Author has written 5 stories for Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, Pokémon, and Legend of Zelda. Name: Junior the Wolf; but please, call me Wolf Stories I write: Naruto Likes: Way too many to place here Dislikes: Favorite Characters: Least Favorite Characters: Favorite Pairings: Least Favorite Pairings: Favorite Crossovers with Naruto: xxxxx Something about all the Naruto harem pairings got me thinking. What are my favorite pairings for Naruto? Well, there are several girls that they put with him, harem or not. But what are my opinions on them? Easy. Fuu: Okay, when it comes to pairing Naruto up with another jinchuuriki, this one is my favorite. I don't know much about her and I have yet to see her featured in the anime. Because of this, her personality usually is whatever the author wants it to be. Even so, this pairing has a lot of potential. And since Naruto helped the Hero of the Waterfall Village, Shibumi, this makes the possibility of her liking him all the more plausible. All in all, this one is one of my favorite jinchuuriki pairings. Haruna: Okay, this one could be a bit mixed in my opinion. For starters, these two didn't exactly get off on the right foot. Naruto almost lost Hinata due to the woman's selfishness. To make matters worse, she believed that if she was alive, she could bring the Land of Greens back to the way it was before her father died. On the plus side, she did change her ways in the end and believed in Naruto. However, who's to say that she wanted more than just his advice when she asked him to stay. Maybe she wanted something more? Who knows; we could be jumping the crossbow here. Overall, this one does have merit, but only if Naruto's interested in older women. Sakura Haruno: Canon-wise, this is a no-go. She hits him WAY too much and treats him like garbage no matter what he does. She even hits him when she thinks he's being perverted when, in actuality, he isn't. Unless she doesn't do that to begin with, Sakura should not be paired with Naruto. End of story. Hanabi Hyuuga: She's the exact opposite of Hinata in every way... well, besides looks. Both girls are hot, plain and simple. Pairing her up with Naruto isn't a bad move, but only if she's closer to his age, like being two or three years younger than him. Otherwise, no way. And for those who pair both sisters with him, keep the yuri out of it. They are sisters and incest is just plain wrong in so many ways! Hinata Hyuuga: He's loud, she's quiet. He's brave, she's shy. He's oblivious to her, she's in love with him. How can this pairing work? Simple, divine intervention. I don't like stories where he suddenly notices her while ignoring her for Sakura or when she's crazy horny. Those aren't realistic at all, not according to their real character at least. This is my all-time favorite pairing for they balance each other out very well. Not just in combat, but in life. This is a good pairing if the author does it right. I've seen this pairing done wrong several times and it's a bit saddening. Koyuki Kazahana/Yukie Fujikaze: This is an interesting older woman pairing in my opinion. These two have quite a few things in common, such as their love of acting and being of royal blood... that is if being the son of a Hokage counts at royalty. This does show signs of working, especially if that kiss has any meaning behind it besides her thanking him for saving her life and awakening her faith. She is the Princess, now Queen, of Snow, now Spring, while he's the Prince of Fire. All that's missing from this is a marriage proposal. Yakumo Kurama: He's loud, she's quiet. He's a ninja, she's a painter. He's got a demon sealed inside him, she's possessed by a demon of her own creation. How can this pairing work? Not too sure, to be honest. At first, I would assume she would get to know him after he saved her from herself and the Id monster. Most likely, she might turn into a more confident Hinata, though still a bit shy and would hardly ever faint around the blonde maelstrom. This can be filed under 'Cute Naruto Pairings'. Isaribi: This one is considered a pairing of outcasts. After all, Naruto is hated because of the Nine-Tailed Fox, even though he isn't the fox, and Isaribi is hated for being a monster, even though she's not. Two misunderstood youths coming together... sounds a bit like a fairy tail to me. This one has real merit and, even if they only become friends, would be something I'd like to see and read about. Anko Mitarashi: He's loud, she's loud. He likes ramen, she likes dango. He's into foxes, she's into snakes. Can this pairing actually work? Oh, yes it can! This one is good for humor as they tend to flirt a lot. Ino does