Malummox Invasion
Melemele Island: Hau'oli City
On the fourth day of Malummox's awakening, the people of Hau'oli City were going about their carefree, ordinary lives. However, that soon began to change when the sky suddenly darkened and a black vortex with crimson energy bolts opened up in the sky. Then, an image of Malummox appeared.
"Finally, a world ripe for conquering. Yes, this one will do nicely." Malummox said, then he spread out a dark mist everywhere, and soon, many wraith-like beings formed from the mist and spread throughout the city.
As the wraiths spread throughout the city, they started firing dark blasts everywhere, leaving a trail of destruction behind them.
Meanwhile, the heroes were training at the Hau'oli Outskirts when they heard an alarm from inside the Tortuga.
When they got inside, the heroes saw what was happening in the city.
"Whoa, it's another attack on the city!" Sophocles said.
"Another full invasion," Gladion said.
"Well, we've fought off something like this before!" Ash said, trying to raise encouragement.
"Yeah, the city is in danger, and we've gotta help!" Mallow said.
"It's our job! As Alola's protectors!" Kiawe said.
"Yeah, I'm in it all the way!" Lana said.
"I want to protect Alola, for its people and Pokémon!" Lillie said.
Then, the seven all put their hands in the middle to show their resolve.
"Don't forget us!" Martin said as he and Chris joined their hands, followed by Aviva, Koki, and Jimmy.
"We're all in this together," Chris said. "This might not be our world, but it's still got creatures here, and we Wild Kratts rescue all creatures!"
"I admit, I'm pretty scared about this, but I'll do what I can too!" Jimmy said.
"Yeah, we'll all pitch in, anyway we can!" Koki said.
"We'll save Alola, and its people and Pokémon!" Aviva said.
Then, the Tortuga took off into the sky for Hau'oli City.
On route, a call from the Aether Foundation came through.
"Alola, everyone. But I'm afraid there's not much time for proper greetings." Lusamine said.
"Yeah, we know. We're heading over to Hau'oli City right now." Gladion replied.
"Be careful. It's complete madness there." Professor Burnet said.
"Good luck to you all," Wicke said, and the call ended.
When the Tortuga landed in the city, the heroes got out to see the disaster zone.
Some of the buildings were wrecked or in flames, the wraiths were now starting to grab some of the fleeing people and take them away.
"This is worse than anything we've ever seen before," Sophocles said.
"Come on! We've got the power! Let's save the day!" Ash said, lifting everyone's spirits.
The kids sent out all their Pokémon for an all-out battle.
"Burst!" Ash, Mallow, Sophocles, and Kiawe used Burst to combine with Pikachu, Tropius, Togedemaru, and Turtonator.
"Electrode Burst! Skuntank Burst! Rhydon Burst!" Lillie, Lana, and Gladion changed into their Burst forms of Electrode, Skuntank, and Rhydon.
"Activate Mythical Powers!" Chris and Martin activated Phoenix and Dragon Powers.
"Wait, guys. You're gonna need all the help you can get!" Aviva said as she and Koki came out with their own Creature Power Suits.
Then, the two activated Thunderbird and Alicorn Powers.
"Okay, our first priority should be keeping the people safe and save the ones that were caught. But we still can't forget to keep the monsters from destroying the city any further." Koki said.
"Right!" Everyone shouted and split to save the city.
A group of wraiths was attacking some people when Ash, Lillie, Sophocles, and Lana arrived on the scene.
"Magnet Rise!" Lillie used electromagnetic forces to lift herself, Ash, and Sophocles into the air to fight off the wraiths.
"Thunderbolt!" Ash zapped the wraiths with a bolt of electricity.
"Swift!" Lillie shot out yellow stars to strike the wraiths.
"Pin Missile!" Sophocles fired green spikes from his spikes at the wraiths.
"Sludge Bomb!" Lana fired globs of sludge at the wraiths.
As the wraiths were defeated, they burst into a puff of smoke.
"Hurry, get somewhere safe!" Ash said to the people they saved, who quickly took his advice.
Elsewhere, some of the wraiths were attacking buildings, setting them on fire, and causing debris to rain down.
"We can't let them cause any more damage to Hau'oli City!" Kiawe said.
"Let's beat them quickly so we can go after the others!" Chris said.
"Solar Beam!" Mallow absorbed sunlight, then used the gathered sunlight to fire a green beam of sunlight at the wraiths.
"Flamethrower!" Kiawe breathed out a stream of fire at the wraiths.
"Stone Edge!" Gladion slammed his fist into the ground, causing rock pillars to rise from the ground and rush towards the wraiths.
Koki blasted the wraiths with a beam from her horn, and Martin froze them with an ice breath.
Chris and Aviva then unleashed both fire and electric attacks to deal with the last remaining wraiths in the area.
Then, the heroes all continued to go around the city, fighting off the wraiths as they went and saving the people as well.
"Alright! We're almost done! Just a few more and we can drive off the spook invasion." Aviva said.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Martin said.
However, the heroes were suddenly greeted by a sinister voice. "What's the matter? Cannot stay put for long?"
The heroes were suddenly put off by the voice as they recognized it to be Malummox, who floated in the sky high above them, his malevolent aura darkening the area around him.
"It's him," Gladion said solemnly.
"He's a lot bigger than the last time we saw him!" Sophocles said.
"I guess it came with regaining his full power," Kiawe said.
Malummox then looked down on the heroes as they raised their guard in preparation for a major battle.
