He was the first to down a considerable swig. Still standing, he looked at Hermione as if he had been betrayed. "Are you saying you spoke with my mother and didn't tell me about it?"

Hermione bowed her head and sighed before she looked him in the eye disbelieving. "Is that what you got out of that story? The message wasn't for you Harry, and we kinda had a few things to take care of at the time, what with Severus being possessed and all. Besides, what was I supposed to say? Oh, by the way your mum dropped by to say 'Hi' the other night. It kinda fell by the wayside as I was recovering from being DEAD. I'm better now, thank you very much." Her pregnancy had made Hermione a bit aggressive and short tempered. If Severus didn't suffer fools well, Hermione put them on an open spit to roast.

They all looked at her with their mouths open and Harry sat down with a red face. Arthur stood and commanded the attention of the room. "I believe you Severus. The truth of it is all over both of your faces. Hermione you believe this woman can help Molly." It was a simple statement. "What does she need from us?"

Hermione refocused on the family. "I believe she can see and hear Fred. Perhaps when Molly knows that Fred is okay, talks to him, maybe she'll snap out of it. There's no guarantees, but it's better than doing nothing or drugging her into oblivion. Which is what they will do at St. Mungos. Please. We must try. Lydia doesn't want anything from you but a little faith and patience."

Arthur looked tired. He had been trying to get through to Molly since she began to block out everything but her grief. He and the children really hadn't had time to deal with their own grief while trying to help Molly. "Harry? Will you and Hermione and Severus give us a minute? We need to talk about this."

Harry nodded and the three of them were leaving. "Oh, and please don't take this the wrong way. You and Hermione were adopted into our hearts and our family long ago. It's just that…"

Harry looked quickly at Hermione who nodded slightly. "It's okay Arthur. We both understand." The two of them walked out the door, but Severus stayed behind a moment to add a silencing spell on the room so they could talk without reservation. Severus looked at Arthur with compassion and left.

Little was said between the three of them there in front of the fire. Hermione held onto Severus for support and Harry held his head in his hands looking down at the floor most of the time. About an hour later they all came out to the living room where they were waiting. Arthur spoke for the family. "Hermione. First, we want to thank you for trying to help us. It has been difficult to process our own grief with Molly's pain being so evident. It was something we have been avoiding with each other. Now that we have had a chance to discuss it openly, it has been much of a relief to us all. Second. We have all agreed, to varying degrees, to have Professor Thornwood try to help Molly. Can you arrange a date and time to proceed with her?"

Hermione stood and embraced Arthur. Pulling back, she looked at their faces, most of them with red, tear filled eyes. "Are you all sure? This will not be easy for any of you. You must let her do and say what she needs to without interference. No matter what that may be." They shook their heads in agreement. "I'm sorry, but I need your word, all of you. Otherwise she will not agree to help." They each gave their word to her as the left with a hug from her. Arthur was last and Hermione held him as best she could with her baby bump. He smiled and patted her belly. "You know Molly and I love you Hermione, and Harry. Like one of our own." He cupped her cheek and smiled. "Let me know when she is ready."

Harry had pulled Severus aside as Hermione addressed the Weasleys. "We need to talk Severus."

Severus looked calmly at the man before him. Trembling with emotion, still so much like a boy when his mother is mentioned. "There's nothing to discuss. You have heard all there was to it."

The anger in Harry's face was bordering on fury. "My mother is still with you somehow and you say there is nothing to discuss?" His voice had risen louder than he wanted. He eyed Hermione to see if she had heard, then returned to a quieter tone. "You're going to help me contact her." It wasn't a request, but a demand.

Severus would not be ordered about by anyone. He'd had enough of that for two decades to last a lifetime. "Mr. Potter I understand your upset about what happened, but that doesn't give you the right to try to order me about. I had nothing to do with your mother contacting me. I would not summon her for you even if I could. She made it clear that she only wished to thank me and then moved on. Now, if you want more you will need to make arrangements with Professor Thornwood, but I suggest you, Get. A. Grip, before you try to demand it of her. I'll remind you, that you had the resurrection stone and threw it away. Apparently, you were wiser then, than you are now. This desire you have will drive you to madness."

Hermione came back to Severus after the Weasley's had left. She saw that there was something going on between Harry and Severus, but it disappeared in front of her like vapor. Severus put his arm around her waist as she stood next to him and gently kissed her temple. "What are you two talking about?"

"Nothing of importance my love." He could lie to the Dark Lord's face convincingly; so Hermione was a piece of cake. "Harry was just asking how you were doing with the pregnancy. I told him to be careful of my lioness. I don't tolerate anyone upsetting you." He smiled warmly at her and sent a message to Harry at the same time. "Are we done here? You need to rest. It's been a difficult day."

He led her to the floo and she gave Harry a hug. "Have a good night Harry. I'll let you know when we can set up a meeting with Lydia." She smiled as they stood in the fireplace and Severus dropped the powder. They disappeared before she could see the look in Harry's eyes. This wasn't over.
