Dan 10 Reboot S2 EP 21: Drone on
New Intro:
The screen is black, only for a bolt of green lightning to makes a flash of white light as upbeat music is heard. Side-by-side via split screen Dan and Hotaru stands, smirking at the camera as a black with green bubbles background is on Dan's side as Black with purple stars was on the girl's. They both raised their left/right arm, and both transforms as Dan emits a flash of green light while Sailor Saturn thrust her scythe high as black lighting surges through it.
"DAN 10!" "He's a kid and he wants to have fun!"
Wildvine grins with hands on hips as a close-up of his face appears on the background while Sailor Saturn is next to him as a bolt of lightning comes down.
Heatblast flies across and freezes as the same thing happens to Four Arms, leaping out of an explosion.
"But when you need a superhero, he gets the job done!" "DAN 10!"
Shock Rock smashes his fists together, sending out waves of electricity as Sailor Saturn channel energy into her scythe and slashes at the 4th wall..
"With A device that he wears on his arm." "He can change his shape and save the world from harm!"
Dan poses with his Ultimatrix, just as headshots of Shock Rock, Water Hazard, Big Chill and Wildvine show up, one-by-one.
Cannonbolt was staring at Grey Matter, who hops along a bunch of platforms with the watch symbol on it as the round alien was confused. "When trouble's taking place."
Sailor Saturn was then running towards the screen. "He gets right in it's face!" "DAN 10!" Four Arms, Heatblast, XLR8 and Diamondhead's headshots shows up as well!
A green circuit board background is shown as 5 ultimate aliens shows up in a row as Dan was staring at the left side. The aliens are Diamondhead, XLR8, Cannonbolt, Four Arms, and Heatblast. "When lives are on the line."
The same thing happens with Sailor Saturn staring at the right side. The aliens are now: Big Chill, Water Hazard, Grey Matter, and Shock Rock, which is still in normal form. "It's hero time!" "DAN 10!" It ends up with Dan and Sailor Saturn, posing together as the aliens were side-by-side with them as well.
Dan and Kate were making Paper Airplanes while Hotaru is trying Origami at the park near the big lake. Dan tosses one, only to frown as it merely crashed after a few secs. "Darn it!" "Dan, you need to brush up on Aerodynamics, if you want to beat me. I've been reading this book on the principals of flight for a project of mine. And your little plans are not ready for flight." "WHAT?! What about Hotaru? She's not making airplanes." "Because I'm doing something else, instead! Origami. The art of paper folding. Look! A majestic crane." She showcases her creation as Kate was amazed while Dan looks bored. "That's really good, Hotaru." "Whatever. I'll show you Aero… whatever you said. Ready? Go!" They both chuck there planes, only for Dan's to crash again. "Again!" But no matter how many Dan made and throws, his planes kept crashing while Kate's kept flying farther. Dan's last ne hits in a Trashcan as the boy got annoyed and walks off with a stomp. "Guess, Dan can't compete with Human Ingenuity." Kate throws her latest one, only for a shock blast to burn it into ash as the girls turns towards a smug Shock Rock dusting his hands off. "Sorry! But your flight has been grounded, due to unexpected lightning!" "Dan! That is so immature of you, you doofus!" Hotaru rolls her eyes as she sighs at another sibling argument, deciding to do some bird watching to enjoy nature.
But unbeknownst to the kids, at an old car factory that is miles away from Canterlot City strange devices were being created on a conveyor belt as they were placed in charging stations. A large shadow pulls a lever, activates the saucer alien drones as they all flew out heading out to do who knows what.
Back with the kids, Dan has timed out from Shock Rock as he is eating Marshmallows while Kate is busy trying Origami when Hotaru spotted the robots. "That's weird… Come on, guys! We need to go!" "Why?" "I spot something that is really concern. Let's meet up with Ms. Celestia at the RV."
