Tensions had been flaring in the Pacific. Japan along with multiple partners were conducting a massive military drill as a show of force. As relations between the nations were reaching an all time low, everyone was bracing themselves for the unthinkable to happen. Once it did, it came in the form that no one was ever expecting.

Admiral Daimlon - A young man having just graduated from the Academy, is to become the proud owner of a freshly constructed base out in the Pacific. Unknown to him, however, his starter will be a rather unique individual. The war in the Pacific is heating up, and Daimlon will be thrown into the thick of the action. Will he be ready? Or will he fall victim to the Abyssal onslaught?

Rear Admiral Richard Drake, an American with a serious case of PTSD, finds himself in joint command of a Japanese naval base participating in the Kancolle Program. Seeking revenge for his previous encounter with the enemy, Drake, along with his new fleet, sets out to destroy the Abyssals. However, they soon find that to challenge the abyss, one must be prepared to pay in blood.

It was more than a simple war, It was a fight for survival. When the officers and men of the United States Navy were called to face a foe that appeared insurmountable, they did so without fear.
