Chapter 6
Earth-78
Clark and Superman punched each other simultaneously, the collision of their fists producing a massive shockwave that dispersed the clouds below and sent the two flying many feet back. They steadied themselves and flew at each other in blurs. Clark delivered a strong punch to Superman's face, sending him flying back. Clark flew at him with another punch, but Superman recovered and grabbed Clark's arm. In a spin motion, Superman flung Clark away, sending him crashing through several buildings as the top portions of them got obliterated.
People on the ground screamed in terror and fled the area as debris from the damaged buildings fell down.
Clark grunted as he crash-landed on a sidewalk, severely damaging it on impact and causing some cars on the street to flip over as civilians ran away in panic, with some of them stopping to look at Clark in alarm. He stood up just as Superman flew at him and tackled Clark away as they crashed into a building and came out of it through the other side, resulting in the building shaking and collapsing.
Clark and Superman crashed on the ground, obliterating the concrete beneath them. As they got up simultaneously, Clark joined his fists and smashed them into Superman's chest, sending the older Man of Steel hurtling many feet back and crashing into an empty truck, which exploded on impact. As Clark flew at him, Superman lifted what remained of the destroyed truck and slammed it into Clark, knocking him many feet back before Clark landed on top of a parked car. Clark got up, picked up the car, and hurled it at an approaching Superman, who blasted the vehicle away with his heat vision. They flew at each other and hurled a punch simultaneously, producing another shockwave as their fists collided again while nearly all the windows of the buildings around them shattered. Superman threw another punch, but Clark caught his fist with one hand and used his other hand to throw a punch back, only for Superman to catch it with his free hand. As the two Kryptonians struggled against each other's strength, Clark head-butted Superman in the forehead, but the latter didn't let go. Superman head-butted Clark back, but Clark didn't let go either.
Clark then unleashed his heat vision, getting Superman square in the chest, though the latter was unaffected and stood his ground. Superman head-butted Clark again, this time in the nose, which started bleeding, and followed up by kneeing Clark in the abdomen. This did the trick as Superman managed to free his fist from Clark's grip. Superman punched Clark in the chest, sending him crashing into another building, which was also heavily damaged on impact. Superman flew into the building, causing further damage to it, and saw that Clark had already gotten back to his feet. Seeing Superman approaching, Clark performed a thunderclap and the resultant shockwave threw Superman back outside. The shockwave also brought down the building as it collapsed, with Clark flying out of it in a blur.
Clark glanced around for any signs of his opponent, but couldn't find the other Man of Steel anywhere. That was when he heard a sonic boom behind him and was about to turn around when Superman suddenly grabbed him in a chokehold from behind.
"As much as I hate to admit it, you're a worthy opponent," Superman commented, trying to break Clark's neck. "But there could only be one Superman!"
"You're right, and it's gonna me!" Clark snarled, before elbowing Superman in the torso hard and head-butting him in the nose with the back of his head, freeing himself.
Whirling around, Clark delivered a powerful uppercut under Superman's chin, sending him hurtling high up into the sky.
Clark flew up after Superman and punched him again, sending him further up into the sky. He tried to deliver a third punch, but Superman recovered and flew out of the way. Getting behind Clark, Superman grabbed him by the cape, spun him around several times, and flung the younger Kryptonian across the city. He flew after Clark, intending to continue the battle.
Earth-21
Kara K sidestepped Galatea's punch and punched Galatea in the face, sending the white-garbed blonde flying off and crash-landing on the rooftop of a building several blocks away.
Prince (Earth-50 Wonder Woman) prepared to slam her bracelets together, but Kara K grabbed her wrists, stopping her, and head-butted Prince in the face, dazing her and making her nose bleed. Kara K backhanded Prince, knocking her off the rooftop as she fell towards the ground.
Kara K flew down after Prince, grabbed her, and flung her the rest of the way down as Prince crash-landed on top of a car. Kara K hovered over Prince and unleashed her heat vision, which Prince blocked just in time with her shield.