too, but not as much as Anko, though that's debatable. The age difference does pose a problem, but she doesn't care. But would Naruto? Nope, not at all. Hey, he scored a babe as a girlfriend. Why should he care if she's older than him? Moegi: Now, if you've read my opinion about Hanabi, this one is slightly similar. Pairing Moegi with Naruto is okay, but only if she's closer to his age... or if they're both adults. Other than that, uh-uh. I mean, Moegi looks up to Naruto as a sort of big brother figure, just like Konohamaru and Udon. While this pairing is rare, her admiration is what usually leads to her falling for him. Compared with Hanabi, I like this pairing more. Yugito Nii: Now this one is interesting. Usually when Yugito and Naruto are paired together, she has a real kinky attitude about her, like Anko. The age difference poses a bit of a problem in most cases, where she's in her twenties while Naruto's fifteen or sixteen. Typically, her age is reduced to where she's closer to his age, like a few years older. I like this pairing for it highlights the whole outcasts sticking together theme. Plus, some authors have either their Bijuu play matchmaker because they are lovers or, in rare cases, their Bijuu joining them. I mean, just about everyone believes that Nibi is female. And on the latter scenario, so is Kyuubi. Temari of the Desert: This one is a tricky one to do, but the reasons for it are easy. One, Naruto and Gaara are good friends and the boy of the sand would probably only trust his sister's care to Naruto. Two, Being the Prince of Fire and the Princess of Wind, these two would most likely get betrothed to each other by their fathers. These two are the most common of them. This pairing can work, especially if Naruto either moves to or lives in the Hidden Sand Village or if Temari moves to the Leaf Village or visits on a regular basis. Tsunade Senju: Yes people, I even went there. Going by age, this is totally wrong. I mean, he's twelve. She's fifty! Come on, there has got to be a law against this somewhere. Now, if she was younger, then I can understand a bit. Drop her age to his generation or the one before, and then we'll talk. His Generation Tsunade: I can see this happening. All you have to do is find a somewhat believable way to cut three-fourths of her age off and just watch the fireworks. Older Generation Tsunade: I can see this happening too. All you have to do is find a somewhat believable way to cut two-thirds of her age off and just watch them mate like rabbits. Kidding! But this is actually more plausible then the other and is easier to write, in my opinion at least. Shion: I don't know if it counts as a pairing or not, seeing as she only wants him to make a child with her. I haven't seen the movie yet, so I can't really comment on this one yet. Tenten: This one can work as well and Naruto/Hinata. I can see it working, but they would need to know each other while they are in the academy. Otherwise, it may not be realistic enough. To be honest, I can only picture her being with Naruto, Neji or Lee. I've read one with Sasuke, another with Gaara and there's even a few OC/Tenten pairings out there. Ino Yamanaka: Everyone knows that blondes have more fun! This pairing can work if she doesn't have a crush on Sasuke to begin with. If she does then goes after Naruto because he's hotter, then no way. For another reason, like being a badass, I can accept that. She's also good in harems too, especially for being kinky! Kurenai Yuuhi: Yes people, this is a common pairing... for the older women. I'm not fully sure on how they would get together, with the whole age difference and all. I mean, she's ten years older than him, I think. She is in my stories, though I think she's actually around Kakashi's age. Now, if he was in his late teens to early twenties, then I can see it happening. As for the reason. Well, the whole 'Kurenai: Well, he is kind of cute.' doesn't always work in my opinion. Same goes with the other older women pairings for him. There are still others, but I haven't added them yet. What's worse is that I haven't seen all the Naruto movies and haven't caught up on both the manga and the anime. Once I have, I should be able to finish and fill in any holes I, most likely, have missed. xxxxx Current Stories: Name: The Kitsune and the Neko Summary: An outcast and a princess. Name changed from Naruto: World Jumper. xxxxx The Wolf's Author's Challenges: Total number of challenges: 5 Challenge 1: This one came to me as I read stories where Mikoto was alive. Instead of Sasuke surviving the Uchiha Massacre, it's Mikoto that Itachi spares. As the last loyal Uchiha in the Leaf, Mikoto is forced to remarry