Angel: If people are wondering what happens in Hunting Palismen, well then, I guess you'll have to wait till it comes out!

The council of Learning How to be a Witch writers (which is only me) hereby declare that I can't spoil anything in that episode right now, even if the question has nothing to do with them, lol.

At Blight Industries, which was where most technology and weaponry was built, a private sale was going on that night. People were stepping in, with the two twins at the door greeting people. Edric spun a spell finger, creating a 'Hex Me' sign on the last person walking in. The two giggled at their prank.

The stage was dark until a spotlight fell on two people. "Welcome, valued investors, to our annual...Blight Industries private sale!" The person speaking ripped off the cloak to reveal herself as a green-haired woman. The other person struggled to get off the cloak, but eventually revealed himself as a brown-haired man with purple goggles on his head. "If you're interested in reliable home security, we're here to help. And if you're got an enemy or two, well, who are we to judge?"

The crowd laughed and she smirked. "This is my husband, Alador Blight, the greatest abomination creator of the era," She gestured to the man before gesturing to herself. "My name is Odalia, and as an oracle, I predict you'll love what we've got in store for you tonight," She held the purple gem she was wearing and it glowed. "We are proud to present the first glimpse of our crowning achievement," They walked off stage as a large abomination with armor and Amity appeared. "The Abomaton soldier!"

Amity gestured to it and the crowd clapped for them. "It will pour your tea," She held a tea cup as the Abomaton poured it...and then it gave her a makeover she could do well without. "Help you keep up with the latest trends." The two then faced each other, fists up. "And, best of all, it will defend you against any unwanted visitors."

She used her gem to talk to Amity in her mind, who was wearing the same gem. "Mama to Mittens. Remember our deal. Make this look good, and we'll forgive your recent lackluster performance in school."

She sighed, absolutely bored by all this, but it was the only way to get her parents off her back. "Yes, Mom." The Abomaton slammed down a fist and she stepped backwards. "Wow, it's so fast and strong. Order now," She jumped as it swung a fist.

Alador yawned as the crowd cheered, Odalia looking proud of herself. The Automaton grabbed hold of Amity, and she feigned defeat. "Oh, no. It's undefeatable. How will I ever escape?" Suddenly a photo fell from her sleeve. "Huh?" She looked down to see that it was the Grom photo of her and her four friends. The Automaton was about to step on it, and she gasped sharply, not wanting it to get ruined. She swung her hands to get herself free, spinning a spell circle to defeat it. The crowd grumbled at this.

"That's awful!"

She walked over and bent down, grabbing the unruined photo.

"Oh!" Odalia ran on stage, talking to the decreasing crowd. "Of course, well, that was but a beta test! We can't wait to see you all next week when we reveal the, uh...the finished product in all its glory!" She then turned to her daughter angrily. "Amity! You just lost us a lot of money! What's with you lately?!"

Amity stood up and that was when she noticed the Grom photo. "I see. Looks like our precious Mittens has been getting...distracted," She narrowed her eyes as she decided that she needed to put a stop to that.

Emira and Edric peeked into the building, not liking the look on her face...

Hooty went over to a cauldron and banged it with his head at the Owl House. Luz turned around, holding up a light glyph while wearing her Hexside uniform. Lucila was also dressed as she stood nearby a chalk board. "Light in the darkness," The light orb floated from Luz's hand. "A glittering bridge of ice," She then activated an ice glyph. "The mightiest tree in the forest!" She produced several plant glyphs on her hands. "...Say your line!" She whispered to Lucila, who rolled her eyes in amusement.

"And the burning of the flames," She tapped a fire glyph, holding it up in the air as flames flew into the sky.

"You can make all these and more with glyph magic! Welcome to day three of Lucila and Luz's Magic Boot Camp!"

More fire glyphs occurred, startling King as he ran off. "Sorry, King," Lucila smiled sheepishly at him.

Lilith gasped, clapping as she was impressed. "Ooh!" She and Eda were sitting in desks. Eda was scratching something into her desk, whatever it was.

"Okay..." Luz removed the cloth from the chalkboard, revealing all four glyphs drawn out and labeled. "We've covered every glyph Luci and I have learned up until now. So today, we'll learn something new."

"Are we about to encounter a never-before-seen glyph?" Lilith asked in excitement. The two winced, glancing at each other.

"Unfortunately, no. These four either came from nature or another witch's spell. I-I don't know where to find more."

The two Clawthornes glanced to each other before looking at Lucila, who waved her hands nervously.

"I may have been advancing in lessons faster, but I didn't get that far. It's already hard enough to track this kind of magic down in literature." Truth be told, she had no idea how far she would've gotten if she was continuing her lessons with the Golden Guard. She slapped her cheeks to bring him out of her thoughts.

"In any case, today we're learning how to alter glyphs to do specific things," She turned around the chalkboard, which showcased combining ice glyphs.

"Snow, ice sculptures, ice carving," Lucila stated off with a smile. "Today we're just gonna focus on the ice one." If they did all four at once, she would leave Bonesborough and possibly never come back.

"Uh, Miss Teachers!" Lilith held up an eager hand. "Did I do it right?" She held up her paper of a drawing, which was four glyphs in a circle.

"Yeah, that's really good!" Luz congratulated her, and she pumped a fist.

"You're faster than I was," Lucila smiled at Lilith. It took her like three days since she had to learn how to draw first...

"Let's see how you're doing, Eda," She looked at her desk to see that Eda had carved out fire and ice glyphs joined together. Lucila bit her lip, glancing at her sister. "Um, I don't think that's such a good-"

"Double glyph combo, go!" She slammed the carving, but it resulted in a small spark building up.

"Oh my god, get down!" Lucila pushed her sister onto the ground and they both landed on the dirt as a small explosion occurred. She looked up towards the woman, who frowned.

"Oh, dang. I was hoping for more of an ice blast situation."

Lucila sighed a bit as she stood up, helping up Luz. "Okay, look, Eda, I know that losing your powers isn't easy to deal with, but you've gotta put in an effort to at least try to master the basics first before you actually start combining. Because if we get any more explosions like that, we might not have a house to live in," She dusted herself off.

"Ugh," Eda crossed her arms stubbornly. "You're as boring as Lily. Now I see where you're getting it from."

"I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear that," Lucila glanced away briefly. She had experienced being bullied for being a nerd or boring, so hearing Eda say it wasn't that bothersome to her anymore.

"Toot-toot!" Hooty popped up between the women. "The Hexside train is a-comin! Chugga-chugga," He lunged forward and got Lucila on his back, grabbing Luz by her cowl with his mouth.

