Sorry for not posting in a while. Between the pandemic, moving and life... Lets just say I'm happy to be back to finishing this story. TY for all the support, and for those that read this story.

Regina awoke seeing that she was still in the future. She looked around and found her room to be rather, empty. Where was Uther?

She couldn't help but think he was up to something. She was quick to get out of bed and with a wave of her hand she changed out of nightgown to her normal clothing. Regina too a few steps and then paused. She looked down to see she was wearing clothing like she would in Storybrooke. With a huff and a second wave of her hand, she changed into her queen like clothing.

Leaving her room she felt the silence echoing through the halls. Even when she ruled the halls wouldn't be this quiet. "Silence." She let hiss through her teeth.

Regina found her way into the dinning hall to find Uther sitting at the head of the table. His chair turned just enough so he could have his cane in front of him. One hand placed on his chin while the other held the top of the cane. Twisting it ever so slightly his eyes were dead focused on it.

"What are you doing?" Regina finally asked as she made her way over to him.

Uther pulled himself from his thoughts and looked over to Regina. The woman standing before him was indeed the mother of his children. He could not ignore this, nor did he want to admit it. "Thinking." He muttered in a deep voice.

Regina lightly folded her arms as she looked the man over, "About what?" She held a bit of sass in her tone which could also be mistaken as annoyance.

Uther felt a heavy weight upon his shoulders, so he let his eyes shift back to his cane. "They will be up soon." He muttered.

"Who will be up soon?" Regina felt her nerves burning. She was never one for these games unless she was the ring leader of them.

Regina spoke all too soon as Edith rushed into the room. While Regina was caught off guard Uther had expected the arrival.

"Midget number one." he turned and somewhat forced a smile to Regina. He wanted to admit that he did enjoy her reactions from time to time. He really liked it when she was angry. Like a wild fire waiting to devour a forest.

Edith was quick to take her seat on the left of Uther. She hummed as she wiggled and wormed in her chair. "food, food, food, food." She whispered in a little melody.

Regina smiled at Edith's entrance. She slowly took a seat to the right of Uther, not realizing that she was joining the table. "Are you hungry?" She asked. She had to admit that Edith at this age was freaking adorable. She leaned on a hand as Edith kept her hum and nodded. "Where is Coal?" she asked.

Edith shrugged and shook her head. "Being stupid." she added.

Uther couldn't help but smirk. He tried to hide his expression as best as he could, only for Regina to notice. The look on her face went from gentle to sour. Uther waved it off, "I'm sure he will be down shortly." Uther placed his cane aside and moved his chair closer to the table. He leaned over towards Regina, "We need to talk." He whispered into her ear.

Regina snapped away and gave him a serious look. "About what?"

Uther motioned towards Edith, "And that one." He pointed to Coal who was making his way into the hall.

The look in Coal's eyes said that he was dead tired, but the rest of him said functional. Coal took a seat next to Regina. He let out a solid breath through his nose and let his shoulders drop. He looked up to see Edith making weird faces at him as she continued to hum and wiggle. coal narrowed his eyes at her.

Uther snapped his fingers grabbing Regina's attention. When she looked back the table was full of food. Edith literally took one of the center platers and placed it in front of herself. The mountain of food made her invisible from Regina's eyes.

She let her eyes shift to see that Coal seemed to be a bit more picky than Edith. Choosing some fruit she smile when he picked up a red apple. "Do you want me to," Regina turned to Uther when she felt his hand over hers.

"I'm sure he can handle breakfast." He told her. He looked past Regina to see a very watchful Coal. Uther knew he would be watching their every move, which is why he wanted to speak with Regina as soon as possible. He already knew that Coal was too smart for his own good, but he was also smart about not showing it.

Regina went to take her hand away but Uther held onto it. He picked it up and placed both his hands around hers. Leaning forward he locked eyes with her. He gently kissed her hand before placing it back on the table.

Regina's eyes went wide at his actions. She was beyond words. The enemy just kissed her hand. Uther of all enemies. The one that wanted to kill her son. The one that put Gold in the hospital, the one that attacked them at the hospital. Regina narrowed her eyes at him before looking back to Coal. she was taken back when she noticed the look on the young Coal's face. Coal slowly chewed his food before taking another bite from his apple.

Regina turned towards her own plate feeling the room watching her. She could even see Edith peering over her mountain of food, looking at her. As if they were all waiting for her to make a wrong move, or any move at that matter. She made eye contact with Uther, this time seeing something different in his eyes.

She sat up straight and started to place food on her plate. "Coal don't slouch." She stated firmly.

Now it was Coal's turn to be taken off guard. Coal stared at Regina like a deer in the headlights. He felt something hit he side of his face and he turned to Edith as fast as he could.