to continue the clan, but she refuses every time she's asked. She then goes and adopts Naruto, much to the council disapproval, and raises him as if he was her son. I call this the challenge 'A Mother's Second Chance'. Not much of a name, but it does suit the story in my opinion. This challenge is pretty much straight forward. Mikoto raises Naruto like a loving mother would and teaches him everything he was never taught due to the hate everyone forces upon him. Since she never believed that the Uchiha were gods, she never developed the arrogance that her clan was known for, making her the perfect person to raise a child who's been neglected and practically tortured. Sadly, Naruto has trust issues and it takes Mikoto a long time to earn his trust, but she does nonetheless. This story has a few requirements. First off, Mikoto is a retired jounin due to becoming a mother twice over, so she's not on active duty. After the Massacre, she trains to get back in shape in order to protect Naruto. Her Sharingan is active and fully mature, but she hardly ever uses it. She can have the Mangekyō Sharingan(though I don't recommend it), but there must be a reason as to why she has it. Another thing I don't recommend, but you can do it if you want, is for Mikoto to somehow give Naruto the Sharingan. The reason I don't recommend it is because she would think that him having it would make him turn out just like the rest of her clan as well as make him a target for those who would do anything to control him. Also, she never did like keeping Naruto's heritage from him. So sometime after she earns his trust, she tells him about his parents, in which she knew very well, as they were her friends. As for Naruto, he's not as stupid(for lack of a better word) as he is in canon. No, he'll be smarter, more cunning and stronger, but still within semi-believable levels. He'll learn about his parents' jutsu, skills and more, including some of Mikoto's, but most he can't learn until a few conditions are met. The Hiraishin, for starters, is something he must learn on his own because neither Mikoto nor Jiraiya understands the jutsu enough to teach it to him. That and Minato was very secretive and gave the jutsu scroll to Fukasaku to guard until Naruto is ready for it. Also, Mikoto doesn't know the Rasengan, so either Jiraiya or Kakashi must teach it to him. And yes, he'll be trained by both men, though Kakashi doesn't have to be his jounin instructor. He can still be an ANBU captain if you want. If you don't want Kakashi as his sensei, then anyone else will do, except for Guy, Rin or Mikoto. Naruto's chakra elements are wind and water. He can have a third element or ice if you want, but not both. Also, Naruto must learn how to use a weapon. Any weapon will do, but not large weapons, such as a zanbatō or a war hammer. The pairings are simple. In this story, Mikoto must remain single. Her life is for Naruto and no one will change her mind. And no, she cannot be paired with Naruto. Speaking of him… Any girl within three years of his age can be picked, even Karen, Kin and Tayuya. However, no more than three can be chosen and at least one of the rookie kunoichis must be in it. Yakumo would count if she becomes a ninja to fill in the ninth slot that Sasuke would have filled. Also, no OCs, gender bending, age changes or yaoi or yuri of any kind. Even without the CRA, Mikoto may encourage it as a way for Naruto to experience the love he was denied his whole life. The girls paired with Naruto can be a bit stronger than usual(before they get with him) and have slight personality changes, but that's it. Also, none of them will be super horny. Challenge 2: This one is similar to the above challenge, but is slightly different. Again, instead of Sasuke surviving the Uchiha Massacre, it's Mikoto that Itachi spares. But for some reason(which you'll need to give), Mikoto is eight years old again. She still retains her twenty-eight years of knowledge and skill, but her body is much younger. As the last loyal Uchiha in the Leaf, the council tries to force the CRA onto Mikoto, but she refuses and is even protected by Hiashi Hyuuga, due to her being a close friend of his wife. She is then taken in by the Hyuugas, mostly Hiashi and his wife(who is alive by the way) and convinces them to take in Naruto as well, much to the elders' disapproval, to raise as if he was their son. I call this the challenge 'The Trinity'. I have a good reason for calling it this. This challenge is pretty much straight forward. Hiashi and his wife(who I call Hikari in all my stories(You don't have to use that name if you don't want to)) raises Naruto and takes care of Mikoto while she teaches him