Damn… That kind of sucks. Then again, I was essentially stuck doing nothing this whole week acting as All for One's guinea pig…

Man, dude, was it necessary to try out how quirks worked on me? Like, almost none of them worked.

I mean, sure, he could give me a few quirks… But then he'd immediately take it away, saying that "He wouldn't want to lose it forever."

What does that mean?! I don't eat quirks, do I?

Hah… Well, curiously, there were only 2 balance updates this week, so the developers must be getting the hang of things. Even more miraculously, I got a buff! 5th rate manipulator only considers long term manipulation as manipulation now, and simple things like actions and consequences are now back in my thought processes! I feel as though I could've done that myself before the change, but the more I think of it, the more I think "Wow, I'm stupid."

I celebrated a small party inside my mind and continued on with the week after the change.

Although…

Congratulations on rogues and rangers not doing anything game-breaking this week! We're celebrating hard up here in your memory! A few of us are already passed out! - Gaienyan

And then immediately afterward…

Hera, a ranger, just found out how to exploit a few skills to make herself shoot 5 times the amount it's supposed to be, and she just shot her enemy player from across the country. Fuck. Can you guys stop for like 5 minutes? We were having a good day up here... - Jaeger

Ah, I have no idea how those mad lads do it. If I had a shot, I would dedicate it to them.

The rangers and rogues, I mean.

Well, today is an important day today because…

Kurogiri shows up at the hive clusters I've been staying at, "Zavvox, it's time."

The USJ, after what feels like years, I've finally gotten to something canon…

Picking up 3 drones nearby me to execute my plan later, I walked into Kurogiri's portal.

It would really be a shame if Akiya wasn't there...

Akiya

My classmates were talking excitedly but… Damn, USJ… Are the villains going to be there? Probably yes… I haven't done anything to the league yet.

In other news… I tried some last minute scouting last night to find wherever Zavvox was, but… No luck at all. Maybe he's in the forest somewhere instead of the city?

...Wait, why wasn't that my first thought?! Am I mentally stunted?!

Ugh, okay, when I get out of this, preferably alive, I'm going to have to go straight into that forest and look for anything that looks like something.

That sounds vague, but honestly, his prison has to be pretty strongly guarded to be able to not have been found already.

...Wait, is Zavvox with the league? Shit, then…

Gah, alright, while the crit chance is super low on players now, maybe with my luck, I could get a few crits on Zavvox to make him go away…

If he's not there, try to stick to canon, I guess…

"Akiya!" Suddenly, her pink classmate, Ashido, pushed her awake, startling her.

"Gah!" I yelped, "What was that for?!"

Ashido meekly smiled, "Oh, y'know, you looked like you were in deep thought!"

For good reasons! Ah… Why did I introduce myself as a happy person?! I'm the opposite of a happy person!

"I'm…" Trying to salvage the situation… "Thinking. About. You know. Things."

That wasn't good at all! Talk-no-jutsu help me!

Ashido, however, bought the explanation, "Eh, alright! Have nice dreams!" and suddenly stopped bothering her.

...That worked?

...Could I talk-no-jutsu Shigaraki? You know, hypothetically.

Zavvox

Shigaraki was busy rallying the troops, meanwhile, I was finishing up the details of my plan.

Firstly, these drones are going to turn into hatcheries. Since evolution master got a buff, the drones were able to do this in a single minute. And then the next thing these 3 hatcheries are going to do is make a shit ton of zerglings, since the larva spawns in like 3 seconds, and the zerglings are currently on their swarmling strain right now, letting them come in groups of 3.

And bam, profit. Hopefully, everyone dies. Sure, they may be half as strong as they should've been, but quantity over quality has been a sure-fire way to establish dominance since ancient times.

Suddenly, the room of petty thugs and villains started cheering.

...Oh, are they done? Alright, show time!

Akiya

Oh, yep, that's Kurogiri right there…

As everyone else was starting to get worried, I was busy observing this series' main villains.

