
"What good is that?" Cody asked showing the blueprint. "Going to do gonna do you saw what when we tried to delete her."
Looking over at the blueprint trying to look for a way to get Viral out.
"An enemy always reveals her weakness, and how she attacks," Don said. "Watch and learn young ninja, viral said she needed a hardwire connection to access the mainframe and she only gets Sterling because he was plugged in if she can't go wireless and we shut down the power around the building, she won't have anywhere to jump to."
"When we killed the power to this building," Cody said. "No power, no escape, she'd be purged from the system wow. Computer hacking ninja style."
"Moving over boys let the infamous Wings do her work." I teased pulling my hair into a bun.
Don flashed a smile, while Cody looked surprised and in awe.
(Alex P.O.V)
After the lady disappeared, we kicked butt and made peace with the town folks, so we enjoy our time.
"What now?" The lady voiced questioned.
Raph cleared his throat as we meaning Raph, Leo, and I was playing cards, while Mikey and Ava were playing the piano.
"What took you so long partner?" He asked with a tip of the hat.
"You!" She screamed. "You due to mock me?"
Red electrical rip through her.
"Yeah it's sort of what we do in between kicking butt," Mikey added.
"The boy is no longer in play." She said.
Causing all of us to shoot up from our seats.
"What she say?" Raph questioned. "If you hurt Cody."
The saloon began to sip and fizzed out.
"What is this?" She questioned.
(Tabs P.O.V.)
"It's working," Cody said.
"The building is completely isolated," Don added. "From the city."
"Nowhere to run nowhere to hide," I said typing away fast. "When we do this." Hitting the final keystroke, power around the penthouse began to fade out.
(Alex P.O.V.)
The red woman began to scream out in pain and floated up losing the cat's body, the world began to spin faster and faster.
"I'm gonna lose my lingure," Mikey cried.
Gripping my eyes shut, trying to blackout everything. Causing to the ground, carefully open my eyes to see that the dojo was back to normal with the turtle shell pattern.
"Are we dead?" Raph asked. "This won't feel like the dead."
Mikey groaned out.
"Who cares as long as we can lie down?" He said.
"Ginger aid and crackles," I muttered.
The lights turned back on, with the door opening to find Cody, Don, and Tabs alright.
"Are you guys alright?" Cody asked.
"Well look who missed all the fun?" Leo suggested.
"That's a fine way to say thanks for saving your sorry shells," Don said.
"Saving our shells?" Raph questioned.
"I cut off power to shut Viral out," I said. "By hacking."
"Not surprised," Alex muttered. "I need a ginger ale."
"Viral?" Ava asked.
"The thing that created all of this chaos," I said.
"Are you sure what about the lights?" Leo asked.
"Battery-powered, like my pack tab they're not connected," Cody said showing the tab.
"Uh, Cody there isn't anything else in the building that can run without being plugged into the system?" Don asked, "Is there?"
The dojo began to shake, making all of us look like a part of the wall was ripped open to show a red practice bot climbing through.
"Only the brand new practice bots," Cody said.
"You had to ask?" Raph asked. The bot began to change to show Viral. Red electrical shot out.
"Well, this certainly wasn't part of the brilliant save the day plan," Don said.
"I detected your clumsy gambit, and found this construct charging its power core before shutdown." She said.
"You just made a big mistake Viral it's ninja time!" Don yelled as we pulled out our weapons.
"Just because you can't hide in the walls and throw your toys at us!" Raph yelled.
"Exacta Mundo!" Mikey chimed in. "You're getting to upload an interface full of kick-butt ninja action," He launched himself with the rest of us jumping in. Making quick work of the bot's arms.
"Like my disarming personally."
Don slammed into Viral back sending her flying.
"You scratch my back!" Raph yelled, slamming his Sais into Viral back. "I'll scratch yours.
Surrounded Viral jumped of the way and run making the rest of us give chase, jumping over Sterling who was in the way. "What's your hurry sweetheart?"
Sterling groaned loudly, she pulled herself up to the elevator. "Going somewhere, you can shell it out but you can't take it."
"No getaway," She growled throwing the doors at us.
"Sorry but you're going down!" Leo yelled as we rushed her and sent her flying down the elevator shaft, a heavy and painful thud sounded.
"Talk about a total crash," Don said causing us to laugh.
(TL)
"Checked every inch of that elevator shaft," Raph said. "Nothing, she hightailed it out of here."
"We ran a complete scan of the mainframe no sign of Viral there," Don said. "The system's clean."
"I wish I could say the same for this room," Sterling said.
"You did well my sons and daughters," Master Splinter said coming into view.
"Master are you all right?" Leo asked rushing over.
"I believe so Leonardo," Master Splinter said. "Cody today you saw a fine example of how a ninja needs to develop both mind and body, victory required both the keenness of Donatello and Tabitha's minds and the endurance of their siblings' bodies."
"Okay Master Splinter," Cody said. "Now I understand."
"Well let us now all resume Cody's training." Master Splinter said.
All of us except Raph sat down and started to meditate, Raph pulled the hover newspaper.
"Now maybe I'll get some peace and quiet." He said going to sit down.
"Please select a comfort setting," I heard the chair ask. "Or extra."
"Oh, I hate the future!" He yelled.
Causing me to laugh my head off.
Okay, that end of chapter 101 more is coming please tell me what you think but please use Constructive criticism.
