Naruto's Place
Naruto had finished breakfast up with hiratsuka and it was now noon when she left.
They had spent the rest of the time talking about training workouts and regimes, which he toned down knowing the differences between his people and the people here.
"Hmm I feel like I forgot something" Naruto thought to himself as he closed the door behind hiratsuka.
He walked over to the couch and picked up his jacket on his way to his room, just as he was about to enter the doorway he felt a vibration from his jacket.
"Huh?" he wondered as he pulled out the phone he forgot about inside of his jacket
"HOLY SHIT!" He screamed as he bolted out of the house throwing his jacket on and locking the front door when he read the screen that lit up.

Train Station
"Haa~ Haa~ Shit i hope I made it" Naruto swore to himself, bent over breathing hard, as he finally reached the train station.
"You're the worst you know that?" He snapped his head over to where the voice came from to see Saki and Kei-chan staring at him with cold eyes.
"Kawasaki, Kei-chan i'm soooo sorry. I had a guest this morning and I totally lost track of time, forgive me!" He shouted bowing his head hoping it would be the start of them forgiving him.
"It's fine we just got back from the amusement park anyway, we're on our way home" She replied coldly
"Kawasaki i'm so sorry, i'll make it up to you and kei-can." He said bowing even lower
Kawasaki was about to tell him to go die or eat dirt when she felt a small tug at her wrist
"Nee-Chan, can we still hangout and make him buy us ice cream?" Kei said with her patented puppy dog eyes.
Sigh
"Okay kei just for you." Kawasaki said with a small smile resigning her anger to herself.
Kawasaki had gotten home too late after work this morning to make her breakfast anyway, so it was a way to make it up to kei she figured.
"Uzumaki-Namikaze!" She shouted and pointed at Naruto
"H-hai?" Naruto answered unsurely standing up straight but still rigid
"In order to make up for your grievous mistake you will be taking kei and I out for the afternoon, got it?" She told, not asked, him
"Sure, that's fine with me. It's what I wanted to do anyway." He said with a small sigh and smile of relief
"And you will be buying us lunch!" She added
"Yay ice cream! Let's go naru-nii!" Kei yelled as she ran past Naruto, dragging Kawasaki and now him along.
Shopping District
They then spent the next three hours and went all around the downtown area from shop to shop checking out every store that peeked Kawasaki and kei's interest.
"That one next that one next!" Kei exclaimed pointing at a music shop with her new vanilla ice cream cone with sprinkles
"Okay okay, be careful so that you don't drop this cone kei" Naruto said still being pulled laughing and balancing his chocolate cone
"You two need to slow down" Kawasaki said laughing and trailing just behind them with her strawberry ice cream cone
Naruto had kept good on his word treating them to lunch and ice cream along with buying them small Knick knacks that they really liked.
Kawasaki loved it but also couldn't help but feel guilty that Naruto was spending so much money on them. She was just fine with him spending time with them like he promised.
As they entered the shop there was a huge selection of instruments on one side and on the other was CD's, Records, with band posters covering all the walls.
"Wow! This is so cool!" Kei chirped and went to go check out the CD's with her sister
Naruto walked over to one of the rock shelves and started perusing through all the CD's.
Since he's been there he's taking to a few new hobbies and music was one of them. He loved the variety and wide selection he could take in with a song.
No matter what genre he knew someone somewhere put their love and dedication into it, so that's what made anything worth listening too.
"Red hot chili peppers, have. Pink Floyd, have. Rolling Stones, have. Toad the wet sprocket? Wow some of these have weird names." He sweat dripped a little seeing the names got more ridiculous as he looked.
"Wow I love this song!" He heard Kawasaki say in another section of the store
Naruto came around the corner to hear what she was listening to when he heard it.

I sold some tickets

Kawasaki sang along with her eyes closed nodding her head to the beat.
Naruto saw Kei was off to the side looking at baby shark remixes.

By the second verse he was standing in front of Kawasaki and singing along too.
She opened her eyes and looked at him surprised that he knew this song. When she saw he had his eyes closed, was singing it with passion, that surprised her even more.