Shigaraki

Villain

Huh… Kind of weaker than I thought he would be…

Kurogiri

Nomu

Notable Stats:

Str: 1800

Dex: 1800

End: 1800

Well, that's a lot stronger than anyone else I've met… But All Might's still stronger than that… A lot stronger.

Now where is Zavvox? I don't see him anywhere…

Zavvox

The ruins zone is quite nice and large, my drones are already getting prepared to hatch into hatcheries…

Now, I wait. Preferably, I get a quick minute or two to have out some zerglings and then once Kurogiri brings Akiya here like I asked him to, I'll swarm her with a fuck ton of zerglings and kill her quickly.

Well, that's the dream right there. What's likely going to happen is that her 400 luck strikes again and she somehow has an item convenient for the use of killing zerg…

If that happens, I'm really going to flip…

Akiya

Suddenly, Kurogiri appears in front of the group, blocking the exit.

"Excuse our interruption, but I have something I must ask… Is there one known as Akiya in your group?"

...What? That wasn't what he usually says!

Thirteen, fortunately, kept her calm and started to talk first, "Why do you want to know?! You're trespassing, villain!"

She immediately raises her arm to try and use her quirk, but remembering what happens in canon, I tried to stop that, "Wait! Thirteen don't do that! Kurogiri! I'm Akiya!" I said, hoping to make them both pause for a moment.

Thirteen suddenly stumbles in confusion and everyone does a quick double take before Kurogiri chuckles a bit, making me realize something devastating.

I accidentally told everyone here I knew Kurogiri's name without him introducing himself. Shit.

Kurogiri's figure was as still as ever, but the mirth in his voice was contrasting it heavily, "Ah, I suppose Zavvox was somewhat telling the truth… In that case… Let me introduce myself, yes, I am Kurogiri. My duty is to scatter you all. All Might was supposed to be here, but I suppose there's been a change in plans."

Suddenly, Bakugou and Kirishima jumped at Kurogiri like in the normal timeline, and within a few short moments, Kurogiri activated his quirk and suddenly all of us were scattered around the USJ.

Ah, there's the portal, and out comes…

...She's level fucking what?! How much experience is she getting?! How much experience does she even need to level up?!

Akiya was a fairly normal looking person, if you ignored her long hair being dotted by purple in the occasional strand of hair.

Also, is that her hero outfit? Because I swear it's the exact same as the dark black vigilante outfit I first met her in all that time ago… Well, it doesn't have the mask that was covering her face, but other than that, the exact same.

Akiya started to look up, and I took the advantage to start monologuing.

Really, acting like a stereotypical villain whose existence is basically confined to a stereotype has never gotten better since the outburst thing from wanna-be villain was removed. I could actually say edgy shit and feel cool doing it.

"Welcome to the ruins zone, Akiya. While this place is quite shoddy, I hope it will serve as a wonderful tomb for you." I said, completely serious.

I continued the monologue, "Unfortunately, we have, at best, 15 minutes of time, but as I'm sure you'll figure out, 15 minutes is an extremely long time to be fighting… How long will your 12,000 mana hold for? How much do your spells cost? Can you stop my swarm from devouring you whole?"

Akiya, getting used to her surroundings and listening to me immediately called bullshit, "Your swarm? Last I checked, you got your minions at level 25… And as I can see, you're level 24!"

Yeah, rub it in, level 93… Fortunately, my first pairs of zerglings should be coming up, and right as I think about that, the first 9 swarmlings have arrived.

Akiya has her 'oh shit' moment, and the moment for her gets worse, as the swarmlings, with the help of evolution master, turn into raptorlings, from the same game, but much more dangerous.

"As you can see," I begin again, "Within minutes, you're going to be overwhelmed with so many zerglings, you could feed the entire world for years with how many there are going to be. So make your decision, Player," Filling the word with as much disgust as possible, "Will you bow down and die? Or will you keep standing, leading to your inevitable death?"