"Ah, okay. Uh, King's in charge while we're gone. Bye!"

"Keep practicing!" Lucila encouraged them as they left.

King stood up, pumping his fists. "Ha ha! Power!"

Lilith was drawing as Eda watched them leave. Once they were out of sight, she stood up, pumping her fists. "Yes! Teachers are gone! Ah. Mmm, I wonder what other combos I can try," She rubbed her hands together.

"Teachers said we're supposed to master the basics before-"

"Basics are so basic," Eda interrupted her sister, waving a hand. "Now, if we wanna be powerful again, we're gonna have to start thinkin' outside the box."

Lilith stood up, pointing a finger at her. "If we want to be powerful again, we have to use glyphs perfectly," She held up her flash cards. "And we can only do that through memorization, repetition, and following the rules."

Eda smacked her cards out of her hands without a care. "Well, I'm more interested in experimentation, innovation, and, uh...laughing at tools, like you!" She laughed as she snorted, walking off.

"Ugh!" Lilith groaned and looked down at King. He looked up and saw her face after a few seconds.

"Weh? Yeah, yeah, I'll deal with it. No one ever said power came with responsibility," He grumbled as he walked off.

The two stood in front of the doors of Hexside. Luz looked nervous, and her sister didn't blame her. They hadn't stepped inside school for almost two weeks now. "Hoo-kay. First day back after the Petrification Ceremony. Just be chill..."

"We'll...w-we'll be okay," Her sister smiled a bit hesitantly, since she really didn't know what the general reactions would be. She opened the doors, and everything seemed fine. Willow and Gus gasped upon seeing them, immediately running over.

"Oh, my gosh!"

The two ran over to their friends and they shared a big group hug. "Ah, guys, you're okay!" Gus exclaimed in a deeper voice. The two blinked and stared at him, realizing that he had also grown a few inches as well.

"Whoa, Gus! Did we, uh, miss a birthday or something?"

"Witch puberty," Gus casually shrugged.

"Can't argue with that," Lucila laughed at him.

"We can't thank you guys enough for helping us and Eda at the Conformatorium."

"It's cool," Gus stated, scratching his cheek. "I just hope it helps Eda learn my name. She keeps calling me Goops."

"Hey, Goops!" A student called out while walking by and he sagged his shoulders.

"It's already spreading..."

"I'm sure it'll pass," Lucila waved a hand. "They'll find something else to trend about. But while I've got you here, you can pick out your next lesson." She held out a notebook with pages filled with human stuff to teach him.

"I've been saved...!" He took it and started looking.

"Hey, guys," Amity greeted them and they turned to her.

"Amity!"

"In celebration of your return, I have brought you a homemade fairy pie," She held up a tiny pie.

"Oh, wow. That sounds so..." Luz took a closer look to see fairy wings and hands twitching from it. Lucila paled a bit as she stared at it. "Gooood..."

"The ingredients are very fresh," Amity blushed as she handed it to Luz. And that snapped the older Noceda back into reality as she smiled. She couldn't wait for Luz to start develop feelings for Amity, she was really rooting for them—but that was after she and Amity were cool after the whole 'bullying' thing, that is.

"Thank you. You know, after everything that's happened, I think I speak for both of us when I say we're just happy to return some sense of normalcy."

"Luci!" She turned in confusion to see the Blight twins running over to her. Edric panted as they came to a stop, hands on his knees. Emira also looked exhausted, as they looked like they had been running around a lot. "Whoo...okay," He stood up, catching his breath. "One, welcome back, we missed you. Two, we gotta tell you something!"

"Whoa, okay, where's the fire? What's so important that it needs to be said-"

"You can't just barge in here!" The PA system activated, and they were confused as it was Principal Bump speaking.

"Yes, we can. We are the Parent Creature Association," Odalia argued back. "Luz and Lucila Noceda, Willow Park, and Augustus Porter, report to Principal Bump's office now! And you too, Amity."

"Mom?!"

"Your mother?!" Lucila shouted in alarm at the twins, and now she realized what they wanted to tell her. Unfortunately, because they didn't have her number, the twins had been running around trying to find her ever since they arrived...

The five sat in front of the three adults, Lucila between Willow and Luz. She frowned to herself, her hands folded over her lap. Lucila wasn't usually judgmental, but she could tell that she didn't like Odalia just by looking at her face (and that wasn't considering her impression of them when she was restoring Willow's memories). THAT was a face she wanted to punch—of a parent! And she usually didn't think that way either, but she just didn't trust that woman at all. More so than Lilith before she moved into the Owl House.

"The Abomination situation. The destruction of detention. The rampage of Grom! These are but a few of the incidents that have endangered Hexside's students. Including our daughter," Odalia glanced at her husband, Amity feeling bitter. Her friends hadn't endangered her at all, especially since the destruction of detention had nothing to do with her. "So, the PCA has decided..." She cleared her throat at her husband, who was distracted.

"Oh, right, ahem. These four are bad influences and must be executed."

The five gasped in horror, Lucila holding her neck immediately. She didn't care WHO these people were, she was keeping her head!

He cleared his throat, realizing his mistake. "I mean, expelled."

Willow gasped at this. "What?"

"What?!"

"Whaaaaaat?!" Lucila stood up in protest in literally two seconds. "I don't know if you know this, but I'm technically Luz's guardian, and I find that there's no grounds to expel them. We weren't even punished for Grom, which is a natural tradition!"

"Then as her guardian, you've not only failed to protect your own sister, but other students," Odalia fired back with a glare.

"That's not true! Luci takes GREAT care of me," Luz gestured to herself. "She always makes sure I'm on top of my studies!"

Amity gritted her teeth at her mother, angry. "Take this as a lesson, Mittens," Odalia told her in her head. "A Blight always upholds their end of the deal." Amity gasped and dropped her expression, looking away.

"This is ridiculous!" Lucila pointed a finger at the desk. "They're just kids! And if anyone is being endangered, clearly no one's complaining. You're just being stuck-up and-"

"Lucila, please," Principal Bump interrupted her with a pleading look, since he was in good association with the Blights. Not that he supported this decision either. Her eyes widened in shock, Odalia gritting her teeth at the girl, finding her insolent. "Sadly, I have no choice in the matter. Luz, Willow, Lucila, and Augustus, effective immediately, you are no longer students of Hexside."

"No!" Luz stood up in protest. "But us, good! Amity! Tell them!"

