The only previous fiction writing experience I have is from the year 12 QCS writing task exam.
But the plunnies kept attacking, so I decided to give it a shot.
I work sans beta, please let me know if there are any glaring errors or continuity issues.

Also all my AU's set post 4th-year work on the same premise:

Dumbledore and Snape got a clue at some point during GOF, and intercepted the Graveyard, thus Crouch Jnr and Pettigrew were both captured, Real Moody testified, Sirius could have his name cleared and Voldy stayed Vapour.

But now Dumbles and Snape are suspicious, how is Voldy still Vapourmort?

So they realise there must be more Horcruxes, and still set out to hunt them down and destroy them.

Basically this means that Umbridge never comes to Hogwarts, and therefore there's no DA and no finding the ROR. (But I think Luna would still become their friend eventually anyway, cause she's already kinda friends with Ginny before OOTP.) But there is still a need for Slughorn to come back. And Harry gets to go live with Sirius once they have tracked down the Horcruxes. I don't think they would live at No 12 though. I think the locket would be found when they were cleaning the place up to sell it, and Kreacher's story would come out then.

Finally, disclaimers. Obviously I'm not JKR. I am also lucky enough to come into the fanfiction world at a time when the writers and artists before me have fought for and won the right to post our works. Not very long ago you had to put major disclaimers up on everything to protect yourself legally. Thankfully the lawyers seem to be less trigger happy nowdays, and JKR has always been supportive of letting us play with her characters. So I'm celebrating the wins of the writers and artists who came before me, by not putting disclaimers on every fic and every chapter.