Galatea flew down towards Kara K at full speed. Noticing Galatea approaching from the corner of her eye, Kara K weaved out of the way to avoid her punch. Galatea unleashed her heat vision, but Kara K swerved to avoid it, flew up at Galatea, grabbed her around the throat with one hand, and threw her to the ground, where a crater was formed.
"I'd stay down if I were you!" Kara K snarled.
"Never!" Galatea hissed, punching the ground and picking up a huge chunk of broken concrete.
She flung the concrete at Kara K, who effortlessly shattered it with her hands.
"Is that all you got?" Kara K scoffed.
"Not quite!" Galatea replied, before flying at her.
She hurled multiple punches at Kara K, who avoided every one of them with a smirk. Galatea hurled another punch, only for Kara K to grab her fist and clench it as Galatea cried out in pain while a cracking sound was heard. With her other hand, Kara K punched Galatea in the chest, sending her flying off through the air.
Prince threw her lasso around Kara K, restraining her as it glowed. With a loud yell, Prince pulled on her lasso and swung Kara K around, slamming the Kryptonian into a building, which suffered damage on impact.
Galatea flew down next to Prince with a smirk. "We can take her."
"Of course we can," Prince agreed.
A pissed Kara K flew out of the building in a red and blue blur and headed straight towards her two opponents. Prince raised her shield just in time to block Kara K's punch intended for her head, but was still sent flying many feet back by the latter's sheer strength.
Kara K turned to Galatea, grabbed her by the hair, and brutally punched her face several times, dazing Galatea as her face was marked with bruises while her nose and lips were bleeding. Kara K slammed Galatea on the ground, dazing her further. Noticing Prince leaping towards her, Kara K picked up Galatea and flung her into Prince, causing both of them to crash on the ground upon colliding into each other.
Earth-96
Kal-El caught the blade of Diana (Earth-21 Wonder Woman)'s sword as she swung it at him, letting out a grunt in surprise more than pain as the weapon actually managed to slit the palm of his hand. He stared at his palm in shock, clearly not having expected that, and watched as it healed.
Taking advantage of this distraction, Diana bashed Kal-El in the face with her shield twice, staggering him back, and spin-kicked him in the abdomen, knocking him off the rooftop as he fell towards the ground below.
As Kal-El steadied himself, Diana leapt off the rooftop after him, her sword raised. She slashed at Kal-El's neck in an attempt to decapitate him, but he flew lower to avoid the attack. Grabbing her legs, Kal-El spun Diana around and threw her towards the ground, where she landed in the middle of the street as a crater formed around her.
Kal-El flew down in a blur and attempted to punch her, but Diana rolled out of the way just in time as Kal-El's fists collided with the ground instead, causing the area to shake as several nearby vehicles flipped over.
As Diana got back to her feet, Kal-El flew after her with a punch, but Diana sidestepped to avoid his fist. He tried to punch her again, but she blocked it with her shield, though the force of the punch staggered her several feet back. Diana leapt forward, bashing her shield against Kal-El's chest, sending him flying off and crashing on another part of the street, which was heavily damaged on impact.
As Kal-El got back up, Diana rushed him and raised her shield to block Kal-El's heat vision unleashed at her as she staggered a couple of feet back under the beam's power. Diana leapt into the air, performed a flip, and descended behind Kal-El, who whirled around to face her. He hurled a punch at her, but Diana blocked it with her bracelet and punched him back. In a spin motion, she attempted to stab Kal-El in the abdomen, but he sidestepped, narrowly avoiding the blade. She then slashed at his face, managing to open a cut on his cheek as he grunted in pain.
