Malummox Final Battle (Part 3)

Ultra Space: Unknown world

In another world in Ultra Space, Solgaleo and Lunala sensed something and being alert, used their powers to open an Ultra Wormhole to pass through, leading to Alola.

Alola

From their respective ruins, the island guardians each detected something and flew into the sky to see Solgaleo and Lunala come out.

The two Legendary Pokémon met with the island guardians and knowing what must be done, Solgaleo and Lunala opened up a different Ultra Wormhole and passed through it, along with the island guardians.

Ultra Space: Malummox's world

Back in Malummox's world, the heroes stood firm, preparing for the battle against the final boss, Malummox.

"You know what? Even though the tension's high, I'm feeling high on confidence right now." Ash said.

"It's not just you, I'm feeling it too!" Kiawe said.

"All of us do," Lana said.

"Yeah! I don't feel scared at all!" Sophocles said.

"We can win this, I know it!" Lillie said.

"So let's give it our all!" Mallow said.

The kids then sent out the rest of their Pokémon to go all-out.

"Activate Dragon Power!" Chris and Martin both activated Dragon Power.

"Electrode Burst!" Aviva and Koki, using two mini Burst Hearts that they got from Lillie and Mallow respectively which were set to Electrode.

The skeletal giant then charged to attack, and as it went, it spawned many minuscule versions of itself.

However, the kids had all their Pokémon unleash their attacks all at once on the minions, obliterating them all and leaving only the real one.

Chris let out a fire breath and Martin blew out a big wind to make it even bigger, resulting in a fiery wind that scorched the skeletal giant.

"Shock Wave!" Aviva fired a blue beam of electricity at the skeletal giant, and then Koki rolled in close. "Magnet Rise!" Aviva released an electromagnetic force to lift Koki towards the skeletal giant's chest.

"Explosion!" Koki charged up energy and then unleashed a big explosion that knocked the skeletal giant off its feet.

"It's down!" Gladion said.

"Not for long!" Malummox interjected as the skeletal giant managed to rise to its feet once again.

Then, Malummox unleashed a barrage of energy beams at the heroes, who scrambled to dodge the beams, throwing them off.

"I grow tired of this. NOW I SHALL…" Malummox tried to unleash another attack, but he was suddenly interrupted by the opening of an Ultra Wormhole. "WHAT?"

The heroes were amazed at seeing the Legendary Pokémon appear.

Solgaleo and Lunala, along with the island guardians, came out of the Ultra Wormhole and quickly set their sights on Malummox and his skeletal giant.

Lunala fired a Moongeist Beam at Malummox, then Solgaleo followed through with Sunsteel Strike, knocking Malummox back and burying him into the ground.

The island guardians all used Nature's Madness, bombarding the skeletal giant with pink shockwaves from the ground.

The Legendary Pokémon then descended to the ground as the heroes ran up to them.

"You guys all came to help us! Thanks a lot!" Ash said.

"Yes! We really appreciate it!" Lillie said.

Solgaleo and Lunala cried out, and Ash and Lillie knew what they wanted.

"Burst!" Ash and Lillie used Burst to combine with Solgaleo and Lunala.

"I WILL ANNIHILATE ALL OF YOU!" Malummox's voice suddenly boomed out.

The heroes turned to see Malummox in the sky as the skeletal giant followed on the ground.

Then, Malummox flew toward elsewhere, unleashing energy blasts as he went.

"Ash, Lillie! You two go after him! We'll take care of things here!" Kiawe said.

"Okay, take care of that and meet us with us quick!" Ash said before he and Lillie flew off with their Pokémon following behind them.

"We'll go too for backup!" Martin said, and he and Chris flew after Ash and Lillie.

As the remaining heroes got ready to face the skeletal giant, the island guardians landed the first hits with Dazzling Gleam.

Then, Tapu Koko, Tapu Lele, Tapu Bulu, and Tapu Fini appeared in front of Kiawe, Mallow, Sophocles, and Lana respectively and handed each of them a Tapunium Z.

"Tapunium Z! It looks like they want to do Z-Moves!" Rotom said.

Then, the island guardians all made a gesture that showed they also wanted to Burst.

"Got it!" Kiawe, Mallow, Sophocles, and Lana shouted in confirmation as they put the Tapunium Z in their Z-Rings and got their Burst Hearts ready.

"Burst!" Kiawe, Mallow, Sophocles, and Lana's Burst Hearts absorbed the respective island guardians, then they put their Burst Hearts on their chests.