However, Odalia glared at her daughter, who ultimately said nothing. "Good. Now, you'll be taking double the classes to make up for lost time," Odalia gave a small sneer, crossing her arms. "Actually, I'm appalled you're not in class right now. What are you thinking?"

Lucila gave a look of disbelief, as THEY were the ones who pulled Amity into the principal's office, so they shouldn't be questioning why she wasn't in class. She could tell this woman was VERY controlling, and she didn't like it.

"Right. Sorry," Amity stood up without protest.

Odalia snapped her fingers, guards three guards coming in to snatch them. "No! Please, no! Wait!" Luz protested as they were taken away.

"No, stop, no!"

Amity couldn't bear to watch, her eyes squeezed shut. "Amity? Amity!" Luz cried out, Odalia placing a hand on the girl's shoulder. She glanced over her shoulder as the door closed.

"It finally happened!" Gus paced around in a panic. "Our memorable adventures caught up to us. Oh, my dad can't find out about this! I guess I'll have to start surviving off the land." He picked up a leaf and attempted to lick it, but he threw it onto the ground. "Ah! This is impossible!" He ran off crying as Willow hugged a tree.

"I guess this is goodbye. I'll water you one last time...with my tears!"

"This is bunk!" Lucila exclaimed in anger while sitting next to her sister, who groaned and covered her eyes. She noticed that Odalia and Alador were leaving, Lucila growling in anger.

"HEY!" Luz got Odalia's attention. "How dare you mess with my sister and my friends' lives? What have we ever done to you?"

"Luz, was it?" The woman glanced back while Alador chased after a butterfly. "Please, this isn't personal. I actually appreciate your tenacity. We're just trying to teach our daughter a valuable lesson in business."

Her smile and her statement REALLY got on Lucila's nerves.

"P-Personal? Valuable lesson?! How does unfairly expelling students teach anyone anything?" Lucila shouted in her face. "There are easier ways to do that than to screw up other people's lives!"

"Please, dear, you should be acting like a proper lady. Clearly no one's taught you respect. I don't care for your lack of manners."

"Not true!" Luz argued for her. "And how does this teach anything? We're still gonna be friends with her. I'm callin' applesauce on this business bologna."

"Your human language is hard to understand," Odalia rubbed her chin. "But I think I see your point." She crushed the butterfly in her hand, Lucila narrowing her eyes. She was this close to spelling it out to this woman, biting her tongue right now. "If you're interested in talking things through," She took out a card from Alador's coat. "I'm sure we can come to some sort of an agreement."

"Gus chomp!" Gus snatched the card out of Luz's hand with his mouth.

"Good Augustus," Lucila patted him on the head, grateful for his action. Otherwise she would've ripped it when they got back.

"Come on, Luz," Willow placed an arm around the girl, not interested at all. "We can figure this out on our own."

Gus spit the card out. "That's right. We'll get back into Hexside or die trying!"

"No one's dying," Willow reminded him.

"Not with that attitude," He walked off with his arms crossed.

"The both of us aren't interested in any of your stupid offers," Lucila seethed, walking past Odalia and shouldering her roughly. "I need a walk, I'll meet you back at home, Luz."

Odalia gave the older Noceda a small glare. "Yes, well, when that doesn't work, you know where to find us," She pushed away her husband as they left. Luz stared after the two, wondering how she was going to fix this...

Eda was concentrating on something in the Owl House, sweating. "Okay...almost got it..." She pressed two papers together on a pyramid. "Glyph pyramid!"

"And what are you expecting this glyph pyramid to do?" King asked her in disbelief, pointing his tail up at him. Instead of trying to get through to her, he had fallen asleep.

"It's supposed to prove that I'm the superior witch," Eda stated, hands behind her back. "Watch and learn," She smashed down the papers, but it just resulted in another explosion. "Ugh. Okay, let's think. Bile sacs have different spell phlegm sloshing around together. So why can't I mix these up too?!"

"But those are disgusting liquids," King reminded her. "These are symbols from the Isles. Maybe there's a different way to combine them."

"Hmm..." She put a finger on her chin.

"Hootly mootly!" They turned to the front door as they heard Hooty. Eda looked out the window to see Lilith combining ice glyphs to make a crown made out of ice. "Oh!" Eda gave a glare at this. Lilith did it again and made two ice pops, Hooty eagerly eating one. "Mm!" Lilith spun around and tapped another combination to create a Hooty/swan ice sculpture. "Ha ha ha! I bet even Eda couldn't do that! Wow!"

Eda growled at this, clenching her fists. "Maybe if you just learn the basics, like Luz and Luci said!"

"I don't have time for basics!" She argued back. "I'm onto something, and I'll prove it," She sat down, cracking her knuckles. She started writing something down.

Lucila had a saddened look as she walked down the path to the Owl House. She couldn't believe that she, Luz, and her friends got expelled. And she doubted that the twins knew about that plan, either...how was she going to get back in? Eda or Lilith probably wouldn't be any help. The former would probably use some sneaky tactic and Lilith wasn't exactly a secondary guardian for them. Not to mention that both of them couldn't do anything against the Parent Creature Association.

"Hi!"

She flinched and turned around to see the Golden Guard. Her mood soured even more upon seeing him, especially after the whole Selkidomus incident. "I told you to leave me alone. I don't want to see you!"

"Oh, come on! You know as well as I do that if I really wanted to, I'd capture Eda without resorting to you," He landed behind her as she spun around to face him.

"Oh yeah? Then what was that whole Selkidomus thing? Was threatening us and tying me up just for the heck of it? Ugh!" She groaned as she turned around, arms crossed.

There was no way she was telling him that technically they faked slaying the Selkidomus. So she had to keep up the lie that they did…not that she cared about him knowing her business!

"Okay, that was a resort I didn't want to do, but the Emperor wanted it. It was...just how it worked," He rubbed his neck a bit sheepishly.

"Look, if you're looking for more glory without the work, don't bother. I have my own problems and I do not wanna have to answer to you if I end up using a glyph," She glanced over to him with a glare on her face. She then turned back forward, taking a few steps.

"If you're so powerful as you think you are, then you would've used them by now. Something's on your mind, isn't it?"

She slowly came to a stop, letting out a small breath as she gave a look of disbelief. It annoyed her that he could read her so well without having to tell him.

"It's nothing."

"It wouldn't be nothing if it bothered you so much. Can you start letting me in on something? Maybe I can help! Is it your lessons?" He crossed his arms.

She tightened the strap from her bag, glancing over her shoulder. She had been teaching herself ever since she stopped her lessons with the Golden Guard. That night when she stood him up basically meant she didn't want him to be her teacher anymore, and he knew that.

