Drakkor Ferros Snare
Poni Island: Altar of the Sunne
The heroes stood on guard as Drakkor Ferros gave off an intimidating presence.
"Drakkor Ferros, why is he here?" Gladion asked.
"This could be bad," Lana said.
Then, Drakkor Ferros broke the silence by speaking. "I originally planned something else to draw out despair from humans, but now I come here and see the Legendary Pokémon: Solgaleo and Lunala. With their power, I won't need to gather negative emotions and Lord Malummox's return will come much sooner!"
"We won't let that happen!" Ash said.
"Yes, we won't allow your evil master to return!" Lillie said.
"If that is what you intend to do, then allow me to put you down," Drakkor Ferros declared.
"Just try it! Flash Cannon!" Ash fired a beam of metallic energy at Drakkor Ferros who dodged it.
"Very well, I shall entertain you," Drakkor Ferros said.
Drakkor Ferros spread out his arms and charged up a ball of energy that he launched high into the sky, where it became an egg that hatched out a knight-like figure in silver armor and equipped with a lance, riding an indigo dragon.
The knight and dragon flew down toward the heroes to attack, with its lance ready.
"Metal Claw!" Sophocles used his sharp metallic claws to catch the knight's lance.
Chris and Martin flew in somewhat close and Chris distracted the knight while avoiding its lance, allowing Martin to land his own piercing attack on the knight with his beak.
"Rock Slide!" Mallow materialized several big rocks and launched them at the knight.
Then, the dragon breathed out fire at the heroes, but Kiawe fought back with Flamethrower.
"Hurricane!" Gladion flapped his wings to release a rapid spiral of wind that trapped the knight and the dragon.
"Dragon Rush!" Lana's body became enveloped by blue, dragon-shaped energy, then she flew high above the knight and the dragon before swooping down for a diving attack.
The knight and the dragon took a lot of damage and began falling, causing Drakkor Ferros to dismiss them.
"You have some skills to take down my mook that quickly. However, I still have more tricks up my sleeve." Drakkor Ferros said. "You see, back then, thanks to Enigma, I learned a bit of valuable information."
"'Thanks to Enigma?'" Mallow said.
"Whatever it is, I'm sure he plans to use it against us," Kiawe said.
Then, Drakkor Ferros formed another ball of energy in his hands and launched it high into the sky.
This time, the energy ball grew larger instead, and soon, a crystalline figure emerged from the sphere, and soon, it was revealed to be a figure resembling Ultra Necrozma.
"Now he's made a copy of Necrozma?!" Sophocles asked.
"Not only that but also as the Blinding One!" Lana said.
"This one might pale in power to the Blinding One, but it will be enough to get the job done." Drakkor Ferros declared.
"We'll see about that," Gladion said.
Copy Necrozma roared and fired a silver energy beam at the heroes, who managed to dodge it.
"Pikachu, Thunderbolt! Garchomp, Dragon Pulse!" Pikachu and Garchomp, with the former riding the latter, fired both their moves at Copy Necrozma.
Copy Necrozma was hit by the attacks and was forced back a little.
"Flare Blitz!" Ash enveloped himself in flames and rammed into Copy Necrozma.
"Moonblast!" Lillie gathered energy from the moon to form a pink energy orb that she fired at Copy Necrozma.
"Dragon Pulse!" Gladion shot an indigo dragon-shaped energy beam at Copy Necrozma.
"Dragon Claw!" Mallow slashed Copy Necrozma with her claws glowing with green energy.
"Aqua Tail!" Lana's tail became enveloped by a spiral of water, and she hit Copy Necrozma with it.
"Fire Punch!" Kiawe ignited his fists on fire and punched Copy Necrozma.
Kiawe and Sophocles managed to grab onto Copy Necrozma's wings and managed to keep it in place.
"Time to get pecking!" Chris said as he and Martin rapidly pecked Copy Necrozma while it was immobilized.
But then, Copy Necrozma managed to free itself and thrashed around, forcing Kiawe, Sophocles, Martin, and Chris to fall back.
Chris got a peregrine falcon feather out of his Creature Souvenir Collection and used it to change to Peregrine Falcon Power. "Activate Peregrine Falcon Power!"
Then, Chris grabbed onto Sophocles with his talons and flew high into the sky before coming down for a stoop.
"Here we go! Maximum stoop speed! Let it have it!" Chris said as he flung Sophocles towards Copy Necrozma.
"Zen Headbutt!" Sophocles landed a psychic energy-imbued headbutt on Copy Necrozma.
Copy Necrozma had taken damage and the crystalline parts of its body became black like the depowered Necrozma.
"You've done a good job weakening it. However, it has one more trick up its sleeve." Drakkor Ferros said. "It may have taken quite the damage, but its power has increased as well."
Then, Copy Necrozma flew straight towards Lillie and grabbed her.
Lillie struggled to break free, but could not as Copy Necrozma began draining energy from her.
When it was done, Lillie was split from Lunala and got knocked out as she started to fall, but she was caught in an energy sphere while Copy Necrozma itself became a crystal cage around Lunala.
"Lillie! Hold on, I'll save you!" Ash said as he flew towards Lillie to free her.
"Don't get distracted!" Drakkor Ferros said as he launched another energy ball into the sky, creating another Copy Necrozma, this one in the form of the depowered Necrozma.
"No there's another one?" Martin asked.
"Go," Drakkor Ferros ordered the second Copy Necrozma after Ash.
Ash tried to keep his distance from the second Copy Necrozma, but it seemed to be gaining on him no matter how many times he changed direction.
Ash's friends all tried to cover for him, but the second Copy Necrozma knocked them aside with a beam attack resembling Prismatic Laser.
The second Copy Necrozma launched its arms at Ash and successfully grabbed him.
Pikachu tried using Electroweb on the second Copy Necrozma, but it quickly broke free and caught up with its arms.
The second Copy Necrozma drained energy from Ash and split him from Solgaleo, before changing into a crystal cage to contain Solgaleo.
Ash fell unconscious and started dropping to the ground while also losing his hat; Pikachu and Garchomp made their way to save Ash, but he ended up getting caught in an energy sphere just like Lillie.
"A fine catch. I have everything I want, along with an extra bonus. There is no reason for me to stay here any longer." Drakkor Ferros said, then he headed back for the dimensional crack with his quarry in tow.
"Stop!" The remaining heroes tried to go after Drakkor Ferros to save their friends, but Drakkor Ferros made it through with Lunala, Lillie, Solgaleo, and Ash, and the dimensional crack closed before the heroes could make it through.
"No!" Gladion said.
Ash, Lillie, Solgaleo, Lunala!" Kiawe said.
"They're gone," Mallow said, dispirited.
The heroes could only watch in shock as their friends were taken away, and the only means of chasing after them had been lost.
