When am I?

Find out where you are in relation to the plot.

Reward: 1 gacha token

A token? Neat. But I'm getting distracted.

So, My Hero Academia, never heard of it because this amnesia is really, really, good at making me not remember things I really need.

But I now know the basic plot! So the world is filled with super-powered humans, and the main story happens at a school named U.A. And the main character is a person named Deku, who wants to be a hero.

And aside from that, I have not the slightest clue what happens.

So, you know, that may be a problem. But fortunately, I'm a villain, so if I just kill everyone, everything should be fine, right? I'm sure it will be…

And now the people I've been looking at are looking at me weirdly, shoot. So, what does a villain do if they're stuck in a situation where they're caught doing something they really shouldn't be doing?

Run away for now, I don't really want to be questioned. I'll just run back into the forest and dig into the city somewhere…

Alright, I've ended up in the sewers, not the best place I wanted to be, but it works as a nice place to figure out some things… Well, all I need to figure out is how killing people works.

It'd be a shame if I tried to kill somebody quickly and all they felt was a bump on the neck.

So! Looking for some homeless people hanging out in the sewers for me to murder! Is it likely I'll find anyone here? Probably not, but I can hope, right?

And as I thought that, I hear vague human sounding noises inside the sewers. Were they always there? Who knows, I saw the patch notes saying something about NPC characters, so maybe they're that?

Sprinting in that general direction, I see my unfortunate victims. 3 guys wearing hoodies.

Level 14?! Wait, why do they not have names?

Unfortunately, I made a lot of noise getting here, and all the… Villains, I guess, noticed me and started talking.

"Well, well well! Look at what we have here! Some big ant stumbled into our corner! You don't stand a chance, buddy. I suggest you turn around."

...Do they really talk like that? I thought they got updated to be more natural… Well, if my Grasscutter is telling the truth, I get like… 350 plus… 100… 450 damage every hit, and since it's a naginata, I can slash somewhat decently with it… They don't really stand a chance. Maybe I should tell them that…

"I came here in search of worthy opponents. Instead, I found pond scum. Utterly revolting."

Wait, what. I mean, the sound of my voice sounds cool but... I talk like a clown! I don't want to talk like that! I'll never feel comfortable talking ever again!

The villains are all obviously upset at this and attacked me without warning. It's just a shame that because of weapon mastery, I can attack back really easily, and mixed with my dexterity, their attacks are disappointingly slow, especially considering I'm at least 8 feet away from them.

I dodged the disappointingly slow bullets from #1, and backed off from #2's attack, and I took out Grasscutter out of my inventory and put a small cut on #3's tongue which was approaching me.

50 damage dealt

Nameless villain #3 [750/800]

He made a gasp noise in pain and fell back a few steps, and the other two tried attacking again, where I just dodged again and made a slice towards #2's neck.

550 damage dealt

Target is bleeding [10 Hp every second]

Nameless villain #2 [450/100]

Number #1 starts to run, but I'm actually feeling pretty good right now, so I used my charge ability and stabbed him in the back with the force of the charge and Grasscutter.

700 damage dealt

[100/800]

Why did that do more damage than literally cutting his neck? This game is great, but it's awful sometimes...

Number #3 tried to talk me out of this massacre, "Wait! Wait! We're sorry! We'll never talk to you again!"

Is he really trying to tell a villain to stop murdering people?

"You have lost the right to live the moment you stood against me. No, you have never had the right to live since the moment of your creation. Bow down your heads and I may make it quick."

...I was just trying to say no…

Well, regardless, I am kind of right, they're just random people created by someone who I don't even know for the sole purpose of me killing them.

Their screams were oddly satisfying to hear, but that's probably just my gamer's mind talking…

You have gained 1,400 experience

You have leveled up 1 time [3 to 4] [415/1331]

You have gained 10 stat points.

That's… a lot of experience for just 3 easy dudes. Maybe the experience gained is a lot bigger up here to make people want to stay here instead of being inside a dungeon all day?

Well, I'll take it! If these were just the easy level mobs, I can't wait to fight the higher level guys with actual names… Oh, right, the stats… put it into dexterity, I guess. If I don't get hit, that's all of my problems gone.

Dex: 10 to 20 [40/160]

Well, I don't know what to do now. I didn't expect to get this far… It's still day I'm pretty sure, so… Maybe I should go find out what city this is and where's U.A? Because I'm thinking my enemy is going to U.A to try and find me too, and that's fine, I'll just… I dunno, but if I kill her really fast, I'm sure it'll be fine.

Now, making a new hole in the sewer systems is a perfectly fine way of getting out, right? Because that's what I do, and end up on a street… with people on it.

Unnamed civilian.

Level 5

Well, if observe says so, they're nobody important. So I calmly ignore their screams and steal a phone someone is conveniently holding.

Only to find it locked. Who the hell holds a locked phone!?

Crushing it, I just grab another phone that's in somebody's hand and is unlocked, and fortunately, there's an EXTREMELY convenient messaging app open who texted the owner of the phone that the U.A entrance exam is in 5 days.

