It takes Logan three and a half hours to reach the house, on the outskirts of Scranton Pennsylvania.

Upon reaching the town, it takes Logan an hour to find the three men. Logan decides to watch and observe from a distance. Trying to determine if this man really is who Logan thinks he is.

Logan stuck to the shadows as his query and his two companions went through what looked like a simple investigation routine.

After the second day, Logan had followed them to a diner where they sat eating their lunch. Now Logan may be a very skilled and trained soldier, but not even he can hold it forever.

Logan got up and made a quick break to the bathroom. He was only gone for a couple minutes, but by the time he came out they were gone. Logan quickly paid for his food, then followed their scent outside, and down an alley, when their scent trail ended. Like literally, it just ended, right there behind the diner.

Logan is looking around, trying to find them, when 'whack', Logan gets smacked upside the head.

Whipping around, he finds the man he was following and the two other men that were with him.

"It's been almost 200 years. You don't call. You don't write. I was beginning to think that you had forgotten about me." The man in question says.

"Who are you?" said Logan.

"Wow. You're going to pull that card, are you?" He sighs, and says sarcastically, "Well, hello to you too brother."

"Matty?" questions Logan.

"What did Mother say about calling me 'Matty'?!" The newly rediscovered 'Matty' yelled.

"But-"

"No! Shut up! You are going to let me talk!" Matty takes a deep breath, "For almost 200 years you and Victor have been running off chasing one war after another! And I understand why you and Victor left, but couldn't you have taken me with you?! I mean, you left me, with MOTHER! Do you have any idea just how insufferable she became after you two left?! Then when I had hit puberty, my mutant gene activated! That is not a situation that anyone wants to be in to find out that, 'Hey you remember the man that James had killed, who had killed your father? Who actually was James' father? Yeah well, he's also your father.' Do you see where I'm going with this?"

Matty looks at Logan, but before he could get a word in edgewise, Matty started up again, "Then, when I turned 18, I went looking for you two idiots! And what do I find?!" Logan looked like he was going to answer, "Don't answer that, it was a rhetorical question. When I FINALLY found you, the two of you had gotten involved in the American Civil War!"

"If you were there the whole time, why didn't you ever show yourself?" Logan quickly asked, as Matty was taking a breath.

"Why? I thought that was obvious?" Matty asks with an incredulous look on his face.

Logan just looks at him like, 'Well Yoda, if I knew that, I wouldn't be asking you, now would I?'

"You didn't need me. And from the conversations that I had overheard from the two of you over the years, you didn't want me there anyway." Matty says this with a resigned look on his face. He had accepted the fact that his brothers would never want him around.

"What conversations are you talking about?" asked Logan .

"In 1868, the two of you were at a tavern in Wisconsin. The two of you were talking about the war, and then Victor said, 'You know brother, I sure am glad that that kid isn't here. He was just plain annoying.' Then you said, 'Me too Vic. Me too.' Then I left." said Matty.

"Okay first of all," -wack-, "Matthew, you're an idiot. We weren't talking about you. We were talking about this really annoying kid that had been following us for a month, and just wouldn't stop talking. He almost got all three of us blown up. We had finally managed to lose him, when his mother found him and took him back home." Logan takes a breath, "And second of all, if you had stayed just another couple of minutes, you would have heard the both of us wondering what had happened to you. You would have heard us make plans to go back to Canada, to check on you."

"Well, then why didn't you?!" Matthew asks in bewilderment.

"We did you idiot! We went back after the Civil War had ended! When we got there, the house was gone! We asked around, and everyone said that back in 1853, the house burnt down in the night! They said that there were no survivors! We thought that you were dead!" By this point, both Logan and Matthew were both breathing heavily.

"Matty, we wanted you there. We just thought that you would have been too young to remember us." Logan huffed.

"...You know, it was Mother who had set the fire. She saw that I was going through what both you and Victor went through at that age. She thought that there was something wrong with Thomas' seed, that made all three of us the way that we are. She thought that we were demons. Since she couldn't kill Thomas, she decided to kill what was left of Thomas, at least in that house and herself. She thought that since she had birthed you and I, that she was now corrupt." Matthew takes a shaky breath, "I remember the house burning. Mother had started multiple fires. One in the kitchen, one in the sitting room, and another in my bedroom. When I came to, I was in my coffin. Buried in my grave. I had to dig myself out. Luckily, when I had first started to feel sick, I got paranoid, and over the course of a couple of weeks I had secreted away money and a few other things. Just in case."

Matthew looks at his brother, waiting for some kind of reaction. He doesn't have to wait long.

"That bitch! If she wasn't already dead, I'd kill her myself!" Taking a moment to collect and calm himself down, Logan took a deep calming breath, before he looked back up seemingly remembering something, "Wait, you said that you had been following us. How had we not noticed you? How long have you been following us?"

"So, you know how both you and Vic are called, 'Ferals'? How, you are a wolverine and Vic is a sabertooth?" Matthew asked. Logan nodded his head. "Well, so am I. Only I'm a 'Fox Feral'."

"Okay, and how long have you been following us?" Logan asked.

"Okay, so don't be mad." At this, Logan ground his teeth.

"So I've spent the past 150 years or so, building a network of people to help me keep tabs on you and Victor. And to tell me what is going on in the different parts of the world, so that I know where I am most needed."

"So you've been following us this whole time?"

"Yeah." Matthew smirked, "Like you know back in Vietnam, in June of 1963, the two of you had gotten black out drunk?"

"Yeah..."

"Remember when you two had woken up to find yourselves, naked, tied to a tree, covered in honey and left for the ants?"

"...Yeah."

"That was me." Matthew chuckled. "It was hilarious."

"Why you little shit!" Logan then made a grab for Matthew, but he was too fast. After chasing Matty throughout the town, Logan finally managed to catch him. Logan hogtied him, and then carried him off.

While all of that happened, the arguing and the subsequent chase, the two other suited men were standing off to the side, watching all of this occur.

"Dean, do you think that we should interfere?" The taller one of the pair asked the shorter one.

"Nah Sammy, let's just keep an eye on them, and get back to finding and killing this monster." Dean said to the newly identified Sammy.
