You guys must have done something wrong to get to my little place on the internet. I'm Rum, and I've been on this godforsaken site for about three-ish years now. Within those three years, I've spent my time writing, reviewing, betaing, and reading. I don't get to do a lot of those anymore, mostly writing now.

Although, due to the most recent world-wide crisis, which is in no way a pandemic, I've found myself with a lot of free time, so I spend a lot of that free time writing, gaming, and studying. Now, I know I finished doing my EMS stuff by now, but it's still good to keep up on it, especially since I haven't been able to get into the field. Another thing I've got to thank the pandemic for.

Now, maybe a year ago I'd say that I like to take my sweet fuckin' time, but that ain't the case anymore. I rush like hell, and fix shit after I'm done with my draft. In the span of a week's time, I can crank out around 12k words like it's nobody's business, and I think I'm allowed to be a little proud of that now. Because I remember how it took me several weeks to get half of that count, so yeah, it feels pretty fucking good.

My friend Nico told me once that I should get a schedule, to which I promptly responded, "Why would I ever want to slow my creativity by keeping myself to writing stuff in cycles?" And so, that's why I vehemently refuse the notion of a schedule. Instead, I'll just sit here and leave stories that I'm working on, to varying degrees of success:

When You're Living With Your Best Friend, What Could Go Wrong?: This is my attempt at writing some wholesome fluffy stuff, which, according to certain reviews, was done right. It's a little Lancaster story, so if that's not your schtick, you don't have to read it, but I'd really appreciate it if you did, since I put a lot of heart into trying to get it right.

Street Lights Flicker on Long Walks: This one is a bit of a doozy for me, it's the story that got me so interested in writing extremely consistently. It's the story about how Blake and Jaune find some comfort in the solitude that they get from being around one another, and how they use each other as a means of getting away from their teams when they're either being overbearing, or just annoying. It's overall a very feels good story for me, and if that's your kind of cookie, then by all means partake.

Other than that, I'm a normal dude with a bit of a go getter attitude that can't be curbed. So yeah, get some fat fuckin' bread.