Diana then slammed her bracelets together, unleashing a powerful shockwave blast that sent Kal-El flying off while the glass of nearby buildings and vehicles shattered. Diana charged after Kal-El, who steadied himself, and leapt towards him with her sword raised. Glaring at her, Kal-El performed a thunderclap, producing a massive shockwave that sent Diana flying off and crashing into one of the destroyed vehicles. Diana got back up, picked up the aforementioned vehicle, and tossed it at Kal-El, who simply swatted the vehicle aside like nothing. Kal-El then flew at Diana at the same time she leapt towards him as neither had any intention of giving up the battle until one of them was no longer standing.

Kara D's blue heat vision and Linda's red heat vision clashed halfway in an intense effort to overpower the other. After several seconds, the two women ceased their heat vision and flew towards each other. Kara D punched Linda in the face three times, staggering the older woman back. Kara D threw a fourth punch, but Linda dodged it, grabbed Kara D, and hurled her away, sending Kara D plummeting towards the ground.
Kara D steadied herself as Linda flew down towards her. Kara D fired heat vision, but Linda swerved to avoid the beam as she continued flying towards Kara D. Linda fired heat vision back, but Kara D also swerved to avoid it. Flying at each other, the two women exchanged several blows before Linda grabbed Kara D around the throat with one hand and flew straight down at full speed, slamming the younger Girl of Steel into the ground, which was obliterated on impact as the resultant shockwave flipped several vehicles over and shattered many windows of nearby buildings.
Linda picked Kara D up with one hand and punched the latter away with her other hand, sending Kara D flying off through the air and crashing into a building through one of the windows. Linda flew after her, entering the building where Kara D got back to her feet. The people inside the office of the building watched as the two Kryptonians traded fierce blows. Kara D punched Linda in the side of her torso and tried to follow up with a punch to her face, but Linda sidestepped it and backhanded Kara D, sending her crashing back outside through another window as Linda flew after her.
Kara D steadied herself and flew up at Linda, who got behind Kara D. Linda grabbed Kara D by the cape and flung her on the ground, where Kara D landed hard as another crater was formed. Linda flew down in an attempt to punch Kara D again, but Kara D rolled out of the way just in time and got back to her feet. Linda picked up a large chunk of concrete and hurled it at Kara D, who was sent flying back as it struck her in the chest. Kara D got right back up and lifted a steel sign pole out of the ground as Linda flew towards her. She then swung the pole, whacking Linda in the chest with it and sending the older Kryptonian flying off.
(Metropolis)
Kent (Earth-38 Superman) and Shazam punched each other simultaneously, producing a shockwave that threw both heroes back in opposite directions. Shazam crashed through the rooftop of one of the buildings below, while Kent steadied himself. Kent flew into the building through the rooftop, which was destroyed on impact, and landed where Shazam was getting back to his feet. Shazam charged up some lightning from his hands and hurled it at Kent, who cried out in pain as he was struck in the chest and sent hurtling out of the building. Shazam flew outside after Kent and punched him, sending him crashing clean through another building, which suffered quite a bit of damage on impact.
Kent crash-landed on the ground in the middle of a street, where a crater had been formed. Getting up, he saw Shazam flying down towards him and unleashed his heat vision. The beam struck Shazam in the chest and sent him flying back. Kent flew up at Shazam, grabbed him by the cape, and flung him to the ground, where Shazam crashed into an empty bus. As Kent flew down towards him, Shazam got out of the bus, lifted the heavily damaged vehicle, and rammed it into Kent, who was sent flying off and crashing into another building as well as through several walls, while civilians in the vicinity were fleeing in panic while some were standing around watching and filming the fight on their phones.
Shazam flew into the building after Kent, who got back up, and the two grabbed each other's hands as they struggled for a bit. They then shot straight up into the air, crashing outside through the rooftop as the building shook and started to collapse. As they continued their struggle, Kent head-butted Shazam, dazing the latter as he let go of the Man of Steel. Kent then delivered a strong uppercut that knocked Shazam several meters in the air. Kent flew up, punching Shazam again as the latter crashed through another building across the street. Kent flew into the building and continued punching Shazam, managing to get in two more hits before Shazam punched him. The two traded several more blows before they exited the building through the other side of it, leaving it to collapse into a massive pile of rubble.