everything he was never taught due to the hate everyone forces upon him. Since she never believed that the Uchiha were gods, she never developed the arrogance that her clan was known for. Sadly, Naruto has trust issues and it takes them a long time to earn his trust, but they does nonetheless. Interestingly, Mikoto, Hinata and(if you want) Hanabi earn his trust a lot easier than the adults do. This story has a few requirements. First off, Mikoto is a retired jounin, though she now must hide her skills to fit in. Her Sharingan is active and fully mature, but she hardly ever uses it. She can have the Mangekyō Sharingan(though I don't recommend it), but there must be a reason as to why she has it. Also, she never did like keeping Naruto's heritage from him. So sometime after they graduate and become a gennin squad(I mean Naruto, Mikoto and Hinata), she tells him about his parents, in which she knew very well, as they were her friends. And yes, the three of them must be on the same squad. The sensei can be whoever, but not Asuma or Guy. For Naruto, he's not as stupid(for lack of a better word) as he is in canon. No, he'll be smarter, more cunning and stronger, but still within semi-believable levels. He'll learn about his parents' jutsu, skills and more, but most he can't learn until a few conditions are met. The Hiraishin, for starters, is something he must learn on his own because only Minato or Kushina can understand the jutsu enough to teach it to him. That and Minato was very secretive and gave the jutsu scroll to Fukasaku to guard until Naruto is ready for it. Also, only Jiraiya and Kakashi were taught the Rasengan, so one of them must teach it to him. And yes, he'll be trained by both men, though Kakashi doesn't have to be his jounin instructor. He can still be an ANBU captain if you want. Naruto's chakra elements are wind and water. He also has the Rinnegan, so he can use the other three elements and even the ice sub-element as well. But he must learn how first. Also, Naruto must learn how to use a weapon. Any weapon will do, but not large weapons, such as a zanbatō or a war hammer. For Hinata, she's not as shy as she is in canon. No, she'll be smarter, more confident and stronger, but still within semi-believable levels. Her chakra element is water. She can have a second element and can combine them into a sub-element, but she'll need Naruto's help to do so. And like with Naruto, Hinata must learn how to use a weapon. Only blunt weapons will do, like a bō-staff or a pair of tonfas. No large or bladed weapons, but a pair of daggers, tantōs or short swords like wakizashis, kodachis or ninjatōs are allowed. She can even have a bow as a support weapon, though it doesn't count towards the weapon requirements. The main pairing is this. In this story, Mikoto eventually falls in love with Naruto. Hinata also falls in love with him, which leads to a rivalry between the two kunoichis. They eventually reach a compromise and decide to share Naruto instead of fight for him. Also, no yuri of any kind, especially between Mikoto and Hinata. They can have slight personality changes, but neither can be super horny where they want to jump Naruto whenever they're alone with him. Challenge 3: Okay, this one is based on a few stories I've read where Naruto and Hinata switch roles. What I mean is that instead of Hinata being shy and reserved and Naruto being loud and outgoing, it is the other way around. However, I have yet to find a story where their personalities are the same. In other words, what if Naruto and Hinata's personalities mirrored each other? This is my challenge. Okay, the rules are simple. First; Naruto and Hinata must know each other before they enter the academy. Second, between the time they enter the academy to before they turn nine(A year must have passed at this point), an event must take place to where Hinata adopts Naruto's outgoing personality or where Naruto loses his confidence and is shy around everyone, with Hinata being only minor. And no, you can't do both, as it will defeat the purpose of the challenge. Third, they both can be on the same squad. They don't have to be, but that option is preferred. Finally, they are the main pairing and must fall in love sometime up to a year before or after becoming gennin. And please, keep it realistic. I doubt two shy kids will start making out all of a sudden. Any other pairings are up to you, but Naruto and Hinata are a requirement. Harems can be done, but for them, they must remain small, like another person or two at the most. Challenge 4: Okay, we all know that the Kyuubi no Youko is sealed within Naruto. However, what about the Kyuubi no Kitsune? This is not a