Akiya paused for a moment, most likely thinking of her decision. Until she completely avoids my question and asks one of her own, "How did you figure out I was going to blurt out Kurogiri's name?"

Simple answer, "I didn't. I was simply doing elementary addition." That wasn't entirely true either… Sure, I had no idea what Akiya looked like, but if Kurogiri asked, and was about to eliminate a hero… It would only be polite to answer, right?

Well, that being said, I didn't even think if Akiya would even say his name, why would she? Is she incompetent? That wasn't even in the realm of possibilities when I was talking to Kurogiri about it… I thought she would've just answered "I am" or something…

Akiya was confused at this, knowing I have 5th rate manipulator, she didn't expect anything grand in my plans, "But… Hah? Wasn't your modifier… Wait, shit, you're stalling for time?!"

Oh, shame, she figured that part out… Well, there's 72 zerglings around me ready to fight now, "Ah, I was. Now go, my zerg, devour her." pointing at Akiya, the zerglings leaped into action…

Only to be destroyed by some large AoE attack. Fuck.

Akiya [Mp: 11,160/12,160]

…Oh? Well, even better! That drained a somewhat significant amount of her mana! "I see, your mana reserves aren't that impressive… You're truly on limited time then, and it's only been 1 minute. Are you sure you can stand against the test of time?"

Akiya was doing some kind of insane mental calculation before she… relaxed? "Oh, I'm stupid…" She said, "My self-teleportation spells don't cost a lot of mana!"

...Oh, you know, I felt as if I should've remembered this part.

Trying to salvage the situation with my limited intellect, I tried to goad her into staying, "72 zerglings in under a minute. Within 15 minutes, there would almost be a thousand zerglings tearing apart your classmates… Would you like that to happen to them? It would be very unheroic of you…"

Fortunately, 5th rate manipulator doesn't make me forget basic effects and consequences, only long, hard, and detailed plans on how to make people do certain things, so I can calmly think about the basic effects of her leaving and have enough brain to tell her about it.

Unfortunately for Akiya, her gamer's mind seemed to have activated its heroic effects and she now felt the obligation to stay, "I do like my classmates, I hope you understand that…" preparing some sort of spell in her hand.

Well, the zerg rush plan is mostly scrapped… Well, if it forces her to spend a thousand mana every time a wave comes, then I'll take it and rush her with a thousand more zerg.

"Then come at me!" I shouted, preparing Grasscutter and a charge.

...And she teleports away?! Wait, what the-

"Found your hatcheries, dumbass!" a voice shouted out from one of the higher vantage points in the area.

Wait… FUCK. locating her from the sound of her voice, I activated charge and fly at the same time, trying to reach her, before teleporting again. Wait, how much does that teleport cost?!

Akiya [Mp: 10,160/12,160]

Wait… if she did it twice… 500 every teleport?! What the hell!? That's basically like nothing! And with no cooldown?! I thought they made charge have a cooldown to specifically avoid this sort of thing happening!

She starts using her spells on my hatcheries, doing around 1,500 damage every hit to the 10,000 health hatcheries.

Oh shit, that's my entire plan! Using the charge and fly combo again, she teleports away and starts the process all over again.

She's kiting me! The bastard! As the first hatchery is on the verge of dying and its death basically ensured, I need a plan b…

Fuck it, I'll just kill one of her classmates instead of trying to catch this fly.

"My zerg!" I called out not to the zerg, but to Akiya, "Retreat from this area! We're going for guaranteed damage!" mentally commanding one of the 2 surviving hatcheries to make a few drones to make more hatcheries, all the zerglings start to go into the neighboring landslide zone.

Fortunately, Akiya wasn't able to figure out the smaller details of that plan and teleported away, most likely into the landslide zone.

A quick 30ish seconds of speedily flying later, I realize my mistake as a huge glacier comes towards me.

