Akiya

Tsukauchi

Level 45

Quirk: Lie Detector

HP: 12,000

Notable Stats:

Int: 150

Everyones stats don't make sense… It's like they change daily!

"Well, everyone present at the time called you out for naming Kurogiri before he even confirmed it...So, Miss Akiya, care to explain yourself?" Tsukauchi told me straight to my face with no cushioning whatsoever.

So, shit. Now, normally, I'd be doomed to whatever they decide for me comes next, but fortunately, Talk-No-Jutsu makes even the most unlikely of logic to become logical.

"Well," I started, about to make my gamble, "I mean, he looked like a Kurogiri person, you know? Just think about it, what else would that person's name be other than Kurogiri?"

Sure, Tsukauchi's quirk may be a lie detector, but I am telling the truth. Kurogiri looks like Kurogiri, I haven't seen some shadow guy named something else that looks like him.

Unfortunately, Tsukauchi isn't affected by my supreme logic, "Yes… Well, how about this, your classmates have also said that Kurogiri also said something along the lines of "Ah, I suppose Zavvox was somewhat telling the truth," and from what I've heard from the 3 classmates you've had help you fight Zavvox, he seems to be quite fixated on you in particular. Care to share why?"

...Uh, well… "Well, Zavvox has been my eternal enemy since the day I was born, obviously!" I said, throwing something out there and hoping to god Talk-No-Jutsu would make it work.

Tsukauchi was obviously not amused, "Lie."

...Fuck, "...My eternal enemy since the day I've known about him?"

Tsukauchi sighed, "You still haven't answered the first question, then. Why did you know Kurogiri's name?"

"Well… I just do?"

Tsukauchi nodded, "I see… Well, I think I'm done with the questions. You can leave now."

Wait… THAT'S THE ONE THAT WORKED?!

Zavvox.

Escape from Alrodar.

Free your original form from your prison

Reward: 250,000 experience. All minions are buffed from 50% debuff to 25% debuff. ?

Yes, exactly what I was going to do.

Slight problem.

[Doors of fallen gods - an extremely decorated door (on the other side) depicting your defeat. Requires 1600 strength to break. Breaking the door causes the high level guards of this place onto maximum security, activating all security measures to make sure your original form doesn't get out.]

That huge ass door needs 1600 strength to break, and I only have 1360 strength.

But I have a solution. Did you know that the top part of my prison, the shed, isn't locked? All I need to do is just send my minions through that tiny little choke point and drown out this prison in my army's blood.

Now, I've already gotten a hang of spawn minions so I've already done a few things. Firstly, since I don't have my mortal form anymore, I just got a hold of a few drones and removed the first tier limit on the zerg, so they can have all their zerg things when they replace all of their hatcheries and minions with the newly made no limit zerg.

Next, I decided my signature minions other than the zerg are going to be a fuck load of ants. Ant people like me, actual ants like the tiny ones, big headed ants, ants that can fly, ants that spread my corruption, ants that build structures, ants that you know, the whole circus. And to make that army, I've made a lot of queen ants specifically made to produce those specific ants.

Also, did you know that they can make many hundreds of eggs every hour? And it also happened to be that the ants are quite exceptional at making nests…

Essentially, I have an ant army now. Sure, they're all weak, but the eggs are made and hatch and mature within minutes, so for every single ant that dies, a hundred more will follow.

Right now, I've been just making queen ants for the past few hours, and I've got a nice and modest 500 queen ants for each type of ant I want in my swarm.

So, you know, a few hundred thousands of eggs per hour.

Sure, most of them are going to die extremely quickly, but they'll give up their lives for something great.

Well, great if you just think breaking me out of jail is great.

System updated.

Title - Boss music starts playing.

...Oh. Well, let's look at this first then.

