![]() Author has written 27 stories for Prince of Tennis, Harry Potter, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Eyeshield 21, Deadman Wonderland/デッドマン・ワンダーランド, Fire Emblem, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Name: Does it matter? Gender: Guess. 50% chance of being right. Appearance: Think nerdy and pimples. Personality: I like talking to people, though I'm not always very nice. Favorite Anime/Manga: The list changes all the time. Usually, I only read the manga, though. -Masca - A female magician apprentice meets a demon lord. Her teacher objects to the demon lord's interest in his apprentice. A unique love triangle set in a fantastic world and, wow, the art. Words don't do it justice. And for once, the girl isn't an idiot who relies on the men in her life to save her from everything. -Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro - This is a mystery/psychological manga. It probably also counts as horror, which should say a lot about it. The story revolves around a demon who comes out of hell in order to taste mysteries while accompanied by (read: forcing) a young schoolgirl to act as his figurehead. My favorite arc was the one with HAL - I cried. However, a lot of the characters die. It reminds me somewhat of Death Note, actually. -Shiawase Kissa Sanchoume - A romantic comedy, with way too many guys fighting over one short, little girl, but it does a good job of keeping the romance sweet without being sickening. The little girl who is in high school but looks like an elementary kid, however, is strong. Very, very strong. She starts working in a bakery, and everything escalates from there. It's soft and light and really, really cute. -Gintama - Imagine that aliens took over Japan - oh, and the rest of the world as well. This was sometime during the feudal-ish age, so the samurai who tried to drive the aliens out ended up as practically pariahs. The main character is one such defunct samurai. Seriously though, this series has the wackiest characters I've ever seen. Better yet, none of them have much in the way of notions about honor and justice but they're still good guys. The series involves lots of humor (often of the slapstick variety), little sci-fi terminology, and extremely well-fleshed-out characters. -Ludwig Revolution - This one is rather similar to a graphic version of Grimm's fairy tales, only they're worse and more macabre than the original version. They take a perverted, beautiful prince with an unfortunate case of necrophilia and set him in the midst of a bunch of fairy tales. The art's wonderful, the storyline's incredible, and - it's like an r-rated version of the childhood stories. -Get Backers - What I really like about this one is the humor. Yeah, the main characters are crude idiots who are a lot more than they seem, but their relationships and the way everyone's a big happy family even when they're trying to kill each other makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Not to mention the fact that they aren't typical heroes, growing stronger through training arcs slowly. No, the main characters are already awesome at the start of it, saving me from the usual getting-beaten-up before beating up the bad guy. Best of all, it's fun. Favorite Books: The Black Jewel Trilogy, for one. Lord of the Rings, Good Omens, Ken Follett, and Bill Bryson are also favorites. Several others that no one's ever heard of. Mystery, historical, fantasy, science fiction... anything but westerns and romance, really. Favorite Movies: I don't watch them, if at all possible. Fanfics I've Written: Please scroll down to the bottom. Lots of oneshots; longer stories are not finished. Things I Hate in Fanfics: Oh, dozens. But they've all been said before, somewhere, so I'll spare anyone reading this the horrors of a full-fledged rant. Status: I am still writing, though some of my multi-chapter fics may never reach completion. But, well, I'm trying? |
