Ultra Space: Unknown world
In Drakkor Ferros's lair, the heroes continued to wander around, looking for Solgaleo and Lunala.
"Anyone have any idea where Solgaleo and Lunala might be?" Sophocles asked.
"No. That's why we're stuck wandering around blindly." Mallow said.
"I wish there was some way we could sense them, but it's not the same as Burst Hearts," Lillie said as she took out her Lunalium Z.
"Yeah, if only we could do that," Ash said as he took out his Solganium Z.
Then, the two Z-Crystals began glowing, much to the heroes' surprise.
"The Z-Crystals are glowing!" Ash said.
"Could this mean something from Solgaleo and Lunala?" Lillie asked.
Ash and Lillie pointed the Z-Crystals around and soon started heading towards the direction where the reactions were stronger.
"Do you really think we'll find Solgaleo and Lunala this way?" Gladion asked.
"I don't know, but right now, this is our only lead!" Ash replied.
Then, the heroes encountered some more guards.
"We've got company!" Chris said, and everyone got ready to fight.
"Burst!" Kiawe, Gladion, Mallow, Lana, and Sophocles used Burst to combine with Marowak, Lucario, Serperior, Jellicent, and Heliolisk.
"Activate Dragon Power!" Martin and Chris activated Dragon Power.
Chris and Martin started off by blowing strong winds at the guards to knock them off balance.
"Aerial Ace!" Ash formed a blue energy sword and used it to cut down some guards.
"Gyro Ball!" Lillie folded up into a ball and spun rapidly as she rammed into the guards.
"Bonemerang!" Kiawe threw his bone like a boomerang at the guards.
"Meteor Mash!" Gladion hit some guards with punches fired hard like meteors.
"Frenzy Plant!" Mallow planted her tail into the ground, making giant spiky roots grow out of the ground and strike the guards.
"Hydro Pump!" Lana fired a powerful jet of water at the guards.
"Parabolic Charge!" Sophocles shot out multiple electrical blasts at the remaining guards to shock them.
After defeating the guards, the heroes resumed chasing after the glowing reactions of the Z-Crystals.
Meanwhile, Drakkor Ferros watched the heroes' progress through his looking glass.
"The escapees and intruders may be making progress, but their luck will soon run out." Drakkor Ferros said as he turned away and left the scene.
Back with the heroes, they came to a room where they found Solgaleo and Lunala trapped in energy spheres.
"It's Solgaleo and Lunala!" Lana said.
"The Z-Crystals did lead us to them!" Kiawe said.
"Now we have to get them out of there!" Martin said.
The Ultra Guardians sent out Garchomp, Altaria, Charizard, Noivern, Flygon, Dragonair, and Metang, and had them use Hyper Beam, Dragon Pulse, Flamethrower, Boomburst, Rock Slide, Thunder, and Flash Cannon on the energy cages, with Chris and Martin adding in a fire breath and lightning attack into the mix.
The attack didn't shatter the energy cages, but they left their mark as the cages were shown to be cracked.
"Okay! We haven't freed them yet, but we still made a few dents!" Chris said.
"If we keep it up, then we'll have Solgaleo and Lunala free in no time!" Martin said in support of Chris's statement.
"You're quite correct. But that's only assuming if I let you do so." Drakkor Ferros's voice was suddenly heard.
"Drakkor Ferros! He must've found us out!" Sophocles said worriedly.
"I have been keeping watch of your actions in my lair, and I do not condone you lot running around like you own the place," Drakkor Ferros said with contempt in his voice.
"Well, that's your fault for capturing Ash, Lillie, Solgaleo, and Lunala in the first place!" Mallow said. "If you hadn't done that, then we wouldn't be here in the first place."
"Foolish ones. You shall know the consequences of your folly soon enough." Drakkor Ferros said, and everything was suddenly silent.
"It's all quiet now," Lana said.
"What's going on? Why did he suddenly go silent?" Kiawe asked.
"He's probably got something planned. Get ready." Gladion advised.
The heroes raised their guard for whatever tricks that Drakkor Ferros had to pull, however, none of them expected for the ground beneath them to give away, dropping them into a hole.
Chris and Martin quickly stopped their falls with their wings while the Ultra Guardians were caught by their Ride Pokémon.
The heroes then safely descended to the bottom and noticed how the surrounding area was pitch black.
"Dark. Why did it have to be dark?" Sophocles said as his fear of the dark took over until he got the idea to use his electricity to create a light source. "Ah, much better."
Then, the surrounding area lit up, showing that the heroes were in a large arena as on one corner, torches lit up to reveal Drakkor Ferros, alerting the heroes immediately on guard.
"Drakkor Ferros!" Ash said.
"Now, let the battle begin!" Drakkor Ferros said as he demonstrated a show of his power level by giving off some of his energy.