This was the place where Todoroki is.

Quickly dodging the glacier, another problem soon arose. Namely, Bakugou showed up out of nowhere behind the glacier and blasted towards me, causing me to rise further up to dodge it all.

Were all the strongest damn students here in this zone?!

And unfortunately, I was right where Akiya wanted me to be.

From the distance, I could see Akiya conjuring another spell, and in anticipation, I tried getting Grasscutter to dodge the attack… But then Akiya undershoots it? It goes far under me and I could see Akiya charging for another attack.

Why would she- GACK

700 damage taken.

Zavvox [4,300/5,000]

Shit, she… That spell controlling modifier?! That spell hit me from behind!

As I made the realization, the next spell soon came faster than I thought it would've gone and hit me in the chest again.

700 damage taken.

Zavvox [3,600/5,000]

Alright, plan C, this place is not good at all, I'm retreating.

Quickly turning back and flying towards the ruin zone again, I get hit by another spell while retreating.

700 damage taken.

Zavvox [2,900/5,000]

Have I ever mentioned how much I hate mages? Why the fuck can they do that?!

Fortunately, I was able to dodge the next set of spells by hitting the bolt of magic using Grasscutter, making a note that my weapon can break spells. I ran with my pride tattered towards the slowly growing numbers of hatcheries and zerglings, and mentally commanded them to stop drone production, as they've already made 5 hatches with 10 more on the way, it's getting a bit overkill.

That being said, I need more zerglings. Like, a fuck ton of it.

Unfortunately, with the bullshit of Akiya being able to do some gymnastics with her spells, I can't safely engage her until all her mana is gone…

Not to mention the fact that Akiya is now next to Bakugou, Todoroki, and slightly remembering the anime, likely Kirishima too…

I didn't even get the chance to observe any of them…

Alright, notes for next time, keep an eye on all of her spells, and make sure to disable them all with Grasscutter… And attack in waves with the zerglings to make her waste mana.

If I was just level 25… I could've made flying units and been actually able to do something… Damn it, All for One! You've inadvertently made me lose this fight with your stupid dumb experiments or something!

Alright… I'll just get to level 25, get my spawn minions ability, and bam, instant win condition! I'm pretty confident in saying nobody can face millions of ants and win.

*BOOM!*

"I am here!"

Oh, shit, All Might?!

How did time pass by so quickly?! Agh, whatever, these hatcheries are fated to die now, I've got to get to Kurogiri really quickly before I lose my mortal form… I really don't want to be stuck in a cell for 5 days with nothing to do because I didn't get my spaw- wait… My quest just says to get past the USJ arc and I get 200,000 experience… Which is enough for a few level ups...

...Could I theoretically suicide bomb into… Say, All Might, and be able to, at the very least, say, cover him in corruption to make him fall to my influence?

Sure, I'm pretty sure the corruption I previously spat out in Musutafu was burned out and killed… But I'm pretty sure they'll think twice about doing it on All Might…

...What am I saying? Give up my mortal form for something that might not even happen?

Gah, whatever, I'll just get the zerg to indiscriminately attack the hero students and start heading back to the central plaza to get my get out of jail free card.

Akiya

Alright… I guess Zavvox ran away again… Where did he get that other modifier though? Did he just get lucky on a gacha pull or something?

...Was me accidentally saying Kurogiri's name all my fault and something he didn't even consider? It would be kind of embarrassing if that was the case…

Uh, well, I guess I should watch All Might do his thing and try to eliminate any zerg that… are… still…

Oh, shit, the hatcheries are still alive.

"So, Akiya, are you going to" Todoroki tried to speak, but she head more important things to do.

"Gotta take care of something! See ya!" I shouted and teleported into the distance.

I could vaguely hear the shouts of Bakugou and Kirishima trying to calm him down…

Zavvox

As I entered the central plaza, one thing was exceptionally clear.