bijuu, but a real kitsune with nine tails. Why do I bring this up, you ask? Well, because it has to do with the challenge. Long ago, before Naruto was born, a young Hikari Hyuuga(Hinata's mom) found and nursed a young kitsune back to health. This kitsune thanked her by revealing itself to be the Kyuubi no Kitsune, one of Inari's messengers. She(Yes, the kitsune has to be female) then sealed herself into Hikari and awaited for the day the girl grows up and has a daughter. Many years later, Hinata is born and is blessed by the nine-tailed vixen. But when Hinata's life is in danger(This must occur after Hanabi is born and Hikari must live past that point), the vixen saves her friend's daughter's life by jumping into her body, turning Hinata into a one-tailed kitsune. Years later, the vixen within Hinata orders her to find Naruto and mark him as hers. This not only gives the girl eight more tails, replacing the kitsune within her, but allows Naruto to control the Kyuubi no Youko and become a kitsune as well. Now, here are the rules. First; Hinata is OOC after becoming a vixen. She'll follow a kitsune's natural habits for the most part, but will usually retain her original personality. She can't be in heat until she's at least thirteen and she'll only go for Naruto. Second; Hinata must befriend Naruto sometime after becoming a vixen, but before she turns nine or ten(depending on when you want them to graduate). This means they have known each other for three years before she decides to mark him. Third; Hinata's Kyuubi is lightning-based while Naruto's Kyuubi is fire-based. Of course, they still have their chakra elements, but this'll allow Hinata to create the storm element and for Naruto to power up his fire with his wind to become more powerful. And yes, their skills must remain the same, but can have a few things added to it, like seal mastery, medical knowledge, some genjutsu from Kurenai, ect. It's your choice, but neither can be super powerful until after the main timeskip. Fourth; a harem is optional, and recommended, for them, but no one older than them. And if you want, Hinata can be bi and go after women as well as Naruto. But no matter what, Hinata will not go after any other guys. Naruto is the only one for her. Also, having or turning some of the other characters into supernatural creatures is preferred, but not required(Such as Ino as a nymph, Tayuya as a succubus or Female Haku as a yuki-onna(snow woman)). Challenge 5: Okay, this challenge is more straight-forward than my others. Now, I've read several stories, and have written a few myself, where Naruto has a twin. In this case, what if said twin carried the other half of the Nine-Tailed Fox's power instead of being sealed away elsewhere? This is my challenge. Unlike other stories based on this idea, the Fourth Hokage must survive. Reason? He doesn't use the Reaper Death Seal and instead uses the same seal he used on Naruto for his twin. Said twin's gender doesn't matter, but his/her appearance and personality does. because Naruto has his father's looks and his mother's personality, his twin must have his/her father's personality and his/her mother's looks. In the case of a female, she must bear a striking resemblence to Naruko, Naruto's Sexy Jutsu form. In the case of a male, he must look just like Naruto. The only difference is that, regardless of gender, Naruto's twin must have Kushina's red hair and violet eyes. From there, it's up to you. However, there are a few rules. First and foremost is that Naruto's personality must remain canon, though his twin's influence can change him a bit... though not too much. Remember that Naruto is not an idiot, he's just ignorant. So yes, he'll need actual learning and training to gain better clarity. Second, the twins MUST NOT be separated. Keeping them together is a must. Third, the pairing must be based on Naruto's relationships in canon. If female, his twin may be a lesbian... I'll allow that to an extent. However, no Naruto/Sasuke, even if the latter is female. Also, no harem. Thw twins need someone close to their age... meaning plus or minus three years at best. This also means that no aging Hanabi or the Konohamaru Corps or deaging any of the other characters like Anko, Tsunade or Mei. Finally, no super powers. You can't make the twins super-powered. You can give them a single power or two each, but they must balance each other out. If they were god-like, the story wouldn't be as interesting. Yes, I know this is a lot... to some, but still. A great story must have balance as well as something to keep the readers coming back for more. xxxxx And those are my challenges. I'm going to attempt to write stories following