"You always have an answer for everything, don't you? And why do you care, anyway? I'm not falling for this again."

The last time she let her guard down, Eda's house got ambushed. She had no idea if he was planning something or what, but she didn't want to stick around to find out.

"You can't exactly trust me if you don't tell me, can you?! Look, I know we're on opposite sides, but...I know that whatever this is, we shouldn't have to be at odds," He told the girl while staring at her back.

"You can't help with this," She said in a hardened tone, wanting to just go home and figure this out on her own.

"Why not?!" He asked in exasperation.

"I got kicked out of Hexside, okay?!" Lucila whipped around to him, tears forming in her eyes. He recoiled back as he hadn't seen her with that expression. And right now, he didn't know how to react. "My friends' parents, the Blights, got me and people I care about expelled!"

"Oh…oh no, don't do that. What are you doing right now?" He asked, slightly confused as he reached out a hand. She stepped backwards immediately.

"Don't touch me! I have to go figure this out…" And with that she left, and he was left standing there wondering how he was going to help her if she didn't want him to...

Luz turned to her friends as they looked at the banned posters of them and Lucila. "Operation Change Bump's Mind," She declared to them. "Let's go!" The three ran off.

Principal Bump was flipping through pages of memories he had of the four. He didn't want them expelled either, but his hands were tied. He closed his eyes and then heard a knock. He looked outside his window to see a basket waiting for him. It was a gift basket along with a note that said 'For our favorite principal! Un-expel us?' with a dog sticker attached. A drawing of him was included...along with a cake, but it had melted. He screamed at it and it fell onto the three.

Then they tried sneaking in by posing as teachers, but they came face to face with them and Bump. He got rid of their disguises and they smiled sheepishly, backing away. Bump had tears in his eyes as he walked off.

Then they tried flying in with Owlbert, but Bump and an abomination were prepared with a harpoon gun. The trio flew backwards so as not to be possibly injured. Bump actually started crying, turning away. "Life is just so dull without them!" He covered his hands, sobbing.

The double doors closed by the guards, and Gus turned around, frowning. "Ah, this is hopeless! Nothing is working!"

"Don't worry, guys," Luz placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "As long as we stick together, we'll think of something."

A crow cawed and landed on Willow's head. By the look of her face, she knew exactly what was happening. "Oh, no."

"Willow Park, did you get expelled?!" One of her fathers asked from the crow, the other two wincing at this.

Then a crow landed on Gus' head. "This is Perry Porter with breaking news. In light of recent events..."

"Help, Luz!" Gus protested, trying to get away from the crow dragging him away. "Let me go!"

"Augustus Porter will be grounded for no less than a year." The crowd started dragging Gus away.

"Just one?!" Apparently, Willow's dad heard it. "Willow's grounded for three at least!"

Luz tried to get them back, but it was no use as she watched them disappear. "No! Help! Help, Luz! Help, Luz!"

"Save meeeeee!"

Amity walked by with her books, attempting to hold them all. Luz turned around and the green-haired girl flinched, one of her books falling. "I'm, uh...I'm sorry," She stated in regret, Luz walking over. "I was a coward in there. But my mom-"

"Hey, I get it," She interrupted, frowning. "You're scared of her. But I'm not. And I need you to take me to her. She seemed open to talking things through. I know my sister's definitely not..." She glanced away awkwardly; with Lucila's reaction to the woman, she had to do this on her own.

"No. No, Luz, you don't have to do that," Amity denied to her.

"Yes, I do. Willow, Gus, and my sister don't deserve this," Luz bent down and picked up the book. "So, will you help me, please?" She smiled as she held out Amity's book to her.

"I...I can't," She answered sadly, the school bell ringing. "I have to go," She took her book and left. Luz stood up, dejected as she walked off...and then she stepped on the card that Gus spat out. She picked it up and looked at the back of it, seeing the address.

Eda looked confident at her next one, a pile of discarded papers nearby. "Eda, wh-what the heck is that supposed to be?" King glanced at the paper in confusion, looking annoyed.

"I call it the super glyph," She smiled at it as she combined all four glyphs into one.

"More like a stupid glyph."

"Just you wait," She held up a finger. "This will be a killer combo. Lesser glyphs will shrink in fear," She tapped it, and it turned into a small ice cube. "Ha! It didn't blow up!" However, it did grow into a blob with icicles.

"Uhh, is it supposed to do that?" King questioned cautiously and it started moving on its own.

Lucila arrived back, Lilith still outside. "Miss Teacher! You're back early! Come see my progress," She smiled, gesturing to the stuff she had been doing with glyphs. Lucila didn't even give it a glance as she walked past, her eyes saddened.

"Maybe later..." She murmured as she opened the door...just as the blob expanded. She flinched, screaming as one of the spikes was really close to hitting her stomach.

"Luci! Hi," Eda waved a nervous hand, the girl looking annoyed. She looked up at the giant blob. "Uh huh..."

"What is the meaning of this? Did you mess up glyphs again?" Lucila asked her angrily, groaning in agony.

"No!" Eda protested stubbornly, noticing her eyes. "Anyway, what's going on with you?"

"Everything," Lucila pinched her nose.

First the whole Emperor Belos fight and Eda getting captured, their money troubles, the Golden Guard, and now this...just an ordinary time in the Boiling Isles, right? And past her would've been happy to not be in Hexside, but now...she felt like a piece of her had been torn out, leaving behind scars.

The doorbell rang and she wiped the back of her hand to get rid of the unshed tears. Lucila straightened herself up and turned around, opening the door. However, when she opened it, the last person she expected to be standing there was...

"Ed?" She murmured in shock as he looked upset, and he was surprisingly alone. "What...what are you doing here?"

Hooty suddenly appeared between them. "Luci's got a boy visiting!" Her eyes widened and Edric flinched. "And he's a looker!"

"Hooty!" She hissed, slamming the door shut behind her.

"I'm still here to join in on the fun!" It was at that moment that she forgot that Hooty was part of the outside from the front door. She quickly covered his mouth in embarrassment, clearing her throat.

"I'm sorry about...everything in general with him," Lucila stated awkwardly.

"...Should I leave?" Lilith asked and she felt like sinking into the floor out of embarrassment. She couldn't exactly let the woman in either, but she had to make sure Hooty stayed quiet.

"I heard about what happened at school," He got to the point and her eyes saddened as she slowly sighed. "It's not fair! Mom doesn't know what she's talking about. I feel terrible about this, Luci," He gestured to himself.