Missed us? I hope so! Because you're not going to like us for much longer when we drop the mother of all nerfs on mages! Well, not really, we're just kicking them down a peg. - Gaienyan

...A nerf? On mages? I must be dreaming…

General [Level cap]

Classes [Warrior, Mages, Rogues, Rangers]

Species [Old Gods, God Species, Slimes, Demons, Angels, Fairies]

System 2.0 changes.

...A what cap?

Placed a level cap. You may now only level up to level 100.

We were thinking of doing a huge level squish, but we decided it would just be easier to do this and do the number squish next system. - Aodare

Wait… I don't think I'll ever get to level 100 at the rate I'm going to… This is a nerf to Akiya! We take these!

Slightly increased reaction times of all warriors.

Slightly increased damage of critical hits.

Decreased mana gained per wisdom for some species

Decreased plunge damage.

Decreased damage on throw attacks.

Small changes, but if the changes on mages are going to help me a lot, I'll take it.

Increased mana costs of all teleportation spells.

Increased cast time of all teleportation spells.

Increased cooldown between all teleportation spells.

Stop running and fight, you sons of bitches. - Skryb

Increased mana cost of basic magic attacking spells.

Ah… The sweet scent of victory. Can you hear the sounds of hundreds of mages being pissed off at this? They could nerf me a thousand times over now and I'll still be happy.

Old god's imprisonment modifier changed back to the player's difficulty instead of the enemy player's difficulty.

Added the ability to decrease the effects of cursed blood and corruption.

Slightly decreased experience needed to level up.

"Hey, I have a funny idea," - Aodare making the experience needed to level up for minor gods and above species. You'll still need a lot, but hopefully you won't be wrestling with people 10 times above your level. - Paradise

...I can't believe it… They gave me a buff?! Wait, how much experience do I need to level up now?!

Level: 26 [74,777/112,505] [1.15x every level] [Previously from 1.3x every level going up 0.1x every 10 levels. Now at 1.15 and increases 0.05x every 10 levels.]

I've been blessed by the greatest deus ex machina those developers could've given me. I have no idea how much experience everyone else needs to level up, but considering Akiya's levels, it must not be very much.

Ah… All my doubts have disappeared. I was getting just a bit worried Akiya was just going to outrun me because of the nature of the difference in our levels… But now, Akiya is on a timer and I'm not.

Well, yay for me, boo for her. I have no idea when the sports festival will start, but I'll definitely kill her then.

...Unless if she gets saved by luck again… But I think I'm pretty confident in my chances to win now. Well, more than I was before, anyways.

Ah, this is the greatest life… I might as well make more ant queens while I'm here.

Akiya

*BANG*

God, I hate life right now. Why did they give a buff to the guy who gets a 8x multiplier on all of his stats?!

Gah… Well, if I'm really going to lose because the developers wanted me to, I'm at the very least going to find his damn original form.

Zavvox

While in the process of making a few more ant queens, Kurogiri suddenly pops into my cell.

And he immediately pauses at the sight of all the corruption and ants inside here. Then he started to talk, "Ah… I see you are doing well? I had thought that your mortal body dying would've been detrimental to your well being, but I suppose my worry was unwarranted."

Well, last time he saw me, I was blowing up, so I guess that's fair. I wouldn't have expected me to grow stronger if I was him either… "Well, your worry was not needed. I have gained enough power to start rebuilding my infinite army."

Kurogiri paused for a moment, "Infinite army?"

I started my monologue, fully knowing only one person (And a lot of ants) would be the only ones to hear it, "Thousands of years ago, I once ruled the world. And I now know that this is not that same world I once held an iron grasp over. Yet, it is irrelevant. I was once a god, and I shall once again become a god, unrivaled by any other. All who dare stand in my way shall be crushed and devoured by my swarm. All hope shall die within the hour of my rebirth. The vessel holding the last fragments of my power… Shall be destroyed. This prison is no longer enough to hold me back. I will devour everything in time, once again."

...I sound pretty cool… I need to get that monologue framed.