Kent punched Shazam five more times before the latter was sent flying through another building, heavily damaging the top portion of it. Steadying himself, Shazam flew towards Kent and punched him several times, sending Kent crashing into a building as well. Shazam flew into the building after Kent and tackled him back outside as the two hurtled many meters through the air.
Earth-50
Kal (Earth-50 Superman) and Supes (Earth-192 Superman) punched each other simultaneously, the collision of their fists producing a huge shockwave that destroyed the upper portions of several buildings and sent the two Men of Steel flying back.
People on the ground screamed in terror and fled the area as debris from the damaged buildings fell down.
The two Supermen steadied themselves and flew at each other. Supes delivered two powerful punches to Kal's face and followed up with an uppercut under the latter's chin, sending him flying off by many feet through the air. As Kal steadied himself, he and Supes flew at each other. Kal punched Supes twice in the chest and abdomen and punched him in the chest again, sending Supes crashing to the ground, where he landed between some cars parked on the street, causing them to flip over. As Kal flew down after him, Supes got up, picking up one of the cars, and flew up towards his opponent. Supes slammed the car into Kal's chest, sending him crashing into the entrance of a building across the street.
Kal flew back out of the building in a blur and tackled Supes through the air as they two struggled for a bit. Supes head-butted Kal in the face, dazing the latter and forcing him to let go. Supes then elbowed Kal in the chest and punched him in the face, sending Kal crashing on the ground where a crater was formed.
Supes flew down at Kal, who flew high into the air to avoid the former. Supes flew up after Kal and the two continued trading powerful blows until Supes sent Kal flying off and landing on a building's rooftop, severely damaging it. Supes flew down at Kal and rammed into him hard, completely obliterating the rooftop as the entire building quickly came down around them.
Kal delivered two hard punches to Supes' chest, before Supes punched Kal in the face, staggering him several feet back. Kal tried to punch back, but Supes grabbed his arm and slammed him on the ground hard before stamping Kal's chest, causing the Earth-50 Superman to grunt in pain.
"I advise you to stay down," Supes snarled.
"Not until I've ended you!" Kal roared, getting back to his feet.
"That's not going to happen!" Supes declared.
Kal threw a punch at him, but Supes reacted faster as he grabbed Kal around the neck and flung him away, sending Kal hurtling across the street and crashing into a bank through several walls before slamming into a steel bank vault, while the people inside screamed and started fleeing out of the building.
Getting back to his feet, Kal grabbed the steel vault by its round door, pulled the vault loose from the wall, and hefted the huge block of steel over his head before flying back outside. Kal tried to slam the huge vault on top of Supes, but the latter flew out of the way.
"I've done that one before," Supes stated, thinking back to his destructive battle with Captain Marvel a few years ago. "Not gonna work on me."
He flew behind Kal and punched him in the back, sending him crashing to the ground, forming yet another crater.
"However..." Supes said, picking up the steel vault.
He brutally slammed the vault on top of Kal several times, dazing him heavily as the ground in the entire vicinity shook from the impact. Tossing the vault aside, Supes lifted Kal by the cape and slammed him on the ground before throwing him away, sending Kal crashing through another building, which collapsed as well.
Supes flew over to where Kal had landed on the ground. "Had enough?" the former asked.
"Not quite," Kal snarled angrily, his eyes glowing reddish-orange as he stumbled back up.
He unleashed a powerful blast of heat vision, getting Supes in the chest and sending him flying back. Kal flew after Supes, who steadied himself, and two continued their heated battle.
Earth-192
Astra tried to punch Wonder Woman, but the latter blocked with her bracelets. Astra threw another punch, but Wonder Woman ducked under the former's fist and punched Astra in the chest, knocking her a few feet back. In a spin motion, Wonder Woman kicked Astra in the face, sending the Kryptonian flying off and crashing through a building, which suffered damage on impact.