"It's okay. You didn't do anything wrong, Ed," She smiled weakly at him.

"It's not okay," He took a firm grasp of her hand, shocking the girl as he got closer. There was a look of conviction on his face. "You don't deserve to get expelled no matter what she says. You worked really hard to get into Hexside, and you don't distract me. Far from it."

"Expelled?!" Lilith shouted and Lucila glanced over Edric's shoulder, pointing at her.

"One thing at a time, please." Edric looked down at their hands and quickly pulled away. "Ed...even if that's true, I can't fight your mom and the Parent Creature Association-"

"Then I will!"

"No!" She shook her head rapidly. "She's your mother, and I don't need to know your relationship with her to know that I can't let you do that. You're just...gonna have to leave this to me and Luz, okay? I know she won't sit around and do nothing, even if I warn her not to."

Now that she was thinking about it, she had no idea where Luz was right about now...

"Luci, I-I wanna help..." He sighed in defeat.

"I know, and I appreciate it...a lot. But we both know that going up against her isn't easy. Promise me that you won't talk to her," Lucila stared at him pleadingly and he looked away. He didn't want to just leave her on her own to deal with this...but he'd do as she asked since he could tell she wanted to handle it on her own.

"...Alright. I promise. I'll see you later," He walked off, turning around and kissing her cheek. She held her cheek, watching as he left. Her heart beat a little watching him go.

"...That was...sickeningly sweet," Lilith commented and Lucila sighed slowly, forgetting that she was there.

Luz arrived at Blight Manor, which gave her a Victorian vibe, and she pulled out a bouquet from the garden nearby. She knocked on the door and it opened. "Hello, Mrs. Blight, I-" She was met with an abomination at the door. "Ooh."

The abomination led her inside, holding a tray for tea. "Ooh," She looked around the living room. "This place smells a lot better than the Owl House," The abomination was holding a white and light purple teapot. The abomination growled and she reached out to his face. "And..." She changed it to make its face look like a kitty kat. However, it melted... "Ha ha. Well, I tried." She stepped into the basement.

"Hello? Mr and Mrs. Blight?" A severed abomination hand hit the wall next to her.

"Oh, don't mind him, dear," Odalia looked up as Alador was working on something nearby. "He's getting ready for our big demonstration tonight." She turned to her husband, who was pulling at something. "It's looking good, hon!"

"I'm here to appeal to your hearts, Blights!" Luz declared as she stepped forward.

"That's sweet, but...let's get to the deal. We have a rather important presentation tonight, showing off some new products," She swirled the tea in her cup.

"Like...abominations?" Luz asked as Alador walked past her, holding...something.

"Something like that. Normally, Amity helps us with these things, but she's busy catching up on schoolwork."

"I get it," The girl stated in annoyance. "I'll help you show off your weird abomination gunk if you promise to let me, my sister, and my friends back into school."

"Don't worry, human. A Blight always upholds their end of the deal. We'll put it in writing! Now, you might want to go get ready, because we have a long night ahead of us, folks!"

Luz didn't look so confident about this...and she was right as she nervously stood on stage, surrounded by weapons and abominations. Odalia was on stage a few feet away, facing the crowd. "Welcome back to Blight Industries!"

The crowd cheered as Luz chuckled nervously, wondering what she got herself into...

"So, Alador," Luz looked up at him. "What would you say is the specialty of Blight Industries?"

"We make a variety of abomination-based accessories for home security," He informed her.

"Oh, that sounds pretty safe," She replied in relief.

"But we specialize in in weaponry," He added in, everyone moving away. "You might want to duck."

"Huh?!" She turned to him in surprise. She was suddenly hit with abomination goo, sticking her to the wall. The crowd gasped before they applauded. She coughed a bit as the culprit was Odalia.

"Yes, our Sticky Launcher can peacefully subdue any foe," She smiled at the crowd. "And if peaceful isn't your thing..." She switched a knob to make green flames shoot out from it. Luz wiped away the goo, gasping as she saw the flames. That could've been her!

Amity walked into her home, taking off her cowl. "Mom? I'm ready for the show tonight," She called out, but got no answer. She found a note that was on the mantle, taking it off.

We found a replacement! - Mom

"Found a replacement?" She murmured in confusion. The abomination was dusting her and she turned around. "Did anyone come to the house today?" She took one look at the cat face, and that was when she knew who visited. She grunted at this.

Willow sat in her room sadly. "To make sure you're getting a top-notch education," One of her dads gave her a stack of books. "We're quitting our jobs to homeschool you."

"And we'll spend all our free time having fun as a family," The other Mr. Park stated, though he could tell Willow was upset.

"See you at first light for a test on..." Gilbert looked at the nearby book. "The, uh, life cycle of a common swamp toad." He then closed the door, an illusion of Gus appearing.

"Willow. Hey, Willow!" She gasped and he pointed behind her. She went towards the window.

"Hey, Willow," Mr. Park suddenly entered, seeing her about to escape. He froze, and then he smiled, holding up a finger to his lips, signifying that he'd keep quiet. She smiled gratefully and opened up the window. She looked down to see Gus and Amity, Gus keeping the illusion together.

"Luz is in trouble!"

"Again," Gus added in, a bit annoyed.

"We don't know where Luci is, we don't have her number," Amity frowned a bit.

Lucila looked out the window, a bit concerned that Luz hadn't arrived back yet. It was already dark, and she hadn't heard back from her sister in hours...

She took her bag, not wanting to stay much longer anyway since she didn't know how to stop whatever was going on downstairs. She'd been lying around her bedroom for the most part as she was upset over being expelled. She opened up the window, sliding down the roof until she landed safely on the ground.

"I have a bad feeling about this one…" She muttered to herself as she ran off.

The crowd cheered from inside as they arrived at Blight Industries, Luz screaming. "Okay, I can use the root system underground to tunnel our way in," Willow told her friends.

"That'll take too long," Amity argued to her. "We should just rush the guards at the door."

"No, no, no. I'll distract them with illusions of beautiful lady guards," Gus spoke up.

"This isn't a cartoons from the 40s, Gus! We need a better plan!" Willow stated with urgency.

"This could work!"

"We should just bust our way through!" Amity gestured to the building.

"You're stunting my growth as an artist!"

"We're running out of time!"

All three started arguing. "Here's an idea," Edric spoke up, standing nearby with his sister. "Why don't you just walk through the front?" He handed them cloaks to wear, Amity smiling at them.

"Ed, Em, you're helping?"

