Logan is a teacher at Xavier's School and has been sent off to collect a new student. This follows Logan leaving to collect her and what happens on the way back and their lives together at the school. The current timeline is based off a mixture of the X-men movies. Grief is a powerful thing. It can come in so many forms throughout one's lifetime, but mostly so at the loss of a loved one. In the aftermath from the events of Dark Phoenix, Charles finally gets a chance to truly grieve for everything he's lost, and naturally Erik, his only friend, is there to pick up the pieces.