My 20 luck must be working hard.

Well, I ended up crushing that too, and I went back into my sewers to get to somewhere else. But I am, if nothing, polite, so I gave my thanks.

"Be grateful that I have not decided to end your pathetic lives here, scum."

...You know, the usual things you say on a day to day basis.

Well, either way, back into the sewers, start sprinting somewhere, dig another hole, rinse and repeat until I find someone using some kind of map app.

...Wait, how did I know Japanese? Eh, whatever, I'm sure those developers have it all handled…

Akiya

Some ant guy going across Musutafu and stealing phones and crushing them after looking at it? Huh, sounds funny… Well, if she sees him while being a vigilante farming some experience, I'll take him down.

...Now that I think of it, the villains I've been taking down are almost never on the news because I rarely find someone with an actual name that I can read using observe, so they're all probably randomly generated…

So, is this guy a boss? Or am I just being paranoid and the heroes are going to take him down soon… Ah well, she has a lot of time to spend in the day, she can just practice her sword fighting for now.

...Stupid modifiers.

Zavvox

Ah! Finally, Musutafu! I don't know why it's called that when we're in Japan, and that doesn't sound very… Japanese, but you know what? It doesn't matter! So, where's U.A?

...Maybe I should just ask, huh?

"You, pathetic fly, where is the location of U.A?"

The guy I questioned obviously looked confused for a moment before answering,

"Uh, here? In Musutafu?"

...Oh, well, that's really convenient… My home is right next to a den of heroes.

Maybe that's inconvenient.

"Worship me thankfully for sparing your pathetic life."

Just a good way of saying thanks!

...I can't take myself seriously anymore…

"You! Antman! Stop now!"

...Huh?

Oh… A hero.

Quest obtained

Bathe in the blood of heroes.

Kill the very first hero who stands in your way. He will be the first of many to fall to your might.

Reward: 1 gacha token. Infamy system.

Yes, this battle shall be glorious… Dah, wait, gamer's mind… wait, no no, keep doing that, it'll probably be better.

"You dare attempt to command me, Zavvox, one of the old gods who used to rule the planet? The price of your arrogance shall be death!"

Once again pulling out Grasscutter from my inventory dramatically, because I guess that's what my modifier wants, I use the tried and true method of using charge and trying to stab him with Grasscutter.

Unfortunately, he somehow saw this coming and used his quirk to make a wall blocking my attack.

700 damage dealt

Rock wall [300/1000]

"You believe this will help you!? You are delaying the inevitable!"

Using my fly ability to get over the wall, I used a charge again to close the distance and hit him with Grasscutter, which he backed off far enough to only be hit in the leg, which bounced off of him…

550 damage dealt

Rockruff [2,650/3,200]

Fortunately, that still counts as damage, and he got a bit more tired than before.

"So, your quirk is both some kind of summoning and stamina draining quirk? I can still beat you!"

...Well, yes but actually no? I guess that's how combat works I guess… Wait a minute, it didn't work like this on those villains from earlier! They were actually stabbed!

Unfortunately, while thinking this, I get hit with some rocks from behind.

300 damage taken

Zavvox [700/1000]

Ah, shit.

"You cannot kill me!"

I used a charge for the third time, and I guess he wasn't feeling good at that moment, because I managed to hit him in the chest, where, once again, my blade bounced off.

750 damage dealt

Rockruff [1,900/3,200]

Maybe it deals more damage depending on where I land my hits.

Rockruff tried to use more rocks against me, but I was prepared for it and dodged them all…

Before they made a U-turn and hit me in the back!

200 damage taken

Zavvox [500/1000]

Wait, shit, it would be an embarrassing defeat if I lose to this guy… Alright, plan B, just ignore defense and keep hitting him!

"My vessel seems to be this weak… A pity, for you will never live to learn what you've died against."

I wasn't even trying to talk there! Regardless, I used charge for the 4th and hopefully last time, getting a good slash on his arm.

Critical hit. Arm cut off.

1000 damage dealt. Bleeding caused. [45 damage per second. Stunned]

Rockruff [900/3,200]

A critical hit! A miracle!

Rockruff, unfortunately, wasn't too happy about this

"AAAAHH! You… Villain!"

Villain? At least refer to me by name…

"I am Zavvox. The old god who once ruled the world. It has been years since I've first slept, and I wake to you fools plaguing the land…"

I wanted to establish my name, but I guess making a huge sign that says "player here" works too.

Rockruff really couldn't do shit anymore, so I raised Grasscutter and swung down.

Rockruff has been killed.

You have gained 3,500 experience.

You have leveled 2 times [4 to 6] [1120/1610]

You have gained 20 stat points.

You have gained skills: Taunt, Spit corruption

You have gained perks: Void resistance

Wow! That's cool and all, but I've gotta get out of here! I'm half health and no doubt the authorities are on their way. While I'm here, put my 20 points into vitality.