"Of course," Emira nodded with a smile. "Just...don't tell Mom."

"A-And don't tell Luci I helped either. She'd chew me out for doing this, but I can't stand by and do nothing. Her sense of responsibility is so adorable…" Edric scratched his cheek, the four all smirking at him knowingly.

"Guys!" Speaking of Lucila, she ran over to them. Edric and Emira quickly went into hiding so she wouldn't see them. "Thank god I found you."

"Luci!" Gus and Willow hugged her.

"How'd you find us?" Amity asked curiously.

"I had a feeling Luz might've went to your mom. So I remembered your address from when we brought the Owl House back to life, so I went there and found the note Odalia left for you. Then I tracked down one of the business cards she had lying around for Blight Industries and came here."

"We're sneaking in through the front door. You'll need a disguise," Gus pointed up at her.

"Psst!" Edric whispered near Gus, tossing another cloak.

"I mean...never mind!" He handed her the cloak. She raised a brow, but put it on anyway. As they turned around, Hex me signs were placed on them. The twins giggled until Amity threw the papers onto Edric, causing him to fall onto the ground. Amity gave them an 'I'm watching you' gesture before walking off. Thankfully, Lucila was in front of the group, so she hadn't seen them.

As they stepped in, they were horrified to see the crowd cheering for the abomination firing a crossbow at Luz. She dodged the arrows, looking worse for wear. The abomination fired another arrow and she gasped as she barely avoided it, ducking her head. She threw down an ice glyph to block the next one, a large ice pillar appearing in front of her. The arrow exploded, breaking the ice and knocking her onto the ground. Suddenly she was punched by an abomination fist that came through the floor. When she fell downwards, the fist caught her in its hand. She struggled as the abomination was about to finish her off and she braced herself.

"Thank you, thank you," Odalia stated to the crowd, stopping everything. The girl was baffled as the abomination left the stage. "And they said we couldn't make crossbows more fun. Next, we're very excited to show you our last product from this line."

Luz sighed in relief as she was released, the abomination goo melting into the ground. "Thank goodness. Only one more to go..."

"My husband has been toiling away to bring you..." The ground started to move away, Luz running off as the crowd gasped. A large abomination with metal armor was lifted onto the stage. "The Abomaton 2.0!"

Everyone gasped, including Amity, Lucila, Willow, and Gus. Amity removed her cloak, running to a ladder immediately. The three turned around in confusion. "Amity, wait!" Willow stepped forward to stop her, but she and Gus were immediately caught by guards. Lucila gasped, pulling out an ice glyph.

"Let my friends go!"

"No, don't! You'll get caught!" Gus whispered to her and she froze in alarm.

"Go help Amity and Luz!" Willow told her and she gave a look of concern, a guard coming up from behind. "Luci, don't worry about us, they need you! Look out!"

Lucila ducked her head as the abomination guard was leaning forward to capture her. She slid underneath it and ran for the ladder, climbing as fast as she could.

"It's bigger, it's better. The Abomaton 2.0 is the perfect soldier," Odalia continued speaking. "It won't rest until its enemy is completely eliminated." The crowd applauded as she stepped off-stage, Luz chuckling nervously.

"You're a big boy, aren't ya?" Luz asked meekly, and it responded by turning its hands into a flail and a claw. She gasped sharply, rolling away as it attacked. Then it stretched out its hands towards her, and she ducked, trying to get away, but the Abomaton grabbed her leg. She fell onto the ground, right in front of Odalia. "Okay. It's super strong. I think the crowd gets it."

"She has a point, Odalia," Alador spoke up.

"Didn't you hear me?" The woman didn't seem to care, hands behind her back. "It won't rest until its enemy is completely eliminated!"

Luz screamed as the Abomaton lifted her off the ground and threw her up into the catwalk. "Okay. At least it can't get me up here," She smiled in relief, but then it proved her wrong by jumping and landing behind her. "Luz, you fool!" The girl chastised herself, preparing an ice glyph. She dropped it while running off, with the Abomaton hitting ice instead. She picked up a long ice shard, briefly sword-fighting it. She threw ice in its face, running off again. Amity and Lucila were almost reaching her, the green-haired girl not protesting since she was Luz's older sister. Luz's weapon was cut into pieces, making her fall onto the ground.

Emira and Edric ran in wearing cloaks, scoping for Lucila...well, Edric was, Emira had followed him since he felt that she was in trouble. "There!" Emira pointed to the ladder.

Luz screamed as the Abomaton swung, hitting a pipe that emitted smoke. She grunted as she jumped from pipe to pie, the Abomaton destroying them. She looked up and took out a plant glyph, the vine swinging her up even further. She swung around, fire glyph ready, while the Abomaton pulled out its own weapon, and they collided into an explosion. The crowd ran off as the two of them fell, but when the smoke emitted, Luz was hanging onto the vine, wrapped in it a few feet above the ground. She glanced around and then it broke.

"Hey, I'm alive," She smiled, and the Abomaton grabbed her leg. "Oh, no." It slowly stood up, forming its free hand into a sickle blade. "I'm dead!"

The sickle blade was about to finish her off when it suddenly stopped, a vine grabbing it from above to hold it in place. Luz looked up in confusion as the vine pulled away the blade from Luz, the other hand letting her go. Suddenly a fire glyph was thrown at the sickle blade, and both arms exploded. Luz was baffled, wondering what happened.

"Hey!"

They looked up at the new voice, seeing two shadows from the catwalk. The cloaks moved away from them to reveal Lucila and Amity. "Stay away from my Luz!" Amity declared, cloaks blowing from the wind. Lucila swiftly let go of the vine, fists clenched. Edric and Emira smiled in relief upon seeing her.

"Amity? Lucila?" Luz murmured upon seeing them.

Hooty and Lilith were still outside, the woman sitting on the ice swan. She was practicing combining glyphs when a crash was heard from the Owl House. She knocked on the door out of concern. "Edalyn? Are these distress noises, or normal noises?"

"Totally normal~!" Eda called out, her and King trying to fight off the glowing blob. "Don't come in! I am your mother. You will obey me and die!" She attacked it, but it hit her with one of the spikes, knocking her backwards.

"Eda, help me!" King cried out as he was getting SWALLOWED by it. "Help me, Eda! Eda, help me!" She watched him get swallowed, gasping in horror. When she wanted to best her sister, she didn't mean to do this!

"Uggh, fine," She admitted defeat. "Lilith, emergency!"

Lilith kicked the door open and noticed what was going on. "Whoa."