The woman drives the Rust Bucket after the drones as she spoke out. "So, why am I following these strange robots?" "I just got a bad feeling about them." "Huh… those things look familiar…" Dan mumbles as he can't help, but seen this type of robot before. "Anyway, I see them. And there turning left!" The Rust Bucket makes the turn as they slowly catches up with the drones, only for some to turn around and fires red lasers. "Lasers!?" Celestia swerves as she dodges them as Hotaru turns into Sailor Saturn. "I'll handle them!" She got onto the roof and swings her scythe, sending energy waves that destroys some. "Come on! Time in!" But all Dan got is a red glow as he growls out. "Silence Rings!" Sailor Saturn fires the rings as she destroys more, just as more drones starts targeting her as he dodges them, making her retaliate with her Silence Hurricane Spin to destroy some as they got close. Sailor Saturn makes her Silence Wall as she protects against the lasers, just as the Rust Bucket stops when the Drones flies upwards. "Great! Now what?' Dan cries out as Kate heads towards the back. "I have an idea! Remember that project I mentioned about?" "What about it?" Dan askes as Kate got some stuff out. "I have a way to catch up the drones."
Kate has now assembled a blue glider as she straps a helmet on. "Whoa! You built a glider?!" 'Yep!" "Very impressive, Kate." Hotaru smiles out, impressed at her friend's handiwork. "How do you even know that's going to work?" "One way to find out, bro!" Kate took off as the winds carry her up high like a bird. "WHOOOO-OOOOHHH! This is great! So this is what Dan feels like, flying like Big Chill! HEY, YOU FLAOTING TIN CANS! COME AND GET ME!" She cries out as the robots noticed and chase after, making dive down to the ground and pulls up at the last second, making a couple crash. "If Rainbow can see me now…" Kate smirks as he kept using her glider to outmaneuver the robots while making them crash into each other and things. "This is pretty cool! I wonder why Dan and Hotaru should have all the… Uh, oh!" She cries out at seeing reinforcements arriving in front as he turns right, only for lasers to blast at her. "Yahhh! Lasers!"
"Uh-oh! She's in trouble! Come on…" Dan grins as the gauntlet beeps as it was ready. "All right!" FLASH
Dan has fires spreads all over as rocks pop out of his body, forming his new alien body as his skull turns into a rocky one as fire engulfs it, revealing his new faceplate. He then evolves to the next level as fire burns in the background.
"Cool! Or should I say, hot?" U. Heatblast grins out as he spreads his wings and takes off as Sailor Saturn watches. "Sure wish I can help…" 'You can, by believing in them." Celestia assures as she smiles at the young girl. "WHOOO-OOOH! This beats Kate's little glider! Time to deep fry the doughnuts!" he then starts blasting fireballs that took down the robots as they exploded. The robots then starts heading towards him, but he flares his body up and rockets ahead, taking on the appearance of a flaming comet as he blasts through them. "All right!" He notices more coming as he grins out. "Time to do the twist! He then starts spinning in a rolling fashion and fast as he breaths out fire, creating a sideways flaming twister that destroyed them as well. "Now that's Aero….dynamics? Did I get that right?' He then saw even more approached. "Great! No matter! I got plenty for all of you!" Only for the Ultimatrix to time out as Dan has a wide eye look. "On the other hand… AHHHHHH!" Dan screams out as he plummets down at a rabid pace, only for Kate to swoop by as he grabs and holds on, flying away from the drones as Dan took some breaths. He then notices his sister's smug expression and deadpans. "You are not letting me forget this, aren't you?" "Maybe…." "I should have just token my chances with failing, instead." Only for more lasers to interrupt them as Kate grunts as she steers, just as one beam knocks bits of the glider wing off.
"I can't steer with your weight, bro!" "Hey! Are you saying I'm fat?!" "No! it's just this Glider is made for 1!" "Well… Things can't get any worse." On cue from Dan speaking the infamous saying, one of the drones got near the glider and beeps, blowing itself up as the kids cry out. "These things self-destruct?!" "Don't you know you're not suppose to say that!" Kate scolds her little brother. Dan notices something weird with some of them. "Wait! Where are some of them going?" "Huh?" They both watch the drones head towards the Nuclear plant and broke in, then leaving with red glowing rods. "What are they carrying?" "Glowsticks?" They nearly dodged a laser as Dan cries out. "On second thought, let's save the mystery until we lose the ones chasing us!" "Any ideas?" Dan notices watch is recharged with Grey Matter selected, making him smirks out. "Yep! Fly me close to ne them! I'm taking matters into my own hands. "Kate rolls her eyes and groans out. "You and your puns…" Nevertheless, she manages to U-turn and flies above some drones as Dan cries out. "BOMBS AWAY!" The boy lets go and slaps down, turning into Grey Matter and manages to land on a drone, sticking to it.