the above guidelines. I'm looking forward to finding authors who accepted one of my challenges and reading their stories. Please notify me if you have accepted a challenge. I'll post a link below to those who have accepted so others can check them out. Remember, you're the one writing the story. Try to make it both your own and a good one. A Mother's Second Chance: None at the moment The Trinity: None at the moment Naruto and Hinata: Matching Roles: None at the moment Hinata: Kyuubi no Kitsune: None at the moment The Uzumaki Twins: None at the moment xxxxx News from the Wolf: 8/26/2012: Finally, after five years of writing different stories... I finally finish one! Of course, while being four chapters long, 'Naruto and Zelda: Worlds Collide' is finished. Its sequel, 'Naruto and Zelda: Worlds Collide', won't be posted anytime soon, but will hopefully be posted before Winter starts. 7/18/2012: Five years... I've been a member of this site for five years. And to celebrate, I've posted a new story, 'Naruto and Zelda: Worlds Collide'. Here's to five more years! 7/8/2012: Sorry for the late update, peoples. My main stories are on a temporary freeze until I can sort things out. You see, about six months ago, the motherboard on my little brother's computer died on us. So we had to salvage and move all non-replacable data to my little brother's computer(different brother, people). However, several weeks ago, his hard drive had a problem and needs to be restored. According to him, he'll do that early next year, which is in several months. Now I'm not known for my patience, so waiting that long for my work is maddening. However, I do have a backup... they're just somewhat out of date. So until I can sort everything out, which I'll be doing over the next week, I won't be updating just yet. That also includes posting a notice chapter. I only did that once or twice, but I won't do that here. 12/25/2011: Merry Chistmas everyone! This year, I have a special present for everyone. I have posted a side story, 'The Kitsune and the Neko: The Secret Files'. 12/4/2011: Sorry for the really late update, everyone. My internet was turned off late April for a few weeks and I've been hitting some major writer's blocks lately... not to mention being distracted by family issues, playing online games and lack of modivation. If that wasn't enough, my laptop died on me. With a completely dead battery and a screwed-up adapter, I had to wait a while to extract the hard drive. Even after all of that, I've managed to finish up some of my work before I posted any new chapters. I've even posted another challenge for you all to try. Also, I've decided to take down Konoha no Kin Naruto. Sorry Sean Malloy-1, but I've found too many problems to continue it as it is. I'll keep it up for a few more weeks before taking it down. Check the Current Stories section for more details. 4/3/2011: Finally, Naruto: Pokémon Adventure has been posted. Sorry about the delay with my other stories, but I hit some technical difficulties that prevented that. My thanks to Chewie Cookies for pointing out how to fix that problem. 3/13/2011: Good news and bad news, people! Bad news, I won't be posting this week. I want to work on my stories a little more as well as give me time to finish chapter eight of Naruto: the Ninja Saiyan. Good news, despite the snag, I've decided not to take down Konoha no Kin Naruto. Sean Malloy-1 managed to convince me not to end it. I will keep the story up, but I need to completely update every chapter. I'll do so as soon as I can. 2/27/2011: Sorry for the long delay, but I lost my internet at the beginning of July. I got it back for most of September, but it was very crappy. I couldn't even upload my stories! Now that I'm finally back, I've gone and updated all but one of my stories completely. I'll explain which story that wasn't updated later. I've also added more planned stories and challenges to my profile. Now, the results are in for my poll. And here they are: The Kitsune and the Neko: 28 And there you have it. Out of the sixty-five people who've voted, they believe that I should focus on Konoha no Kin Naruto more and Naruto: the Ninja Saiyan less. Well, that's what I'll do... originally. Unfortunately, I've hit a snag with Konoha no Kin Naruto and I've decided to take it down, permanently or for revision I'm not sure. I'm sorry to those who read the story, but I just can't keep it going. Story Alert: In April, I wil be posting up another story: Naruto: Pokémon Adventure. Check my Planned Stories section for more details. Also, I'll be adding a special omake to my stories soon. I'll have more information for you at a later time. 4/18/2010: I'm back! No, I haven't gotten a new adapter or battery for my laptop yet, But I have updated all my stories. Sorry to keep you all waiting for so long, but it couldn't be helped. Also, I've changed the title of my story 'Naruto: the Last Saiyan'. It is now called 'Naruto: the Ninja Saiyan'. It sounds better than the old name in my opinion, don't you think? I've even put up a poll to help me decide which of my stories I should focus on. I'll be working on all three, but I want my readers' opinion on which I should focus on more over the others. I'll keep it going until I finish arc three of 'Konoha no Kin Naruto'. 