Tension
Its been two weeks since the weird encounter with Ember. Sam was back from her trip and Tucker had finally gotten enough harsh rejections to give up on getting hooked up for the time being, So the trio was back together. They were all getting out of class right now. "So what should we do now guys?" Danny asked. "Ooh, The newest version of Doom is out in stores, let`s go see if we can get it." Tucker cheerfully proposed. Danny smiled at the idea while Sam just rolled her eyes. "Lets do it! Race you to the store Tuck!" Danny sprinted forward. "Hey! No head starts. You cheater." Tucker whined and took after him. Sam just sighed in annoyance at their immaturity, but didn`t wanna be left out. "Guys wait up!" She chased after them. None of them noticed a certain ghost watching close by while overshadowing a girl from their school to avoid triggering Danny`s ghost sense. A scowl appeared on her face. As she continued to stalk the trio. "Gonna have to split their friendship up next. And I got the perfect idea."
Later that day the trio had left the videogame store emptyhanded. "This stinks, how could they already be sold out?" Tucker whined. "Guess it really was a much anticipated and desired game by everybody." Sam nonchalantly said still not really caring much. Danny was also bummed out about it. "How about we go over to my place to watch a movie tonight." Sam suggested trying to cheer them up. "Sure, why not." Tucker said dejectedly, knowing he had nothing better to do, while Danny nodded in agreement. The three proceeded to Sam`s house, later on the walk however Danny`s ghost sense went off and he heard the sound of a motorcycle driving behind turning around he saw Johnny 13 heading towards them who shot a blast at them from his bike and drove right past them. "Catch me if you can loser." He taunted, successfully annoying Danny. "You two go on ahead I can handle Johnny by myself." He took off not even giving them a chance to respond. "Well it`s only Johnny, he`ll be fine." Sam said. The two both continued heading onward, Sam`s house was just around the corner now so they went inside and went to the downstairs movie theater. "So should we start without Danny?" Tucker asked but he and Sam quickly noticed a certain someone floating across the other side of the room. "How`s it going Dipstick`s?" Sam`s eyes narrowed in anger while Tucker became nervous at her presence. "What the fuck are you doing here Ember?!" Sam demanded answers. "Well let`s see here?" She playfully pretended to ponder what she was planning and then used her Telekinesis to slam the door shut and keep it so they could not open it preventing any escape if they tried. "I`m here because as far I`m concerned the two of you have no place in my Babypop`s future." She answered in a malicious tone of voice. "Your... Babypop?" Sam asked confused and agitated. "I would love to explain but you just aren`t worth the time for that, now let`s get on with the fun shall we?" Ember got her Guitar ready to play a cord and switched it to the heart knob, playing her next power cord for the soon to be new couple to hear.
Meanwhile throughout the streets Danny was chasing Johnny down on his motorcycle. Johnny sped up abruptly and significantly in the matter of seconds, phasing through any solid object in his way. Danny sped up in response but could barely keep up, eventually Johnny had led them to the outskirts of town before doing a skidding U-turn and racing right towards Danny blasting him with his bike. Danny had no time to react and could only take the hit head on causing him to fall back to the ground. "I`d say that`s enough fun to consider this a job well done, catch ya on the flipside kid." Johnny had decided to quit while he was ahead, disappearing as quickly as possible. "Dammit Johnny." He groaned in frustration. "Might as well head back to Sam`s, I ain`t spending the whole night chasing that loser." With that Danny headed back to Sam`s.
Danny had finally made it down to Sam`s and headed inside and down to the basement where they should have been watching a movie. "Sam, Tucker. I`m here now, Johnny got a... way." He came down to see his best friend and his love interest kissing one another passionately and lustfully while staring into each other's eye`s with pure love and bliss. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!" He freaked out. They both stopped kissing finally noticing him. "Oh hey Danny, what`s wrong?" Sam asked. "What`s wrong? Your making out, since when the hell are you guys a couple?!" He just couldn`t wrap his head around it, there was never any romantic spark between them, he knew it, they knew it, nobody ever got that vibe from their relationship. "Well I just never noticed how beautiful Sam is, she really pulls off the goth look well." Tucker said staring at Sam dreamily. "And I never realized how cute Tucker looks with his red beret." Sam stared back with an equally dreamy expression on her face. The two locked lips again right in front of Danny. 'They really just fell in love?' Danny thought to himself, as he felt his heart shatter seeing the girl he liked so intently with another guy who just happened to be his best friend. He ran out of the house tears rolling down his face.
Two ghosts were staring at him from afar. Ember McLain and Johnny 13. "What exactly are you getting at here Ember? Seems like there`s something bigger goin on here then just breaking the punk`s heart." Johnny asked as he was leaning his arm`s on the handlebars of his motorcycle. "I`m going to take over the world and this time I won`t fail, I`m gonna make that ghostboy my lover whether he wants to be or not." Ember stood straight with her arms crossed and her back turned to Johnny as she answered him. He was noticeably weirded out and confused by that second part of her statement. "You did your part well Slimeball, getting them separated momentarily like this was just what I needed, thankyou for that, now If you`ll excuse me I have a concert to put together." Ember teleported away, leaving Johnny to go about his business. 'Hope I get that reward my precious Kitten promised me for helping Ember with her creepy ass plan.' Johnny thought with a perverted grin at the thought of his reward before driving off back to his and Kitten`s place in the ghost zone.
So here`s chapter two, hope you enjoyed. The space`s are just scene breaks because a lot more events unfolded here than in the first chapter where it all took place in one setting as opposed to taking place in multiple settings here. I should have one more chapter left for this story now.