Our Nomu was getting his ass kicked.

All Might

Hero

Level: 155

Quirk: One for All

Hp: 250,000

Notable Stats:

Str: 2,500

Dex: 2,500

End: 2,500

Cha: 2,500

And I wasn't saying that like in the "oh, All Might is pushing the nomu back" way, I mean like the "Our nomu is literally getting his ass handed to in 1,776 different martial arts" kind of way.

Moments later, the nomu is going out of the sky, leaving us here to question life for a moment.

"You… You… YOU CHEAT! HOW DID YOU BEAT OUR NOMU!?" Shigaraki yells angrily, losing any previous cool he once had.

Shame, I kind of liked him when he wasn't going batshit crazy…

Kurogiri tried to calm him down, "Calm down, Shigaraki, don't you see? All Might seems to be severely weakened. If we go now, we could kill him ourselves."

...Uh, no? All Might seemed to be standing right there perfectly fine. No hint of steam coming out of him or anything. In fact, if they walk forward, it feels like they're going to trigger a mechanism that kicks their ass…

Unfortunately, Shigaraki doesn't realize this, and agrees with Kurogiri, both of them rushing to fight All Might, who's still just standing there…

And suddenly, All Might disappears.

Hah!? Wait, that's not supposed to-

Suddenly, Kurogiri and Shigaraki were down for the count. Although I think they were both somewhat conscious right now...

Suddenly, a very intimidating presence appeared behind me, "Ah, I've never felt so good since my prime!"

A heavy hand landed on my shoulder, "So, how's your day?" says the symbol of peace, casually as if talking to a good friend on a summer day.

...You know what I said about activating my last laugh?

Yeah, I might actually have to do that. Ah, the consequences of picking the extreme difficulty without thinking too hard about it… Doubly so, considering after this, I need to break out of prison, making that statement of having tough guards become irrelevant.

"Kurogiri." I said, preparing my final words for this body that's been here since the start, "I would suggest you teleport the moment this body meets its end. And as for you All Might…"

"I truly pity what's about to happen to you."

Throwing all caution aside, I throw a punch towards the symbol of peace and a fraction of a second later and a punch thrown at me.

Mortal form has died. Last laugh perk has activated.

Akiya

Phew, dealing with those hatcheries was a pain… they were, unironically, like ants refusing to be stamped out no matter what I tried.

Anyways- wait, is that… Zavvox, right in front of All Might?

"I truly pity what's about to happen to you." Zavvox's voice rings out amongst the somewhat quieting battlefield.

Suddenly, as Kurogiri takes Shigaraki wherever they came from, Zavvox starts to wind up a punch at All Might but he doesn't even get a chance, since All Might is so fast.

The next moment, Zavvox's body violently explodes as it dies, causing huge winds to appear out of nowhere and a dark and green corruption blowing through the area, covering land and people alike.

As the dark explosion finally settles, it dawns on me what just happened.

Corruption has invaded your body. All regeneration is cut by 95%. Zavvox's influence is being negated by Gamer's Mind.

If I recall correctly, I remember a perk that was changed a few patches ago… It was a buff to an old god perk named last laugh…

And taking a look at the surroundings and people covered with corruption, it becomes clear to me that this was all planned.

Shit, what the fuck does Zavvox's influence mean?! Does it mean he has control over all these people now!?

Maybe fortunately, or unfortunately, people weren't looking controlled or anything right now, considering everyone is just confused right now, looking at the USJ, which had been entirely covered in corruption.

...Wait, the entire USJ?!

Looking around, yes, it was the entire USJ that was corrupted now, fuck. Fair and balanced, everyone… This is going to be a hassle to burn and stamp out...

"While it looks like my corruption does not affect you… It does give me a location on where you are… A wonderful way for me to whisper into your mind for a little while before you remove the corruption. By the way, some of the corruption in the explosion was small enough to get into some people's bodies. While I'm sure you'll do fine, considering I already feel the corruption inside of you dying out… I wonder how many people I could fully control by the time the next major arc rolls around? They don't have the same internal defenses we do, after all."