Vit: 10 to 30 [60/240] [3,000/24,000]

My health just tripled, and that feels really good, but I'm still missing 500 hp. I'm out.

Digging into the ground and starting to dig towards my prison in the forest, I sighed.

The battles aren't going to be fun…

All Might

"Tsukauchi, now, I know you've been calling me a bit paranoid for almost the entire time All for One's been dead, but…"

Tsukauchi simply had his palm in his hand, "All Might, no, Toshinori, with all due respect, just because someone has two quirks that don't quite match up doesn't mean they're connected with All for One. He's been dead for almost 6 years."

All Might sheepishly smiled, "Ah, well, yes. But this one killed a hero! I can't allow that in the city I'm about to work in! And if he just so happens to be connected with All for One…"

Tsukauchi sighed, "Sure, go ahead and take him in, but I'll just say I told you so when he has no connection to a dead man at all. After all, you've found almost nothing in the 6 years you've been running this All for One search."

All Might sighed, "I know. That's why I'm being paranoid. He's been dead for 6 years, but nothing appeared about him after he died? That's not normal at all…"

Tsukauchi got up from his seat, "Yes, I know, you've told it all to me before."

Zavvox

Now in the safety of my forest, I can check my new abilities.

[Taunt - grabs the attention of all the enemies around you. Costs 50 stamina]

[Spit corruption - Spit out a bit of your corruption, corrupting the area hit. Costs 500 mana.]

[Void resistance - Void related spells are 50% less effective against you.]

You know, taunt seems to have a really low stamina cost… I'm thinking this wasn't tuned to be put on an old god warrior correctly.

Spit corruption is actually really nice, because then I'll finally be able to spread around my corruption and do things with it… I mean, I don't know what I'll do with it, but I'm sure it'll be cool.

Taunt and void resistance is… eh. Unless if the other player is some kind of void user, I don't think I'll ever be using either of these.

...Also, now that I think of it, don't I have two quests that should've been completed?

Quests completed

When am I? And Bathe in the blood of heroes

Rewards: 2 gacha tokens, infamy system.

...Cool. So, I'll check the infamy system… After I'm done gambling.

[Summonstone [Skryb the Gamebreaker (Developer)] - Divine - Summons Skryb the Gamebreaker when broken -(Note: Skryb has been known to completely eradicate worlds he steps on. Summoning is not advised for players at any level. Trust me, he acts like a 13 year old throwing a tantrum every day. - Sentrot (Developer)]

[Walking cane - uncommon - A walking cane used by old men to help them walk]

Ooh! A divine… Item…

Is it really a divine item if it's literally advised by another developer to not use it? Besides, I really don't want to summon a guy named "Gamebreaker" while I'm essentially playing a game…

Well, both of these items are going into my inventory and one is DEFINITELY never going to see the light of day. I can name more uses for the walking stick than the summonstone.

Well, infamy system, please explain yourself.

Infamy

Infamy is used to track how infamous you are. For example, 0 would be you're unknown, 0-100 is your local city or town. 0-300 is your country. 0-700 is your world, 0-1000 is the multiverse. Infamy, both low and high, is sometimes used as a requirement to join some villain groups.

Infamy: 44

Wow! This is completely worthless!

Ugh, my day went from good to bad. Maybe I'll just try to sleep or something, I don't think they would deprive me of sleep, even if they're super evil gods or something…

...Well, I guess I'll head back into prison with my mortal form to sleep there.

Omake

Corobos

You know, I thought I was a pretty lucky person in life. A pyro archon, a super powered weapon, a cool follower, a cool home, and a hero, but if there's one thing he didn't like…

Why are you talking mad shit about me!?

This stupid sentient system. While rolling on the hero gamer modifiers, he ended up getting "sentient villain system." and while that doesn't sound too bad on the surface, the thing it neglected to mention is that it actually actively talks to you…

Wow, you're acting sooo heroic right now… Why don't you just ditch the heroism and beat some clowns up? Sure, you don't get experience from it, but you don't lose any either.

I want a refund.

A refund would make you dead again!

Did I stutter?

You son of a bitch!

"Skryb the Gamebreaker" is a reference to my previous fic where I put a self-insert in and it ruined the entire fic. Of course, he's gone from there now because I removed him before ultimately discontinuing it and doing this rewrite. Thus the name "Gamebreaker"

He's also the reason why I got a really good review in my last fic calling Skryb a shit character which made me feel like shit for an entire day, and, you know, once you get a really valid criticism once, nothing else can really hurt that badly.

But that review did give me the view of "Oh, right, people actually want a good fic." so it worked out in the end.

So now in honor of that review, I just made Skryb a shit character in every universe, which also makes me a shit person since I named him after my own username.

So, you know, regular self-insert stuff.

Also, I went in and cleaned up chapter 2 a little bit. Nothing too major. Just changed the description of a thing, added in a few numbers, and changed the bipedal animals to quadruped animals.

[Bro I just realized after I hit published that I forgot to put a threat level on Rockruff lmao]