"Yeah, yeah. I messed up. I'm ready to follow the rules..." Eda said reluctantly.

"Actually, I'd like to try an experiment," Lilith held up her glyphs and opened up a scroll, smirking.

"Hoot-hoooooooot!" Hooty wiggled his body with a smile.

Amity jumped onto a cable, sliding down it. Lucila followed her, spinning around. The two landed side-by-side in front of Luz.

Odalia gritted her teeth at this, using her gem to talk to Amity again while Alador looked a little shocked. "Amity Blight, you are in so much tr-" She held up the gem and crushed it in her hand, causing the woman to gasp.

"Luz," Amity glanced over her shoulder. "Are you okay?"

Luz blushed at the girl, nodding. "Uh-huh."

"Good," Lucila smiled at her, gritting her teeth. "That woman's gonna pay for having you do this."

"Look out!" She warned the two, Amity losing control as the Abomaton stood up, ready to fight. Amity spun a spell circle and pointed her magic before it could punch them. "Lucila! I need you to restraint it!"

She nodded sharply, leaping forward and putting a plant glyph on it. It activated and wrapped vines around the creation. Lucila slid underneath it, giving it another plant glyph to wrap more vines around it. Then she held up a fire glyph, ready to burn it if necessary.

"You dare!" Odalia shouted at Lucila. "Amity, get away from the humans!"

"No. You're gonna listen to me for once," Amity stated defiantly, causing the Abomaton to boil. "Luz, Lucila, Willow, and Gus are my friends. They're nice to each other. They listen to each other. They make me think about the kind of person I really want to be!" She swung her hands down, making it fall as it had lost its hands at this point. Luz smirked and stood back-to-back with Amity, glyphs ready. The two glanced at each other and blushed, Lucila trying not to squeal nearby. She cleared her throat, keeping a serious look towards the Blight parents.

"Ugh! What do you want?" Odalia demanded, as they were losing money. Alador, meanwhile, looked actually impressed at the trio.

"Let my friends back into Hexside, or else your precious investors will watch me rip this thing apart bit by bit. And Luci will melt it until it isn't recognized!"

Luz leaned in to whisper, "Can you actually do that?"

"Shh."

"No, but we'll let them believe that anyway," Lucila winked at her sister. The crowd started booing, Emira and Edric looking proud.

"Boo!"

"This is horrible!"

Odalia gritted her teeth, admitting defeat. "Fine! It's a deal. Just stop with the theatrics." The trio smirked at each other, Lucila dropping her fire glyph. She stepped forward and Amity released control. It formed a hammer, swinging it down towards the three. Amity pushed Luz to the ground while Lucila braced herself.

"No!" Edric whispered, waving a spell finger. The hammer seemed to crush the two girls, with a seemingly defeated Lucila nearby. The Abomaton turned the hammer back to its normal hand. The two girls opened their eyes while Lucila looked up. Turns out that the one on the floor was just an illusion, while the real one had snuck back up to the catwalk, smiling. She looked down at Edric, who flinched and waved. She knew that he was in the crowd, so she waited for her chance so that Odalia would think that it was her on the ground. Unfortunately, she couldn't save the other two, but thankfully they were okay.

The Abomaton then shut down, the crowd cheering. Willow and Gus looked horrified. "Luz! Luci!" The two released themselves, running forward. Numbers went really high, but Odalia didn't seem to care as she growled.

"As if I'd actually let them go back. I will call every authority I know. I'll make sure they can't-"

"Odalia," Alador interrupted her, for once. "You made a deal with your daughter, and a Blight always upholds their end of the deal," He reminded his wife, glancing at the group of friends. Lucila had snuck back down onto the stage before they saw her, and she smiled as Willow helped up Luz. "Besides, she's getting stronger." The five walked off, and he placed his hands on her shoulders. "Strong enough to become a coven head some day."

"...Wise words, dear. We have to focus on what's best for the family..." She glanced around and saw him chasing a butterfly. "ALADOR!" She slapped her forehead, turning back to the group. "Lucila, a word?"

They all came to a stop, the other four not looking happy with her. She glared over her shoulder. "If it's about the demonstration, how dare you do this to my sister? Other than that, I want nothing to do with you."

"It's about your enrollment back at Hexside..."

She raised a skeptical brow, the others confused. "Mom, what's done is done. My friends are going back to school," Amity stated bravely.

"The deal was that I'd get your three friends back to Hexside. But Lucila is older, you see. She can get herself back into school seeing how she's Luz's guardian and all."

The five gasped at this.

"What?! But I'd have to start over from scratch, and retake the entrance test!" Lucila gestured to herself.

"Young ladies such as yourself can look for themselves," Odalia smirked, hands behind her back.

"That's not fair!" Luz exclaimed angrily. "You said that we'd get back into-"

"Yes, that was the deal. But Lucila was left out due to her age. That's what you signed in your contract before you became our replacement," She held up the paper that Luz signed, the fine print stating only Willow, Luz, and Gus would be admitted back.

Lucila growled, clenching her fists angrily. She wasn't mad at Luz, she was mad at Odalia for tricking her sister into thinking that all of them would get back into Hexside. She only made Luz sign it so that the girl would have a harder time in school, probably for talking back to the woman (which she had no regrets or hang-ups about).

"Mom-"

"A deal's a deal!" She waved to them and Lucila stormed off, the others going after her.

"I'm really sorry, Luci. We tried," Amity placed a hand on her shoulder, the girl sighing slowly.

"It's…fine. Starting over…might be a good thing when I return to school. We should go home before Willow and Gus' parents start to worry," She gestured to everyone. "I've got a lot of studying to do. Don't worry, I'll explain everything to them for you."

The four glanced at each other in worry as she didn't seem fine at all. Lucila glanced down at some abomination goo on the ground, tossing an ice glyph on the ground. She tapped it with her foot and an icicle popped out of the floor, flinging the goo onto Odalia. She screamed in alarm, clenching her fists. She would yell at the girl, but she had already ensured that the girl wouldn't get into Hexside, so they were at least even...

King sneezed from the cold temperature, cooped up in a blanket while holding tea. After they got him out, he was gaining a cold. Eda and Lilith sat across from each other, Lilith drawing glyphs confidently. "Okay, so, uh, how did you beat that thing again?"

"Would you like me to lay out the basics?" Lilith smirked up at her.

"Yes."

"Well, you were right," Lilith and Eda looked at King in worry as he was shivering. "These glyphs act like the basic elements, but instead of containing magic like we do," Lilith had a look of realization. She bent down and started drawing. "They command the magic around them. They're like words. And drawing glyphs on top of each other like you did-"

"Was like screaming three different words at the same time. The spell got confused."

