ABOUT ME: Female. High School.

MY STORIES: So I like to write to write Naruto fanfic. I follow many other fandoms, but this is the one I've been hit with inspiration with. There are so many characters with so much potential that I feel like it'd be a waste not to write about them you know? I mean I know Kishimoto said that he wasn't sure how to write girls but I feel like Sakura had the potential to be an extremely multi-faceted character like Sasuke, Naruto, Itachi etc.

My early works basically all focus on Sakura as the central character. I went through a big Akasaku faze as you can probably tell from them. Probably still am. So yeah, lots of oneshots arose from that phase.

OK. So. I should be doing productive things right now but instead I'm on fanfiction and just really lamenting over some poor characters which had so much potential and just... meh.

Like Sakura. I mean massive respect to Kishimoto for creating such an epic universe, but just the potential that Sakura's character had - I mean, she was set up to be just as amazing as Naruto and Sasuke and it just, I don't know, flopped. And can we also just have a moment for poor Itachi who was so amazing but so unlucky. RIP.

And into another verse which I don't really dwell that long in - Twilight. Yep. I, like I'm sure most of us did at one point, did decide to experience Stephanie Meyer's Twilight verse, if at the very least to see what all the fuss was about. A character in Twilight whom I thought had a lot more potential - well, okay, there're lots, but, and many of you may not agree with this - Rosalie. I mean her past was horrific, and her mentality would have been so good to flesh out. I won't go too deep into it because it's definitely a sensitive topic, but I feel like she had the potential to have so much more depth to her character. Oh well. And can we also have a moment for poor Leah who's life just absolutely sucks.

And into Harry Potter. I seem to have a thing for the unlikable girl characters but I don't know - Fleur. I know that there was so much hate for her and she was annoying in the fourth book, but once again her background and her context would have been so good to flesh out. She's French, so she's not as involved with the whole Voldemort thing, but then she goes ahead and marries Bill. Once again, a relationship I think which would be really good to read about - their characters seem so disconnected that the writer would have so much scope with writing their characters. And then with the thing with veela - like, what does Voldemort think about Veela? Does this influence her and Bill's relationship? How does she deal with being the character that everyone hates? She's not accepted into Bill's family so she's all alone in this new country in the middle of a war no less and I don't know. Maybe I'm just thinking too much into this because I read an amazing fanfiction about their relationship.

UPDATES:

Currently not working on any one-shots. I'm a bit iffy about CB at the moment - it's very close to finishing terms but TVMF is taking up heaps of my time. And I'm currently more motivated on that fic so yeah, that'll probably come first.

Future fics (very tentative):

Untitled Time Travel (ItaSaku): Sakura goes back in time to stop the Uchiha massacre. She's successful but goes into a coma straight after defeating Itachi, waking up nine years later to find that she's still alive and free. She'd been the personality known as Inner the whole time, suppressed from anti-psychotic meds her previous self had been taking - the reason for her 'psychotic break' which stopped the massacre.

Long Legged Fly (SasuSaku): Sakura works for Inoichi, head of Intelligence for the government as a bodyguard for his daughter Ino. He's currently housing Uchiha Sasuke, a high-risk prisoner who murdered his entire family. Ino falls in love with him. Things get complicated.

Konoha Academy (AU, AkaSaku): Sakura gets accepted into a prestigious Academy, but everyone seems to be trying to the new kids. The school is not all it seems, and the only place she's safe is with a certain group called Akatsuki.

AU Untitled (ItaSaku): In an alternate universe Konoha comes to an agreement with the warring state Akatsuki to stop the war. Sakura, one of its most prominent fighters, is given to Akatsuki as a peace offering. She's placed under the supervision of Uchiha Itachi, the one who fought against her in the war. Complicated pasts are revealed, stuff happens...