3/7/2010: I've got some bad news, people. Fist, my laptop's adapter is acting up and with the battery practically dead, I won't be able to update for awhile. I'll be able to work on my stories and update again one I get a new adapter and battery. Also, I removed one of my challenges. It was just too long for me to have up there. I'll put it back up there once I edit it again as well as post the story, which won't be for some time. I really hope that someone accepts one of my challenges. I really do. 1/10/2010: Hello everyone in 2010! Sorry I missed last week's update, but my internet was down and I had very little access to my computer to even think about updating that day. Anyway, besides for the standard updates, I've got some news to inform you about. First, I'll only update on Sundays from now on. Make sure you check here for any news that I might have, such as new stories, delays, notices and more. Also, my story updates will be slowed down for a bit due to minor writer's blocks that I need to deal with. As for 'Konoha no Kin Naruto', I'll keep updating until I hit arc four. Due to a review I received, I'll be severely editing that arc to add in a few extra chapters within what I have already. Doing so will take some time, but since it will be about three months before the story progresses to that point, you have nothing to worry about. As such, I'll be focusing on 'Konoha no Kin Naruto' for an entire month as soon as I post the next chapter of 'The Kitsune and the Neko' and 'Naruto: the Last Saiyan'. This will give me time to have that section ready so I can place my focus on those two stories until the fourth arc of 'Konoha no Kin Naruto' needs to be posted. I'm currently working on the next chapters of those two stories, but I don't know when they'll be finished. Hopefully, they'll be ready by next week. One more thing. As soon as I figure out how, I'll have a forum up so I can respond to any questions, comments and suggestions that you, the readers, have for me. I'll let you know when the forum is up. 12/13/2009: I know I said that my last news update was the last one for 2009, but this one is. Anyway, I've got two pieces of news to inform you of. First, I've updated my author's challenge. Basically, I made it shorter and much easier for it to be done. I'm still waiting on someone to accept it. Second, 'The Kitsune and the Neko' and 'Naruto: the Last Saiyan' will not be updated this week. Instead, I'll update them one at a time every other week. 'Konoha no Kin Naruto' will join them after I reach arc four, at the earliest, and I'll update only one story every Sunday. This is mainly to take the load off of me so I can get the chapters ready in time. I may be posting another story sometime in the near future, so if I do, expect updates for each story to be once a month. I know it's a long stretch, but writing fresh chapters takes time. And sometimes, time is something I don't have a lot of. Anyway, I'll keep to this schedule as best as I can. Merry Christmas, Hanukah and Kwanzaa everyone! 12/6/2009: Looks like I've gone into overtime. Hurray for me! Well, since I haven't lost my internet yet, and no it wasn't a scare, I'll keep on posting until I do. This week, I have good news and bad news. The good news is that I'm posting a new story. This story is one of Challenger's challenges. Speaking of challenges, no one has accepted yet... or if they had, they haven't notified me. As such, I'm taking the challenge myself, since I said I would. Sadly, I haven't fully ironed it out for me to post yet. The bad news is that updates on it and 'The Kitsune and the Neko' will be every other week. The reason is because I've posted almost all of the written chapters, therefore I can't keep updating every week. For 'Konoha no Kin Naruto', I'll drop it to every other week sometime around arc four, maybe arc five. I don't know yet. Also, I've updated my author's challenge again. I keep on finding typos, spelling and grammar errors and stuff everytime I look it over. Now, for those who may think my workload is stretched, you're somewhat right. I'm focusing on writing and editing over half a dozen stories and only three of them are active. I have many ideas in my head and I haven't put them all down in writing yet. I still have a few more I'm willing to post, but not until sometime next year. For now, I'm just going to do what I can, and that is my best. This will be my last news update for 2009. See you in 2010! 