Edith smiled as she watched Coal realize that he was wrong. "Your face is priceless." Edith snickered.

Coal narrowed his eyes and pinched his lips together. "Your face is dead." Coal uttered. without really thinking he whipped his apple at Edith. Edith dodged it with a cocky smile plastered on her face. "You can't even throw straight." She mocked as she picked up a spoon and slung oatmeal at Coal. Her aim on the other hand was on point. Smacking Coal dead center.

"Edith!" Regina raised her voice. But even her voice couldn't stop them.

Coal ripped the food from his face and stood up on his chair. Grabbing anything that he could he started to throw food at Edith. Edith pushed her chair back and dodged every shoot Coal threw at her. She used such little effort in retaliation.

"Coal!" Regina stood up and reached out trying to stop the two.

Uther watched leaning back in his chair. He chuckled watching the scene play out before him.

Regina snapped towards him, "You think this is funny?" she asked shoving her hands on her hips.

"If I didn't I wouldn't be laughing." He shrugged.

"that's..." Regina froze when food hit the side of her face.

Uther's jaw dropped at the sight of this. "It's still funny." He shrugged.

Regina narrowed her eyes and turned sharply to both Coal and Edith. "Rooms... Now."

Edith and Coal were both quick to leave, seeing that their mother had that mommy monster voice. Edith had to take a step back, grab some food and then ran like the flash. "Edith." Regina called out to her, but it was too late, Edith disappeared around the corner faster than one could blink.

Regina let out a deep breath before turning to Uther.

"Well that couldn't of have gone better." He told her.

"Better?" Regina blinked, "How is that good in the first place?"

Uther stood up from his chair and walked over to Regina. "Now we get to talk." Uther rolled his tongue over his back molar.

"Talk about what?" Regina felt frustrated as she stepped away and took up a napkin from the table. She started to wipe the food off her face when Uther stepped closer, taking the cloth from her hand. She went to protest but froze when he touched the cloth to her face. He caressed her face with one hand while the other gently wiped the food off.

Once the food was off, Uther gazed into Regina's eyes. Upon doing so, he could see exactly why he would fall for such a woman. He took in a deep breath knowing that this was not the time, nor the place. He took a step back taking his cane from its resting place.

"We need to find a way back." He told her. "We need to get back to the past... Now." He held a very serious tone in his voice and a look on his face to match.

Regina tilted her head feeling as if Uther wasn't going to share what he knew. She could tell that something had drastically changed in him. She couldn't yet tell if it was for better or worse. But she felt he was right. They shouldn't be in the future. They did need to find a way back.

Katie walked into her apartment locking the door behind her rather quickly. She leaned against it breathing rather heavily. She shoved herself from the room, grabbing her chest. She used what ever she could to keep her standing, but by the time she got to the living room she collapsed on the floor.

She felt a sharp pain rush over her. It would pulse and fade in and out. She couldn't hold her cries back any longer. She had to let her out. "Stop it." She cried. "Just leave me alone." Katie cried into the floor. ears streaming down her face and she could not stand the pain any longer.

As if a light switch had been flipped, Katie stopped crying. Tears still wet her cheeks but they were no longer hers. She opened her eyes showing that she was not Katie from moments ago.

Morgana pushed herself off the floor, holding her side from the change. She still looked exactly like Katie, but her eyes said otherwise. he tone of her voice and the way she held herself. Morgana wiped the tears off her cheeks, "I forgot how weak I once was." She started to fix herself.

"Let me out of here!" a voice cried from the mirror near by. Morgana smirked and walked over to the mirror.

"You know I can't do that." Morgana told her own reflection.

"Give me back my body." Katie demanded.

Morgana laughed as she looked at her nails. "Make me." she bit her bottom lip. She loved a challenge, especially from herself. Morgana felt a pinch in her chest, she laughed at the girls pitiful attempt. "You'll have to do better than that." She whispered into the mirror.

Morgana doubled over feeling that pinch turn into a deep burning feeling. She wasn't ready for that, but she was easily able to swat the attempt away. She fixed her hair turning back to Katie in the mirror. "Nice try. But you wont get your body back that easy." Morgana rolled her eyes.

"Now, to plan our next move." She said to herself as she made her way into her bed room. She walked over to the closet and opened it to reveal a layout of Storybrooke and those within it. Coal's picture the center of it wall. Her eyes locked on to his photo. She took a step closer and traced her fingers over the image.

"You're sick." Katie snapped from the closet mirror.

Morgana was getting more and more annoyed with her past self. "And you are getting on my nerves." She turned to the mirror.

"Why are you doing this?" Katie demanded.

Morgana felt her heart hitch in her chest. "You know exactly why." She told her. Morgana looked over her shoulder at the picture of Coal.

"We, know exactly why." She smirked.
