2-5-15: Hey, it's been a while, hasn't it?

I wanted to do a status update for the two fics that still get the occasional hopeful follow; Taken Day by Day and Starfall. If you've been paying any attention at all to their progress, you'd know that it's pretty much nonexistent at this point. Years have gone by without new chapters.

I imagine that will continue.

That isn't to say I've lost interest in finishing them, but I have lost a lot of interest in the worlds they're based in. Negima's ending soured a lot of my investment in the series, and I stopped watching CSI years ago.

Most people following the stories probably don't need me pointing out my lack of motivation. The absence of new words for years speaks pretty loudly. But I wanted to get my stance on them out in the open so I could free myself up a little from the guilt of not working on them.

So, in summary: Are these fics abandoned? Not yet. Are they being worked on actively? No.

Am I still writing?

Well. I'm certainly trying to.