Kiawe, Mallow, Sophocles, and Lana's lower bodies became black. Kiawe's hair turned orange and Tapu Koko's plume appeared on his head; Mallow's hair turned pink like Tapu Lele; Sophocles gained Tapu Bulu's horns, tail, nose ring, and hooves on his feet; Lana's hair turned light blue and grew longer, and her lower body became like a mermaid. Finally, the island guardians' respective shells formed on their bodies.

"Yeah! Now, this has some serious power!" Kiawe said.

The skeletal giant started approaching as everyone noticed.

"I'll wear it down for you to finish it off!" Gladion said as his Pokémon stood by him.

"Us too!" Aviva said, joining them along with Koki and Kiawe, Mallow, Sophocles, and Lana's Pokémon.

As the skeletal giant got closer, Gladion, Kiawe, Mallow, Sophocles, and Lana's Pokémon, along with Aviva and Koki, unleashed all their attacks on the skeletal giant, causing it to take damage and stumble back a little.

"Now's your chance! Go!" Rotom said to Kiawe, Mallow, Sophocles, and Lana.

Kiawe, Mallow, Sophocles, and Lana did the Z-Move pose, building up Z-Power.

"Guardian of Alola!"

Kiawe, Mallow, Sophocles, and Lana summoned four giant headless entities colored yellow, magenta, green, and blue respectively.

The four closed up into their shells and merged on top of their respective entities as the heads. Then, the entities raised their fists and brought them down on the skeletal giant, causing a massive shockwave that tore the ground around it.

As the entities disappeared, the skeletal giant fell down on its knees and started giving off sparks as it exploded.

"We did it!" Mallow said. "We beat it!"

"Now we can go help Ash, Lillie, Chris, and Martin!" Koki said, and everyone quickly took off in the direction that the four were headed to find them in battle with Malummox.

Ash and Lillie's Pokémon were also supporting them from the ground with their attacks.

Chris and Martin flew around Malummox, dodging his attacks and hitting him with fire breaths, freeze rays, and lightning bolts.

"Flare Blitz!" Ash enveloped himself in flames and rammed into Malummox.

"Air Slash!" Lillie blew out blades of wind at Malummox.

Malummox seemed to be taking damage, but it was clear that they were not about to bet him anytime soon.

"Insolent pests!" Malummox formed several dark energy spheres and sent them after Ash, Lillie, Chris, and Martin.

The four were able to dodge the spheres with medium difficulty, but then the spheres came flying at complex angles that manipulated Ash and Lillie into crashing into each other, then did the same with Chris and Martin.

"Are you okay?" Lana asked as she and the others caught up with the four.

"Yeah. We're fine. Thanks for asking." Ash said.

"We beat your pet! So now, you're the only one left!" Kiawe said.

"Don't be so presumptuous! You haven't won yet!" Malummox declared as his eyes flashed.

Then, from under the heroes came out a burst of dark energy.

Malummox extended his arm like a chain and grabbed Lillie before slamming her into Ash.

Malummox then sent out several bombs into the air that blasted out dark energy at the heroes.

"Ugh, he's still so strong," Sophocles said.

"But we came this far. We've gotta beat him." Gladion said.

"Be prepared. This is the moment you lose." Malummox then prepared to unleash another attack but he was stopped when a ball of light suddenly landed on the ground beneath him, erupting into a geyser of light that blasted him.

"What was that?! Who dares?!" Malummox shouted as he recovered from the attack.

Then, with a draconic roar, the attacker was revealed to be Necrozma, its golden light illuminating the sky.

"Necrozma!" Gladion said.

"The Blinding One. You stood in the way of my conquest once. It was you who weakened me to the point that traitor Goun was able to seal me away!" Malummox ranted. "For that, I will make you suffer the consequences!"

Necrozma turned towards Gladion and cried out. Gladion's Burst Heart suddenly reacted and Necrozma was absorbed into it.

"Does this mean…?" Chris asked.

"Yeah. Burst!" Gladion put his Burst Heart on his chest to trigger Burst.

Gladion's head, chest, arms, and feet became armoured by the black crystals resembling the depowered Necrozma's body parts. Then, in a burst of light, the crystal armor turned golden and Gladion's body turned white. He gained a draconic tail and white wings formed from his arms, along with a second pair of wings below; and a red and a blue lens formed over his left and right eyes.

"Too cool!" Ash said, in awe of Gladion's form combined with Necrozma.

"Get ready, Malummox! This time, we will defeat you!" Gladion declared.