Unfortunately, Kurogiri wasn't the one to support big bad evil guys other than All for One, so his response was rather lukewarm at best, "I… See. In that case, I shall inform Sensei of your… Ah, restoration, yes?"

I nodded my big head, "Go ahead. He has been at the very least, somewhat useful in giving me a way to find the traitorous vessel, he will be spared from my wrath."

No need to piss off someone who might have a good shot at killing him anyways…

Kurogiri then left without saying another word. That's… Kind of rude, damn.

Well, at least I sounded pretty cool! That's a big upgrade for me from about… What, 2 weeks ago?

...Has it really only been 2 weeks? What the fuck?

Akiya

Ah, the big forest in Musutafu, the number 1 place I'd hide a big prison, which is why it's a wonder why I didn't think to look here first.

There's a lot of things here, like the trees, the bushes, and the corruption spreading next to the weird shed right there!

...Wait a second.

[Entrance to Alrodar - A unassuming shed that serves as an entrance to Alrodar, the prison of Zavvox. This shed is locked from the outside, keeping all those inside locked inside. When the shed is opened, security will increase to level 1.]

...What the fuck.

Wait, if it was this easy... I'm stupid. Mentally ill, even.

...I'm going to open it. And then I'm going to just casually teleport out.

Zavvox

Man, my corruption really isn't doing shit to anyone… Man, is 5th rate manipulator really that bad?

"WARNING. SOMEONE HAS OPENED THE ENTRANCE TO ALRODAR. SECURITY LEVEL INCREASED TO LEVEL 1."

...The fuck?

Omake

Aodare

"Sentrot."

"Yeah, Aodare?"

"Would it be fair and balanced to just make the old god max level just so we don't have to bother balancing him?"

"...No?"

"I was really hoping you'd say yes…"

Y'all ever use some of that critical thinking in your brain and realize, "Wow, this is fucking awful."

That's me to this fic right here. I activated the 1 brain cell in my body that holds my critical thinking and I've peaked and transcended in heart and mind.

With me making Zavvox an old god and Akiya human, I've realized that I doomed this fic to an early death from the start.

So, note #something, OP characters are great until they get a clear and defined goal, in which case, either the opposition also need to be op as fuck, or everything just kinds of falls apart.

Now, my problem is, I made the opposition a bit too weak in comparison and Zavvox too strong with the whole infinite army thing.

So, I have 2 options. Keep going, but just end the fic like next chapter or something, ending with Akiya going "Ah, shit." and dying due to some unforeseen problem like Alrodar not allowing teleports, or go until the sports festival, where I had this cool idea where the floor starts to crack and drop down the contestants into a hole filled with Zavvox's minions where they painfully die. Which, now that I say it outloud, sounds a lot less cooler than I imagined it to be…

Any longer wouldn't really feel right considering an infinite amount of minions = infinite amount of tries = basically a victory, so why would I drag it out longer than it needs to?

Well, on the plus side, writing this 50k word fanfic made me a slightly better writer, so if I ever make another fic again following the whole PvP gamer concept, which I'll probably do considering I have a lot of free time these days currently, that fic won't be as shit.

I was thinking of a villain doppelganger rogue set in MHA again, since I usually tend to hyperfixate on 1 or 2 specific fandoms and right now I'm in my MHA and Genshin phase.

Uh, hold on, I'm getting off topic…

Anyways, my options are to just cut my losses and end the fic next chapter somehow and start writing that new PvP gamer fic which may end up more fair and thus last longer, or to try and put this fic on life support to at the very least make it to the sports festival.

So, leave your reviews and I'll just say that unless someone in the reviews puts up a really good case, I'll probably default to option 1 and end it next chapter.

Although, later on I might just make another fic and take Lezario's idea of having Zavvox and Akiya going across the multiverse doing stupid shit. But definitely nowhere in the near future, I want this fic gone from my memory by Sunday and have its only memory be with me in my writing skills.

...Maybe I'll start to rewatch MHA. I'm sure that'll be nice.
