Author has written 6 stories for Justice League. For any interested, here's a bit on my television history, some insight into what I've seen that has inspired my writing, and a few notes on what I have and am currently writing. Most of the TV I've ever watched has been cartoons. It started with an hour of Looney Tunes each weeknight on TNT. In the early/mid-90s, I found Cartoon Network shortly after it was born and for the longest time, watched nothing but The Big CN. For a while, I watched ZDTV as well, switching back and forth between it and Cartoon Network as it evolved first to TechTV and then to G4TechTV (but then giving it up entirely when it lost many of the TV personalities that made it enjoyable during the transformation to G4TV). As much as I loved Call for Help, The Screen Savers, Robot Wars, and Unscrewed with Martin Sargent, I really grew up with The Centurions, Top Cat, Johnny Quest, Wacky Races, Valley of the Dinosaurs, Space Ghost, Birdman and the Galaxy Trio, SWAT Kats, Herculoids, Godzilla (the 1978-1979 series with Godzuki), Mighty Mightor, and ReBoot, just to name a few. Thinking of some of the old shows (and even some newer ones), if the voice acting team of George Lowe, C. Martin Croker, and Andy Merrill ranks among your all-time favorites, you have my full respect. So far as I cared, the launch of Toonami only made things better by eventually airing such shows as Robotech (which I now use only to refer to the Harmony Gold amalgam), all the Tenchi stuff (excepting all but that one episode of Tenchi in Tokyo), and everything Gundam that they bought rights to (disagree all you want, but UC before AU, and G Gundam before Gundam W). Adult Swim only sweetened the pot with more of the same and comedy shows like Sealab 2021, Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law, The Brak Show, reviving Space Ghost: Coast to Coast, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force. I cannot deny the role anime has had on my imagination. Even so, I still owe a lot to the American action cartoons, many of which I listed above. I also owe a lot to DC Comics, whose characters I saw in SuperFriends, the old and new Superman cartoons, Batman's various cartoons and animated movies, Batman Beyond, Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, and (outside of television) the DCAU original movies. I also saw a lot of the 1967 Fantastic Four cartoon. Hanna-Barbera produced it, so it eventually made its way to Cartoon Network. Other than that, I've never seen or cared to see any other Marvel cartoons—as ludicrous speed, go! as that may seem. That brings me to what I'm doing on FanFiction.net now. I'm on a Justice League bend these days...and that's probably a gross understatement. I've written a few fanfics and started a few more over the years, but eventually stopped, deciding to write my own stories instead. While that effort is...ongoing, I decided to get back into reading fanfics after another run through Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. Eventually, wanting to read grew into wanting to write again and...well, here we stand. Thinking more on my current DC obsession, despite all the animated films and TV series I've seen, I've never been able to get into the comics. It's all the more daunting of a task these days. What depressingly little I've gleaned with the internet's help are summaries and what to me are certainly spoilers that I've read on various wikias, picked up in reading fanfics, and seen from the odd scanned comic page on various websites. So, what I write will most certainly be set within the DCAU, which overall has helped cement a few preferences in my head, regardless that I don't have real comics knowledge to back them up (or shoot them down). — First and foremost: Batman and Wonder Woman, Bruce and Diana, are the best things to happen to each other since they each first drew air into their lungs. They just might need a little push to see that.
