Monday 11th January(Kings Cross Station-8:20AM)

The station was alive with people commuting to work, completely oblivious to the three teenagers disappearing through the wall of platform 9 3/4.

"It always amuses me seeing first year muggleborns make their way through, no matter how many times they do it." Sirius said just after we passed through to wall. We were greeted with the sight of two blonde first years, both with blue ties, who's faces were a mixture of giggles and amazement. They looked up at Sirius and James and blushed before running off in the direction of the train.

"Think you've got some fangirls." I said, pulling my luggage along the platform.

"Oh Sirius and I have always had fangirls, always been the most handsome in the year." James replied, coming up and swinging an arm around my shoulders.

"Always the most humble as well I assume?" I asked, raising my eyebrows at him as I shrugged his arm off.

He flashed me a grin before turning to search further down the platform.

"Looking for anyone in particular James?" I said, smirking.

He snapped his head back. "No."

"Oh really?" Sirius chimed in, coming up beside me and his shoulder brushing mine.

James' eyes widened and he turned to me accusingly. "You told him!?"

"I'm hurt you didn't tell me yourself!" Sirius said, pointing his finger at James with a mock hurt expression.

I shoved Sirius playfully, my thoughts going back to New Year's Eve.

...

"Wait in here." I deposited Sirius on the sofa in the living room and he winced as he prodded his eye. "And stop touching it."

He pouted at me before I left the room. Music was still blaring from the garden as I waded through the people in the hallway to get the bathroom under the stairs, but upon finding it locked I made my way upstairs to the second bathroom. The noise was significantly quieter upstairs and I found myself taking a moment to breathe.

One half of my heart was hurting for Eddie and shameful but the other half of my heart was going a thousand miles a minute. Sirius likes me and I like him. I smiled to myself as I opened the door to the bathroom.

"AH-"

"-OCCUPIED!"

My hand went to my mouth as I took in the scene before me. Lily was sat on the counter of the bathroom sink, her legs wrapped around James' torso, her hands in his hair. James was positioned between her legs, his hands low on her back and his tie loose around his neck. They were both looking at me in shock, mouths red.

"I'm sorry!" I said trying to suppress a laugh.

"This isn't what it looks like." Lily said, detaching herself from James.

"Oh please tell me what it is." Laughter was escaping me.

She stared at me, mouth open. "...Yeah I've got nothing."

"If you don't mind Hermione, we were kinda busy." James grinned at me as he gestured for me to leave.

"Oh right, my bad, carry on." I closed the door behind me. "Be safe kids!" I called through the door to them.

"Go!"

...

"There was no way I was keeping that to myself." I looked at James pointedly and he sighed.

"Don't you dare say anything, you'll scare her off." He said, pointing a finger back at Sirius.

"I would never!" Sirius replied but his face said otherwise.

(Hogwarts Express- 8:37AM)

Remus and Peter were already in the compartment when we arrived.

"Hey guys." Peter said, beaming at us. Remus looked pale and appeared to be wearing multiple jumpers. He barely glanced at us.

"You alright Moony?" James said, pushing his luggage up above and sitting beside him. Remus made a non committal grunt. I moved to put my trunk up above too but Sirius took it from me, placing it overhead. I smiled appreciatively at him before sitting beside Peter.

"Scoot over Pete." Sirius said before wedging himself between me and Peter.

"You do realise there was room on the other bench?" Peter mumbled.

"I know." Sirius grinned at him before turning to me and resting his head on my shoulder.

"Comfy?" I asked, eyebrows raised.

"Definitely."

It wasn't long before Peter and James fell into quiet chatter as Sirius and Remus napped. My fingers and come up to comb through Sirius' soft hair and my head rested on his. The strong smell of smoke and leather came again mixed with a woody shampoo and I felt myself lulling into sleep too.

...

"Piss off Snivellus, you're not welcome." I heard James sneer as I roused from my sleep.

"You act like I want to be here, I'm looking for Lily." I heard his cold reply.

I was facing away from them at first but I turned to see Snape standing in the compartment doorway, just barely, it looked like it was taking everything in him to do so. A disdainful look on his face.

"What do you want with Evans?" James said, rising from his seat, hand tightening around his wand.