They both sang that last part of the song looking into each other's from across the waist high shelves full of CD's separating them.
"Wow Kawasaki is really pretty" Naruto thoughtstaring into her green eyes.
Kawasaki was having similar thoughts about Naruto "Wow his eyes are as deep and blue as the ocean, I never really noticed until now"
"Hey what are you two doing?" Kei popped up next to Naruto shocking them both out of their thoughts
"N-Nothing Kei/Kei-chan" they both exclaimed with their cheeks red turning away from each other
"Oh okay, anyway I got the CD for the song you two were singing right here!" She said proudly holding it over for Kawasaki
"Thanks kei! I've been wanting this EP forever! Naruto I'm surprised you know this artist" she said holding the CDup and then looking at him
"Well I appreciate music in general and I'm not just interested in one genre" he said scratching his cheek
"Well it's nice to know I have a fellow yuubi fan with me" she said smiling
"Uhhh yuubi?"
"Yeah short for kyuubi, it's whathis fans have started saying for short"
"Wow kurama would've hated the name but loved the fans" he thought to himself laughing
"Well let me buy it for you then." He said taking out of her hand and it to the counter before she could protest
"Naruto you don't have to! It's expensive and only three songs cause his full album isn't out yet!" She said over his shoulder seeing the cashier ringing it up
"It's okay, I'm sure it's not-"
"That'll be 3,925 yen please." The cashier said
"Holy shit I'm surprised, it said 1,500 on the tag though?" Naruto explained
"Yeah sorry, it's just me working here since it's my shop and I hadn't gotten to redo the pricing. It's only expansive cause he's a hot new artist I was lucky just to get this copy" he said apologetically
"No it's fine I was just surprised is all" Naruto said handing over the cash and turning around "here you go Kawasaki"
For her part Kawasaki was in shock. Buying a CD may not have seemed that important to Naruto but to her it was huge.
No one had taken an interest in what she liked before and due to her family's circumstances she barely had any extra money to get herself frivolous things like CD's. Let alone an expansive EP.
But Naruto not only bought her the only CD she's been wanting this year but it was also first gift she's ever been given by a guy.
She couldn't help but feel the heat rush up her neck as he held out the bad for her to take with that damned smile she was becoming too used to seeing.
"Thank you naruto" she said barely above a whisper
"What was that Kawasaki-San?" Naruto asked unable to hear what she said
"Thank you! Thank you so much, this is so nice of you" she said a little louder turning more red and refusing to look up at him
Naruto for his part did say anything but looked at her with a smile thinking back to when Iruka-sensed or jiraya bought him something and how he acted.
"Of course" he said lowly back to her with a smile that actually reached his eyes
"Naru-nii can I get this baby shark CD?" Kei popped up asking holding out the CD
"Hahaha of course kei-Chan I'll get anything for my princess!" She shouted lifting her up and turning around again to buy it with her
Kawasaki just looked on with a red face and a bright smile
Kawasaki Home
Kawasaki was finally in bed after a long day out with Kei and Naruto. They spent a little longer window shopping before Naruto treated them to dinner and walked them home.
She had just finished putting her siblings to sleep and it was a night off for her so she planned to use this time to study and relax.
She just finished getting out of the shower when she sat down at her desk and stared at her textbooks, starting to get annoyed that she was about to study when she looked over at her clock and saw it was already close to 10pm.
"Fuck it I can study tomorrow" she said and just went and collapsed face down in her bed
She heard a slight ruffling sound when she did so and realized that the bad with her CD was next to her.
All she could do was smile at it and see Naruto's face, she decided to put the CD in and out her earphones on to listen till she fell asleep.
Naruto's home
Naruto was in his living room next to kurama on the couch while he was writing in his notebook when he heard a vibration.
He picked up his phone and saw it was a message from Kawasaki
"Thanks for the CD. Its amazing and I can't wait for the full album"
He smiled and replied back
"Yeah I'm sure it's gonna be good! I'll get you a copy when it comes out!"
Next thing he knew he was laying down with kurama on his chest texting Kawasaki till they both fell asleep.
