Star Wars: The Last has been discontinued, pending a rewrite.
My writing style has changed drastically, as has my taste in genre. If I ever return to the project, it will be to republish the work as full rewrite, and only once the entire project is completed, so as to not force readers to endure such ridiculously-long wait times between chapters, as I have, unfortunately, been doing here.
The keyword in the above is "if". I have other projects on my mind, and my apathy for Star Wars, Destiny and all things present-day Bungie steadily grows. As of now I will not let myself juggle back and forth between this and my other stories. I must solidify. I will.
Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy my second story, a cute one-shot titled Small Talk, as it is a more modern reflection of my prose, and can even serve as minor prequel. There is also an unpolished little sequel to Small Talk already drafted up in my bin. Perhaps I'll release that in the near future.
I'm sorry to disappoint. This story has gained a lot of traction over the years, and I appreciate the enthusiasm it's garnered. As my first attempt at actually putting out my prose for others to read, this was a grand-slam in my book. So for what it's worth, thank you.
