Surmayee is...slogging hard in Spring 2011

Well, hello there.

I am well aware that my username is questionable. Hey, don't blame me, I was 12 and madly (or so i thought) in love, ergo the name. Yeah, don't even ask.

My name is Surmayee (and no, its not pronounced the way it's spelt). You say it as sir-my (I'm brown, we rarely make things easy for other people lol). I'm 18(legal baby!). California Golden Bear baby (i heart Bezerkeley). For convinience's sake, my friends call me Sur, and if you're going to message me, I advise you do the same. Not a lot of people call me Surmayee, except my mother when she's in a bad mood.

About me: I'm rather complicated, but very simply, everything anyone could say about a Gemini hits the nail on the head with me. I'm crazy, indecisive and I talk waaay too much for my own good. I use my hands and gestures a lot even when they're not required, and man, do I get excited easily. But hey, it's not all good. Flame me, and I will be pissed. Be condescending, and I will be pissed. I can go from being the nicest person on earth to someone you don't want to go up against within seconds. But I reserve that for the flamers and the pretenders. I like to make a judgement after I know a little bit about what I'm judging. I like to think I can multitask...just not so well. Dance is my life. And that is not an overstatement. It is simply the truth.

Likes: chocolate, fanfiction, reading, staring at the rain, music, dance, tennis, Harry Potter, Bones, Gossip Girl, Grey's Anatomy, JONAS ...okay who am I kidding, I like way way way way too many things to make a list of them.

Dislikes: WRITER'S BLOCK, certain beans, random vegetables, flamers, pretenders, bad grammar, bad spelling (GET A FREAKING BETA), bad summaries, twilight/twilighters, fakers. There's more, just try not to find out lol

Fav Ships: I'm very open minded, and I like to see the potential in most pairings. (except snape/hermione and minerva/albus...you can NEVER convert me). I LOVE OC fics, it shows true imagination from an author. Slash is a bit on the fence territory, but hey, a well written fic is a well written fic, no matter what the pairing.

I write because writing is the way I can get things out. It's super therapeutic, and I absolutely adore it. It's not serious, but it does mean a lot to me.

I feel the need to apologise here, because I haven't updated my work in a LONG time. Life does get in the way, as does lack of inspiration. Hopefully there will be updates soon, so please do keep your eyes peeled. And don't underestimate how much author's love a review... it actually means the world to us and boosts confidence so much :)