"And he sticks the landing! Now then, let's take a look under the hood…" Grey Matter lifts the top part above and crawls into the robot, observing it's contents. "Hmmm... Sophisticated, but nothing I can handle! Now then… just need to bypass this central processer and rewire the mainframe. As well as override the program matrix and work on the wiring mechanism and… Presto! A little alien know how, and the toaster is mine!" Grey Matter grins as the lights turns green as the Drone is now his to control. "Now to set new targets…" The drone then starts firing at the others as Kate smiles out. "Way to go, Dan!" She then turns around and rolls her glider, smacking 3 more drones into the ground. "Not bad for a Earthling, huh?" Suddenly, a drone came from behind and cuts at the glider, just as Grey matter blasted it. Unfortunately, the wings split into 2 as Kate starts falling. "DAN!" She cries as the alien races to the rescue. "Don't worry, Kate! I got matters in hand! Pun not intended." "Seriously?!" She groans out at her brother's habit of making jokes and puns at times like this, but nonetheless, Grey Matter starts bringing the robot in as he did some quick work on the glider, as the 2 girls on the ground watched in horror. "Oh, no!" "Come on, you 2! Please!"
"Dan! The ground is getting closer!" "Already done!" He declares as he manages to strap the robot on his sister's back as it pops out the Glider's wings. "WHOOO-OOHHH!' She declares as she manages to continue gliding. "Yes! They made it!" "Thank goodness…" Sailor Saturn breaths out. "Wow! Is this what Batman is like when he glides?' "Yep! Pretty cool, right?" Grey Matter smirks out, only for them to noticed the thief drowns and follows them to the factory. As they land, both of them peeks down a hatch to see the drones inserting the rods in a machine. "Why would they go into an abandoned car factory?" "I doubt is to make cars, considering they don't have arms or legs." "Wait a sec…. Those are Nuclear power rods! Heavy machinery, power rods… That could mean-" "Just then, a rumbling interrupts Grey Matter as they glanced to see something breaking out of the roof, prompting the teen to grab her transformed brother and takes off.
"What is that?!" "A giant Airship!" "What?!" Kate cries out in shock as a giant ship broke out of the collapsing factory, revealing a hi-tech ship that has a similar look to the drones with 3 thrusters and one underneath the central component. "Who would build that thing!?" "One way to find out! The bridge is at the center." Grey Matter replies as they glide closer as the grey shield opens up, revealing…. "VILGAX?!" "Of course! It makes sense now." Grey Matter breaths out as the sight of his Arch-Enemy. Vilgax glances up and saw his sworn foe and his sibling. "Well, well… it appears we have visitors. Time to give the most, unfriendly welcome." He pushes a buttons and makes lasers fire at them as one tore a small hole in the glider. "Kate! Are you okay?" 'Yeah… that small tear didn't affect us." She reassures as Grey Matter declares. "Time to fight back!" He then uses the drone to fire back at the ship. "Attacking me with my own scout drone… Cleaver, but useless." He pushes another button as the drone stops firing. "Wha?" "I did not invited guests, Tennyson." "He's communicating via the drone." Grey Matter points out as Vilgax answers. "Correct. And now that they have supplied my new battleship with sufficient power, there services are no longer needed." The drone's color turns red as a computer voice spoke out. "Self-Destruct sequence initiated."
"Kate! Make haste for the lake!" "Got it!" She responds as she quickly turns the glider towards the lake, barely reaching when Grey matter quickly detaches the robot as it had reached 2. It exploded as the 2 barely got out of the blast as they both landed in the lake. As the Rust Bucket pulls up the shore, the 2 emerges and gasps in air to see Vilgax's new ship took off to parts unknown. The 2 got out and were shivering from the cold, wet lake water as Celestia brought towels to help them dry off. "Are you 2 okay? Are you both fine?" "Yeah, Hotaru…. We're okay." Kate told the 11-year old as the adult spoke out. "What was that?"
"Vilgax… He got away again! Way to go dude." Dan glumly answers as he felt bummed that he let Vilgax escape when he had him. "You both fought hundred of drones and Vilgax, by working together as a team! In my book, I say that is a win." "She's right, Dan. We will get Vilgax, next time. Because we're both partners. And we have each other's backs. That's what makes a team." The Japanese girl smiles as she places hand on the boy's shoulder as she slightly blushes from close contact as Dan smiles out. "You're right…. Partner." The all got into the RV as they know they will catch Vilgax someday. But for now, they will rest and relax for a bit.