Wonder Woman flew towards Astra, who unleashed her heat vision, which Wonder Woman flew up to avoid. Twirling her lasso, Wonder Woman threw it at Astra in an attempt to restrain her, but Astra caught the lasso in her hand as it glowed.
"Surrender now and I'll make sure your death is quick," Wonder Woman ordered.
"I never give up!" Astra snarled.
The two women pulled on either side of the lasso as hard as they could, desperate to get it away from the other. After a few seconds, Astra unleashed another beam of heat vision at Wonder Woman again, but the latter deflected the blast with her one of her bracelets, sending it back to Astra, who was knocked several feet back as it hit her.
Wonder Woman flew at Astra and punched her hard, sending her crashing on a sidewalk as the concrete beneath her shattered. Astra got back up and sped across the street to a white van. As Wonder Woman flew down towards her, Astra lifted the van over her head and tossed it at Wonder Woman, who was sent flying back as it hit her. Wonder Woman quickly got back to her feet as Astra flew towards her. She slammed her bracelets together, producing a shockwave blast that struck Astra and sent the Kryptonian crashing into a building through the entrance.
Astra flew out of the building in a blur and hurled a punch at Wonder Woman, who flipped out of the way. Wonder Woman leapt up at Astra, tackling her through the air as the two women crashed into a building and out of it through the other side while struggling against each other's strength. Wonder Woman elbowed Astra in the neck, forcing the latter to let go of her. Wonder Woman then grabbed Astra's arm and flung her on the ground, forming a crater in the middle of the street.
Wonder Woman flew down at her, but Astra rolled out of the way at the last moment and got back to her feet. Astra unleashed her super-breath at Wonder Woman, who stood her ground against the incredibly powerful winds though she was staggered a couple of feet back.

In the newsroom of the Daily Planet, many of the employees were standing in front of the windows, looking outside at the destructive battle unfolding across the city of Metropolis.
The editor-in-chief, Lois Lane, who was now in her late sixties but still appeared to be vital and intrepid as ever, strode through the newsroom as a young reporter approached her.
"Ms. Lane," he said to her
"What on Earth is happening out there?" Lois demanded.
"It's Superman, Ms. Lane," the young reporter told her. "He's in a fight with someone dressed just like him."
Without saying another word, Lois hurried towards the window and looked outside, watching in wonder as Superman and a younger man dressed in a very similar blue and red suit were flying around exchanging shockwave-inducing punches and throwing each other into buildings.
"Who is that other guy?" the reporter-turned-editor-in-chief wondered out loud. Turning to the various reporters, Lois announced, "All right, I want all of you on this story immediately! We need to find out who Superman is fighting and where he came from!"
"Yes, Ms. Lane," a reporter nodded, as everyone immediately got to work.
Earth-21
(Metropolis)
In the Watchtower headquarters, Tess and Emil were watching footage of Kara in a destructive battle with a woman dressed like Wonder Woman and a blonde woman in white who seemed to possess the powers of a Kryptonian. Kara clearly had the upper hand against the other two.
"Kara doesn't appear to be in her right mind," Emil noted.
"Whatever the case is, we need to contact Clark as well as the rest of the League," Tess stated, before putting a hand to her ear. "Watchtower to Superman. We have an urgent situation that involves your cousin." When there was no response, Tess added, "Superman, do you read me?" When there was still no response, Tess then said, "Superman?" She turned to Emil. "He's not answering."
(Daily Planet)
Perry White, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, and several other employees were standing in front of a window watching the battle.
"Lane, Olsen, I want you two on this right away!" Perry ordered.
"You got it, chief," Lois said.
"If you see Kent, tell him I'd like a word with him!" Perry exclaimed. "Oh, and don't call me chief!"
Lois and Jimmy headed off, the former pulling out her phone to text her husband.
