ABOUT ME

Yo punks, I'm Kenzie This isn't a dating site (...to my knowledge...) so I'll spare you a long summary of my life. Simply, I'm a young woman in that awful transitional period where you're expected to be responsible, but have too little experience and confidence in yourself to be successful. I don't even want independence, but here we are! Growing up is tough shit, you guys. In any case, I got an Associates (in fine art) but all my dreams seem unattainable here at Point A.

Fiction is, and always has been, my escape. I used to write, when I was younger, and it brought me a lot of joy and self-esteem. I'm hoping that by reviving that passion back to it's old status as favorite pastime, I might feel more capable and in control. Rather than just taking in others' creativity, contributing something of value might help me to feel valuable myself.

Who knows? Certainly doesn't hurt to try. I'd like to believe that, whether it's through visual art or the written word, or some other medium I've yet to explore, what matters most is enjoying the creation... My goal is to upload 10,000 words by 2014. To the me reading this in the new year, congratulations, regardless of the outcome. Don't beat yourself up if you couldn't meet the goal set here. That you keep on pushing forward, no matter your success rate, is reason enough for pride. To all the others reading this, whatever the date is, thanks for your time! I hope you find my fanfiction fun, maybe even thought provoking. Even if you hated it, I appreciate that you read my work. Kisses!!

PLANS

So, at this moment, the work which I am most committed to is an as-of-yet untitled Evangelion fanfic starring Akagi Ritsuko. It's part redemption!fic, part reimagining of the series. It's firmly based in the TV series, and I'm hoping it will span the same time period till the very end of the show... Meaning no EOE or Rebuild elements as of my current ideas.

One sentence summary: A change in the relationship between Gendo & Ritsuko has wide-reaching consequences, which may lead to a whole new scenario altogether.

I have another Evangelion piece called November, which is a Hikari-centric retelling wherein she becomes a pilot on the same day as Shinji after following (an uninjured) Rei to Nerv on the day Sachiel attacks. If you've read some of my other works in the Eva field, you might know I have a fixation on the Hikari x Touji ship, and this one is pretty much a romance... but I'm trying to learn to write battle scenes too, so it's kinda an experiment. I open the file up and glare at it on occasion, so who knows where that's going...!A third Evangelion fic... I have a few tentative titles at the moment... It's Evangelion meets Alice in Wonderland at it's most boiled down. I actually haven't worked on this in years, but I still really like the concept and want to rework it into something short and sweet. This one was planned as a bit of humor and fantasy, but it could turn out dark if plans go awry... We'll see if I do anything with it!I have some bits and pieces of concept work done on a Skyrim fanfic. Something of a next-generation story, meant to take place after the Dragonborn retires from her life of adventuring. I really like the universe and want to play around inside of it without a controllerThere aren't any words on paper (digital or otherwise) just yet, but I'm stewing over a few concepts for a Shin Megami Tensei fanfic. Definitely no epic saga in the works! But I really love the series. Like, really really love it. I want to write a fic that measures up to that love, in any small way.

I want to write...: The Obernewtyn Chronicles, Harry Potter, & The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya fafics, and some kind of asian drama melting pot original fiction piece
