Not thinking much of it, considering how many heroes it murdered, he screams a quick "Flashfire Fist!" at it and covers it in flames.
Only, it seems as if the bug is still left standing. Without even the slightest burn.
"How inconvenient… I really was planning on… Ah, I'm talking out-loud. Perhaps it's… Hm, I should simply stop." the bug said, completely ignoring him.
How dare it ignore him? He should pay attention to his superiors, "Bug! I'll give you one single chance to surrender! Resist and you'll feel more of my flames!"
The bug tilted his head, "My name… Is Zavvox. Did they not tell you this?"
It decided its fate then… "Prominence-"
Suddenly, the bug summons some kind of blue stone in its hand and throws it at him, and then jumping away from him, but he wouldn't be #2 if he couldn't stop unexpected things like that, "Burn!"
Burning the stone, a new problem arose quickly, the area around it suddenly started to decay, forcing him to use the force of the burn to jump back, fortunately, the decay seemed to only be 5 meters in radius.
"I suppose it was a tall order to expect you to die to that." The bug taunted him on the roof of a building.
Tch, it's underestimating him… Quickly using his quirk to jump towards the building, the ant jumps down into an alleyway, forcing him to look down into the alleyways…
Only to find a manhole open.

Endeavor loses chase of a potential A or S rank villain
Endeavor has been the topic of much debate recently for letting the currently unranked Zavvox get away. If you are unaware of Zavvox's feats, he currently has a kill count of 100 civilians and nearly 25 heroes. Many people who had never heard of him before have questioned how someone with this power had gone unnoticed, and we may have some answers.
As you know, it is currently one of the most hero-centric time in social media currently, as hero schools all across Japan were having their entrance exam this week, causing massive anticipation to occur waiting for the results and all the clips that traditionally come with such an event. However, Zavvox seems to have used this time to further his currently unknown agenda by killing many heroes and a hundred civilians, though it should be noted that the 100 civilians are all from this morning, seriously calling into question the safety of the civilians.
So, what is next for Zavvox? Fortunately, U.A, who was responsible for taking most of the attention away from Zavvox, allowing his rampage across multiple cities, had this official statement to say.
"We are incredibly regretful of the attention that was put on us, and thus allowed a villain like Zavvox to threaten the peaceful society that heroes are actively protecting. As such, we are able to have All Might, who had recently been hired at U.A, to take some time off of learning how to become a teacher to arrest this heinous villain." - Nedzu
With this statement in mind, it is incredibly unlikely that Zavvox will be continuing as a villain for much longer, considering All Might's capture rate of almost 99.97 percent.

Is that… Is that him? Peeking from an alleyway? In the exact opposite direction he's in right now, making him wide open for any attack?

Quickly checking behind himself, making sure nobody spotted him, he buffed up into his All Might form, yelling out his signature line, "I am here!"
Zavvox quickly turned around in a panic, only to get hit in the face by his signature Detroit Smash, although without him yelling it out.
He would like to… Ah, he dropped his groceries.
He'll have to get new- Ah, right, Zavvox!
Somehow, he's still conscious from his smash, and was staring straight at him. His eyes seemed to be expressionless, but he can guess that he was panicking.
Suddenly, he pulls out another stone from somewhere, remembering his fight with Endeavor, he couldn't allow that, rushing forwards to get him before he can try and use it, but somehow, he was one step too late.
At the crushing of the stone, he felt immense pressure, forcing myself to step back and open my eyes. He saw what was undoubtedly some kind of dark red dragon samurai, his entire aura telling him that he would die the moment he even thought about fighting him.
Suddenly, the samurai turns towards him, causing him to step back for a slight moment, and towards Zavvox, who seems to be pitifully crawling away.
"Hm? Oh, I see… Well… Zavvox, nice try, but no."
...Huh?
"But it would be a shame to just use the stone only for me to not help you slightly… Well, I suppose you were desperate. Consider yourself in my debt."
...He feels as if he's missed a few steps.
Suddenly, Zavvox disappeared and the samurai turned to fully face him, causing himself to stiff in slight fear.
"Now, forget this."
...Hah? Why am I in my All Might form in the middle of the street? I mean, it's currently empty but… Oh no! My groceries!

Well, it did work, so maybe he's the moron here for letting him get away with it.
Still, maybe I should've just let him die, it would've been funnier after all… Ah, well, the other guys have been complaining about him for days now, I guess he can't kill the other guy without his mortal form yet.

Ah, the dragon ball universe, the perfect place to hang about as a hero, considering all the heroes that are already here are strong as hell.
It's also quite convenient that my opponent chose the hard difficulty, while I chose normal.
Now, there are a ton of natural delicacies here that he still hasn't tried out yet! Hm, what should he eat next? Maybe...

SSFalsehope coming like an angel, giving me the idea of an interlude chapter or something, which gave me the idea of this. Which is also like 1700 words long, making it also one of the shortest chapters I have.
Also, yes, I did just use the summonstone for skryb for essentially a nothing burger. I didn't want to deal with the problems of having a whole worldbreaker inside of Zavvox's inventory acting as a "maybe deus-ex-machina?" so I just used the deus ex machina on all might on this chapter so i don't have to think about it in the future.
SS also gave me the idea of "Hey, if I just get other people to describe what Zavvox is doing, then I can just show up with his new stats on the next chapter and that's basically all the grinding done!" but mostly through the idea of "This story is literally going slower than a dead snail, go faster bro." which is true, I've been thinking of how to make it go faster to no avail until you revealed this super obvious sounding thing to me.
And ta-da, next chapter, we suddenly show up at the USJ arc, completely ignoring what Zavvox would've been doing for like a week or something.
I'll just say that he was dealing with the shellshock of getting his ass beat by All Might.
Also, Lezario, neat idea on the whole AfO giving Zavvox a quirk thing as a test, I have no idea why All for One would try something like that, but if I'm out of ideas, I might take it.
...Wait, I just said I would take maybe a bit of time off to do some field research on what makes a decent gamer fic, and now like a whole 1 or 2 hours later, I'm writing this chapter…
Yikes. In total of things I've learnt, I've learned almost nothing.
And in hindsight, that was almost like 30k worth of words I could've somehow used later in the fic! I've had so many "Somewhat decent ideas" all down the drain because I'm using them as soon as I think of them.
Well, things to think of when making another fic some day in the future. note #54, don't use all your best ideas at once.