(Star City)
In the secondary Watchtower headquarters, Ollie, Chloe, Dinah, Mia Dearden, Victor, A.C., and John Jones were gathered around a computer screen looking at the news footage showing Kara's battle with who they, sans Mia, recognized as Earth-50 Wonder Woman and a blonde woman in white who was clearly a Kryptonian.
"Who are those other two women?" Mia asked.
"One of them is Diana's counterpart from Earth-50," Chloe noted. "As for the one in white, no idea."
"Judging by her powers, she's definitely Kryptonian," Ollie said.
"I wonder why they're fighting," Dinah said.
"They don't appear to be in their right minds," John noted.
"We need to get to Metropolis as soon as possible and stop them before the destruction a lot worse than what it already is," Ollie stated.
Suddenly, the base was engulfed in a bright flash of light. As the light faded after a few moments, the League members turned to see John Corben, Black Manta, Grundy, Vordigan, Captain Cold, Icicle, Claire Selton, Justin Gaines, Tim Westcott, Tommy Lee, Tyler Crenshaw, and Tempest Drake standing in the secondary Watchtower and immediately took fighting stances as they glared at their enemies.
"John Corben," Ollie snarled.
"I hope you said your goodbyes, Queen, because we're here to eliminate you and your team," Corben sneered. "Without your flying Boy Scout around, this should be a piece of cake."

J'onn, Alex, Winn, and the agents were gathered in the command center of the D.E.O. looking at the news covering the heated battle between Supergirl and a woman dressed in a blue and red suit that looked very much like the former's old suit.
Suddenly, Barry sped into the headquarters, dressed in his Flash suit.
"I ran here as soon as I saw the news," the speedster announced, before looking up at the TV with the others. "How did the other Supergirl get here and why are she and our Supergirl fighting?"
"That's what we intend to find out," J'onn said.
"Clearly, one or both of them aren't in their right minds," Winn said. "I mean, since that other Supergirl is the same one we met during the Nazi and Doomsday mess on Earth-1 a few months ago, they have no reason to fight each other otherwise, right?"
"Whatever the case may be, we need to stop them before the damage from their battle becomes much worse than it already is," J'onn said.
"Not to mention the repercussions this could have for my mom, since the other Supergirl is practically the spitting image of her," Alex added in concern.
Suddenly, the computers beeped as Winn, Alex, Barry, and J'onn rushed to them. Winn pressed a command and, after a moment, footage of Silver Banshee, Hank Henshaw, Bizarro-Girl, and Earth-21's Atomic Skull attacking random civilians and causing damage to public property showed up.
"Oh, boy," Barry muttered with a sigh.
"Silver Banshee, Hank Henshaw, Bizarro, and whoever that guy with the flaming purple skull head is," Winn noted. "Our problem just went from bad to worse."
"The Supergirls will have to wait," Barry said. "Right now, dealing with these four is our biggest priority."
"Why don't we contact Superman? We're definitely gonna need more help with what we're up against," Winn suggested.
"Great idea, Agent Schott," J'onn agreed, before turning to Barry. "Flash, you go to Metropolis and get Superman. I'll head out and hold off our enemies."
"All right, I'll try to be back in less than a minute," Barry said, before speeding off.
J'onn transformed into his Martian form and flew out of the D.E.O.

In the main library of Wayne Manor, Bruce Wayne, clad in his Batman suit with the cowl down, was sitting in front of a computer doing some work on it, while Barry Allen and Victor Stone were sitting at the round table as the former was wolfing down a box of pizza.
Alfred entered and turned to Bruce with a look of concern on his face. "Master Wayne, you need to see this."
Bruce got up and followed Alfred into one of the rooms in the manor. Curious, Barry and Vic got up as well and went after the other two men.
They stopped in front of the TV, which was showing the news covering a destructive battle between Superman and an individual dressed like him taking place across Metropolis.
