Quirks of the Author

Martial Arts Addict - This author's stories, will most likely have a strong association with the martial arts in the stories this author will write, the main character will always be a bad-ass martial artist. Hopefully the author, can make him or her a multi-faceted character, and the Martial training will be more of a spicy aspect of a character.

Strong Christian Affectations - The author is a devout Christian, and many of the stories will have Christian undertones. The author will do, the author's best not to preach through, the author's writing, the author will merely create characters that live as an example of true Christian believers. Perseverance, Integrity, and Forgiveness

Not A Religion or Culture Snob - The previous quirks explains the author's, personal beliefs, that being said, the author DOES NOT look down upon other religious beliefs, OR cultures, we all have religious convictions and cultural origins that make us who we are. In stories where this author portrays other religions, the author, will do the author's best to portray these other religions, their believers, and cultures, with honor and dignity. If the author falls short, it is not meant as a slight of the religion and/ or believers therein, but merely as a sign of this author's ignorance regarding other faiths and cultures.

Pet Peeves:

Putting Steel-toed footwear on Naruto characters - this wardrobe choice is obviously added by writers who have never had to walk long-distances in steel-toed footwear, if they have they would know just how uncomfortable these shoes are to walk in. I would have no objection to putting such footwear on say a Star Wars character or a character living in an industrial or mechanized society, because then the true purpose of steel-toed shoes would come in to play. Steel-toed shoes serve to prevent large weights from damaging your feet in an industrial setting, but in the event that the metal in the toe is not strong enough to resist the weight being dropped upon it, then the sharp metallic blade of the toe acts like a knife, and cleanly severs the toes from the foot. Why, you may ask, so that they can be surgically reattached once medical attention is acquired? Which gets me back to my original point, a device designed to cut your toes off in an industrial accident, is not suited for trekking long distances by foot, because they tend to pinch the toes when taking long strides. The reason I say its a pet peeve in writing Naruto stories is because, Naruto characters, when they're in a hurry jump through trees. and if taking a long stride is annoying and uncomfortable, imagine jumping through trees, or jumping in general. *Hint: most people land on their toes after a jump.*

Lightsabers in non-space age stories about Force users - I've mainly seen this in Naruto fanfix, Naruto's world, technology wise, is nearly all analog. In terms of the technology, I'd say Naruto's world is industrial, but not computerized. Therefore, lightsabers are beyond the capabilities of Naruto's world to produce, the closest artifact in Naruto's world that might resemble lightsaber-esque qualities is the Raijin no ken. Remember a Jedi or Sith's strength flows from the Force, not from a lightsaber. In my humble opinion, a good Force-user story, does not have to have, a lightsaber.

I challenge any author to write a Force-user story, Star Wars or crossover story, and minimize lightsaber personification. I'll do mine once I'm finished with my other stories, but I will produce one.

Unrealistic proportions of character anatomy, particularly when writing Lemons or Limes. Really, a 15" long penis, especially on a male adolescent, there isn't enough blood in the human body to allow for such proportions? Every time he would get sexually aroused, he would probably pass out, and many women would be reluctant to even tryout such a distended organ. This same pet peeve, also extends to the cup size of many female characters, I mean honestly... anything over a D-cup is either artificial, or a freak of nature.

Busybodies who think they have the right to force their opinions on other writers. I have no problem following the Guidelines of fanfiction.net, but only the official administrators of this website have the authority to command a story's removal from it. Official administrators, and ONLY official administrators, for fanfiction.net, should be the only ones to tell a writer whether their works will be acceptable on this website or not. Anybody else who seeks to usurp FFN's authority should be promptly ignored and reported to site administrators.