Is that…

Ah, shit. Why couldn't he get a more normal species!? I don't want to fight an old god!

Zavvox

Ah, victory.

Quest completed.

USJ

Get past the USJ Arc.

Rewards: 200,000 experience, 1 gacha token.

You have leveled up 2x [24 to 26] [74,777/112,505]

You have gained 20 stat points.

You have gained ability: Spawn Minions.

Str: 150 to 170 [340/1360]

God damn, my experience needed to level up just gets higher every day…

But regardless, I have my win condition now!

[Spawn minion - Using your own flesh and blood, create a minion from your own mind to do your bidding. Due to the evolution master modifier, this skill can now modify already existing minions and no longer costs health and stamina and mana to use.]

Now… Prison break arc! I wonder if All for One wouldn't mind lending a hand or something…

Omake

Azgalor

Now, with this devious plan to make it seem like Noble is going to betray Ainz Ooal Gown, my victory is all but assured!

...Is what I would've said if fucking Demiurge wasn't on our case about not fighting, saying that "It was Ainz-sama's decree that you end your eternal war for the eternal glory of Nazarick" or something like that.

...Well, Noble is eating lunch right now… Maybe I can just poison him... Would that break the rules?

Agh, whatever, he has an assignment he needs to do in here...

Hm, in hindsight, maybe making the prison weaker wasn't the best idea… But then again, hindsight tells me that the previous 14 chapters probably could've been shaved off into like 9 or 10 if I tried hard enough, so making the prison weaker was most definitely a suboptimal decision.

Also, I feel like the only person in the history of fic writing that has a hard time with skipping time to get to the next important moment… I really can't make myself say "And then this guy does nothing for the next 7 hours despite the ever-present threat of the other player."

Now, with the ability to spawn basically an infinite amount of weak minions, Zavvox's win is all but assured as long as he shows up to the funeral on time. Then again, I have no idea when that would happen… Sports festival maybe?

Wait, I got a cool idea for that. I'll do that after the prison break and maybe an extra chapter detailing what the heck is going to happen to Akiya after I made her do a dumb-dumb despite her ass-kicking of Zavvox immediately following it.

Magic and bullshit beats swords and spears, look it up, trust me bro.

I'll just move the ending of this fic to somewhere like... idk, afo vs ofa? Honestly made Zavvox a tad bit too overpowered to justify making the story longer than that, but more realistically probably ending the second Zavvox gets out of jail... Who's the idiot who let Zavvox make an infinite number of minions? Oh wait, that idiot is me.

Once again, my consistency with writing my OCs are all over the place and probably not satisfying to read. The exact same as my author notes because I write them as I think of them so they aren't structured in any way at all. I add and remove things all the time so all you get reading this is a jumbled mess.

Now anyways, thank you for your reviews and give me more of them because I used up all of my best ideas already because I was an idiot, and probably still am.

...Maybe I should've thought twice before making the MC an old god and making everyone else's level super high for no real reason. Well, things to think about for that second fic I'm never going to write. Or maybe if I'm bored enough, I will.

In other news, while writing this arc, a nice conversation with myself popped into my brain.

"Hmm, I haven't rewatched the USJ arc since I first watched it in like 2019, huh…"

"Nah bro, you read a ton of fanfictions during the pandemic, you got this."

"Shouldn't I rewatch it to make sure I have all my details correct?"

"Nah bro, just wing it."

"...Why?"

"It'll take less time."

"Say no more."

Now anyways… I need sleep. Why did I decide staying up until 12 every night was a good idea? Sure, it lets me do things like writing this fanfiction for shits and giggles, but holy shit, I've relearned how nice it is to sleep in a bed.

Also, that's a bad omen for this fic. Nobody does very good in the final moments before going to bed.