11/30/2009: Ten weeks, twenty-one chapters, ninety something reviews and one issued author's challenge. Sadly, this may be the last time I update my stories for a while. If I don't update next week, it means that I have lost my internet. However, I am not abandoning my stories. I will keep writing and continuing my stories during this downtime. Remember to check my profile every Sunday for any news from me. All my stories shall be updated every Sunday that I have an internet connection. If there is a problem, I'll let you know as quickly as possible. Speaking of which, I'm sorry that the update this week was late. I had encountered several delays. On a brighter note, I've updated my author's challenge as well as given both stories an update; The Kitsune and the Neko's arc one chapter seven and Konoha no Kin Naruto's arc one chapter four to more precise. Also, be on the lookout for another story by me. I've decided to accept the challenges of two other authors and am currently working on said stories alongside my active stories and other stories I'm working on. This puts me at eight stories I am working on. You'll see them sooner or later, though most likely later. I'll keep you all posted. 11/15/2009: More bad news... again? No. This time, I have good news. I recently learned that I'll have my internet until the end of the month so I can get in three more updates before I lose it. Now, there's a small chance I might not lose it... a very small chance, so I'll keep going for as long as I can. Thanks to all the great reviews I've gotten from the first arc of my two stories, I'll keep going until my internet is gone, then I'll resume again once I get it back. To all my readers, thank you for your support. 11/8/2009: More bad news? Something must be wrong here. Well, I'm about to lose my internet again so I'm going to put both stories on hiatus until I get my internet back. I'm unsure when this will be so I won't be updating my stories until further notice. Hopefully, I hear good news where I don't lose my internet. Sadly, a gut feeling tells me otherwise. Anyway, because of this, I'm going to update 'The Kitsune and the Neko' and 'Konoha no Kin Naruto' all the way to the end of their first arcs. Also, I've updated the pairing for both stories up to this point in the stories and have added an author's challenge. While I am unable to update my stories, I'll be busy working on 'The Kitsune and the Neko'. I'll try to have the second arc ready by the end of the year, even though I won't be able to update the stories to that point in time. I'm very sorry for those who are reading my stories, but life tends to throw people curve balls sometimes. 10/18/2009: Well, good news bad news time. Bad news: there is no good news. Seriously. Three weeks ago, I've decided to take down the original 'The Kitsune and the Neko' after I posted four chapters of the remake. Well, it's been three weeks and four chapters have been posted, so I'm taking it down. This way, I don't accidentally post a chapter onto the old story and not the new one. That and I can remove 'Remake' from its name. Anyway, a few readers pointed out a few things to me and, after looking it over, I've went back, edited my chapters and reposted them. Nothing's really different about them. All I did was remove the underline on all the jutsu and moved all translations to the end of the story. I still got three weeks before I show the pairings for 'The Kitsune and the Neko'. At that time, I'll update the pairings for 'Konoha no Kin Naruto', showing who's currently in Naruto's harem, since showing the entire harem is a big spoiler. 9/27/2009: Guess who's back! Sorry for disappearing for six months. I lost my internet back in March. I've spent the time rewriting 'The Kitsune and the Neko' as well as writing several other stories, though I'm only posting one of them right now. None of the others are ready to be posted as I'm still working the details out, though I'm going to focus on the two that are. I've got the first arc of both stories written and will be posting a chapter of it each week. Afterwards, I'll switch to biweekly updates at best. I'm looking for someone to beta my stories, mainly one for each. Don't want to give someone a heavy workload. Anyway, if you're interested, let me know. |
