Not really giving her a chance to react, I started slamming her with all the tentacles I've made since the moment the alarm rang, and after maybe 30 seconds of that, I got the notification I've been waiting for.

"Well," Aodare started in what most would consider a 'normal' voice, "I would say congratulations, but I suppose the outcome really never was in any doubt…"
Aodare continued, "Well, I'm sure my comrades at the office will be celebrating your victory, as we finally get to ignore changing the old gods around, since we're just dumping demi and minor gods in the garbage in the next system. I'm sure they're waiting for the day that archon wins as well…"
Aodare raised one of his shadowy hands at Akiya's battered corpse, and suddenly, she started to heal and started to cough.
"What the- Ow, that really fucking hurts…" Akiya muttered out while laying on the floor.
"Well," Aodare began to talk again, "Normally, one of the developers, in this case, me, would give you thanks for… Ahem, "voluntarily," playing our system, but our experience with you, Zavvox, has been so shit I wouldn't even think about thanking you."
That… Really sucks. Akiya at this point took a look at Aodare and immediately pales.
Aodare corrects himself, however, "Actually, one thing I would thank you for is that you and Corobos both showed that the god ranks are fucking hell to balance out and that we should just remove them. Corobos is the pyro archon that you heard about in your character selection by the admin who was dealing with you, by the way."
...I mean… I'll take it? I still haven't come up with a good response to talk yet…

Aodare slowly starts to disappear, "May some god out there have mercy on your soul, because Skryb sure as hell won't."

Akiya and I looked at each other for a moment, before Akiya started first, "Soo… No hard feelings?"
I gave the best shrug I could give, "Well, you did just walk into my base, essentially letting me win for free… So sure, no hard feelings. You're still stuck with me for the rest of eternity though."
Akiya's figure immediately dropped in relief, "Ah, great! Ah… I was worrying for nothing, then!"
I immediately crush her hopes and dreams, "We're still going on to conquer this world while we're here, get up."

That really doesn't feel like an ending to some 50k word monstrosity I decided to make on a whim…
On one hand, I feel great that I don't have to work on this amalgamation anymore, on the other hand, I feel like I wasted the entire fic essentially doing nothing and then suddenly cutting it's life.
Wait, shit, I just realized I've never fulfilled Pa7adox's request of having zerg absolutely terrorizing shit in the story… Give me a moment.

Unfortunately, as by some miracle, the leviathan didn't get spotted earlier, millions of zerg soon descended upon the world ravaging everything that stood in their way.
Many cries for their parents and children were cried out and silenced that day.
Deep underground in a world far, far away, someone feels a bit more satisfied than they were 5 seconds ago.

Yeah, alright, now, as I was saying, cutting the fic in half.
Well, not half, really. I was just finally enlightened to the problems of an ultra powerful oc and decided to stop here before I went off the road into something I couldn't really come back from. Or something symbolic like that.
One option to save this fic was to drop a huge nerf nuke on the old gods as a whole… But then, y'know, would it really be satisfying to just have something that's been staying there since like chapter 5 suddenly be gone just because "lmao whoops."?
Well, the concept of patches were pretty cool, and I'll probably include it next fic.
Uh, I'll get to work on that whenever I feel like it… I'll probably just stick to a villain doppelganger rogue in MHA, just like I said I would last chapter. Maybe this time, with my 3rd grade writing skills, that fic will last longer than this one.
Well… I guess it's the end? Thanks for the reviews, because the reviews and the people writing the reviews were definitely carrying this fic until the very end. This fic would be lying in the "Really fucking awful" section of gamer fanfiction without them. Now, this fic is lying in the "below average to mediocre" section, which is a lot better than what I expected.
Now, if only I could find another PvP gamer fanfic… Well, I guess my crusade isn't over yet.