Bruce, Vic, Barry, and Alfred watched the footage intently as the two Supermen flew around exchanging shockwave-inducing punches and tossing each other into buildings, which suffered heavy damage.
"Wait, is that... another Superman?" Barry wondered with a dropped jaw. "Maybe from one of those other Earths?"
"We need to contact Diana, Arthur, and Hal, get to Metropolis, and put a stop to this madness now!" Bruce ordered sternly as he put on his cowl. "We will not let what happened to that city five years ago happen again!"
Barry sped off and returned a second later, now clad in his Flash suit. "Ready, Bats."
"Let's go," Bruce ordered.
He, Barry, and Vic went back into the main library before a huge flash of light appeared before them. As they light faded, the three Justice Leaguers took in the five figures that suddenly appeared out of thin air, Bruce instantly recognizing four of them as a death glare appeared on his face.
Standing opposite of Bruce, Barry, and Vic were Solomon Grundy, Clayface, Bane, Deathstroke, and Earth-21's Rose Wilson.
"Whoa," Barry muttered, grimacing at the giant mud-like and hulking zombie-like appearances of Clayface and Grundy respectively. Turning to Bruce, he asked, "Bats? Are these guys..."
"Enemies of mine," Bruce growled, not taking his glare off the intruders. "I haven't met the woman though." To the villains, he angrily demanded, "What do you want?!"
"We're here to kill you and your so-called Justice League, Batman," Clayface sneered, morphing his right hand into an axe. "Or should I say Bruce Wayne?"
"This time, I will finish the job," Deathstroke added, unsheathing out his sword.
"I will very much enjoy the crumbling of your bones in my hands," Bane said with a smirk, pressing a button on his wrist as his muscular form increased in size.
"Batman is mine," Deathstroke stated in a tone that left no room for argument.
"Here we go," Cyborg said, raising his arm with his cannon at the ready while Batman, who clicked a button on a small device, and Flash took fighting stances.
Earth-192
(Metro Tower, Metropolis)
Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, Vixen, Shayera, Captain Atom, Green Arrow, Black Canary, and Red Tornado were gathered around one of the computer screens in their Earth-based headquarters watching footage of Wonder Woman battling a powerful woman in black across the city.
"Any idea who the chick in black is?" Flash asked.
"Whoever she is, she seems to possess the same abilities as Superman," Batman noted.
"So she's a Kryptonian," Green Arrow said.
"If that's the case, Diana will need our help," Vixen said.
"Correction, we need to stop both of them," Batman said, his eyes glued intently to the video.
"Both?" Flash asked in confusion. "Why would we need to stop Diana, our own teammate?"
"Because she's never this brutal in a fight, which means she's not herself," Batman explained, as he and the others watched Wonder Woman slam a truck repeatedly on top of the black-garbed woman.
"Batman is correct," Red Tornado stated. "Wonder Woman and the other individual are battling each other with the intent to eliminate the other."
"So they're under some kind of mind-control?" Captain Atom asked.
"It wouldn't be the first time," Shayera pointed out. "The question is, who is behind this?"
"Roulette maybe?" Black Canary suggested. "Mind-controlling people into fighting fits her M.O."
"I don't think it's Roulette," Green Arrow said. "This is different somehow."
"We know for sure that Diana isn't in her right mind, but we don't know a thing about the woman she's fighting," Green Lantern stated.
"In any case, we need..."
Whatever Batman was going to say next was interrupted as the base was suddenly engulfed in a bright flash of light. As the light faded after a few moments, he and the other members of the League turned to see Sinestro, Giganta, Bizarro, Metallo, Star Sapphire, Livewire, Killer Frost, Heatwave, Volcana, Cheetah, Black Mass, Earth-38's Red Tornado, Jack, King, Queen, and Ten standing in the Metro Tower headquarters.
The Justice Leaguers immediately took fighting stances and glared at the group of supervillains, preparing for action.
To be continued...
