Where I've Been:

Hey, all. I know it's been a long time since I've updated this account and posted new fic for you to read. If anyone still checks back here from time to time, then I'd like to apologise for my long absence and my silence. I've received some PMs from people expressing their disappointment in me and asking if I've abandoned my fanfiction, so I wanted to address the subject here for everyone who reads this to see.

I never intended to stop writing Pokemon fanfiction, but over these last few years I have been focusing on my health, getting my career off the ground, and even working on original writing that I hope to publish in the future. I've stumbled into some roadblocks along the way (which I won't get into for the sake of time) that have caused me to be less active in Pokemon fandom in general, and I came to a point where I had to accept that it was no longer as big of a priority in my life.

I'm not writing this post to say that I will never publish fic to this account again. Anything is possible! However, as I've said in the past, I can't make any promises that I will, either. My fanfiction will always remain available to the public, so you'll never have to worry about that.

Thank you all so much for your continued support over the years. It means the world to me and I'm so grateful for the experiences and friends fandom has brought into my life.

In Memoriam:

In October of 2013, my friend Golfer2012 passed away. He was like a brother to all of us at Advancers and we loved him so much--we still do, and we miss him like crazy. He was so funny and kind, we teased each other all the time, but he was a kind and loving person through it all. I don't like to live my life with regrets, but if there is one thing I will regret for the rest of my life, it's that I didn't get the chance to express to him how much his friendship meant to me before he died. It's still such a hard thing to accept, but with unexpected death comes important lessons. Tell the people that you care about that you love them every single day. Don't ever take their presence for granted.

Golfer loved Advanceshipping and he loved to write fanfiction. Despite some struggles he faced, he worked so hard to improve as a writer. I beta-read some of the stories he would post on the forum and he took constructive criticism like a champ. I hope you take the time to head on over to his profile and give his fics some love and attention. They unfortunately cannot be updated, but I know it would've meant the world to him to have people read his work.