"Oh please Potter, put that thing away before you hurt yourself." Snape mocked and looked around the compartment. "Lupin's looking a little peaky isn't he?" He cocked his head to one side, a smirk forming on his lips. "His time of the month?"

James lunged at him, grabbing Snape's robes by the collar and point a wand to his neck. "Another word and you won't be able to speak for a month."

I rose from my seat, my own fury bubbling up inside. "James." He looked back at me, surprised to see that I was awake. "Leave it."

The look James gave me was conflicted, but the grip on his wand slowly loosened and fell away from Snape's throat.

Snape's expression changed from anger to mocking in a second. "That's it Potter, run along like a good little boy."

James swung around to hit Snape right in the nose but I grabbed his arm last second. Holding tightly on to his fist, I glared at Snape. "Go now before I call McGonagall."

Snape narrowed his eyes at me before swiftly turning to leave. I breathed a sigh of relief and turned back to the fuming James beside me.

"What the bloody hell did you do that for?" He asked, pulling his arm from me and moving to back to his seat, his eyes lingering on the door.

"I was stopping you from getting a detention the first day back." I said, moving back to my own seat beside Sirius, who had woken from the noise.

"Detention already Padfoot?" He raised his eyebrows. "Impressive."

I rolled my eyes and settled back into Sirius' side. My head fell to his shoulder and I felt his hand lace with mine, his thumb drawing patterns. I looked up to see James eyeing us.

"So when did this happen?" He asked, a small smile coming back to his face.

"I already told you." Sirius said, giving James a pointed look.

"You told me NOTHING." He scowled at Sirius before turning to me with a sweet smile. "I wanna hear Mione's version anyway."

"Well tough, you don't get to." I said matter of a factly.

"Awww come on, tell me." James whined, moving to kneel on his knees before me, his hands clasped in a prayer. "Pretty please?"

"No." I grinned as he sighed dramatically and fell back into his seat.

"How is it fair that you guys get to know about Evans but I don't get to know about you two?" He complained.

"Because Sirius and I don't go around snogging in bathrooms and getting caught." I said.

"Give it time love." Sirius smirked and I felt my stomach flip.

I rolled my eyes again, trying to hide the blush forming on my cheeks.

Tuesday 12thJanuary (Hogwarts-7:45AM)

Sirius wasn't kidding when he said give it time. We'd only been at Hogwarts for a day before he pulled me into an alcove on our way to breakfast.

His breath was hot on my neck as he kissed and sucked. My hands were wound in his hair, messing up his perfect curls, tugging every time he nipped at my throat. I felt his hands make their way under my cardigan and begin working at untucking my shirt.

I pulled his mouth up to mine for a kiss as his hands made contact with the skin at my waist, pulling my body closer to his. My lips parted and I felt his tongue slip into my mouth. A groan escaped him as I ran my fingers through his hair before moving to face. His hands moved downwards from my waist and squeezed.

My eyes popped open in surprise at his confidence and I pulled away from our kiss.

He looked at me with worry. "Too much?"

"No no, just took me off guard." I said, smiling. "We should probably head to to dinner before people start to ask questions."

He looked a little disappointed but quickly grinned to hide it. "You're right, James is probably already blabbing to everyone".

I quickly tucked my shirt back into my skirt as he fixed his. "You sure you're okay with us stopping?" I asked nervously.

He looked at me with an expression I couldn't figure out. "Hermione, we have all the time in the world, I'm perfectly happy with how we are now."

I smiled at him before stepping out of the alcove and we made our way to the great hall for dinner.

We made our way over to the Gryffindor table and we were met by a frantic James.

"Guys have you heard?" He asked us quickly as we sat down.

"Heard what?" I asked, my brows knitting together, something didn't feel right.

"He's missing." James replied, his eyes wide. "I mean I never liked the guy but.."

My stomach sank.

"Who's missing?" I heard Sirius ask.

"Eddie." Lily replied as she sat down opposite us. "No ones seen him since New Years."

Ahhhhhhhh

Bet you didn't see that one coming!

I've got a question for you guys, do you want more explicit scenes? I've bumped the rating up to M but I'm not sure how explicit I'll go with it but I just wanted to know what the general consensus is on it?

As always, favourite and review!