Lilith finished drawing the linked combination of two ice glyphs, one light one, and one fire. "Yes. The glyph combo, copyright me, Lilith," She held up the large paper. "Helps organize the command." She pressed it against the blob, and it melted into snow. "So you can combine and specify what you want to do."

King shivered, snot dropping from his nose as snow was on his head. "A-b-bout t-time!"

"So, with the right combo, you can cast any spell!" Eda rubbed her chin, smiling.

"Maybe the reason Luz and Luci haven't found or have been taught any more glyphs is because there aren't any more," King suggested to them.

"Then we better start learning some new combinations," Eda smiled, the door slamming open to reveal the two sisters at the door, Lucila looking a bit upset.

"Hey, guys," Luz sighed a bit sadly, stepping inside.

"Hey, girls. We actually learned something new," Eda informed them as they walked past.

"Sorry. Can it wait till later? We need to lie down."

"Wait, Miss Teachers!" Lilith turned around and then revealed ice sculptures of them giving her a gold star. "Do I get extra credit?"

"Oh! My gosh," Luz reacted with surprise.

"Um, sure, whatever," Lucila replied, not seeming to care.

"I can do it too," Eda pouted, tapping her glyph, but it turned into an ice ball that rolled away. "Hmm?'

The two glanced to each other, feeling a bit awkward. They figured to just give them equal extra credit, or else they'd hear about this for a while. "Wow. Yeah. Extra credit for everyone," She and her sister tossed one star each, Lilith catching hers and snuggling it.

King let out another sneeze, wondering if this was all worth it.

"Oh, despite the spectacle, this was quite a successful sale," Odalia commented to her husband as abominations were cleaning up the mess. He smiled at her. "Excellent job on the 2.0, dear."

"Yes, your Abomatons are quite extraordinary," The Golden Guard spoke up, suddenly arriving with two Coven Scouts. "Too bad no one will be receiving them." Odalia bowed, and then pulled down her husband to do the same. "The Emperor will be buying every one of your abomatons and will personally fun research into making them stronger," He explained as they stepped forward.

"T-That's...great news!" Odalia looked up at him. "We're honored to have-"

"You should be. Emperor Belos doesn't take kindly to citizens making a...private army," They started to leave, the two standing up and glancing to each other.

The Golden Guard then flinched, glancing over his shoulder as he remembered something.

"Oh, and as the Golden Guard, I order you to allow the older human, Lucila Noceda, back into Hexside as a student."

Odalia was baffled by this, wondering how he found that out, gesturing to her dirty clothes. "But she—"

"We wouldn't want the Emperor to have a chat with Principal Bump about unlawful expulsion…now would we?"

It wasn't his business, and it shouldn't be. But if someone was making Lucila cry, he had a strong desire to help her, even if she didn't know about it. The girl…the girl just looked really sad, and he didn't want to see that. And he definitely wasn't going to let someone continue to make her upset.

"…No. O-Of course not," Odalia relented to him.

"Good. Then I trust that this conversation doesn't leave this room?" He didn't wait for an answer and he walked off.

"Why would the Golden Guard be so invested into the older human girl…?" The woman didn't like it; it was too strange for her to believe.

"You did treat her unfairly, Odalia," Alador told her, and she clenched her fists.

"She was the one being dramatic! And look what she did to me! I don't know why he cares so much about her…but we will find out."

Lucila sat on the couch sadly, hugging herself. She couldn't believe she'd had to start over, she'd be drastically behind...even after a much-needed shower, she still didn't feel any better.

"I'm so sorry, Luci!" Luz frowned at her sister, feeling awful. "I-I'll go talk to Mrs. Blight again, maybe-"

"Luz, after what happened tonight, there's no way you're going back there to show off more products!" The girl protested, sighing slowly. "I'll...I'll be okay. After all, I've got you guys to help me," She smiled weakly at them, and they smiled at her. Suddenly the crow phone rang and Lucila took it. "Hello? Principal Bump?" She asked in surprise, blinking.

"What's he saying?" Luz questioned, and they got no answer as Lucila recoiled back a bit.

"Oh...wow, thank you. That's really generous of you. Okay, I'll see you tomorrow."

"What? What is it?" King asked in anticipation and Lucila looked up.

"He said he pulled some strings and he got me enrolled back in hexside. I don't even have to restart, I just have to fill out some paperwork tomorrow."

"Old Bumpie probably realized he was being a dingus," Eda snorted at her.

"Or maybe the Blights changed their mind."

"Doubtful. I don't care who's behind it, as long as I get to go back to school!" Lucila cheered, her friends and sister hugging her. Though at the back of her mind, she couldn't help but wonder who was behind this.

Angel: Sorry if Lucila's hatred of Odalia seems overblown to some, but if I hate a character, I usually have my OCs feel the same way. As in, the OC's feelings are usually mine most of the time. For example, Nova's hatred of Clarence from Final Space. I just cannot stand Amity's parents. Alador is someone I like just a tad bit more, but that's not saying much. I know the phrase 'love to hate' exists, but I genuinely hate Odalia T^T And I know it's just a show, but the fact that a cartoon character can make me feel that way is really telling.

As for whether or not I ship Luz and Hunter? Uhh, if people couldn't already tell, he's in a love triangle with Lucila and Edric, so that's an easy answer. Not sure if it's a joke or not since Hunter is in a love triangle with Luz's sister...XD

But in all seriousness, I see why people would ship it in a romantic sense. As for me, it's obviously not going to be a thing in the show, or in this story either. Maybe if Lumity didn't exist, and this was in an alternate universe, then maybe I'd ship them? Or if the obvious love triangle with Lucila did not exist in this story and Amity didn't as well, then maybe. But the Hunting Palismen episode gave me a brother-sister vibe more than a romantic one, so I don't think I would ship them in a romantic way in an alternate universe either. They did have some moments in Hunting Palismen that could be seen as romantic, but even then, I think I lean towards the no side about shipping it after thinking about it more and more. I just see them as siblings and nothing else.

I'm sorry if that answer infuriates Luz/Hunter shippers out there, but it's just my opinion!

Also, the part where Lucila flicked abomination goo at Odalia was jebens1's idea, the same person who's done fanart of Lucila before. If you haven't already, go check out his art, it's really impressive and he's done a lot more than just Lucila that's for my stories! So go check him out on Deviantart, and thanks again to jebens1 for the idea.
